Taormina Palace Hotel

Location was very good for walk into town. The hotel although modern looking, could do with a make over.

Breakfast room really small, catered well for continental breakfast, but could have more cooked breakfast available. So not really worth the 22 Euros per person.

Great location few meters from the city center and shops, the staff was friendly

The parking is very expensive 30€ per day

Un punto muy positivo fue que llegamos antes de la hora del check-in y, como la habitación ya estaba preparada, nos permitieron entrar antes sin ningún problema. Un detalle que agradecimos mucho.

Taormina es una ciudad preciosa, pero también es sabido que es bastante cara, especialmente en lo que se refiere al alojamiento. El hotel está bien y, en general, cumple con las expectativas. Aun así, esperaba que la habitación fuera un poco más bonita después de ver las fotos. La terraza, que da a la calle, tampoco tiene nada especialmente destacable; está más bien dividida con algunas plantas y no ofrece unas vistas especiales. El precio es elevado, pero teniendo en cuenta lo cara que es Taormina, creo que cumple con lo esperado. Además, está relativamente cerca del centro, por lo que resulta cómoda para visitar la ciudad. En definitiva, no es un alojamiento espectacular, pero sí una opción correcta y recomendable si buscas algo bien ubicado en una ciudad con precios tan elevados como Taormina.

Emplacement proche du funiculaire et de la ville. Possibilité de parking.

Accueil moyen, aucune volonté de nous réserver un restaurant, prétextant que c’était la haute saison et que les restaurants ne prenaient pas de réservation. C’est moi qui ai du demander si l’hôtesse pouvait nous en recommander. J’ai pu y réserver moi-même à diner. Chambre très petite. Petit déjeuner très moyen.

Location You have to walk up steep hills to reach main Corso Umberto.

5 minutes walk to central Taormina. The restaurant is awesome especially in the evening with great views.

Because our stay was less than 2 nights we were given one of the ground floor overflow rooms. Not as advertised when booking (i.e. no ocean view room instead facing the reception/dining area). These rooms are very small room with dated facilities!

Camere spaziosissime e pulite alla perfezione! Doccia molto comoda,vista impareggiabile e personale disponibilissimo e gentile,dalla reception allo staff delle pulizie,agli addetti alla colazione.

La colazione è sicuramente da rivedere e non all’altezza della struttura e del suo staff,a partire dalla qualità dei succhi di frutta ai prodotti dolciari proposti.Un po meglio il salato,bella l’idea di avere una piccola carta con uova/uova e bacon/omelette servite al tavolo su richiesta. (Noi abbiamo preso uova e bacon ed erano molto buone)

No dispone de parking privado en el alojamiento, aunque te recomiendan algunos que están muy cerca y se puede ir andando al hotel sin problema.

It was spacious and nice ! We had a really long trip and it was so nice that in room the a/c was turn on full after a so hot day! The lady to the reception really kind! We lost one day because of Etna but the hotel refused to pay us back since it wasn’t our fault - they just claimed it wasn’t theirs fault either !

Recomendadisimo! La ubicación es PERFECTA. Estás a una escalera de tomar el funicular para bajar a las playas y a 2 cuadras del centro. El hotel es precioso, la habitación muy espaciosa. A destacar la gran atención de Alejandra que nos ayudó con algunas dudas que teníamos. Taormina, soñado!

El baño era bastante grande pero no así la ducha y la presión del agua podía ser un poco más fuerte. Lo demás perfecto :)

It was very noisy, especially at night. Bins being emptied, glass bottles smashing, road traffic very loud & busy, chairs scraping above our room. Parking was expensive and limiting.

Posizione eccellente sia rispetto al centro della città che rispetto ai parcheggi nel caso si viaggi in auto. La vista sul mare di alcune stanze è fantastica per un risveglio vista mare. La camera dispone di molti confort e sono ben arredate.

Not much actually. We didn’t even use the restaurant as the staff there was obnoxious and rude and it was too loud to be able to sleep with the restaurant going busy

Everything !!! My room was totally exposed to patrons of the restaurant. There was mould in the bathroom and the building was old, ugly, unloved and not renovated. The bathroom was tiny and a larger person had to squeeze into the shower (opening only 30cm wide) I paid A$460 PER NIGHT and it was a dump!!!!

Modernes, sehr sauberes Hotel in perfekter Lage. Nach nur wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man den Corso Umberto, die berühmte Flaniermeile von Taormina, mit ihren zahlreichen Geschäften, Restaurants und Cafés. Das Hotel bietet eine angenehme, moderne Atmosphäre und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Taormina zu Fuss zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und komfortabel und die zentrale Lage ermöglicht es, die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bequem zu erreichen. Für Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen, empfiehlt es sich, vorab beim Hotel nach Parkmöglichkeiten zu fragen. Es stehen wenige kostenpflichtige Stellplätze zur Verfügung (ab ca. 20 € pro Tag und Saison), vielleicht haben Sie Glück und es sind welche vorhanden? Man kann auch auf die umliegenden Parkhäuser bzw. privaten Anbieter (z.B. Tankstellen) ausweichen. Wir hatten dies bei unserer Anreise nicht gewusst und parkten daher im nahegelegenen Parkhaus Lumbi (ca. 9 Gehminuten)... mit wenig Gepäck ist es durchaus eine machbare Alternative

Nichts, wir waren rundum zufrieden. Lediglich die Parksituation in Taormina ist etwas herausfordernd, was jedoch nicht dem Hotel anzulasten ist, sondern der besonderen Lage der Stadt geschuldet ist.

Las vistas de la habitación son excelentes. El tamaño perfecto, con terraza para disfrutar de las vistas. Tiene también un escritorio y un pequeño estar. Aire acondicionado funciona perfecto El desayuno es básico pero suficiente.

El acceso es un poco incomodo para personas mayores ya que debes llegar caminando.

Gust Room is small overlooking the sea but close to road which is some how noisy breakfast is in a very small breakfast room Hotel is supposed to be 4 stars rated, however it doesn't worth this rating

The location was great! Walking distance to the center of Taormina. Our room was very nice and very clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

The wifi was not working in our room. We could not sleep because of the noise of the cars and motorcycles. The front desk said basically to bad you stuck with the room

Booked this super last minute the day before, but it was perfect! Less than 5 minute walk into town but just far enough out that it was quiet. The view was beautiful and the rooms were very nice too.

The problem is that we ended up getting a different suite than the one we booked. We first were told that we were upgraded to a Family room, only to discover it did not have the sea view we expected, but instead had street noise and old-fashioned bathrooms. When we enquired at the reception to get our original room, they shared that the room we booked had "plumbing problems", hence why we were assigned this other room. In exchange they provided free breakfast and drinks at the bar, which was nice.

Aside from the missing sea view (replaced by a direct view of the hotel bar), the noise from the street, we also found the room very dark, with only small bay windows for a large room. It felt like living in a cave. The mosquitos also are the true owners of this place, they feasted on us during the 48h we stayed there. The quality of the toiletries, the mattresses, the size of the shower, the towels... it all just feels like it was a great place to stay in the 80s... not anymore. Especially not for the several hundreds they charged per night.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in need of renovation. It feels more like a three-star hotel than a four-star one.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was ideal and only meters from the centre.

My room was directly under the kitchen, so the banging went on until 1 am. The room was also beside the cleaners store' room, so it was pretty noisy from early in the morning too.

It’s located right next to a main road, so it’s quite noisy even at night. Also, the light switch by the bed made a buzzing electrical noise. Luckily, I had earplugs with me, otherwise, it would have been very difficult to fall asleep.

Non adatta a persone con difficoltà motorie: gradone per accedere la bagno alto e difficile, doccia walk-in senza maniglie o sedia per aiuto . Accesso dalla strada difficile senza intralciare il traffico o i passanti! Se nn si hanno servizi adatti, non bisogna indicare che la struttura è adatta anche a persone disabili! Molto grave

Good location. Very nice, spacious room and very clean. Comfy bed with double pillows, awesome. Ours was a short 2 night stay so we opted for fresh towels daily but they would have redone the room had was wanted.

With the Hotel, nothing really. Public carpark nearby is a challenge getting a park.

Non può essere un 4 stelle! Purtroppo la mia esperienza non è stata positiva. Le condizioni reali della struttura non corrispondono pienamente a quanto mostrato nelle fotografie presenti online, che restituiscono solo una visione parziale degli ambienti. L’edificio appare datato e rovinato e necessita di interventi di manutenzione. La posizione, inoltre, è penalizzata dalla presenza di due strade molto trafficate sui lati della struttura. Gli infissi non garantiscono un adeguato isolamento acustico e il rumore esterno è percepibile anche durante le ore notturne. Ascensore esterno vecchio e sporco. Ho riscontrato anche alcune criticità legate alla sicurezza e al comfort. Le porte delle camere risultano poco solide, con evidenti spifferi e una chiusura che non trasmette particolare affidabilità. Nel complesso si percepisce una carenza di attenzione agli aspetti legati alla sicurezza degli ospiti. Considerato il rapporto tra aspettative e realtà, ritengo che la struttura necessiti di un importante aggiornamento sia sotto il profilo manutentivo sia sotto quello dell’accoglienza e del comfort.

Le buffet du petit-déjeuner et la gentillesse de la personne présente en salle . La situation de l'hôtel avec les accès très faciles

Nous avons eu une chambre qui mérite largement d'être rafraîchie dans l'annexe de l'hôtel et surtout où il est possible de dormir uniquement entre minuit et six heure du matin parce qu'elle se situe juste au bord de la route principale et que la fenêtre haute de la salle de bain n'est pourvue que d'un simple vitrage et qui de toute façon doit rester ouverte parce qu'il n'y a pas de ventilation mécanique...

Ottimo hotel, posizionato molto bene a pochi passi dal centro di Taormina. La responsabile di reception è stata gentilissima e abbiamo avuto un upgrade della camera con vista sul mare. Pultissimo e colazione ottima

Locatia perfecta, extrem de accesibila, la 2 minute de atractiile principale si strazile centrale.

wunderschöne Aussicht, doch zu viel Lärm durch Strassenverkehr, am Tag ist s ummöglich am Ballkon zu sitzen, ist genau über der Hauptstrasse .. in der Nacht, auch bei geschlossenen Türen und Fenstern hört man den Verkehr immer noch.. sind daher 1 Tag früher abgereist.. sonst o.k

Dejlig beliggenhed. Serviceminded personale. Godt værelse med smuk udsigt. Restauranten der ligger på hotellet var rigtig god med det sødeste personale vi har mødt på vores rejse i sicilien. Værelset var rent og behageligt, med rigtig dyne og flere puder.

Der var meget lydt desværre. Man kunne høre folk fra gaden og overboen meget.

Rigtig stor godt værelse med stor altan men hotellet står ved vejen med konstant trafik og larm. Elkedel på værelset. Fin stor badeværelse. Rigtig god seng og madras.
