Was given keys to an occupied room at first, then the first night the phone in the room started beeping at 2am and I had to call the front desk for someone to remove it, the tv remote didn’t work, no housekeeping came by on my second day there. The temperature in the room varied a lot overnight.

O hotel disponibiliza um café da manhã onde você paga o que for escolhendo (fruta, sanduiche, iogurte, waffle, etc).

O vento do ar condicionado caía em cima da cama, o que é desconfortável. O quarto com duas camas queen fica um pouco apertado.

Very close to the subway. Lots of food choices around.

There was nothing I didn’t like

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel, especially because of the exceptional customer service I received. Fred assisted me and went above and beyond to help accommodate my room needs and was incredibly helpful when I needed to make a last-minute request. They were professional, patient, welcoming, and genuinely made me feel like my needs mattered. Even with the last-minute arrangements, they made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. It’s not every day that you come across someone who takes the extra time to make sure everything is taken care of, and I truly appreciated it. The level of hospitality and attention to detail made a huge difference in my stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay and, most importantly, outstanding customer service. I will definitely be returning in the future! PRO: quiet room and slept well with good sound insulation, walking distance to several subway stops and in total access to 6 different subway lines which is great given this hotel is in Queens, numerous restaurants right around hotel, nice walk in shower, allows pets, lobby was good size for inner city Aloft, rooftop has nice view of Manhattan with outdoor table/chairs and spacious. We booked 3 rooms and my favorite was the one with view of Manhattan & Queensboro bridge, so it would have to be a room in the main building, facing the courtyard and high enough to look over other buildings. I got this room via upgrade request via platinum elite status. CON: cramped much like other hotels we've stayed at in NYC, we stayed for 5 nights, but one of the mornings seemed to have a lot of train traffic around the hotel. Although the walk in shower was nice, we felt the water pressure was too weak. I felt it odd that the hotel was actually 2 separate buildings, though connected via a walkway on 1st floor. The rooms with balconies were in the building separate from the lobby and the rooms with balconies facing the Hunter street were super tiny, so if you get balcony and want to actually lounge there, get one facing the courtyard. No lounge so did not feel platinum elite status did much beyond room upgrade with better view.

Fred was incredibly kind and patient. Even though we arrived very late, he made sure our room was ready and waited for us without any problems. We stayed for five nights, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Overall, we had a great experience.

This Aloft hotel was the perfect place for my business travel in NYC! It was comfortable, clean, close to some amazing restaurants and shopping. It was convenient to travel to my events. The rooftop view was such an unexpected perk with breathtaking views over the city… the bar being inside the hotel was sweet and they have themed nights like karaoke which are super fun! I would 10/10 recommend.

The hotel is great, the location is clutch, and the absolute gem of everything is Fred at the front desk. He goes above and beyond to make sure that guests are taken care of, can get into their accommodations as quickly as possible, and helps smooth over any bumps on the way. As someone who works in hospitality and tourism, I know the real deal when I meet them and that’s Fred.

best location and service in lic! so many food options, subway stations one block over, and a great view of manhattan from the rooms (plus an accessible rooftop!) amazing housekeeping and very helpful front desk staff. we always returned to our rooms with fresh towels and bed sheets. front desk staff stowed our luggage after checkout for one last day around nyc. will always come back!

Such a cute hotel, and in such a cute area!! The hotel service was great and the king bed was super comfortable. We stayed on the 17th floor and the view was amazing, plus the rooftop view was amazing too. We loved the pool table, lounges, and other amenities. Would love to stay here again :)

Location of hotel is near many fantastic bars, cafes, and restaurants! The subway was not too far either. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There is a very nice bar connected to the lobby and also rooftop access that gives you an amazing view of Manhattan! Will definitely book here again!

This hotel has such a beautiful and clean. The bar is nice and staffs are so friendly. Especially Fred at the front helped me with his warm heart. I would stay again!

I stay here for work and it’s always an amazing experience when I do come. The rooms are clean and always consistent. But I would like to commend the hotel staff as they are always nice and friendly. I go here enough and I know some of the staff members by their first names. Very approachable and personable. Manager Jp, is always friendly and asks how our stay is. I know this is something very little but THEIR ICE IS AMAZINGGGG. Would come back here anytime. Also check out their tiny bar XYZ bar. There are always different events going on depending on the day. Wednesdays are my fave because it’s karaoke night and Thursdays have a live band that brings the energy up in the bar.

I had a wonderful stay at Aloft. It was an excellent location if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. It was quiet and very convenient. Easy to get into the city whenever I wanted. Easy access to subway stations. Hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable. Very friendly staff. I visit my children twice a year. Aloft will definitely be my home away from Manila whenever I visit New York. See you in October!

Great location (close enough to Manhattan) with tons of comforts and great service. Everyone is super polite and quick to respond 👌👌. Rooms are nice, quite and the shower heads are amazing.

Really spacious room. I liked the open bathroom layout as a door usually gets in the way. Felt very clean and had TWO desks/plenty of table room. Lots of lounge area and work tables on the main floor with outlets. Nice staff. V close to MTA station and a lot of LIC food options/luxury buildings, so felt safe.

Great location, helpful staff and comfortable room. They allowed us check in as early as 11AM which for me was fantastic. They were very flexible.

Bed and pillows were uncomfortable hurt my back. Towels were thin. A/C was very noisy. Color of the hallway was dismal and the orange and grey room was not relaxing. Had a bad vibe.

The room were too too small. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The mattress felt like it dipped in the middle.

I thought I read for 10 additional USD breakfast was included. I ws looking at so many hotels I could have mistaken it for another hotel. I had breakfast outside the hotel. The rows clean and love love loved the roof top. The location was excellent for both bus and train.

I cannot think of anything I did not like.

This Aloft punches above its weight. It's clean, modern, and Midtown Manhattan is just ten minutes away by subway. The roof deck view is amazing. My room (standard queen) felt spacious by NYC standards, Aloft is uniquely good at making the most of small spaces. Long Island City is a vibrant neighborhood with a great waterfront, but know that transit connections to much of Brooklyn are a slog.

We had an amazing stay at Aloft Long Island City-Manhattan View! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The hotel was always very clean, and housekeeping did a wonderful job every day. We really appreciated the little details like fresh water bottles and coffee supplies being restocked daily for the coffee machine in our room. One of our favorite parts was the fun atmosphere at the hotel — they even offered salsa lessons and happy hour, which made the experience feel extra special and memorable. It was such a nice way to relax and enjoy the evenings. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Great service, clean rooms, fun activities, and an amazing staff. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York!

The place was very clean, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Overall, we had a great experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to Manhattan and many nearby restaurants, cafés, and shops. The area also felt very safe. The penthouse was outstanding, especially having private access to the rooftop with perfect city views. We had cocktails at the bar, which were excellent and surprisingly affordable. The hotel was very quiet, and we slept perfectly with no noise at all. Snacks and coffee were always available, and there were many comfortable spaces throughout the hotel to sit and relax. Totally recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Excellent location. Close enough to the main attractions but far enough where it’s a quiet area to stay at night. I felt safe and I believe a lot of locals live in this area. It’s very close to the subway as well. The staff is amazing and always friendly!

If I had to be picky…they could use more dusting and maybe have a mini fridge inside the room. We were only there for 3 nights so it wasn’t a big deal but can imagine this being problematic if you like cold drinks or need to refrigerate medicine.

Really liked this hotel! Stayed 4 nights to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday, her first trip to NYC! We weren't in the room much, other than to sleep and to shower after a days sightseeing before heading out into town. But staff were friendly, am Marriott Titanium so got free breakfast each day, a room upgrade and a late 4pm checkout. Location excellent - near subway stations - why pay far more to stay in Midtown when you can stay here and spend the money you have saved on nice meals out and activities during the day? Nice lobby area and bar XYZ downstairs where we finally had time to have a drink before getting a taxi to JFK to head home. Highly recommended.

We are always greeted with friendly smiles when we walk in the door at Aloft in LIC. We have stayed numerous times and will continue.

STRONG air freshener in the hallway. Always gives me a headache. It’s so strong. And the small soap gets stuck in the plastic soap tray. It needs ridges or you should have liquid soap.

At time of booking I made a request for a room at the back of the hotel on a higher floor. Request was ignored, put me in a room on the front of the hotel across from construction work on opposite building, was very noisy and was woken up at 6am every day due to construction workers using loud equipment.

Proximity to grocery stores and subway stations.

I have been requesting a price adjustment for three months now. There was no refrigerator in my room and I had to store my medication offsite. Management said they would contact me but their reply emails are simply to apologize and say my request is under review. I was given a case number but ai haven’t heard or seen progress. Apparently they don’t care that I was inconvenienced.

Long Island City is one stop from Manhattan and is itself a vibrant community close to Greenpoint and Astoria with its own sensational waterfront park with views of Manhattan. Plenty of good restaurants and one of the best diners anywhere in New York. Also PS1, the modern art extension of MOMA. In terms of my room I was lucky to be given a handicapped room, by which I mean it was designed to accommodate wheelchair users and therefore spacious and comfortable. Free coffee and tea in the room always goes a long way to make me happy, this room also had a refrigerator allowing for casual in-room eating which is always good news too. Location is great for access to La Guardia and JFK airports.
