Hotel Country Villa

Fantastisk utsikt frå rommet med balkong. God atmosfære og vennlig personalet som såg oss og spurte om alt var bra utan å vere pågåande. Utsikten var ein stor pluss! Vi overnatta på hotellet då det var monsoon og mykje regn og tåke og små sjanser for å sjå Himalaya. Vi stod opp neste morgon kl. 5 og fekk sjå eit magisk lysspel. Og til slutt eit glimt av Himalaya! Men også utan ein får sjå Himalaya er hotellet og utsikten ei flott oppleving. Maten på restauranten likte vi veldig godt.

La ubicación cumplió las expectativas, pudimos ver el amanecer perfectamente.

Hay una habitación solitaria en la planta mas arriba, que aún no ha sido reformada, estaba anticuada y un poco más sucia. Por lo demás, todo perfecto.

The site that overlooks the valley.

Lack of a nearby walking area or track. The quality of the food. The unwelcoming demeanor of the front office staff. Noise pollution generated by the hotel and the neighboring establishment was disruptive.

Location and size of the property

Wonderfully presented property, views would have been excellent apart from the haze that was continuous for the three nights we were there. Room was immaculate and staff were very attentive to our needs.

The restaurant pricing was in line with a high end establishment but possibly a bit over the top. It was a 20 minute walk into the main town area where we walked each night to eat. The ambience is that expected of a 5 star resort which did feel a little impersonal at times.

Superb location and views. The staff were very polite and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and the gardens and facilities first class. The restaurant was really good with excellent buffets.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man kann den Sonnenaufgang auf den Himalajas vom Balkon bewundern. Das Büffet zum Frühstück war sehr reich und lecker, genauso wie das Büffet zum Abendessen (für nur 10€ extra pro Person). Warmes Whirlpool abends war auch sehr toll.

Leider waren das Glas der Dusche und der Duschkopf in unserem Zimmer nicht mit dem richtigem Abstand gebaut worden und deswegen war das Badezimmer bei jeder Dusche überschwemmt. Ansonsten alles prima und sehr gemütlich.

The room was comfortable and warm, and the balcony had a nice view. The breakfast was also quite substantial. The evening buffet was also quite good, and the price was acceptable.

The only downside was the hotel's unreasonable charge for a private car to the airport; it was a short trip, yet they charged 4000 rupees. We chose this hotel, which made calling an indive inconvenient. The hotel should have understood and supported this decision, and shouldn't have made money off this expense. It was a major drawback, as we practically had no other choice.

Exactly like the pictures, panoramic himalaya views. Though it is a bit dated but the room is clean and comfortable especially the comfy bed. A very happening hotels with full of guests which l think it is a very popular hotel in Nagarkot. Worth to stay.

Amazingly helpful, consistently service-minded and friendly staff. Fabulous views and settings. Superb morning hike to start the day. Delicious and varied food. Professional massage.

We spent an amazing two days over Christmas at Hotel Country Villa. The room we stayed in was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The view is incredible on a clear day and there’s a lovely heated pool to enjoy it from. Cannot fault it.

Food. It's horrible for the amount they are charging. Room is too average. Washrooms gets hot water in 5 mins so you have to waste a lot of water. Also it's chilling in washrooms so it's difficult.

View was amazing

It’s way expensive for just a view. Room was too old, furniture was old. There wasn’t enough sockets. The rooms are not sound proof and i don’t know why but there was a very crowded student group and they were loud.

The location and view was incredible. The hotel had quite a rustic appearance but was beautiful. It was perched on the hilltop and over several levels. All the rooms had stunning Mountain View’s and it was just lovely. I had expected that due to the rustic appearance the standard would be lower but it wasn’t - it was gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and on hand to help with everything needed. It was the perfect place to just sit and state at the view from a multitude of levels on the hill side. We had the food which was good- ordered a thali from the restaurant and breakfast was also very good.

The only criticism was the shower which was luke warm . I am unsure if it is due to the time I was showering but hotter water would have been much better.

I’ve been traveling for more than 10 years now, almost 60 countries visited. I can say for sure that this hotel was one of the best if not the best hotel I’ve stayed in. From the food to the staff, everything was immaculate and waking up with the view of the Himalaya was just the cherry on top

It was a bit expensive, but probably worth it. Not the hotel's fault that sunrise and sunset were both rather misty!

Restaurent not bad, but not great either, in any aspect. The entire hotel a bit rundown, needs some maintenance.

Amazing stay in Nagarkot. The views of the Himalayas are absolutely breathtaking, so make sure to get a Mountain View room. The balcony was brilliant for taking it all in. The spa is beautiful and the massages are excellent – it’s best to book as soon as you arrive as it gets busy. The restaurant serves very good food. The pool and jacuzzi are free, lovely and warm, and the sunshine during the day makes it perfect for relaxing by the pool.

It was absolutely fine for us, but please note there are a lot of steps to get to the swimming pool and jacuzzi

The staff don't seem to check if the room facilities are functional and in good working condition before checking in with their guests. Our junior suites commode seat was broken.

It was amazing. The view was breathtaking and i enjoyed it very much. I felt ill in the first few days and everyone was not only concerned but went above and beyond to help me get better.

Stunning view, excellent room

A friend suggested me to visit I just booked and went there. by the time I got there I was shocked with the beauty structure views everything I've been traveling around the ktm for a while and this place is top of my list it's a must visit place in nepal 🇳🇵❤️❤️

The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by nature and hills. It was a mesmerizing with scenery nature. Over all we had so much fun and lot of beautiful captures around the environment. People over here are very calm and respectful. It’s good to go to relax from the busy life.

View was excellent and the ambience at the property was very good. Maybe they can put some more recreation like a good pool table, a chess board or some other adult games.

Food quality was average.

It had beautiful view of Himalayas. And a lot of hiking opportunity. Food was a lot more vegetarian focused, and meat options were limited, but that's what can be expected in hindu majority country.

Happy hour at bar would have been great. In room dining facilities should be 24 hour

The room was very comfortable, with a large balcony overlooking the valley and mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a large variety of tastey food and the Nepalese red wine was a great find. The walks around the mountian were well worth the effort for the views.

This is the perfect getaway hotel vacation as a U.S.A. tourist. Other than the beds being a little hard, this was perfect for me. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, had a very nice, and much needed hot stone massage at the spa here, I was experiencing a lot of tightness in a lot of areas, and the massage therapist did a wonderful job in loosening out most of my tension in my back, legs and chest. Also, the breakfast buffet was exactly what I had hoped for, I made sure I got my fruit and vegetables and lots of warm water in my digestive system, and to help build blood circulation in my system. My body was lacking all the proper nutrients, and the buffet satisfied my bodies needs. Overall score for me as an American tourist is a 9.7 out of 10, other than the bed being a little hard and the massage table being wooden which our bodies usually are not designed for, this was perfect, and hope to come back in the future

Lovely location and cosy decor, especially of the reception and lounge area. Bed was comfortable. Lovely views from room and breakfast area. Good restaurant.
