What a gem! 😍 Italian Guesthouse was honestly one of the best parts of my trip to Saint Lucia. The view over Rodney Bay is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset, and the location is perfect close to the beach, great restaurants, and the Friday night street party. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. But the real highlight was the hospitality. The hosts are amazing and super friendly, always smiling, and full of great tips on where to eat and what to do. They really make you feel like you're staying with friends rather than at a guesthouse. Highly recommend! 🌴🇱🇨❤️

La vue est exceptionnelle. Le cadre est vraiment très sympa. En plus, le fait d’être en hauteur rend l’usage de la clim inutile avec les alizés qui vous bercent. Le personnel est très gentil. Pas invasif. C’est aussi pratique d’être récupéré à la gare maritime. En fait, on se sent comme à la maison. C’est simple, une halte hors du temps, comme chez des amis avec une ambiance pas compliquée. En basse saison, j’étais la seule résidente, ce qui a rajouté à mon impression d’être tranquille à la maison. Une bien belle façon de découvrir Sainte-Lucie. À noter tout de même qu’avoir une voiture de location ou pouvoir joindre un chauffeur est quand même nécessaire sinon on peut descendre la colline et prendre un taxi collectif mais je conseille de remonter en voiture. Le logement est quand même réservé à ceux qui peuvent se déplacer. Point IMPORTANT : Il y a eu des ruptures d’approvisionnement sur le réseau d’eau alors pensez à acheter des réserves d’eau en bouteille et heureusement, chaque logement a sa citerne. Ce n’est pas négligeable du tout.

La réceptionniste a essayé de faire ce qu'elle pouvait et était compréhensive contrairement au manager

⚠️ Attention : Photos trompeuses, absence de vue et service client malhonnête Ne vous faites pas avoir par la photo principale : elle ne correspond pas à tous les logements. Nous avons réservé pour une jolie vue, mais nous avons hérité d'une chambre avec vue sur un parking en gravier. L'établissement mélange les photos : une seule chambre a la belle vue, les autres n'ont rien. De plus, le service client a sciemment fait traîner les choses : ils ont mis un temps infini à répondre, puis ont ignoré mes appels. Ce manque de réactivité m'a empêché d'annuler à temps pour récupérer 50 % de la somme. Résultat : j'ai été prélevé de la totalité et ils n'ont rien voulu savoir. Les autres points négatifs : Insonorisation inexistante : Les murs sont très fins et tremblent dès que quelqu'un marche à côté. Propreté et hygiène déplorables : Présence de cafards. Des nuisibles ont même rongé la planche à découper et d'autres équipements (photos à l'appui). Bilan : Une grosse déception et un sentiment de s'être fait avoir. Le rapport qualité-prix est inexistant et la gestion est de mauvaise foi. À fuir si vous cherchez la tranquillité et une jolie vue.

It is located on the hills, two houses have great views. But I didn’t enjoy my stay, my biggest complaint was too many mosquitos, I got bitten all over even with the netting. The windows were always open, and no AC in the room they moved me over to. And the owner was in Italy, he charged $11 USD more than what was advertised in booking.com even though it says taxes and fees included in the advertised price. I wouldn’t recommend this property.

Too many mosquitoes. Some rooms have no AC, some rooms having AC, and usage of AC cost US $10 more each day.

My teenage son and I had the most wonderful stay at the Italian guesthouse. The staff were v friendly and welcoming and we felt at home there. The facilities were very clean and the apartment well equipped. The grounds were beautifully cared for and the views were stunning!

L'Host è molto simpatico e disponibile a dare consigli su cosa vedere e come visitare l'isola. La guesthouse è si trova in cima a una collina dalla quale si ha una visuale panoramica su tutta Rodney Bay

What is there not to like especially if you're a nature person.

Petit cocon agréable pour un couple avec une très belle vue. La femme de ménage est très accueillante et à l'écoute.

Nous avions réservé un bungalow avec deux chambres et malheureusement nous nous sommes retrouvé avec une seule chambre. Il ya du avoir une erreur.

Our stay at the Italian Guesthouse was nothing short of fantastic: the room was beautiful, tastefully decorated with a stunning view from both the windows and the rooftop patio, and Alessandro was an amazing host, who was very accommodating and did his utmost to help us find our way around town. I would happily stay there again next time I'm in St Lucia.

A lovely traditional place in the hills. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. Amazing views over the marina and Rodney Bay. Staff at the placement was very friendly, polite, welcoming and helpful.

Due to remoteness, it would have been nice to have some board games for entertainment in the evenings. Prime location to get bitten by mosquitoes.

This was our second stay at Italian guesthouse, we absolutely love the place. On top of the hill the view is just breathtaking and the peace of this place is what we needed to finally relax! 2 minutes from gros islet Friday night, but away from the noisy road. And as always they make you feel at home!

There are mosquito nets on the beds. The cleaning staff are nice.

I was overcharged. The beds are uncomfortable. Up a very steep hill. They try to sell you their taxi guys and are very pushy when you decline. The noise from the next door apartment was like an elephant walking through our rooms. I could walk straight through an unlocked door into the next apartment so security is bad. I also had so many messages from the host but he was ignoring my responses. It felt like harassment.

Kitchen was well equipped, but it's outside so expect a bit of interested spectators while you cook 😅

A/c cost extra 30 ec$ for a night that nobody told us.... it's a shame and you should put it on you bio. Also stuff from reception contacted us about 3 o'clock that she's going at 5 because she has a birthday on next day (?). So we came to empty place and had a video that shown us where we need to go (but in the dark it was much more difficult). But for this price is OK. Also there's a bathtub but you can't use it as there's no plug 😅🤷‍♂️

No air conditioning was informed that has to be paid separately given fans noisy and grill at the front off leaving exposed blades.plus the flooring was too noisy cannot walk in the house no information as to what is going on in the country the activities etc

the view is spectacular, I loved waking up in the morning and seeing that view! the house skipper was very nice, polite and always available! I recommend it to those who like comfort

From the day before I arrived, I tried numerous times to get in contact with this property owner to ask information about checking in and access. The contact number on Expedia was attached to a ex member of staff that left over a year ago, that this started to ring alarm bells. I was worried whether this guest house was genuine and if I would be able to get last minute hotel/ guesthouse if I couldn’t access. Luckily Expedia managed to get in contact with the owner to alert him. When we arrived there, we had to ask another guest the contact info so that we could access to go in. Access to the property was very dark, and had no lights heading up to the guesthouse, so had to use our phone light to open the combination lock on the front door. This could be a hazard. The taxi driver also stated that I’m lucky that I got him as other taxi drivers do not like to drive to this location as it’s on top of a steep hill, the roads are bad and tricky to get to. Please bear in mind that, this property is a far distance away from the main road and supermarkets / shops. The property had a lot of large insects and creatures due to the wooden louvres which allows for insects to freely come in. The toilet was broken and had no hot water. I alerted the owner and he sent someone to fix it the next day. It would’ve been nice if this was operating as it should before I arrived.The Property was clean and had a nice view other than this, I would not recommend.

Nothing. We didn't stay here once we were "checked in".

First, and most importantly, there was a security camera in an area that we were told was for our private use which is incredibly creepy and objectionable. There was also dirty towels and shoes from other people in the same area. The room was not as described (view and amenities) and was filthy (the bathroom in particular). No one was available to check us in on arrival (which was the time indicated on booking) and communication was with several people, none of whom seemed to know what was going on. We stayed 3 hours while we tried to rectify the situation, messaging different people connected to the property who either ignored us or tried to pass us off to someone else. As it was soon to be dark, we left to find another place to stay. Later that evening, the person listed as "general manager" finally replied and apologised via text but has ignored us since we requested a full refund. We have also contacted booking.com regarding this issue with no reply in 3 days despite their assurances that someone would contact us within 24 hours. We have further photos and videos showing the state of the room and property.

I called the general manager for an iron.he didnt answer the call or called back.i sent him a message vía whtsapp ,he read it and never replied. Noone checked us in which is poor .the room dudnt have an iron or an ironing board and no washcloths either

The Manager of the guesthouse gave me an amazing service and helped me with everything I needed. Definitely the best service I experienced. The room is well equipped and very comfortable. The only challenge is the location- the guesthouse is located on top of a hill, and if you have no car you need to walk up and down the steep hill every time you go somewhere. It's about 22 minutes walk up for an average fit person and 13 minutes walk down. But this location also makes the guesthouse very peaceful, and the Manager will offer you a ride down the hill if she makes the journey.

All in all a beautiful set up however my experience was not the best. Cockroaches and spiders everywhere including under the bug net at night!! No running water for a night and day and completely inaccessible without a car to drive up the dirt track road up a massive hill. If you are looking to be part of the busy hustle and bustle in Rodney Bay this is not the place for you to stay. Delia, Brian and Irene were absolutely lovely and helped as much as possible however the owners are rude and take a while to reply messages. They refused to give me money back after the bad experience which I feel is unacceptable considering the circumstances.

This is a fantastic little guesthouse. It is quiet and clean and the rooms have the most incredible views.

Foam mattress in a plywood hut. Infested with ants and bugs. Inaccessible Road. 45 min hard slog to main road. Not a hotel not a guesthouse but a kind of hostel or backpackers place but hotel rates. Took more money than expected from card. Trying really hard to find something positive to say. Even the taxi driver couldn't get up the dirt track to the place and had to carry luggage up the steep hill
