The hotel is located right next to the Robinsons Mall, which is very convenient in case you need to purchase anything (clothes, supplies, food, etc.). There is also plenty of shared parking at the property. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

Facilities are a bit dated, and it was quite hot in the lobby and hallways. The bed was spacious and comfortable, but the room was a bit cramped and dim, and no chair was provided for the folding desk. My room had a window facing the interior hallway, which should have been fine, but the curtain was too short so anyone could peek inside to see me - I was really concerned for my privacy. :( The breakfast was also delivered an hour later than requested.

The location is great, right next to the mall and not far from the airport.

We booked this accommodation because of the affordable price and the very good reviews. Unfortunately, we couldn’t understand the positive reviews based on our experience. The rooms were extremely small, and as a foreigner, I had barely enough space to sit properly on the toilet. The photos also give the impression that the rooms have windows. While that is technically true, the windows only face the hallway and do not provide any view or natural light from outside. The rooms were also quite dirty. The floor in particular was not clean, and when we entered the room, we were immediately greeted by a few small cockroaches. Overall, the rooms also felt rather run-down, with damaged walls and other signs of wear and tear. The air conditioning did not work properly either. In our room, the AC could barely cool the small room, even when set to the lowest temperature. In our friends’ room, it was exactly the opposite. Their room was freezing cold regardless of how they adjusted the AC.

We stayed at GO Hotels Tacloban, which is conveniently connected to Robinsons Mall and only about 3 minutes away from ACE Hospital. There are also several banks and restaurants around the vicinity, making the location very practical. The rooms are not the biggest, but the double bed is a good size and comfortable enough for two people. There was no storage space for luggage, and the area around the bed was quite tight, but honestly, it was not too bad, especially for a short 2-night stay. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, although some of the bathroom fixtures could use a bit of maintenance. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good.

Apart from the room size, everything else was good.

The only good thing about this hotel, is the location. Close to the airport, and Robinson's Mall right next door.

Arrived at 2pm for check in. Our room was not ready. 2:20pm, finally in our room. Room was tiny, very dark and dingy bathroom. Mould in the shower, dirty floors. No towels. Reception told us towels will be delivered at 6pm. 9pm, still no towels. Had to ask Reception to send us some towels. 9:15pm, finally had towels. We had a 12pm check out, but checked out as soon as we could. We will not be returning.

The check-in process was relatively easy and I was greeted by their professional staff. The room was pretty easy to find since it was the last room at the back side of the hotel, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were of adequate support for my neck.

Minor gripe I had about the room is that the bidet got stuck on full when I used it and the drainage is a bit lackluster, it didn't drain properly even after leaving it for a few hours. The lights were bright enough but a bit dull for my needs.

The AC is not working properly even if the technician already went. All night we were drenched in sweat. The AC and remote read 18C but I surely know it’s more than 24C. I followed up twice about the towels but until we leave there were none given to us. The breakfast delivered was incomplete, no utensils and coffee which I ordered. I had to call just to follow up.

I had a pleasant stay overall, and I would especially like to commend the staff, they were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. Their service truly stood out.

I do feel there is room for improvement when it comes to the bathroom facilities. During my stay, I experienced an issue with the toilet not flushing properly, which was quite inconvenient. On one occasion, the water backed up, which was unfortunately unpleasant. It was also a bit uncomfortable having to request assistance for this. I hope this can be looked into, as improving the maintenance of the toilets and the faucet by the sink would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. With such excellent staff, addressing this issue would make the stay even better.

Areas around the entire floor where one can get their steps in. Hotel is right next to Robinsons Mall. Front Desk, Security and Housekeeping Staff are accomodating and doing their job thoroughly.

The room is tiny. The bed is a foot away from the door.

The staff are all amazing. Nothing was too much hassle, everything was done with a smile. The location is also perfect for the Robinson's mall and the depot. And not one cockroach seen. The AC are all the proper ACs, not the loud boxes. A tip is putting the AC on dry.

The rooms all need a big renovation and the owners need to have a think about solving the moisture problem, because the hallways are open by design. The first room we were in had water damage and black mold on the ceiling and bathroom , the second room had mold in the bathroom, and the AC dripped constantly. The third room was nice and clean but had issues with the key card daily. I felt sorry for bothering the staff all the time.

The rooms were smaller than expected. The first room assigned to me had the aircon not cold, and the toilet was chocked. Room replacement was offered, but it was next to the linen closet, and staff were there during lull times, and I could hear their noises. If you're a light sleeper, you can't rest.

Minimale Grösse der Zimmer Unser Zimmer war im Innengang gelegen. Das heisst ein kleines Fenster zum Korridor. Kaum Platz zum sich drehen im Zimmer. Mit Koffer eine Herausforderung. Für den Preis gibt es bessere Alternativen
