늦은밤 도착해서 잠깐 잠만 자려고 예약했는데 나름 괜찮았어요.공항근처 호텔들중에 청결상태가 안좋다하고 벌레나오고 늦은밤 체크인하기 다소 불편한거 같더라구요.그래서 이곳으로 결정.시설은 오래 됐지만 벌레없고 침구류 깨끗했어요.가격대비 만족이에요.

친절하고 편하게 지내고 왔어요. 다음에도 찾아뵙겠습니다.

ガヤストリート、スリアサバ、ボート乗り場が徒歩圏内、コンビニも至近距離で、すごく便利！その分車通りも多いので、外の音は聞こえます。廊下の音も聞こえます。シービューは建物の間から見える感じ（シービュー重要視していないので全然問題ない）。Wi-fiは使えますがそんなに強くはないです。 立地と値段を考えたら大満足です！！！

Great location

Great location, friendly staff, fantastic Italian restaurant on the ground floor (which I assumed was part of the hotel, but apparently it isn't). Frustratingly, they ask for a deposit in cash when you check in - even though you've paid for the room in full in advance! I didn't have enough cash on me and refused to go to an ATM to get out only the cash needed for the deposit to stay here for 1 night, as I was leaving Malaysia the next morning and wouldn't need that cash so it would be a waste. After a while, the lady on reception agreed to take the only cash I had left - which wasn't the full deposit amount, but I appreciated her being accommodating and realistic.

Good location for shopping and foods. Room is clean, quiet and comfortable.

スタッフに道を尋ねたが、あまり知らない様子で、徒歩3分の距離をgrabを使えと言われた。 結局、自力で解決した。 無愛想なスタッフもいるし、親切なスタッフもいたが、特に問題なし。 ガヤ通りから徒歩3分でとても便利だし、カラフルな建物なので目印になって迷う事が無かった。 スリア・サバや、フェリー・ターミナルも徒歩圏内で、思う存分観光を楽しめた。

Staff here was excellent. Went out of their way to make sure the stay went well. Great location. Across from mall and next door to Italian restaurant. Many shops on the block.

Nice place to stay!

Have stayed in capital hotel so many times and it was a pretty good hotel overall. But this visit makes me so upset. The stay was fine. When we were checking out, the housekeeper says there were a couple of make up stains on one of the towels. She tried to wash it with the shower gel that was left over and said it could not be washed off. We were told to pay 50 ringgit for the damage!! Or we can go to the laundromat nearby to have the towel cleaned at our own expense. When has it been the guest’s responsibility to wash the linen of the room?! Nevertheless I went to the supermarket, bought a bottle of normal laundry detergent and went up to the room to wash the towel. The so called unwashable make up stains were totally cleaned within 3 minutes of hand washing with a normal detergent. Hotel management, please look into this practice of asking your guests to wash the linen of the room. That’s YOUR responsibility!!!

Great location to walk to the marina to go to the islands or a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk to get food and drinks.

It was close to Jesselton point where we went for diving and very close to the mall. It was just very easy to get around. The staff were nice and helped us with so many things. The room was excellent for this price. If I am going to Sabah again, I will definitely stay here.

Honestly I couldn’t think of a place I’d rather stay in Kota Kinabalu. This was our second time there, this time in the King size bed room. Very clean, great air-con, nice showers, perfect location. Inexpensive. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel in the centre of town and near shopping malls and eateries. Service was good and very value for money. Only issues was that after 4 nights of staying, the sheets are not changed so maybe that could be improved.

Cozy hotel located in between everything you ever need. Shopping Malls, night markets, morning markets, restaurants, bars and cafes. Walking distance to Jesselton pier as well to catch a boat ride to Gaya island for half day recursions. Highly recommended.

Convenient to all shopping and places to eat. Only 15 mins from airport. Near to Sunday market too.

Have usually stay in Hotel Capital for the past 3 years whenever i visit KK for business. I took my chances and have tried a few others but end up regretting why hadn’t I just stick to Capital in the first place! It is truly a value for money hotel or the location and quality. I can’t pick on anything to say bad about it for the price it charges. You will be amazed by the furnishings and cleanliness when u step into the hotel. It is a non smoking hotel and they take smoking issue very seriously , guest will have to pay 200 for cleaning if the room was found to have after smoking tabacco smell, am a smoker myself but still, I fully support this rule as the rooms are so much more comfortable to stay in Without any smoking smell from previous guest. Will definitely choose this hotel again for many years to come.

Easy Check in. Nice location

Simple, clean hotel in a close location to jesselton point and handicraft market. We were not given instruction for Wi-Fi, which left us confused for a little while. Also the list of 'damage charges' for items in the room is just uncomfortable.

Our room and bathroom were clean, pretty spacious. The only complaint we had was the slow WiFi.

The hotel room is clean and tidy. Check-in and check-out was fast and efficient. The location for the hotel was excellent, close to the city centre and shopping areas. Plenty of food places nearby. Highly recommended for budget and family travellers. However, the WiFi service within the hotel room would need improvements. Not very conducive for business travellers. I found that the WiFi signal was weak within the room and the Internet speed was rather slow. Was unable to check my emails at night as the connection was weak and slow. Overall, the hotel is rather okay with a very clean room for short stays.

Hotel Capital is located centrally in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. The price is very reasonable despite the location, the staff are very friendly and attentive, and most importantly the rooms are very comfortable. I would recommend anyone coming to KK to stay here either for business or leisure.

Very nice helpful staff. I had problem about mi bag was not arrived with th airplane at time. The staff call them about 6 times to clear. Very nice. Bad internet, no swimming pool.

The room is expected to be quite run down when I reached the hotel entrance, as it has an old looking tradition look. But when I got first got out from the lift I was impressed by the room floor lift foyer area. And when i went into the room immediately I wanted to stay here for my whole 3 nights stay in KK, and will definitely come back here for my next trip! (Initially plan was to stay one night and switch hotel) The room is clean, spacious, high ceiling ,well decorated, and the bed is comfortable. Only set back is the poor internet connection, it drop off every 30sec making it not useful at all. Overall no regrets staying in Capital! Good job Capital !

Though it was a old hotel but newly renovated room, clean reasonable size. Good convenient location with eateries & shopping ctr nearby.

Overall good experience staying at the refurbished hotel room and location was good. Only gripe is the room's wifi access was not great and internet access at times can be non-responsive.

This hotel is beyond our expectation. The price is fair, but room is clean and bed is comfy. The location is convenient too (close to the shopping center, restaurants). You can see the sea from your room (although only partial view)

Hotel is clean. Both bedroom and bath area. Location near to almost everything. Sunday market and eating places etc. The people who manage the front desk and the doormen are friendly and helpful except for one receptionist from the front desk who is very unhelpful and lazy. I checked out on the 16/4/2017 in the noon. She refused to print an invoice for me. Only after wasting my time on insisting, then she printed one for me. If she carried on to make everything difficult for me, I would have missed my flight to Tawau.

My stay was quite comfortable. Nothing fancy but nothing to complain about either. The location of the hotel is good close to the harbour. Hotel looks to be newly renovated so the room was fresh. I would have liked to have breakfast at the hotel which they don't serve. Luckily there are few options within couple of blocks.

Overall is great but if prices can be lower that it will be greater

Good:Thanks for the late check-out offer. Bright, nice room, convenient location Things to improve: 1. 2 bottles of water only provided per day which I think this is insufficient for those who drink lots of water every day. When we ask for more on the check-out day, the reception said: only if you extend, we will provide 2 more. This is the really first time I heard throughout the hotels I stayed. 2. Upon check-out and proceed the deposit refund, the lady never say a single word to me and just pointing those places on the receipt which I should sign. Finally, she said: do you have 10 cent? I would like to comment although this is not 5-star hotel, I believe this is not acceptable in hotel industry.

Good location if you want to do boat trips, and also very central for the sea front and markets, shops, etc. Hotel ok, but not one of the better ones I've stayed at, a bit run down, and currently they are in the middle of having renovations, so perhaps that will improve. But for the cheap price it was good enough and staff were nice.

Location of this hotel was nice as close to all tourist spot such as Gaya Street, Jesselton Point, Suria Shopping mall & etc. The room are new refurnished. Bed are comfortable with 4 pillow (2 soft & 2 hard) which was good. The view from room was great and can see part of the sea. Although there is no room services in this hotel. But below hotel there is Italy restaurent which offer nice food. The negative point is although they fully refurnished the room. But didnt change the pillow cover which look old. Wifi just fine which sometime good sometime down. Definitely will come back if go KK again next time.

Clean, spacious room. Decoration is quite basic and a bit worn. Breakfast is adequate, food is well-prepared, but not a lot of options. Friendly staff. Free WiFi, the speed and reliability is quite good for Sabah. Good location in central Tawau. I have stayed in this hotel at least ten times and while it's not great or fancy, it has always offered reliable, solid comfort, and I've never had a bad experience with the staff, cleanliness, WiFi or food. That's why I keep going back.

Our room had a slight sea view which was great. Understand from the locals that it's one of the oldest hotels in Sabah but it was recently renovated so the rooms are clean and nice. Location is good, walking distance to eateries, shopping mall and the sea side. Overall a pleasant stay. TV has limited channels but then we are seldom in the room so not an issue.

We stayed at Hotel Capital for one night after Mt Kinabalu climb. The hotel is well located in the middle of Kota Kinabalu central, just a few short minutes' walk away from the jetty and Suria shopping center. Everything is conveniently nearby and is a good place to relax if not wanting to travel far. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel building looks quite old from the outside but the rooms are newly renovated and are spotlessly cleaned. In fact I would say that we were pleasantly surprised by how nice and comfortable it is inside.

Perhaps the room and bathroom need more cleanness and some nice scents to be put inside the room which will made the room feel more comfortable and relax.

Wifi wasn't too great but the room was great with a lovely veiw of the sea. Stayed for 2 nights after climbing mount Kinabalu and it was very much a welcomed comfort!

Stayed here for 3D2N at level 8. The room is quite spacious for a double bed room. It's clean and most importantly no cigarette-smoke smell. From our room, we can see the Suria Sabah shopping mall. As per the title of my review, the hotel is really strategically located. Why so? Merdeka shopping mall is just across the street of the hotel and the famous Little Italy restaurant just next door. A less than 10 minutes walking distances to Suria Sabah shopping mall, Gaya Street, and Tong Hing Supermarket. There are a lot of restaurants, convenient stores and banks around the area. Initially, upon check-in, we were only given a room card but we requested for a total of two as we might be coming back to the hotel separately. Wi-fi is free with a given password during check-in and the speed is acceptable for normaly browsing and not streaming video/You-tube. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

A nice hotel, small but well run. Staff at reception efficient with checkin and checkout. Rooms nicely done up and comfortable. Wonderful location.

Hotel is still undergoing renovation and we stayed in executive room. It was spacious, very clean, comfortable, good view and air conditioner really cold. Staffs were very friendly especially the housekeepers. The only problem was the wifi. Signal was very poor. And it was quite funny that the hotel provided very hard pillows but luckily they also kept two soft pillows in the closet which we were quite happy to use them. Overall, we have no regrets staying in capital hotel and looking forward to stay in this hotel in the future.

I stayed here for 2 days and a night. The room was impeccable and such a value for money. The decor was great and the room and the toilet was so clean. LOVED the hotel. Would only stay here if I'm back at KK. The location is so convenient. Tonnes of eateries and shops at walking distance. DO try dining at Little Italy right below the hotel.

The room was comfortable and quiet. A little annoying not having breakfast, and some of the surfaces of the furniture could have been cleaner. Air con worked well and location was central.

Room WIFI very lousy, stay 3 nights 2 night can't detect WIFI at all. Lobby WIFI also very wick and unstable.

i was here for a trip attending a course for 4 days. it was a great stay with newly renovated rooms. the staff was friendly and accommodating. Taxi service is available right in front of the hotel with an Italian restaurant attach to it. It serve good food.

Worth the price of $40 or so. Rooms are newly refurbished. We had a nice room on 8 th floor looking the harbor. Check in and out efficient. Will stay again if we visit KK.

The hotel is located just about 5 to 10 min walk from the ferry port and with quite a few shops, malls and restaurants around. It was very clean, comfortable and with a modern feel, including air conditioning. Good service from the staff at the reception desk.

The stay was gd as they hv fully renovate the room .Location is easy for me to move around and I do love the Little Italy next door

My stay at Hotel Capital was a very pleasant experience. The great location in KK, the friendly helpful reception staff, the clean and modern room; all factored to ensuring my visit was quite a positive one. The only drawback was on a couple of occasions the ongoing hotel renovation caused enough noise to wake me up earlier than I had planned.
