Great location - so quiet! And the room was quite large with a great shower!
Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but not a dealbreaker
Loud slamming door are very heavy.
Great value as it’s a comfortable hotel that’s convenient to Manhattan. Excellent eateries in the neighborhood and the hotel itself has an amazing rooftop bar with a stunning view of the city.
Limited amenities in the rooms, though there’s more if you ask at the desk.
There is no smart tv just cable tv. So no Netflix or Hulu. The beds are so low and the mattress is to soft and the bed makes to much noise when on it.
The guy who checked me in was amazing. I felt welcomed, like I was the only guest he’s been awaiting. He actually popped outside to make sure I parked my car In a location safe from tickets and even remembered my name the day I checked out. Amazing. The only thing I’d change about the hotel, is to add ice machines on each floor, or provide ice delivery. Going down to the restaurant for ice is a little inconvenient. Other then that, perfect.

The view, even though I was on the 3rd floor the view was still good. The food was greatt 😋 seasoned well cooked perfectly. (had the salmon and calamari) Bed was very comfy 😌 😴 Soundproof caue I didn't hear anyone on my floor. Nice roof top bar to see everything
The TV was small, but thats just me and my farsighted eyes 😆. The balcony was nice just could have had something outside to have a seat. It's just made for you too take pictures and go back inside. The food menu needs some more items. Some people have dairy problems and just dont want a pizza and pasta. I get trying to stand out on but some other things can be added on. I only got fries. The cocktail drinks where nasty to me not everything needs mint or some type of fancy leaves in them. A simple margarita won't hurt someone 😋 😌 I still drunk it cause I already got it but yea.
Very impressed, clean setting, uncluttered, friendly service everywhere, lovely rooftop, a great view from there and from the balcony rooms with Manhattan views.
This hotel met all of our expectations for an affordable, safe and comfortable stay while visiting over a weekend for a special family ceremony. The hotel desk agents ( shout out to David) were friendly, helpful and accomodating for our needs. Having a cafe, a bar and a restaurant on site was a plus. The subway station into the city was only a few blocks away and taxis and rideshares were quick in the area. The hotel provides a car service that I found out later. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and quiet despite facing a street. This is a quiet area of LIC. If I were to return to visit NYC, I would stay here for the value, quiet and location to subway as an easy in and out of Manhattan.
We chose the Boro Hotel as accommodation for my film crew on a recent documentary shoot in New York. The staff was very friendly and cooperative with our needs; we rented their conference room for meeting and technical work we need to carry out while there; we rented their beautiful rooftop as a location for our shoot. Front desk staff was amazing; food at the restaurant was great. I can't say enough great things. Will come again.

A room was small. I was very disappointed at the pictures are not the same as the room
Location was convenient to the city, quiet rooms, very clean, restaurant downstairs was very good , especially the pizza in a late night crunch. Highly recommend to avoid the crowds and congestion of the city.
The room was spacious, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The service at the restaurant was great and the servers were attentive.
The rooms had limited lighting. There were also no drawers to put away clothes and organize. There was no one to help with luggage handling in the lobby, and there was only one person at check in time to help people check in.
Great location. Spacious rooms. Lots of dinning options close by. Clean. Staff was very accommodating
Nothing
Looks like an owner had 1st business. No fridge , first room had a smell marijuana. At next day a got new room. No fridge , no iron at the room, I had a request to get an iron, after 40 min I got it by myself. Hotel don’t have a parking , nearby parking charge me 35$ per night for suv. Stuff was very friendly and good . But building was build like for save a money, pictures is a fake. Only 1 light ball for the room. Most of worst hotels where i stayed (100$ feels was better) I spent 1100$ for 3 nights. This hotel not for this price. Area is very bad. A lot of rats at the street. This area is a getto
Fairly good hotel with nice city view if you have room to the right direction to the water. As a surprise, nobody told us about cleaning upon request. When we requested nobody clean it anyway. Upon escalation, they have clean the room in the evening.
Cleaning the room upon request only. Nobody told us at check in. It was a real surprise for the hotel that is not seen as budget hotel.
No habían buenos parqueos
Everything was great. I was pleasantly surprised often when I was offered a free glass of wine, or a coffee, or I found some great reads in the lobby. The room was amazing.
Amazing hotel and the staff was incredible. Will definitely stay here again.
A really great hotel in a very convenient location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was nice but could use a little more storage for unpacking clothes, since there's basically none. Aside from that the accommodations were comfortable, clean and quiet. The food and service in the cafe were exceptional and the rooftop bar was worth a visit for the view alone. I'd highly recommend staying at Boro.
Great customer service, David was wonderful! The room was perfect and the vibe was exactly what we needed for our quick stay!
Hotel is great. Rooms were clean and nice. Great views. The location was not great -- pretty dirty area and not a lot to do or nice restaurants, but subway was close. Beebe's Restaurant staff were AMAZING. We had a really nice time here.
Easy. Comfy. No problems!
Nothing
Fantastic views. Easy and quick subway links. Safe neighborhood with shops and bar.
The main thing was the view, with a corner Manhattan view room. Gorgeous! Worth the money. Staff was helpful, the hotel in general is well designed and run with a good restaurant, bar, and cafe. They provided us with a mini-fridge because we asked ahead of time, but apparently, this is not standard in rooms. Bathroom was nice and large. Convenient location to explore Queens, LIC, and hop on a train/subway to Manhattan or Brooklyn.
Our room was a deluxe, but it didn't have almost any furniture. The room was quite big with a large balcony, but there was no furniture to sit on. We could only sit on the bed and one really uncomfortable hard wooden chair. Quite disappointing that there wasn't even a sitting area or a way to sit on the balcony, and most of the room was just empty floor. We also didn't have our roomed cleaned for two days until we requested, and there was no explanation for this (we weren't advised to request room cleaning). However, the rest of the time we were there was adequately scheduled cleaning.
The austere industrial look is very well done. And if you have a room facing Manhattan, the views are fantastic. All that and the staff are also great. The place to stay in north Queens.
Not a thing.
The entrance
The bed squeaks like crazy, the heat make noises all night, no rug, only 1 chair in the room, no fridge.
Great views from the balcony and hotel restaurant was amazing!
Dirty shower with clumps of hair, I don’t think anyone cleaned it. For almost 500 a night, I expected it to be clean. Shower handle is also loose so water only stayed on super hot
The boutique hotel is in a good location. It's very clean. The bars are nice especially the roof top and the restaurant has great food. There is a small basement gym that has a treadmill, elliptical, some weights and a universal weight machine. I would recommend bath robes in the rooms as well as coffee or tea machines in the rooms. It's nice not to have to go to the lobby for coffee in the morning. The hotel has coffee service until 9am, however I think there should at least be coffee available in your room as well.
The hotel is a boutique hotel. It is very nice. It has an industrial feel to it depending on where you are at hotel. I think the ceilings in the rooms should be painted to give it a softer feel. Overall I did enjoy the hotel. The restaurant.and rooftop lounge are a must visit.
We booked a corner room with a superbe view of the Manhattan skyline. We liked the interior, the wood flooring, the large room, the large bathroom, the balcony is as wide as the room. The beds were super comfy. The personnel is super nice.
I wish we could have had a coffee machine in the room and real mugs. I don't like paper cups (perhaps this is city regulations, encountered that in another hotel in the city)
Very clean and staff was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again.
Large room, nice view, close to the Metro
No housekeeping, no dresser or drawers for clothes. The lights in the room were odd- a lightbulb hanging from a wire, only one nightstand, we couldn’t turn off the lights from the bed.
I liked the location, which is convenient to both Manhattan and Queens.
I liked the industrial feel, the staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Room was decent - simple but very spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. Reception staff were friendly. Really nice view of Manhattan from the rooftop bar. Short walk to the nearest metro (about 10-15 minutes maybe, depending on how quick you are to walk though of course).
200$ deposit, and it still has not come back. However, high deposits seem to be normal in New York, as also our previous hotel before this one charged a 100$ deposit. It is just not very nice to have those sorts of amounts gone out of the banking account without being able to see if they're coming back or not. The overall price is, well, it's New York prices. It's going to be more expensive for what you get compared to most places, but that's just how New York is.
I live nearby and we’ve been suffering with power outage issues in my building. I booked the hotel last minute for one night and I’m so glad I did. Everyone who works here couldn’t be nicer. I have bad allergies and the front desk made sure to give me a room that hadn’t had a pet in it for a long time. The AC worked great, the bed was comfy, everything was very clean. We had a little balcony, which was nice. The best part is that it was super quiet and great for sleeping. Plus it’s a quick walk to queensboro plaza. We also ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and everything was delicious. I will definitely recommend it to people visiting NYC.
Tremendous view of the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to subway into the city.
Quick walk to subway, friendly staff, nice, attractive rooms. Rooftop bar has a jaw-dropping view.
My room shared a wall with the stairs door, which thundered as it closed, sounding in my room like someone had entered my room. We got used to it, but the first night was a bit unsettling.
Staff were wonderful, exceptionally friendly and helpful, made me feel very welcome and safe.
I wish there was an ability to order room service online, instead of needing to phone up. I also wish there were more amenities in-room, although it was made clear that I could phone reception for anything I needed (which I did, for a fan, which was promptly brought to my room).
Spacious room with a beautiful view. I stayed one night in the Manhattan Skyline View room & one night in the Studio Suite. The former has the much better view while the latter has an extremely deep soaking tub that I took advantage of. Just a 7 min walk to the subway, which I felt super safe doing at night alone, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Will stay again in the future! Shout-out to Melissa in the bar and David at the front desk for their friendly hospitality!
Let’s start with the positives. The check in process was seamless and professional and the woman checking us in was personable and informative. Breakfast the next day at Beebe’s was excellent. Now, the negatives. We had dropped our bags in the room at 2:30 pm and headed quickly out. We had noticed the scent of marijuana in the hallway and in the room, but thought it might be coming from an adjacent balcony. When we returned to the room at 9pm, the scent was now over powering and we called down to request a move to another room. Thank goodness for the evening manger, David, who quickly found another room. He came up to deliver the new room keys and checked on the odor. Yep, overpowering and not pleasant! We moved to the new room. However, that next morning we discovered that there was no hair dryer. A call to the front desk and they said one would be delivered. 20 minutes later I went down to the front desk to see where the hairdryer was. They we were incredulous that it hadn’t been delivered and promised to send up one. 10 minutes later and no hair dryer. Tried to call the front desk. Busy. Busy. Busy. No hair dryer was delivered and we went to the front desk to check out. Ugh. We travel to LIC once a month and stay at various area hotels and this was not our first stay at The Boro, but it was our most disappointing. The little things matter when it comes to evaluating a hotel service. We hope this property can deliver a better experience in the future.
Beautiful views, great value for location and ease of subway access. Staff was super friendly!

The breakfast was really good! That surprised me lol and the staff was great! Everything went smooth and it was cleannnn!
I loved it! Comfy, easy, lovely. It's my new go to in the neighborhood!
Safe members were friendly
No fan in the bathroom. Poor air blockage of balcony door so you can hear drift comes in
Wir waren in der 5. Etage.
I like how comfortable the bed was. Also, the airflow in the room when you open the door to go outside the airflow in the room was really nice. Also, I liked the minimalistic style of the room coupled with the industrial aspect of the room was really nice.
what I didn’t like about the property was that you had to call to get your room cleaned. If there’s some type of regulation or no rule or law that that doesn’t allow a room to be clean that’s one thing. But even in that towels, washcloths should be refreshed daily.
Kein Kühlschrank
great staff, room, restaurant, and coffee bar . . . Alejandro & Saoul (sp?) were fantastic!!
Amazing view, spacious and clean rooms and a beautiful lobby that smells like what I imagine heaven smells like. It's close to the train, a couple blocks either way. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only question I have is, where are the washcloths? When we arrived I wanted to wash up a little and there were no washcloths. Asked front desk and some were delivered. Next day, they cleaned the room, replaced towels, no wash clothes again. So I called down and asked and we were delivered hand towels. Do you know how hard it is to bathe using a hand towel? It was the same routine every day of our 4 day stay with hand towels. When I'm paying almost $1700 for a 4 day stay, I would assume the basics would be available. Please buy some washcloths.
I have stayed at the Boro Hotel more times than I can count--each and every time it's a great stay. The rooms are large, beautifully appointed with very comfortable beds, nice accoutrements including water/nice bathroom accessories etc. The complimentary wine in the evening and coffee in the morning are perfecto! Over my many visits there have bee a few snafu's which have been handled professionally. I have grown fond of the location as we have family in Greenpoint we need to visit frequently and this is the perfect place. Economic and great location. You really can't go wrong staying at the Boro. Also, we love that it is family owned and operated. Lastly, the restaurant in the hotel lobby, Bebee's is absolutely amazing, amongst the best pizza and breakfasts we have had in the city. This place is a hidden gem!
Loved Boro. So much character and detail to the decor. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing. Pizza and coffee at restaurant/ cafe were delicious. Rooftop was amazing. Highly recommend!
I had an amazing stay at Boro Hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the front desk staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to the manager, who actually remembered me and made me feel valued as a guest. That personal touch meant so much and made my stay even more memorable. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
Nice view, soft beds, very clean
Only coffee at ground floor and early in the morning. Coffee was poor quality.
Family met for a wedding on Roosevelt Island. The staff was excellent in accommodating us and our special requests. Our hats off to Anna and David. Thanks so much!!
The rooftop bar was nice and wasn’t packed
There’s no fridge in the rooms
