Riad Mazaya

l'accueil , la disponibilité , la qualité

rien

Riad 5 estrelas. Voltarei certamente.

Nada a apontar.

The location was only a ten minute walk from Jemaa El-Fnaa square.

Everything, there’s nothing to fault! The rooftop is fantastic and spacious, the ground floor is amazingly cool compared to the 30°C Moroccan sun, the rooms are spacious, full of Moroccan character and very comfortable. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and exceptionally quick to being given to you from sitting down! The hospitality is exceptional and you truly feel welcome

How is there anything not to like?

Great location, quiet street but felt very safe. Lovely breakfast, comfortable beds. Walls are thin, but everyone was very respectful and quiet so it wasn’t an issue. Staff were all lovely and the owners helped a lot with recommendations etc (and have the cutest dog.) Would definitely recommend!

Nothing! Was a little disappointed that the jacuzzi wasn’t working, but maybe that was due to the time of year. The owners helped me book in for a pool day at a nearby hotel so that satisfied the need!

Spotlessly clean. Owners were so friendly and helpful, as was Mohammed the night guardian. Ladies who cleaned the room and cooked for us were just lovely. We were very well looked after by everyone. Great location. We were able to walk to both the main squares within ten minutes. Lots of choice nearby for restaurants and cafes.

Nothing! It was fantastic!

The service is excellent, the owner and all staffs are friendly and helpful. We felt quite happy there.

Riad Mazaya was a wonderful place to spend our first few nights in Morocco! The location was close to everything we wanted to see while still set along a quiet alleyway away from the noise. Nathalie and Clemente were thoughtful hosts and incredibly helpful in helping us craft an itinerary. Nathalie also provided some excellent dinner recommendations for Marrakech and also for our later trip to Essaouira.

If we had known our room was on the first floor of the riad, we may have picked a different room, as the doors were rather thin and we could hear people coming and going.

Ras

Limpeza e simpatia dos funcionarios excelenmte!

Very good.

On a trouvé notre pied à terre à Marrakech!

Very clean. Good location. Very quiet (after a very busy day!)

Nathalie and Clement were wonderful hosts which began with excellent communication after booking. They kindly accommodated my request for some savory food at breakfast (which was home made and delicious) and an extra night stay and helped with luggage, local recommendations for tourist attractions and restaurants etc. I loved the quiet terrace and jacuzzi! The indoor pool would be ideal for a cooling foot bath in the Summer. All of the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. I felt very welcome and looked after. The location of the peaceful Riad is ideal and I was given a very useful map to help me navigate the old town. Thank you to everyone. Go well 🙏🏼

Wonderful hosts. Nathalie was very responsive to all my WhatsApp messages and informative. Property is lovely. Quiet location inside the Medina. Short walk to a parking lot/ taxi stand. Close to main sights. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Staff were very nice. If you are an animal lover, the owners cute dog, Oslo visited with them every morning.

Bathroom is a little small, but not a significant negative.

Lovely riad in a great location, close to all the main tourist sites, providing a calm and peaceful space away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Nathalie and Clement were great hosts and provided lots of recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. Would highly recommend!

Very clean and comfortable riad, an oasis of calm in the middle of the busy medina.

Felt right at home the minute we walked in. I cannot say enough good things about the couple who own the riad! They were very friendly and welcoming and super helpful with advice on where to go and what to see, not only in Marrakech but throughout all of Morocco. The breakfasts were superb!! The atmosphere enchanting! The location perfect. You wont find a better place to stay! Next time I come through Marrakech, I will definitely be staying here!

Great location, just 10 min from main square. Our hosts were very professional, helpful, and most of all friendly. Delicous breakfast is made in house and served in riad patio by the pool. Would definitely recommend this riad as one of the nicest in our 3-week trip.

We had an amazing stay in Marrakech at Riad Mazaya! The hosts, Clément and Nathalie, were very warm and welcoming from the moment I actually made the booking! We communicated constantly via whatsapp and when we arrived they made sure that we have everything we need and gave us tips&tricks about what to do in the city. The place was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The staff made sure our room was nice and clean every day (which we really appreciated). Also the location is just perfect, very close to everything, but just a bit outside the noisy area - seemed difficult at first to not get lost, but it is actually really easy and we appreciated a lot that the place was so quiet (there are a lot of motorbikers which can be really annoying at night). The breakfast was absolutely delicious and really generous. Thank you so much Nathalie, Clément and the staff for being so attentive and making our stay memorable!

We actually liked everything about the property, but if we may kindly suggest, it would be wonderful if the water in the jacuzzi could be warmer during the colder months, as we weren’t able to fully enjoy it.

Great property, comfortable rooms, good location, and very helpful staff

Nothing

The Riad is very well located, very close to several points of interest, but is still in a quiet area that allows you to rest and charge your batteries. The riad is charming and Clement and Nathalie are also amazing, they welcomed us so well, they made a point of welcoming us and giving us tips on what to see, where to eat, thank you for your friendliness and availability from the first minute to the last. The Riad is very beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and everything is impeccable in terms of cleanliness. It has a small terrace where we had the opportunity to have breakfast, it was just wonderful. The breakfast was very varied, super tasty, with local cuisine, very well served and with the usual care. To highlight everyone's friendliness, I feel like coming back. We love it. Thanks ♡

Clément and Nathalie were the perfect hosts and their Riad is really beautiful and well taken care off, a beacon of peace and tranquility. The perfect place to have a peaceful and relaxing time while enjoying Marrakesh

Nothing

Charming breakfast, and great spot on the rooftop to enjoy eggs, breads and mint tea in the morning.

Lots of delicious sweet eats, like local jams and honey. Would love to see more savoury breakfast options the next time we come stay.

Very intimate Riad where, despite other guests, you could spend time together alone. Local traditional breakfasts served sweet with fruits were a great start to the day. Delicious coffee served European style - plenty of it :). Riad located between two completely different squares Jamal and Tinsmiths - each of them is a must see. A large number of cultural monuments to visit in the area. The biggest plus are the owners. Upon arrival we got a handful of information about culture, places to visit and many other useful tips. Our daily trips were based on a map that they prepared themselves. Rely on their experience because it is worth everything.

everything is great

I liked everything. From the delicious breakfast to the amazing terrace, the comfortable room, the location, and above all the hosts Clément and Nathalie. Thanks for your help and for being so accommodating.

Our stay was perfect. The Riad was very clean, quiet, and accessible and walkable to souks, restaurants and spa. The owners were very accommodating, they gave us a brief meeting about their city, recommended restaurants and spa, gave us a map and served us food and tea upon arrival. They were very professional and communicates well. I love how they made sure we are comfortable. The breakfast is superb! They even gave us a gift before checking out. They were lovely owners! The staff are thoughtful as well and served delicious food.

Nothing! It is perfect

The riad is in an excellent location, about 10 minutes from the main square. it’s very clean and tidy, the breakfast very tasty. the hosts were very nice, always with good advice and recommendation. Highly recommended.

Hosts were so kind and amazing, and really helpful on our trip! They gave us great tips on the area and even reached out to an excursion that I booked and hadn’t heard back from. Place is beautiful and clean, and breakfast was great! Place is quiet for sleeping but still only a short walk from some great places in Marrakech.

We stayed in this beautiful Riad in Marrakesh for the first three nights of our trip to Morocco. Natalie and Clement were perfect hosts, they were so helpful, friendly and happy to share all their knowledge of Marrakesh. The staff in the Riad were all very kind and thoughtful too. We thoroughly recommend this Riad.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The position and our room was super nice! You can have breakfast late in the morning ;) and they prepare everything fresh everyday! We loved also the tranquility of the place and the Owner and his advices 🙏😊

Nothing

This is a stunning place so serene, the location is perfect tucked away from the hustle and bustle but not too far from the main square. Clement and Natalie are incredible hosts they are unbelievably kind and always available for tips and tricks. We had the most perfect stay we could have asked for. Ohhh and breakfast on the rooftop was the icing on the cake!

Couldn’t fault it

Very clean, very good breakfast. I love their shampoo!

Nothing

Very good location! The owners were great! They help us with everything!

We all had luck, staying at this riad! Very interesting and different place! Like it so much! The hosts we perfect, help us for everything needed for a pleasant Marrakech! The breakfast, the advices, all… Thank you, Clement, and others - such a friendly people!!! Recommend!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Nothing!!!

What a wonderful Riad at the heart of the old town! Our hosts; Clement and Nathalie were absolutely delightful, extremely helpful, efficient and informative which made our stay even more special! (THANK YOU) while they were not available, Badar the riad assistant was so help even at our most inconvenient times.🙏🏼 From the moment we came, we had an upgrade on our room, just as an choice by the hosts, they help arranged and booked several restaurants that were popular and made sure breakfast was made to our timings so it never went cold! I can truly say we felt welcomed and attended till the end. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Also the hot tub facility was great to end our nights! (And the sisha Badar made, fab, thank u) The location is 10mims from the famous Bhaia Palace too. Thank you again 😊

Lovely restored property lovely architectural features with modern facilities , feel really at home and only 10mins walk to main square , lovely quiet location with roof top garden and hot tub which we used every day

No complaints

The hosts - Clement and Nathalie - were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure me and my friend had a good stay. They helped us book taxi’s, recommended places to go to, and even recommended spots to visit when we left the Riad and continued our journey in Morocco. The cleanliness and location of the Riad are superb. The staff at the Riad was so kind. Loved the rooftop and the hottub. Great to have AC in our room. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really good.

Nothing, this stay was 10/10.

We stayed at Riad Mazaya for our first trip to Marrakech and could not have wished for a more pleasant stay. Thank you to Nathalie and Clement for being the most welcoming, accommodating hosts and the staff at Riad Mazaya for being so attentive and making us feel at home. The Riad itself is a hidden treasure hidden in the heart of the Medina (so beautiful, authentic, peaceful and accessible to pretty much everything) Our room was so stunning, clean and spacious. Breakfast was freshly made and served downstairs by the pool or upstairs on the terrace. Nathalie and Clement really looked after us, checked in with us regularly and provided us with so much guidance and advice to make our stay special. We highly recommend this beautiful Riad for your stay! 10/10 Thank you once again Nathalie, Clement and staff. Lots of love from, London x

a little paradise in the Medina

Nathalie the owner picked us up from the nearby car park and was nice and helpful. Her partner was welcoming too. Badr was helpful and accompanied us to car park in early morning when we were leaving.

Jacuzzi was not in much use. A bit secluded location. But that made it pleasantly quiet from noise.

Riad Mazaya is a quiet riad in the center of the action which is which is what would hope for in Marrakech. From here we could take a High Atlas Mountains tour, and the hosts arranged for us a wonderful city private tour guide. We walked to the medina and participated in the shopping and celebrations there. It was a very safe comfortable and happy place to be. The hosts provided great care. We loved the rooftop terrace too.

Centrally located, comfortable, great hosts!

The whole vibe was really welcoming. very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. lovely roof terrace! The level of hospitality was out of this world. I would recommend it to everyone

we wanted to spend more time lounging on the roof terrace but there was too much to see in the city 😂. too cozy.

Very quiet riad, located close to Bahia Palace in the medina. The rooms are spacious, super clean, pleasantly decorated. The hosts are super welcoming, they've recommended places of interest, nice restaurants for lunch and dinner, local tips. The breakfast is nice (nothing special) and nourishing. The rooftop terrace is very pleasant -- there are sunbeds, Jacuzzi shade -- great place to get some afternoon rest. Transfers from and to the airport is reasonably priced and it takes ~20minutes.

Everything was perfect. Thank you Nathalie and Clemente for your hospitality

Perfect location near to Palais Bahia. Very quiet and comfortable. Nathalie is really the best host you could wish for.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

the location and the hosts

nothing

The location was really good. We pretty much walked to all of the attractions and cafes. Nathalie and Clement were superb hosts. They made us feel comfortable, recommended lovely cafes and attractions, and even helped us book. Hassan and the other lady always greeted us and were lovely. Breakfast was good; every day was different, but maybe they could work on the portion size. We miss Oslo, he bought smiles to our faces every morning.

We wanted to try the Jacuzzi, but it didn't look too clean. We should have perhaps addressed this at that time but it wasn't anything major. Overall, we loved every bit of the Riad from location, security, hosts, breakfast, comfort etc.

Very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, lovely small breakfast. The jacuzzi on the roof top is great as well.

You hear through the rooms but I think that's pretty normal for riads.

Breakfast

Our stay at Riad Mazaya was exceptional. The Riad was beautiful with great spots to relax (terrace) and the Riad is in a convenient location - close to the square and Bahia palace. Our room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Clément and Nathalie were amazing - so attentive, helpful and kind. They were personable and gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do (hammam and food museum). Their hospitality was one of the highlights of our stay in Marrakech. They made our stay easy by booking our taxis to the airport and tuktuk for when we went to the Marjolle gardens. Lady Mbarka who served breakfast was so lovely and kind and in the evening Men Badr looked after us and was at hand with anything we needed. We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful Riad and would come back if we ever visited Marrakech again!

Absolutely everything about our stay was exceptional - Nathalie and Clemente went out of their way to make sure our trip was seamless and gave us an excellent breakdown of all the best sights and restaurants in Marrakesh. From organising the taxi to and from the airport to booking our excellent Hammam, we simply couldn’t have asked for better hosts. It took a long time to choose a suitable Riad and we settled here on the basis of previous recommendations of the hospitality and expectations were exceeded. The Riad itself is beautiful and easy to find (relatively speaking!). It is quiet at night which is needed amongst the hustle of Marrakesh and the breakfast was delicious ! We can’t wait until our next visit!

Nothing !

This is an awesome riad. Our room was big and sparkling clean. We were happy to find a heating system in the bathroom, as it was very cold in Marrakech during the night (temperature dropped to 0 C). Having a heated room is everything but easy in Morocco, so this is really a plus! Beds were very comfortable and our rest was great. Nathalie and Clément could give us plenty of suggestions for restaurants, hammam, massage and so on. They love Marrakech and love for sure their work! Next time we will ask them some help in organizing a tour around Morocco, as they know many people and understand very well what guests need.

Perfect Riad, very comfortable, clean with the most perfect hosts who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. We stayed in the Lilac room which is just beautiful with the best walk in shower (bliss after a day exploring Marrakech). Breakfast is very tasty and filling, again just perfect before a day exploring. Thank you Nathalie & Clement for such a lovely and enjoyable stay.

Everything was perfect

Amazing. If you are looking for a place to stay in the old town, look no further. Location was very convenient, a short walk away from the taxi rank (it's worth noting that cars can only access the peripheries of the town, this was something we were not aware of when booking), clean, friendly and Nathalie and Clement's hospitality was second to none!

Comfortable stylish Riad in a great location. Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely and the staff were all really helpful and friendly.

Nothing

lovely place! got to view most of the rooms and would’ve loved them all!

Only given 1 key for a group of 3 but it wasn’t a big issue

The owner is the kindest one we've met in our life. Helps with booking of taxis, TukTuk, gives useful tips for restaurants, sightseeing and so on. The staff is very friendly. Clément checks the quality regularly.

Our stay in the riad was the highlight of our trip. Clement and Nathalie are lovely, attentive and very helpful. We informed them about a blocked shower and it was fixed immediately! The riad itself is beautiful ! It’s peaceful with various pretty corners and spots to relax, my fav was the terrace where I could spend hours relaxing ! Clement arranged sheesha for us one evening on our request which was very nice ! The lady serving breakfast Mbarka was lovely and very kind ! Special shoutout to Badr who looks after the Riad in the night. Such a delightful soul ! Riad Mazaya treated us really well! Already booking it for next year 😊

Everything was perfect !
