Hotel Denim is a very comfortable and convenient place to stay when visiting Greensboro. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft and cozy. The A.C. was quiet and cold. I checked in very late and night and found the parking lot well lit and close to the front door. The person at the desk was friendly and got me checked into my room quickly. The shower was roomy and had plenty of water pressure. There is an espresso machine in the room and it made tasty espresso. Plenty of space even though I was in the smallest king room. Night stands on bot sides of the bed. My refrigerator was not cooling properly and when I told the front desk, it was replaced immediately. The black out curtains worked well. I will definitely stay here again!

None of these things will keep me from coming back, but just good things to know. The "breakfast" is coffee, muffins, bagels. The room has plenty of space for your suitcase, place to hang your clothes and a clothes steamer, but there was not a set of drawers to unpack. The refrigerator is small and doesn't have a freezer. I could hear people in the rooms next door and people were up late at night so if you are a light sleeper, you may need to request the top floor and a room at the end.

Air conditioner was inadequate and inaccurate. Said it was 70 when pirates read was 74. Water pressure was low when trying to take a shower in the evening. The next morning nothing but a trickle came out of the shower and bathroom faucet. Ended up being no water at all, and could not even flush the toilet or brush our teeth. When the water pressure came back up a bit, the water was nasty brown.

Climate control in room was inconsistent. Got cold then hot. Shower head / water pressure was not good.

It was very clean. I am disable. I had much space.

The breakfast area could have been a little bigger, but again it was fine. So it like, I'm searching for something to find wrong. We stay there one night and again. I didn't have a complaint.

The staff was super friendly, the room was very clean. They give you a poker chip to use for a beer or class of wine at the bar.

The shower had hardly any water pressure. It was more of a trickle. The tv also had no streaming services, only basic cable channels.

This was the best smelling hotel i have ever been it. Also the denim robes are clutch. Highly recommend this for date night.

Bed was way too soft. Water pressure was awful in the bathroom. The room itself was clean at a glance, but closer inspection revealed sloppy practices. Sticky floors, bathroom vent was covered in dust, corners of walls caked in dust, crumbs, hair, etc.

The property was centrally located. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cute vibe in lobby, with pretty colors and fun, eclectic decor, nicely remodeled, plenty of parking, comfortable bed, nice high end bath products

Shower door leaked badly, tons of pooling water after use; bedside light did not work; front desk staffer with an attitude, key card confusion. Check in is 3pm, yet when we arrived at 530pm, TWO of our 3 rooms were not ready. Our evening plans were time-sensitive and we needed access to those rooms, fully expecting they'd be ready by the time we arrived. The desk guy offered a weak apology, an indifferent shrug of the shoulders, and an "I'm short-staffed" excuse when we expressed how displeased we were. He seemed irritated that we were irritated? which is totally unacceptable. Had he been a bit more friendly and simply preempted the news of the delay with a more believable apology and maybe an offer to compensate us somehow, I would've been perfectly understanding and happy to accommodate. But being short and dismissive about it to us from the start was very off-putting. Failure to have 2 of 3 rooms ready for guests *7 1/2* hours after checkout is not the customer's fault. He assured me he'd left a note in the record about the issue but, no mention of any comp was forthcoming then or the day after when we checked out. (Side observation was that his annoyance with us then seemed to carry over into his demeanor in dealing with other guests who were calling in for reservations.) All of this to say, it seems that better consideration should be given to personality and attitude when staffing a high visibility position such as the front desk. When rooms were finally ready (~25 min wait) we were issued 4 key cards for our 2 rooms, none of which worked, so housekeeping staff then had to get involved in letting us in to our rooms while the front desk reissued all 4 cards. The upshot of all of this is: I paid for a total of 3 rooms for a ONE night stay -- a bill in excess of 400 dollars -- but the customer service did not reflect that investment.

Bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when moving on it. When we checked in the employee was in sweatpants and a hoodie and looked as if she had been beat. Had a black eye and covered in bruises and kept the hood over her head. Checking out was a hassle and didn’t know I paid my security deposit in cash bc the card reader wasn’t working properly. Definitely would not return for a second stay

The hotel was wonderful, clean inside, and beautiful! It is conveniently located to everything.

The location was kind of sketchy with a lot of construction work and trash everywhere.

I loved the thoughtful touches like the poker chip for a complimentary drink, the denim robes and the personal nature of the staff.

Hotel shows some age. Nothing too bad, just some painting and maintenance could be done. The shower door made a terrible noise when opening/closing. However, the room was extremely clean and greatly appreciate that!

Property is super cute boutique like hotel. Beds were comfortable and room was super clean. They offer 2 chips at check in you may redeem for a glass of wine or water bottle from the shop. Complimentary small water bottles were also provided in the room. I gave location a great and not excellent only because it was a little further from downtown than expected. GPS said 2 plus miles but it took about 9-10 minutes to get to the theater. No biggie, just wish a was a little more convenient to downtown. Breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about. Bagels and muffins, maybe cereal? Can’t remember. It isnt much but it is complimentary, so that was nice. More of a quick breakfast snack. I am not a big breakfast person so it was just fine for me! They do have coffee down there as well which was great!

The aesthetic and decor was well coordinated and modern. Vibes were immaculate. I loved all the effort that went in to all the small touches that truly fit the brand.

Bed, people, atmosphere were all well curated. People very nice especially Rebecca May and the nice boy from Florida. Despite being a remodeled hotel (1987 vintage) the interior has been updated well from a guest comfort perspective but also the creative embrace of the Greensboro community. Well done and thanks for having me for several nights this week. Highly recommend.

It was dirty, rusty and mold was in the bathroom. The sheets on the bed was so thin. We checked in and within two hours checked out. The reviews and ratings are not honest

We loved the location that was about it.

There was a live cockroach in my employees room. The pillows were horrible...so flat. Dust on shelves in bathroom. No water pressure at all in sink

Everything was clean, staff were friendly and it smelled so good in the whole hotel!

The only negative thing I have to say was it was not a new toilet paper roll in the bathroom. It was used from previous guest, leaving us a little bit on the roll.

Everything was great and it was convenient to lots of venues. Loved the robes and a few of the amenities that added an upscale feel, at a surprisingly low price.

The room wasn't ready until 6:30 pm. We had to rush to get ready and get to our event (10 minutes away) at 7 pm. The front desk clerk said our glasses of beer that we had while we waited were complimentary, yet our room was charged and there was a tip added to the total! We had already given the clerk a cash tip for taking care of us. That wasn't cool.

Breakfast was adequate for quick bite. A complimentary glass of wine (or beer) was an unexpected perk! Room was comfortable. Did not like the coffee that was in the room but downstairs it was good.

Some of the paint, decor was showing age/wear. There was a perfumey odor in the public area, including bar/breakfast area, that was way too strong. Was very unappealing and caused a headache for one guest in my party.

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and downtown.

The entrance is sort of awkwardly located but navigatable.

Cool spot. Boutique size. Conveniently located. Up to date furnishings. Easy check in. Bar was a nice surprise.
