Great resort. Lovely grounds, bungalows well arranged so it felt private. Two pools, one of which is kid-free. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Schönes Hotel direkt am Meer. Frühstücks Angebot nicht gewaltig aber reicht aus und Qualität ist gut.

Da die Anlage ist nicht sehr GROß, aber genau deswegen lieben wir es dort. Wir werden wieder kommen.

We loved the location, service, sea views and common areas of this property. Even though there isn’t a beach to relax on, chairs and tables along the shoreline allow beautiful and relaxing views, especially at sunset. You can sit by the pool, in the gardens, or on the bar deck next to the shore. Easy walk to a few shops, bars and restaurants. Pleasant breakfast too.

One of the best hotels on Koh Chang. Everything new and perfect. The breakfast could be slightly better and the last hour they not adding anything, so they just have empty plates there for long time...not too good to have it this way.. but I don’t care much.. the rooms are perfect, the pool is amaising, it all looks like a little paradise there.. everything is eco-wood stile.. nicely done. and I know what I am talking about. I stayed in 4 different 4 stars hotels in Koh Chang and I work as a real estate agent. I know how and what should it look like and not just telling it’s good because I had a good time there.. it is good compare to other hotels in the same price range and definitely worth it if you thinking between this one or to save like $20-30 per night and go with a little cheaper option because you found also 4 stars and also looks okey.. my opinion - don’t be cheap.. worth it. Good hotel.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war leider ausbaufähig. Wir hatten bspw. die Unterkunft mit seitlichem Meerblick, wobei der Meerblick durch andere Hütten voll und ganz versperrt war. Die Unterkunft war z.T. sehr abgewohnt und wir hatten dauernd Probleme mit der elektronischen Tür, sodass mehrmals das Personal kommen musste. Ansonsten ist die Anlage an sich sehr groß und auch gut gepflegt und macht auch sonst einen guten Eindruck. Die zwei Damen an der Rezeption muss man hier hervorheben und machen einen super Job. Das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, aber in Ordnung. Der Pool (Bild) ist wirklich schön und auch mit den Bergen und dem Dschungel im Hintergrund ein richtiger Hingucker

We enjoyed a relaxing week at Gajapuri. Loved the “adults only” pool and that there were always sun loungers available; although, one day some loud kids were in there, not sure how enforced the 16 and over only rule is. Also enjoyed the swings down at the beach. We thought breakfast was above average as far as typical Thailand Hotel breakfasts go. The room was lovely as well with a very comfy bed. Only complaint would be that there was a bit of water damage around the shower area but I imagine this is a fact of life In Koh Chang’s climate. The best part about Gajapuri was definitely the peace and quiet and the general vibe of tranquility throughout the property. Hope to stay again in the future!

En fantastisk hotel og smuk oase. Super morgenmad og service generelt, dog undtaget deres restaurant/bar. Virkelig langsom service og maden er horribel dyr kontra hvad du får. 220 baht for en Kad Pra Kao med ca. 30 gr. kylling. Det er synd fordi maden smager faktisk godt, men det prisleje gør bare at du dropper at spise der. Samtidig også irriterende når der ikke er andre muligheder ved poolen. De skal også lege strandbar, så man kan vente 15 min på 2 cocktails til 450 bath selvom der ingen gæster er ellers, og det er de dårligste pina coladas jeg i mit liv har fået. Så solnedgangen må man også ud og finde hos naboerne. Vi havde en fantastisk japansk middag første aften. Den var virkelig god og helt fair til 850 baht med alt du kunne spise af sushi og andre lækkerier. Vi forlængede så vores ophold med 1 nat på dette smukke sted. Bungalowen var perfekt. Dette gjorde vi efter 1. dag og de sagde den var ledig. Alt var skønt men på dagen prøvede de og flytte og sagde der var booket nogen andre fra deres Bangkok kontor. Det nægtede vi selvfølgelig da de havde solgt os det og forlænget vores værelsesnøgle med 1 nat. Det må ikke ske. Så føler man sig ikke særlig påskønnet. Få styr på restaurant, priser og bar. Ansæt en bartender og fix de småting. Så kommer vi tilbage igen og igen :) Tak ellers for god behandling og skønt ophold i et hyggeligt område i Koh Chang.

The setting of the hotel is stunning there is a fabulous view of the mountains in one direction and the ocean in the other. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms and grounds are well maintained. Breakfast is well organised and there is a wide selection that caters for all tastes. Fabulous !!

Liebevoll gestaltete Anlage, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, angemessene Preise in der Bar. Einziges Manko: Meer eignet sich nicht zum schwimmen , leider ist die Bucht sehr steinig.

Well maintained property and very kind staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was super big and comfy. Easy access to the beach and two beautifully pools. Location on the island is perfect.

This was my own little paradise! I got the beach front and had to force myself to go out;) the surroundings are so beatifull and authentic styled at this resort. Multiple restaurant choices at your front door and a peacefull beach in the back;)

因可能預計到象島既情況，所以酒店真係好有渡假feel,很親親大自然既感覺，每位員工笑容很好很友善，早餐雖然種類不多，但全部都好食，下次來都會住反啲間酒店

Great stay. Lovely hotel. Breakfast tasty and different every day. Spent a week and would go again. Check in easy. Staff helped me arrange transportation back to Bangkok. Loved the koi ponds.

Fabulous stay at Gajapuri. Best thing was the pool. It’s Long enough to swim lengths and is always empty. No problem therefore securing a comfy sunbed. Really friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend staying.

Fantastic resort. Very authentic and comfortable. Beautiful pools and restaurants on the beach. My place opened up to the beach. Bungalow is spacious, clean and just lovely. The grounds are beautiful. Did I say that you can get an amazing 2 hour massage on the beach for about $30. Included breakfast was amazing. There are fancier places around but none that are uniquely Thai with all the western comforts. I would definitely stay here again without question.

Lækkert hotel, sødt personale, restauranten god og morgenmadsbuffeten fremragende. Standen på fællesområder, f.eks. træværket er slidt med søm der stikker op, og træsplinter. Der var ikke nok solstole på GajaLanai stranden og stranden er i det hele taget ikke det man drømmer om. GajaLanai bungalowen var i god stand og lækker.

Teuer. Ideal für luxuriöse Entspannung. Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Gute Lage.

Nice to stay and nice staff

We really loved our Deluxe Lanai with adult only pool. Also enjoyed the restaurant and cocktails by the beach watching amazing sunsets.

Nydelig sted med to flotte bassenger. Ligger midt i Kai Bae, men er allikevel meget skjermet fra omgivelsene i det man går gjennom porten. Veldig gjennomført regnskog-tømmerbungalow tema.

Good little quiet resort and spa. Not much of a beach. Natural feel to the hotel. Better value to be had from other resorts locally. Children aren't allowed in half the resort and not in the bigger of the two pools

Gajapuri is een prima hotel! Het heeft een fantastisch zwembad wat alleen voor volwassenen bestemd is, daarnaast heet het ook een 2de zwembad waar iedereen terecht kan. Het hotel is gelegen aan een prachtig stukje strand, en heeft ook een vrij goede ligging in het dorpje waar alles op wandelafstand bereikbaar is. De kamer zijn prima en de service en vriendelijkheid van het personeel is top! Enig minpuntje is het beperkt en tamelijk sober ontbijt, maar dit hotel is zeker een aanrader!

Redelijk resort, geen Europese 4*, maar vergeleken met Aziatische verblijven wel OK, aan de prijzige kant. Vriendelijk personeel, goede verzorging, prima bedden en airco.

Vi boede på Gajapuri i 6 nætter. Personalet var søde og venlige. Rar og afslappet atmosfære - roligt hotel uden larm og støj. Lækker stor pool, rigeligt med liggestole, god morgenmad. God beliggenhed for ture rundt på øen.

Sehr gemütliche und stilvoll eingerichtete Bungalows inmitten eines schön angelegten tropischen Gartens. Riesige Betten, große Bäder, WLAN und Klimaanlage: was will man mehr?! Hervorragendes Frühstücksbüffet mit großer europäischer und thailändischer Auswahl. Und vor allem sehr freundliches Personal, welches man auf der Insel immer seltener findet.

Great hotel, take seaview or partial.

Only negative was Sea was not swimmable during low tides due to rocky bottom. But huge, clean pool makes up for that, and better yet, children under 16 are not allowed at this pool so no screaming and hollering, peaceful. There is separate pool for kids.

A lovely hotel with great staffs and nearby restaurants. The only disappointment was the beach front which isn't exactly ideal for swim.

This was our first hotel on our holiday and it was the most relaxing and beautiful place to begin. The staff were wonderful, from the moment they met us ato the taxi door to saying goodbye. I don't normally submit reviews and I'm hesitant now because I'd like to keep this one to ourselves! The location, lush gardens, wonderful pool, beach swings, just everything was perfect, the food and drink and room service so cheap we were able to enjoy it without any additional costs. As a single parent it was great to be able to enjoy without worrying about the budget for once! The location was perfect and we were able to wander along the road trying out a different restaurant every night. Already planning our return trip next year!!

We stayed at Gajapuri for just under two weeks. It's an amazing place and the staff are fantastic! We will definitely be going again.

Lovely surroundings and comfortable cabin. close to restaurants, taxis easy to get you to different parts of the island.

Beach too rocky to swim but pool more than made up for it. Relaxing, peaceful resort.
