I Loved everything about this hotel! The customer service was superb from the time you arrived to the time you departed. Everyone always greeted you with a smile. The food in the Bistro is delicious. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Will definitely be back.

There was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel.

Rooms were exceptionally well designed and outfitted. There was enough/thoughtful storage behind linen curtains so the room stayed calm & uncluttered. We had a full seating area for visiting family. Thumbs up.

Pool is smaller than it appeared in pics.

Not a fan of the boiled coffee in room. It doesn't taste as good as brewed coffee or even Keurig coffee.

Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect. Each of the hotel staff that we encountered were friendly and courteous. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Each floor has a central sitting area with ice, water, and a drink cooler. A morning coffee station is available in the lobby. The food and service at the Print Works Bistro restaurant and bar is equally amazing. I highly recommend that you consider the Proximity when visiting Greensboro!

Rehearsal dinner, dance and lodging. I could not ask for anything better, They so so over-performed. I would not even look elsewhere for any event. Food was amazing. It was a large group and still was amazing. Service was amazing, the venue was amazing the rooms were fabulous

A beautiful hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent views with two walls of windows in our room. Very quite. Room service took over an hour but I have to give them some grace as there was a weekend wedding going on. Still for the price of the room, the establishment should have a protocol to get overnight guests what they order in a reasonable time. The food in the restaurant was very good.

We’re Four Seasons-type travelers, and I have to say this hotel comes as close to that level of service as any hotel we’ve stayed in. Every member of the staff genuinely tries to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The bathrooms are among the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and the food at Print Works is absolutely delicious. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the warmth and attitude of everyone who works there—they make you feel right at home. A special thank you to Heather at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She made a wonderful first impression. I sincerely hope we can keep coming back to this hotel for many years to come!

Very Enjoyable Experience. Atmosphere, Service was impeccable. The Room we stayed in was wonderfully unique and was definitely done by a designer. There was no noise to be heard, cleanliness of room and common areas was very neat and proper. Would recommend a stay at the Proximity whenever you are visiting Greensboro. Also, the adjoining Restaurant, Print Works was a delight and would highly recommend.

We love the restaurant in the hotel. The menu options were plentiful and the staff was friendly and professional. The space itself has a very pleasant atmosphere. All in all, it was a lovely dining experience.

Can't think of anything to complain about!

Proximity is where we go for our annual short get away. The pool is fantastic (and empty most of the time). The staff is always friendly and helpful. Always a smile and a greeting. Rooms are pretty spacious, and the black out curtains work! For us, it’s worth the cost to have a peaceful getaway! Everything is very clean and peaceful. It’s also convenient to so many restaurants and activities!

Staff doubled charged me for the stay. After I explained the charges they refunded the money it wasn’t immediately released.

Love this hotel and will definitely return. Spacious, very clean room and I loved the large walk-in shower. Hotel towel quality is a big deal for me and these towels were very luxe. My room had a large, comfortable sitting area in which to relax or do some work. Each floor also has its own “living room” where you can get water, ice and limited sodas (on an honor system). I had dinner in the Print Works Bistro and it was great.

Let me begin by saying it was never my intention to stay at this hotel. I ended up here after a flight cancellation and only after a diligent search of several hotel chains, finding this hotel had one availability. After a long, exhausting travel day, I found every staff member I encountered to be accommodating, kind, and genuinely gracious. The room was inviting, the bed was comfortable, and the buildings and grounds were immaculate. The property offers plenty of opportunities to exercise, enjoy the pool, or relax in the living areas or, as I did, in the peaceful gardens. While the on‑site restaurant requires reservations, the food is outstanding, and the service matched it in quality.

Realistically it is on the pricey side but the experience and comfort is great if you just want a gorgeous hotel to louge around in your room and enjoy the hotel ammenities! Rooms/bathrooms are very spacious, quiet and comfortable. A great Getway spot surrounded by many eateries, shopping, entertainment and activities. The Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had Brunch at the Bistro on property and that was amazing as well.

I stayed at the Proximity for 5 nights. I've stayed in many hotels the last 30 years, and this experience was one of the very best. The attention to detail started even before I checked in. Everything went so smoothly. The staff is wonderful and inviting and welcoming. The rooms are big and comfortable. The bed was amazing! I slept fantastic every night. Everything was also quiet....no outside noise or noise from other rooms were heard. When you walked inside, it felt like you were in a spa-like cocoon. Also, the restaurant, Print Works, is fantastic! I ate there 3 nights. It also seems to be a local favorite and was crowded whenever I was there. I didn't get a chance to go to the gym or pool, but overheard others say they did and it had what they were looking for. I would highly recommend the Proximity Hotel to anyone. Next time, I might try their sister restaurant at the O. Henry hotel down the street. I heard they have a high tea that is great.

What a wonderful two days I had at the Proximity Hotel. The people were amazing. They all cared about my experience. How nice! The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The on site restaurant Print Works was AMAZING. AMAZING!!! The food and the service was top notch. The hotel was close enough to get to what I needed but also nicely tucked away is safe area. I really enjoyed my stay.

Upon arrival the staff is very welcoming and the front desk helpful and so friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful the rooms are spacious and very clean. They have a great restaurant there that is delicious and charming to eat in!

Room service was not a hit for many reasons during this stay.

Perfect and Pleasant was every staff member with attention to detail. Delightful manners and very helpful going beyond their duties. Thank you to all.

We really enjoyed the personalized service at Proximity. The rooms are modern and luxurious with well designed spaces. Printworks, the bar and restaurant are definitely a plus. Bathrooms are ultra clean and bright. Highly recommend.

Cozy beds, clean rooms, very nice front desk staff and manager. The room had a nice view.

I wish they had regular coffee makers instead of boiling your own coffee. It just doesn't taste as good. It could be the brand coffee though. Room service quality depends on who is working.

We requested a late check in and the staff at the reception desk was ready to great us and check us in upon arrival at midnight. The restaurant was great, food was delicious and the waitstaff very friendly and professional. We had breakfast and dinner there. Our room was spacious and we appreciated the amenities offered in the shared living space outside the room. No complaints!

Property was well maintained, clean and welcoming.

Parking was a challenge Saturday evening. There was an event at the location.

As always, great service in bar and restaurant. Staff is friendly and efficient. Amenities represent best of a LEED certified hotel. .

We were in the area visiting colleges with my teenage daughter and chose the Proximity Hotel for a one-night stay. It was a fantastic choice! The design is modern and unique and we loved all the details in our large room - the robes, Aveda bath products and hot water kettle for coffee in the morning. If we had known how great this hotel was we would have stayed another night. We enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Print Works Bistro before departing and can report that the beignets and avocado toast are delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in the area - it was a real treat!

If you need to be in Greensboro for any reason, stay here. Seriously. Stop looking, pay a little extra, and you won't be disappointed. I've traveled around the country a lot and this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The staff was kind and professional, the rooms are immaculate and well appointed, and the food in the restaurant was sublime. (I have years of fine dining experience, and this place blew my socks off.) Every little detail in this hotel is thought out, from the little coat racks built into the beams in the restaurant, to the aveda soaps and shampoos in your bathroom, to the bluetooth speaker systems built into the rooms, floor to ceiling windows, filtered water machines on each floor, gourmet teas and coffee in your room ... I could go on and on. I rarely write reviews, but I had to share how wonderful this place is. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Excellent from the moment we walked in and met the Manager. Super nice young man, who made us feel like we were long-lost friends. The world could use more people like him; we’d be so much better off. Maybe he should run for President.

We loved our stay at The Proximity hotel! Every employee that we encountered was warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is beautiful to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The attached restaurant has a charming atmosphere with delicious food. Our room was large and we joked that we had enough seating to entertain friends in our room. The layout of the room and storage is very well thought out. There is a microwave and mini refrigerator. I always appreciate a magnifying mirror in the bathroom and a dressing area with an outlet outside the bathroom so I can do my hair. Would love to stay here again!

The staff were so friendly, room was lively, loved the little sitting rooms on each floor with water available. Lovely decor, restaurants very nice!

The music is playing 24/7 in all areas inside and outside of the property. At times it is almost impossible to concentrate. I was there for work and I had to move to work in my room instead in the common areas or restaurant. (We did ask for it to be turned down at one point)

Description on Booking.com wasn’t always correct. Eg on booking.com it says you can have a bath or shower but reality is that there was only a shower. The prices for meals on Booking.com were incorrect. The staff were very helpful at letting me know what they had/hadn’t got and yes I could get breakfast items for a similar rate. But really they should honour what is shown on the confirmed booking. Small details but just a few comforts missing in room - shampoos etc, tea/coffee provided were really for 1 person and not 2. Yes they gave me more when I asked. Spoon for making tea/coffee would be helpful - wooden stick quite hard for coffee bags. Equally more milk required. Bin in main room and not just near loo would be a good idea (another one provided later in stay).

The staff at the Proximity are top notch. Even with the snow/ice storm all of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The rooms are lovely and spacious. They were also very clean and quiet. The onsite restaurant Printworks was wonderful. The food and staff were great. We live local and were at the hotel over my mom's 85th birthday celebration. We have never stayed here before but can't wait to come back again.

Everything about this hotel is top notch from beginning to end. We hope to return soon having had a mini weather-related vacation there.

It was a surprise gift for my sister’s birthday. From the time I entered the hotel the staff was polite and very according. That sealed the deal.

We loved our room, with a super comfortable king bed and large bathroom. It was very quiet and room darkening drapes created a peaceful environment for sleeping. The front desk team was welcoming and efficient. We had a great meal at the adjacent restaurant, Print Works Bistro, and the coffee available in the lobby was really great! Our stay was just a quick overnight, but we would definitely return when visiting Greensboro.

We had such an exceptional stay, I wrote to the property Manager and to the CEO to thank them. The actual physical property is amazing...with every amenity you might want or need. The staff -- holy cow -- the staff are very service-oriented and are the best I've ever seen. You feel like an honored family member the minute you arrive!!!

This hotel is one of the most pleasant surprises for travelers today. Roomy rooms wonderful bathrooms. restaurant open daily with weekend brunch, welcoming staff, easy registration and checkout just a delightful experience overall. The communal space on every level provides casual meeting space for family and friends and even business meetings if needed. Just a delight.

I just want to share my experience at this very lovely hotel. From the moment I walked through the door upon arrival and upon my departure my stay was wonderful I was in town for a funeral so these were sad circumstances. But nonetheless, the hotel is very centrally located near many stores and restaurants. It also has a highly rated restaurant on the grounds called Print Works Bistro. I did not go to this restaurant but did order a turkey dinner that was delicious from Room Service (which comes from the restaurant). All staff are friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully appointed and immaculate. At night in the lobby the gardens outside are lit up and just gorgeous looking from high up. All in all, I would recommend this very nice hotel if you are in the Greensboro area. Also check out Benjamin Park or The Bogs- a very nice area to walk around in natural surroundings with beautiful trees. A very peaceful place to de-stress and re-new your spirits
