Days Inn by Wyndham Whitecourt

I liked the location and the staff were kind tried their best! Decent accommodation in a pinch if you dont have animal allergies!

Pillows were awful, and the noise from animals was way too much for me to choose it first again. I will use this as an economical back up..id rather pay more to have no animal noise. This place is overrun with animals, barking, huge dogs with kids controlling the leash! I have allergies so Id rather not have your dog in my face! The staff tries really hard but they need to have an animal area...im on holidays and when i booked i made them aware of my allergies...i was put beside 2 large dogs...they moved them but still...how about a specific animal area????

Breakfast and location

Very disappointed, room was smell like drugs, no toiletries no hand soap’s iron was not working

Location is great. The motel it self is great. Great free breakfast and very quiet.

Nothing really there was a mix up with house keeping they cleaned out room but no towels or hand soap by the gentleman at the the check-in counter got things all good actually quite fast

Clean, quiet & comfortable. Great value for your money & a very nice full breakfast as well. Front desk staff are very courteous & helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Whitecourt.

Some were broken and they didn’t refill the tissue and didn’t remove the garbage

The room size was good, mini fridge came in handy, nice and quiet.

The bed was way too hard, limited what you can watch on the TV, no cream cheese for the bagels, we left a day earlier because of the bed.

charged for a dispute that was very suspect for the individual that was claimed to had the incident

Fridge was disgusting. First room smelled of cigarette smoke so we asked to move rooms. Second room was just not very clean. Pay a little more for a more relaxing and fresh hotel.

Decent selection

Waffle iron was terrible for the person before me, ( I cleaned their mess. I greased the iron and had the same problem but cleaned my own mess. The guy behind also greased the iron and had the same issue.

Was convenient location for our stay

There was always trouble with the room keys: and our rooms were not cleaned during our stay! Breakfast was very stingy

Traveling last minute with cash and didn’t have enough for. Damage deposit so she wouldn’t let us stay. We don’t have a credit card .

Value for money, easy to get to, close to main highway and other facilities. Had a nice smell unlike one of the other motels we stayed at in Whitecourt.

door locks very tempermental both times we stayed there which is frustrating. Breakfast this time wasn’t as good as on first stay. Wasn’t as warm and the waffle batter was very thin and even though I sprayed the waffle maker very well with the spray, both waffles stuck and pulled in half.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast was a bonus! Great if you are traveling with children. Its near the Aquatic Center, Sports Arena, A&W, DQ, Tim Hortons, McD's, right next the Roadhouse Restaurant, etc.

Cant think of anything other than my stay wasn't long enough.

Excellent value, good options, was there for a hunting trip and breakfast ready early am! Also, don’t recall requesting quiet room but it was excellent

I cancelled my room at the hotel, due to the fact that there was a stripped-down caravan with parts all over the front door area. This looked like some drug den! There was no room to even park to get inside the lobby. Once I went inside to see if people were doing drugs or if it was just a rat hole, there was NOBODY at the lobby. I rang the bell and waited for 10 minutes to cancel my room, as I was not staying in this hotel and leaving my car there. I called 5 times, no answer! I cancelled and went back later on, after I got another decent hotel. The manager and his son said they would cancel my booking fully! I got charged anyway!! I had to contact them several times to finally get my refund. Sketchy hotel!

There was no shower curtain and the bathroom door is sticky.

Staff was great room was clean. the only problem I have with hotels is the coffee.

It’s very rundown and in need of upgrades. There were socks, left behind the blinds and a face cloth in the bathroom that were used and not cleaned. Breakfast ended too early.

Older place

I really like the front desk clerk when we came in, check in was fast and convenient. We slept great, the beds were very comfortable. The rooms, the dining area and outside in the parking lot was gross, there was hair everywhere in the bathroom and it looked like no one had ever wiped the baseboards or the corners. The dining area was very yucky, very small space and they were making food to serve in the microwave and sink we were also able to use. (Breakfast was good) there were weeds everywhere in the parking lot, and there were just wires and random poles and boxes just everywhere around the hotel. Lastly… the smell!!!! It smelled so weird in our room, almost like someone had smoked and then sprayed bleach… and when we woke up the ENTIRE HOTEL smelled like curry!!!

There was absolutely nothing to like about this hotel

We didn't like anything about this place. There was a funny smell; they had no plugs for the bath tub; when we went for breakfast at 9 am, they had absolutely nothing left and they still had an hour and a half until breakfast was over; I had cut my hand on their rail and they didn't have a bandaid for me, and there was no elevator to get to the second floor

It’s a cheap hotel, you get what you pay for. Rooms were old and had a musty smell to them. Staff were good property conditions were fine.

Always a good place to stay when passing through. Great beds no matter what room you get. Good breakfast, Great staff.

NO ELEVATOR!!!!! So naturally we were upstairs. it is old and musty. I would recommend anywhere else. The comforters are very lumpy/clumpy. The room smelled of old cigarettes. I don't think that smell ever really goes away. Parking can be tight if you are towing anything.

The breakfast was decent and lots of choice. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The check in front desk person was extremely friendly, he is a credit to the hotel.

The room wasn't the cleanest. Stains on the carpet and the sink faucets looked all rotten with limescale.
