Las instalaciones del hotel son maravillosas, tiene todo perfecto, el diseño , los productos de aseo, el baño la ducha , las camas . Todo está muy bien. El desayuno excelente y el restaurante fantástico.

Beautiful hotel, amazing location, beds and pillows to die for. Service .... 7 out of of 10 .... The only reason I didn't give this a perfect 10 out of 10 is because on arrival with our rental car from Guadalajara we were treated rudely by the hotel security guard. We arrived on Friday April 10 around 4 pm ... It was our first time in Tequila and at this hotel. There really isn't a huge drive way for cars so I pulled up like ANYONE would pull in to a parking space ... and the security guard (he was dressed in black and NOT the hotel bellman) didn't greet us with a smile or hello are you checking in ? .. instead he said "HEY TURN THE CAR AROUND" .. and since I am 100% fluent in Spanish and from Central America ... I sternly told the security guard to WATCH his tone ...We are checking in, to relax and I would do it ... But that's how you greet guest who don't know that cars are suppose to face out ??? Maybe hotel management should TRAIN the security guards to greet guest in a more proper and professional manner !!!!!! As for service of the rest of our stay we had excellent service ... at the both the pool downstairs and on the rooftop. Prices for drinks and food were very moderate considering this is the best hotel in Tequila. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious .. the air conditioning works perfect ... the days were there the temps were 95 degrees and within minutes of coming back to the room the room were nice and cold. The beds and pillows are excellent ... the bathrooms huge !!! I loved the open hallways were you can feel the breeze coming thru. we had a room that faced the pool and it was lovely. Location can not be beat .. literally on the town square. We parked our cars on arrival of Friday and didn't use it til late Monday afternoon when we left. Parking is free. Valet only. Price ... we paid approximately $300 USD a night .. but beware taxes are close to 20% a night .. but honestly it was worth it. We tried the La Antigua Casona restaurant and it was great .. the service was perfect and the food yummy ... the best churros with carmel and hot chocolate ... loved it ... Overall we had a great stay and would not hesitate to stay again ... But hotel management needs to address how security greets guest !!!! So 9 out 10 for everything !!!!!

Very odd that they charged for using more than 2 coffee canisters when they places 6 in the room. Silly at this price point for a room.

The location is amazing. Close to all the restaurants and close to our favorite tequila distilleries (Los Abuelos and Arette). This is the second time we stayed in this hotel, the restaurant for breakfast was so good and all staff are very helpful.

It would have been nice to get comfortable pillows. Pillows we're flat.

A beautiful hotel, staff very attentive, room was large and comfortable. Great location in the heart of Tequila . The restaurant Antigua Casona is excellent. I would certainly return.

My husband and I have always wanted to visit Tequila. This hotel is on the plaza making it walkable to the larger distilleries. The hotel is beautiful, well appointed, has a great restaurant, and attentive staff. There is a separate adult pool area on the roof with a bar. When in Tequila, choose this hotel, you won’t be disappointed. Tip: visit mid week, the town gets crowded and rowdy on the weekends.

After a gold ring went missing and a terrible meal in the hotel, I checked out with the rest of my party and was promised by the Manager that the balance would be returned. They have not returned my 5000 pesos, and now they do not reply to me after 4 different attempts. I now have to take them to Profeco for this fraud....

One of my favorite hotels. We stay there often on our way to Puerto Valletta.

The hotel needs to install some grab bars in the male public restrooms and a few rooms. Currently, only one female public restroom has a grab bar. The combination of low profile toilets and no grab bars makes for a very difficult situation for older folks. I won't return to the hotel until they assure me that some action has been taken.

There was NOTHING OPEN from the moment I drove into the town, walked over 1/2 hour around hunting for dinner and a beverage. It was just after 11 PM and not one thing in that town was open except the hotel lobby, where I was allegedly to stay. The properties amazing, it’s just that a town like tequila should have something open past 11:30 PM. I traveled all day and I was starving and really just wanted a tequila or three to calm my nerves from driving in Mexico when I’m not used to driving in Mexico or especially at night.

Mucho ruido durante toda la noche. Tacones de mujeres sonando por los pisos, peleas a un lado de mi habitación, gritos de gente que venía de la fiesta, no me dejaron dormir en toda la noche.

Don't stay near the swimming pool on the first floor because on the weekends they have fabulous weddings and it's pretty loud at night and won't be able to sleep. The Hotel really is beautiful 😍

The staff’s attitude could have been more welcoming, and the room had a strong musty smell, suggesting possible mold or humidity issues. Pool noise.

Our room was bright and breezy, the roots of this hotel reflect the peoples commitment to a unique distillation of agave. Truly the best hotel experience of my life... simple, accessible, Solar de las Animas Tequila is family friendly and close to town center. If you need anything, just ask... pool(s), restaurant, bar, 24 hour room service. Perfect

This is a great hotel. A rooftop pool with a bar, a ground floor pool with no one in it. The room was large and very comfortable with nightly turn-down service. A free shoe shine during your stay (who does that)? The staff were friendly and kind.

There wasn’t anything that I did not like about this hotel.

My husband and I recently returned from our stay at this property and had an excellent experience. I was traveling for business, and the hotel’s location proved ideal—just minutes from the distillery and situated directly in the square, offering convenient access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The property itself is beautifully maintained. The rooftop views are outstanding, the gardens and pool are stunning, and the guest rooms are both spacious and comfortable. The service exceeded our expectations. The front desk staff, in particular, went above and beyond to assist us, and room service was equally attentive and efficient. We look forward to returning on our next visit and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

An absolutely delightful hotel. It was a return to a time seemingly long gone. A time when hotel staff made guests feel welcome and appreciated, a time when hotel rooms were delightfully appointed, when attention was paid to the "little things". Our stay was indescribably wonderful.

Incredible place, everything was incredible, dining, service, views, drinks, bar, rooftop... Can't see anything wrong with this place. Very friendly staff and not expensive for the amenities. And two minutes from center plaza and Jose Cuervo distillery

Very beautiful property and very convenient.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The hotel is specious, clean, beautifully decorated with lush gardens. The staff is friendly and helpful. We love being in the middle of the town square with easy access to restaurants and shops. Our room was grand and the bed was very comfortable. The A/C and robes allow you to fully relax in comfort. We spent time in the rooftop pool and enjoyed drinks and snacks there. We also enjoyed the cafe downstairs for iced lattes and pasteries. Definitely book this place if it’s in your budget.

The place was really close to their plaza and well kept. The rooms were very nice and big. A bar on the rooftop and in the first floor. A pool for adults in the rooftop and a family pool in the first floor. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel that serves delicious breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

My stay was from July 4 to July 7 2025. What a great hotel. We had the master suite. The hotel is next to the main square and it is a perfect location. The skybar had great steak nachos and views. The Saturday and Sunday Buffet was amazing. The entire staff was great but Victor did a great job helping us get my jeep to the hotel and booking tequila tours. I would recommend this great hotel to anyone visiting Tequila!!

Second time staying here and it definitely won’t be the last! We love this hotel! And the staff go above and beyond! Gracias! To add, the food at the restaurant has changed drastically since the first visit. And not in a good way but hopefully it was just that day.

My wife and I stayed three nights in this beautiful hotel. This is the gold standard of hotels in Tequila. Elegant, upscale yet not pretentious. The property is immaculate and the employees are attentive. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool with a commanding view of the central square, the magnificent church and the volcano. Our room was spacious, overlooking the pool- although we wished for a balcony but there are none at this property. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant as well. What we most enjoyed was coming back to this property after a day of touring and tasting to relax and unwind. The property is centrally located and well worth the splurge

We stayed here last week during our visit to tequila. Beautiful hotel w excellent service and old world charm. Conveniently located in the city square. Beautifully designed with rooms overlooking gardens. The decor and furniture were gorgeous. We loved our stay here !
