Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The hotel is in a prime location. I stayed here a year ago and returned again this year. The rooms have been renovated and feature crisp white bedding; everything is clean and tidy. The front desk staff are welcoming, and the rates are exceptionally low. It offers great value for money, and I recommend everyone come and experience it.
Quietness
No delivery on the restaurant food
Very dated but clean

Overall great place to rest after a lengthy drive.
Nothing
Clean and the breakfast was great
The room had a smell but was clean
We have stayed at this accommodations many times in route to northern Alberta and B.C. Staff are good.rooms are ok, a little dated but adequate for us.
Rooms are ok, lighting could be a little better in some of the rooms we have stayed in.....
We need 2 beds so they gave us with 2 rooms on the 2nd floor that also had a kitchen with dishes etc. That was great.
All was good.
Clean, quiet

Bathrooms were not clean , weird colour soap in dispenser in bathroom , bar right by the hotel was blaring music and pounding walls till 2 am
Good service nice and clean

It's all good
Staff
The room smells really bad and I didn't expect the facility to be too old.
Average stay, breakfast was good. Lots of light in parking lot. Will stay again , reasonable price
Bathroom was very small, beds where old and tired,
The room was clean and comfortable. The food was very good, staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.
The only issue we had was the restaurant and office wasn't open according to the times listed.
Laundry
Swipe key cards
Wasn't a horrible experience. Staff was friendly and efficient, just room had some issues. Old bed, dirty AC, leaky shower, decor needs updating as does the doors
Run down hotel.
The room is direct access from outside which I really like, makes unloading easier. There's a table and chairs for eating which is nice and another chair for watching TV. Shower pressure is very good. The rooms are old so of course it won't look brand new but it was clean.
The bed wasn't very comfortable and like other reviews mentioned there's definitely an odor of mildew or something in the room. Not a huge deal for me but I could see how people sensitive to smells wouldn't like it.
Everything is so nice and clean. Staff is so good, we enjoyed our stay.
Our room wasn’t terribly bad dirty wise, but the smell of smoke was horrible. My brother slept there as well. Their room was also not clean and smelled horrible like smoke as well and it’s supposed to be a non-smoking rooms.
The room was very clean and I slept very well on the bed. I recommend staying here if you don't require a fancy place to stay. Had a mini fridge that worked to freeze my ice packs. Excellent water pressure in the shower. The owner was very nice and took time to talk.
It was very good for the price. I am sure many people would complain that it is outdated, but that did not bother me. I had a great sleep and appreciated the cleanliness.
Good

Nice
The beds were very comfortable The shower had soap and shampoo on the wall The the motel had a restaurant there
Everything is old. The room reeked of old smoke. They have moved more rooms to nonsmoking but….. The carpeting was gross, with cigarette burns and wear and tear. The bathroom was somewhat the same.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location near bus stop to Edmonton and food places. Cheapest place to stay in whitecourt, was comfortable. Mostly clean
The room did smell a bit musty, not cigarettes but just old. Was clean to look at but after opening some cupboards etc and one of the fridges was a huge spill inside obviously not been cleaned in a long time. Other than that was clean
Convenient
Carpets stained
location
dirty and smelly
The staff were helpful and friendly when I came to a few situations that happened
Some of the drug activity people
Great location, ample parking, the room was very big. I wasn't expecting to even have a couch in my room.
The wifi was terrible. My key card didn't work. Every time I left my room a staff member had to come unlock my room to get back in.
The staff was understanding at the property we did not stay there it was gross dirty and nothing like the pictures
Everything except the staff it was disgusting
Quiet place
There isn't a restaurant or kitchen attached to the facility.
The staff were nice, very friendly and accommodating
No shampoo or boast wash was provided. The coffee maker together with the cups and coffee packets are placed on top of the microwave which is a small area, dangerous when you have small kids staying in the room.
The place was clean and the lady behind the desk was very nice and suggested a few places for us to see while in town
Price
Restaurant and beds too small
Beds and pillows were comfortable. Upon checkin for 3 rooms, 1 room reservation was not found. They did manage to find a last minute room, even though our Expedia confirmation showed the 3 rooms. Front desk called later and said it was a booking error. No, the booking was fine. It was a hotel error. It worked out in the end, but certainly one in our group could have been left with nowhere to sleep. Thankfully that didn’t happen!!
I had a great stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—exactly what I needed for a relaxing trip. Staff were courteous and check-in was smooth. I'd definitely stay here again.
It was very spacious!
The key didnt work so se did not get keys at all!
Looks good on the outside, location.
Door lock malfunctioning, worn out furniture, musty smelling, along with the smell of weed and dirty bed linen.
The price
Nothing
The smoke alarm was missing, the room smelled like years of cigarette smoke.
It's basically a good place for a rest stop. It's clean and conveniently located if you need to go to Whitecourt, has plenty of restaurants nearby including one on site if you need a meal or a drink to relax and the in-room features are just what anyone needs without anything fancy. Water pressure in the showers are fine. I've stayed there 3-4 times in the last few months.
This has nothing to do with the motel but more about the nature of the majority of the clientele. Since Whitecourt is a spot that houses a lot of out of town oil workers, a lot of them live for weeks or months at a time at the motel. It also means that a lot of them start their day really early, so you can hear trucks start up and people getting ready to work as early as 5am. If you're hoping to sleep in, this may not be a good choice if you're a light sleeper.
The rooms were cheap and clean. Nothing new or special but it's what you'd expect from a hotel charging ~$130 for 2 nights. Beds were comfortable.
The wifi had connection issues. Also the soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower were strange and did not add to the feel of being cozy. The complimentary breakfast was a simple sandwich (nothing else, not even a drink) and the staff preparing it was rather abrupt and rude when I asked about other options and she said no. The kitchen staff also were just wearing their outside clothes while in the kitchen so hygiene didn't seem to matter much to the kitchen staff.
The rooms were very spacious clean. There was a restaurant on site as well as a bar, and the staff was
Low price easy to book Front desk friendly..
Great staff . Clean room
It was nice to have space for our whole family.
The noise at the pub on a Friday night was very loud.
The room I booked was not available There were no other kitchenettes available The room I booked has not been available for two months I ended up finding somewhere else to stay
Clean and good price
Nice free breakfast; kind receptionist; try to get 2nd flr suite as ground floor sometimes noisy
Simple, clean, with the normal necessities.
The fact that we could park right in front of our hotel door. The kitchenette made it so convenient and saved us so much money because we didn't have to eat out. The only problem I had was that I like to take baths and they're wasn't a plug for the bathtub
OK place for the money. Parking is good. Some plug ins for your vehicle don't work..... need to maybe move to a different spot. Coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. all in the room.... for me these are very important. I want COFFEE WHEN I WAKE UP. Lots of junk food close by..... A & W, etc. PLUS.... imagine this.... cold beer for sale in the lobby when you check in HA HA HA.
nothing
Really good staff very professional and friendly. Room is just an average room, but for the price an excellent deal. Only motel I’ve ever seen in my life that has cold beer for sale in the lobby when you check in to rent a room !! Serious comedy !
It’s clean
There hospitality
Did not try the breakfast. Was able to park right in front of my door, which was super nice. Coffee maker, fridge, and microwave all of which were Nice. Good price for the room.
Really crappy television channels. The weather network only for Montreal Quebec… 🤣Half the channels were in French or Spanish. No decent news channels like CNN or BNN Bloomberg- just garbage.. went to plug my vehicle in for the night, and there was no power at the outlet. Not impressed. Room was kind of rundown looking, but the bed was comfortable.
I liked the location, nice room, but a broken lamp which was not replaced after I took to the office, as well as having to re-charge the card keys about 6 times as they didn't work. Other than that, I lijed my stay.
The family suite was excellent value.
