Definitely not a 5 star hotel as it was sold to us by Teletext holidays. I would say it is 3/4 star the most. The staff were very friendly but the food was very repetitive. The beach restaurant was very poor as it served cold food and not much choice. However the hotel grounds were excellent and the hotel was very clean throughout. I would only go if I was on a low budget as it is better than other 3/4 star hotels which I have been in the past.
My husband and I stayed at the Jasmine Palace Resort in Hurghada last week, and overall, we had a fantastic time, though it definitely has a few quirks. Arriving at the lobby around noon, we were greeted with welcome drinks, and the check-in process took about twenty minutes. Our room was on the second floor with a partial view of the massive lagoon-style pool. It was spacious, featuring a very comfortable king-size bed, a clean bathroom with a powerful walk-in shower, and a small balcony where we enjoyed drinking Turkish coffee in the mornings. The resort grounds are stunning, beautifully landscaped with palm trees and winding pathways leading right down to the private beach. Finding sunbeds by the main pool could be a bit competitive if you didn't head down before 9:00 AM, but the beach area always had plenty of space. The Red Sea water right off the shore was crystal clear, and we even spotted some colorful fish while snorkeling near the small jetty. Dining-wise, the main buffet restaurant offered plenty of variety, though it could get quite busy during peak dinner hours around 8:00 PM. We particularly enjoyed the Italian à la carte restaurant for a quieter dinner atmosphere one evening. The animation team kept the energy high with aqua aerobics and beach volleyball, but it never felt too loud or overwhelming near our room block. As for our trips outside the resort, we booked two unforgettable excursions through Sheriff Egypt. First, we did the day trip to Cairo in a small group of up to eight people, accompanied by an individual guide. It was such an intimate and comfortable experience compared to those massive tour buses, and our guide gave us all the time we wanted at the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum without feeling rushed. Second, we went on a boat trip to Orange Bay (Hula Hula Island). The yacht was completely new, modern, and spotless, and the onboard guides spoke fluent English, making sure everyone was safe, well-fed, and having a great time snorkeling and relaxing on the white-sand beach. Jasmine Palace gave us a wonderful, relaxing beach getaway, but pairing it with well-organized, affordable tours truly made our Egyptian vacation unforgettable!
After a rubbish start to our holiday, with our original hotel unable to fulfil our stay we were placed in Jasmine Palace, The place is clean, the staff are really friendly, nothing is too much to ask, the waiters in the main restaurant are amazing especially with our youngest, the juice bar guy is great and always checked in with us. The staff genuinely want to help, haven’t been to much of the animation team shows as the little one likes his routine too much to stay up late. I would recommend this place.
I have only stayed a few days so far but have enjoyed it so far. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful. The gardening staff don’t get enough recognition. The cleaners do a great job. The fruit juice man is a legend. The animation team get everyone involved whether it’s around the pool or evening entertainment. Highly recommend.
It is vers good, food is delicions.
⚠️ A Avoid: Terrible Service, Hidden Fees & Discrimination – Not 5-Star!"I recently stayed at the Jasmine Palace Resort And Spa in Hurghada and had a deeply disappointing experience. This property is falsely advertised as a 5-star resort; it struggles to even meet 3-star standards. While the physical layout and location are fine, the atrocious customer service completely ruined our holiday.First and foremost, the reception staff and the bartenders at the lobby bar were incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service training. We felt we were treated differently and unfairly, potentially due to our Asian background. To make matters worse, when I tried to address these issues directly with the reception manager, he was entirely dismissive and refused to listen. The structural service failures during our stay were unacceptable:Hidden All-Inclusive Fees: Despite paying for a comprehensive all-inclusive package, the resort routinely exploits loopholes to charge guests extra. For example, they strictly charged us $3 for baby milk.Abysmal Room Requests: We had an insufficient number of beds in our room upon arrival. We had to wait an entire day for an extra bed, contacting the front desk roughly 20 times. Every single time, the staff falsely promised it would arrive in '10 minutes'.Overcrowded Pool Areas: The resort is vastly overpopulated for its capacity. There are nowhere near enough swimming pool sunbeds for the number of guests.Repetitive & Inauthentic Food: The main buffet serves the exact same food items every single day. Furthermore, their à la carte restaurant advertised as 'Indian food' serves highly inaccurate dishes that resemble Persian cuisine instead. The only saving grace was that the restaurant and poolside staff were okay. However, this resort is an absolute waste of time and money. I will never return and strongly advise other travelers to think twice before booking a stay here."
Very friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and entertainment was brilliant 👏
Location is glorious & very hot! Positive atmosphere, exceptionally kind, helpful & polite staff. Rooms are good enough for the amount of time spent in them. Amenities could be better. Spa is expensive & haggling is a MUST! We were all inclusive, food was varied & nice. Alcohol was not real - whiskey flavoured alcohol! Entertainment staff are enthusiastic & engaging but the range of evening entertainment left a lot to be desired! Needs to do better!
The hotel and grounds are stunning, we had a beach front room. The hotel is very large and things are quite far apart, so be prepared to walk. It was a 6 minute walk from our room to the restaurant. The alcoholic drinks were terrible, we couldn’t drink them. The soft drinks were fine. Food was average, but not good for children. I would take your own butter and Nutella for the pancakes! The evening entertainment was not good, it was set apart from anywhere and boiling hot. On the plus side, the pools are good but to get a sunbed we had to get before 6am to put towels down. The staff were not very friendly apart from the sand guy and a couple in the restaurant and our cleaner. The area is ok, some decent shops a few minutes walk away where we got some bargains but got hassled a lot to buy and felt quite intimidated. We went on a safari trip which I would not recommend in the hotter months, it was far too hot and I had a funny turn because of it. It was good and I imagine if you go when it’s cooler it would be much more enjoyable. Went to Hurghada town, it was carnage!! Could not cross the road and got hassled by all the shop workers. The marina is worth a visit. Also did the dolphin swim at dolphin world. I would rate it 5/10, lots of waiting around. Keep your towel cards safe as they will charge you £15 a card if you lose them. All in all an average holiday, I would not return to this hotel and would definitely go in a cooler month.
This is by far the worst hotel we've ever experienced. At arrival reception staff didn't really give us much info, not very helpful, and our room had so many problems, our room card didn't work properly, so a lot of hassles going back and forth to reception, turns out it was the actual door lock system that needed fixing. The bedding was very worn out and disgustingly uncomfortable, they even missed out on one duvet, when there's 3 of us but we only had 2 duvet, our air con didn't work properly, and when I asked reception to do something about our bedding, they didn't, I had to ask the cleaner myself the next day, and luckily our cleaner Ahmed was very nice, he went above and beyond for us during our stay. The hotel is very big, and we spent a whole day walking around actually doing 18k steps just to find out the information ourselves, to then seeing very small noticeboards tucked in different corners of the hotel, when they could have just informed us at reception. You cannot get a subbed unless you wake up very early to put your towel down to reserve it, I have never experienced something like this in any hotel, this type of mentality is not ok and its a norm for this hotel! The bar staff seem to all have a "whatever" attitude, when you ask for a drink from their menu they just make up the ingredients as they please, so the same drink we ask for each day will get a different type of drink every time! The shops inside the hotel didn't have any prices on them, they seem to charge you whatever as they please depending on how much you can pay! This I find totally unacceptable! So we only shopped just outside the hotel, a very good reasonably priced shop to get your snacks and souvenir called Antonella, highly recommended! The food was a hit and miss, the breakfast we find really awful, lunch and dinner were better, but so many flies inside the restaurant around the food was very off putting! The entertainment this hotel advertised is very misleading. During our 10 day stay, we did not see any of the cool shows they advertised. I even tried to have my nails done in their salon, and the lady who was doing my nails actually hurt me, my nail beds were bleeding on 3 different fingers! Her attitude was like it was normal for me to be bleeding! So I told her to stop because it was totally unacceptable! The only other nice people were a few restaurant staff who were always friendly with us, some pool and beach staff, and our cleaner. They are the few individuals that made our stay bearable. Otherwise the whole time we all couldn't wait to come back home! And overall we definitely do NOT recommend this place one of the worst experience ever!
Nice hotel, staff very helpful would recommend
We had a great stay at jasmine palace resort for 2 weeks. We had a lovely cleaner who was very helpful and kind and made us beautiful towel origami. We met some lovely lifeguards at the pool who made us feel very welcome
Nyamuch is the most beautiful and kind person She’s the best part of trip❤️
Very nice experience i absolutely love it🤍 And they have a really kind and sweet staff member her name is nyamuch , ofc i will retry the experience💕💕
fantastic experience, friendly staff , food plentiful and lots of things to do .
How has this hotel got a 5 star rating? Mum and daughter (15) week holiday. Arrival was great, arrived around 10 in the evening so me and my daughter just went straight to bed. Luckily we was up early in the morning and we decided to go for a walk while it was quiet to get our bearings, we realised we needed to reserve a sunbed as at 6am they where nearly all gone so this was the start of me having to set my alarm to take towels down to the pool or otherwise you wasn’t getting a sunbed. Had to do a daily walk to reception to get our room card re-activated, as if it goes anywhere near your phone it deactivates. Which is sometimes hard to do when you put things in your bag etc. by the evening of night 2 my daughter started vomiting and this then lasted until we came home. Nothing from the pharmacy helped and the only place she had eaten was in the buffets. The amount of flies on the buffet food is discusting…no covers or lids over any of the food. No waiter service in the buffet restaurants so you had to either leave your food or drink at the table to go get the other and hope nothing landed on your food/glass while you was away. The pool guys/lifeguards are so friendly always stopping for a chat or a “what’s happening”. Entertainment team around the pool are lovely, had a chat to Gift daily, she is such a lovely girl. Juice bar guys are all lovely and I enjoyed my daily iced latte (even though I had to pay extra for this) Room cleaners and ground workers all work so hard and are so friendly. What lets this hotel down is the reception staff and the bar men! So rude, was sick of being looked at like I was something they had trodden in, on my last day when I was asking a man at reception for help to get a late checkout due to my daughter not being able to move from the room as she was so sick he spoke to me that bad I pointed it out to him and told him to stop speaking to me the way he was. Not once was I offered a drink when I was around the pool even on the days I was on my own, I would of tipped if I was asked but I was walked past while the man next to me got asked. For about 5 days I had to keep telling the sunbed sellers I wasn’t interested in the spa treatments, the horse riding and everything else, by day 6 they finally left me alone. The hotel is clean, tidy, the grounds are lovely. The customer service however from the staff and the food and the hygiene in the restaurants really let this hotel down and for that reason I wouldn’t return to this hotel. Egypt however I would return to and I am looking to already at returning.
Very clean hotel, smile personal, everything was good
the location is so nice here and especially the atmosphere it’s always busy and has lots of entertainment on which is always a bonus. the rooms are very nice especially the bathrooms with alot of room in the shower and the views from the balconies are just amazing especially overlooking the beach in the day. i am here on a family trip and speaking to people the value is worth it especially if you are a family with little kids it’s perfect for them. the cleanliness of the rooms is good and the cleaning staff do the best they can to make it a comfortable place to stay especially with all the towel surprises on the beds. the noise level is okay it’s only really loud and the pool with little kids but apart from that it’s alright.
All the staff were super friendly and really helpful
Pretty amazing and wonderful
Came for 10 nights as a family of 4. Grounds are beautiful and hotel very clean. That’s where it ends. Food is worse than terrible and alcohol is just the same. Staff at the pool bar serving cooked food and then handling raw chicken, straight back to serving cooked food without changing gloves or washing hands at the least. Staff are very rude especially in jasmine bar, basically if you’re a woman and asking for premium drinks be prepared to be sneered at. I have never experienced what I have in any other hotel anywhere else in the world and certainly will never return. It comes to something when your best experience is meeting the lovely, welcoming taxi staff. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We have enjoyed many nights at the marina and the locals are lovely. I would never book here again and would never recommend to anyone to book.
amazing people, really kind and sportive also have a lot of activities!
Poor hotel. But starting positive, the staff are so friendly, always willing to help and will try and help you if you ask. Always smiling and this bad review doesnt reflect on the staffing at all. Its also a very clean hotel. But thats it for positives. The food is the worst we've had in all inclusive. Just terrible. Lo g waiting for lunchtime in the beachside restaurant. Things like mash potato and burgers being options at breakfast. No English breakfast options. Omelette is the best choice but even then not great. As for drinks, again the worst choices we've ever had. No cocktails, just shorts and beer. 1 pool bar for all the pools that serves alcohol. Some lovely juice based cocktails but no alcohol and an extra cost for those. Entertainment isnt great, repetitive and even charge extra for attending their 'special nights'. Never been charged additional for in-house entertainment at all before. Would not return even if it was for free.
Hotel is very nice & clean, lots to do. Food is good. Entertainment is ok. Rooms are cleaned every day and water is restocked. Some of the drinks are not included. Would recommend
Everything is very good, the stuff is the best
Incredible and beautiful Rooms are so clean and amazing Best value Service is so good
La taille des chambres les piscines la politesse du personnel.
La nourriture que ce soit au buffet ou dans les restaurants réservés. Les prestataires externes à l'hôtel qui viennent voir cela à l'intérieur de l'hôtel.
I have had the pleasure of staying at many five-star resorts, and this was, by far, the worst experience I've had. Hotel rooms: Our room was infested with ants, which was completely unacceptable for a resort claiming to be five-star. Despite the family room being extremely spacious, it was sparsely furnished and felt bare rather than luxurious. Service: The running joke among both guests and even some staff was that the gardens were looked after better than the paying guests. Unfortunately, that summed up the experience perfectly. There seemed to be a culture of poor customer service, particularly among some male staff members, whose attitude often came across as rude and dismissive. I even raised this concern with the hotel during our stay. One example that stood out was at the bar. After ordering a coffee, the bartender would prepare it, leave it beside the coffee machine, and expect guests to walk over and collect it themselves, despite returning to the main bar area where guests were waiting. This level of service is simply not what you expect from a five-star resort. Tipping: At dinner, it was often difficult to get any attention from the waiting staff. On one evening, I decided to tip the waiter as soon as I sat down, hoping it might improve the service. The difference was remarkable. The waiter hovered around my table for the entire meal, sent a fruit basket and a large bottle of Coke to my room the following day, and even reserved a table in his section for me every evening after that. Each day I tipped, and each day another fruit basket and bottle of Coke appeared in my room. While I appreciated the improved service, it highlighted a much bigger issue. Guests who tipped upfront received noticeably better treatment than those who did not, despite everyone paying the same premium price to stay at the resort. Exceptional service should be the standard for all guests at a five-star hotel, not something that depends on tipping. I would highly recommend avoiding this resort!
Jasmine Palace was an eventful holiday to say the least. Upon our arrival at the hotel we were aware we had booked two rooms, one for me and my sister and another for our parents, me and my sister are both under 18 so we were under the impression that the two rooms would be next door to eachother or atleast on the same floor but we were quickly informed that the rooms were in fact not even in the same building! They tried to tell us it wasn’t bad because the rooms were really close and told us there was a ‘private pool’ separating us. I’m not sure how skilled that specific receptionist was in english but i’m not sure he knew the meaning of private. Sure enough there WASNT a private pool seperating us just a normal pool. The whole room fiasco got sorted out quickly and we all decided to stay in the one room with the better view and quality. We never got refunded for the other room but the one room is huge. I expected a small pokey room as it was only meant to be two singles but no. Huge accessible shower and THREE balconies. The master bedroom was gigantic and the two rooms had a safe and fridge each . The majority of staff were absolutely delightful and were happy to help. Including the waiter than unfortunately for us had to go home halfway through our trip, ahmed. He was genuinely a pleasure to be around and he knew our drinks order before we even asked him for them the drinks were on the table! After ahmed left the new waiter we got was great too. He was very nice and welcoming and spoke great english. Do you ever get a trip where you don’t want to leave the staff. This would be one. There is only ONE lift in the whole establishment and the rest of the rooms are in seperate ‘blocks’ so if this makes sense you can’t walk from your room to reception and still stay on the second floor you would have to walk down the stairs and i’d you are by the sea or lower down in the resort walk ALL the way up to reception and walk up the stairs but for me that wasn’t a big problem i think it could be a bit more accessible for wheelchair users. There are shops in the hotel and outside the hotel but i would recommend just getting a taxi to anton bazar or the town. The shopkeepers are very eager to get you into their shop and honestly it scares you away. There are many salesmen that come round your sunbeds trying to sell massages and horse rides to you just don’t do it. The food was a huge let down as it was my first time in egypt and i expected more but im a picky eater and don’t like hotel food in general. My advice is to book a boat trip !!! not from the people inside the hotel but from somewhere in hurghada marina. You will get off snorkelling and depending on where you wish to go ( i suggest orange bay) the water will be amazing! Beware of the coral is gashed my dads foot so hard and he could barely walk for days. Finally the beach is man made and doesn’t go deeper than calve depth (i’m 5’8) I personally enjoyed the experience and would recommend you to come here but beware of scammers.
The location is Middle of nowhere you need a taxi to go to the main town where all the reasonable price shops £16 return from this hotel You can order uber but they’re all scammers want you to cancel the job for more cash then uber prices, receptionists are not friendly they need to learn how to smile & be more professional this hotel is supposed to be 5* but in my opinion it’s nowhere near, the fella in pool bar name Faisal AVOID him he only nice to certain people, although big claps to gardeners they kept the garden immaculate condition so tidy they work so hard in that heat hope they get enough pay, also the restaurant waiters are friendly as well apart from one i asked him to get me some drinks he told me to get it myself so that’s not the way you host your guests, rooms itself was fantastic big family room cleaners also deserve a big thumbs up kept our room well cleaned, remember one thing they all looks for tips if you tip them they will look after you, hotel itself is not too bad but some departments staff needs to be trained well, the day we were leaving receptionists was accusing me of not giving them the towel cards back which i did in the envelopes if the guy didn’t put it in the record how is this my fault? We didn’t even use their towels that was very unprofessional they kept us there for way more than 10 minutes as if we have committed some crime, the air condition broke down i had to wait nearly 2 days to get my rooms air condition fixed had to ring the reception 3/4 times they kept on saying 10min but their 10 minutes is never ending so when i went to reception they weren’t happy kept on saying to call them, safe box was dodgy, the big disappointment was the FOOD absolutely —10 no taste at all very bland & boring type of food fly’s are everywhere we were family of 4 we all had bad stomach, there’s 5/6 shops inside & outside the hotel DO NOT go to them shops all scammers, ended up with argument with this very rude shopkeeper inside the hotel second shop on the right, there’s two cash machines inside the hotel u can get Egyptian pounds without any charge if you have Revolut or Monzo EGP 4000 max per transaction, if you want to go to Luxor i suggest get your tickets from GET YOUR GUIDE app convenient, reasonable & easy, pick up & drop off from your hotels or else you can be scammed by locals, if you fancy going to Cairo do it by Flying which we did we went with Egypt air first flight & return early hrs next day means return flight was at 12.30am we took a taxi for all day from 8am to 17.00 pm £47 GBP luckily my taxi driver ALI was very nice & respectful i didn’t mind paying him a few quid extra cause he was nice be wise at the most annoying & uncomfortable area which is Pyramids area they are all scammers just waiting to rob you horse carriage drivers are the biggest scammers they force you tip them so you have no choice. Overall we had some experiences good & the BAD but one thing i can say we won’t be in any hurry to go back there. Happy Holidays 🤞🤞
The room was well kept and nice to stay in. The overall area was nice and the food was great and had a good variety. The pools were nice a spacious,
This is our first time at this hotel, the room is very good, very spacious and the shower is amazing. The cleaner is excellent , always ensuring that our room is restocked . The location is very good , near shops, right by the beach. The service is excellent, staff are very friendly and approachable always ensuring that they go above and beyond .
Excellent hotel, rooms are very clean and always get cleaned very well. Animation team is fabulous (especially Leoni). Would highly recommend for a family holiday
Very nice and comfortable rooms and delicious food. The pools are excellent and the hotel has a perfect location next to many shops and markets. It's definitely worth it's value and the entertainment team here is very special. The team is very fun and welcoming especially Eslam who has great vibes and makes everyone's stay the best as possible.
We have just got back from the Jasmine Palace where we spent a week there as a family of 3 having two rooms. First and foremost, the hotel is most definitely not a 5 star resort. It may have the facilities on paper, but that does not translate in the real world. The rooms are incredibly tired, beds uncomfortable and it looks like Stevie winder was doing a painting and tiling apprenticeship in our room. It also developed a foul ammonia smell in the bathroom halfway though the holiday. I'll start with the good points. There are plenty of pools to choose from and most importantly, you will never not find a sunbed. There's no worrying about having to get up early to get 3 sunbeds together. This was even the case around the activity pool. The quiet pools were exactly this, very quiet, almost to the point that it would be like your own private pool! The staff were very friendly and courteous and work incredibly hard. The grounds/gardens are very neat and tidy. The gardening team are constantly pruning, weeding and rending to the gardens. We didn't see a single cloud all week! The reception and maintenance team were incredibly efficient. Our daughters air cin stopped working in her room. I mentioned it to reception when we were out in the evening approx 9pm. We went back to our rooms about an hour later and it was all fixed. Exactly the same with our room. The lock on our patio door fell apart twice. Both times it was fixed instantly. Now the not so good bits. The food.: I know this is very subjective, but the food is pretty poor and from our experience gets worse throughout the day. There are two buffet restaurants one being up by the main reception, and the Aurora which is near the activity pool. This one seems a little newer and in our opinion, slightly better. Breakfast is good, omelettes are made fresh as are the pancakes. There's a good selection of pastries, cereals jams and of course continental meat and cheeses. Bizarrely you can have mashed potato and burgers for breakfast too !! Lunch is ok. Salad is a bit meh. Lots of weird unidentifiable pickled vegetables. There's usually a chicken or beef dish that is done at a cooking station along with a fish dish. There's also a pasta station. It's ok. Evening food is the worst of the day. It's just not very nice. Very repetitive. Don't get mi wrong, we didn't starve, but it was all just a bit disappointing. Rice with liver anyone!?!? On a side note, this is even worse if you are vegetarian. The selection for vegetarians is very limited. Drinks: There are several bars. But there is always a queue. The drinks are warm and the beer is predominantly from bottles and warm. I think I was only served draught beer about 3 times all holiday. The "spirits" are local. All inclusive spirits seemed to be brandy, gin, vodka and tequila. Whiskey, white rum etc were extra. The activity bar near the pool the staff seemed to like to argue/discuss between themselves and stop serving for several minutes even if the queue was long. There was also a distinct lack of anywhere to sit near the bars sunbeds are the only option. It's sometimes nice to just sit in the shade at a table, or on a sofa etc and have a drink outside, but this wasn't an option. Although the pools were plentiful and clean. They are quite tired, with the lining coming away from the wall in several areas. The pools are incredibly strict on the closing time too. It's like being back at school. Sunset wasn't until about 7:45pm, but on the stroke of 6pm the lifeguards would blow 3 whistles like the end of lunch break at primary school and order everyone out of the pools. Literally that's it, closed, go back to your room!! You couldn't even enjoy the early evening sun on your sunbed. The animation team worked very hard during the day. Always trying to do something with the limited resources they had. The evening entertainment seemed to be pretty dire. We walked to the theatre one night and walked straight back out again. I genuinely don't know who it's aimed at, but at 9 pm they were clapping their hands shouting "who is ready for the clown show" not us thanks! The next night was a "Charlie Chaplin show" we didn't bother, but it doesn't take a genius to work out what it entailed. Avoid the White party. It's a con. £10 per person with the promise of loads of games, bingo lots of prizes to be given away. No, it's a raffle that you have to buy tickets extra to the entrance charge. An entrance charge to the all inclusive disco bar!! There was one younger guy from the animation who I didn't think was entirely professional. I get that they have to interact with the guests, but the cynic/ protective parent in me thought that he seemed to 'interact' a hell of a lot more with younger teenage girls. It could've been me, but whether it was pushing in the pool, dancing in front of them, or grabbing their hand to try and lead them away to do an activity, it was always younger girls. This person also tried to force us to leave a review when we were waiting for our transfer. Fair enough, ask if we would be happy to leave a review, but after I said I would leave one when I got back, he persisted and said it would only take a minute, please leave one now. He even took my partners phone to get up Google maps to 'show' her how easy and quick it was to leave a review there and then. That is not a good look for the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed getting away with the beautiful weather. Other people's perception, or experiences may well be different and love the place. We are not complainers, we made the most of our holiday and though not horrific, we were pretty disappointed and would not return to the Jasmine Palace.
I had a stay beyond description—everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel is excellent in terms of accommodation, featuring beautiful rooms, professional-grade cleanliness, and wonderful views. You really don't need to leave the hotel; everything is right here. There are multiple swimming pools, an aqua park, a beautiful sandy beach, a pier extending into the sea, and a great variety of restaurants. Since the beauty of any stay begins right from the start, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the reception staff for their warm welcome, swift check-in, and smooth room assignment—especially Mr. Ahmed Ismail
Excellent resort, fantastic staff amazing holiday
We had an amazing time staff are very tentative for all your needs The entertainment was endless all through the day and night Food was great plenty to choose from defiantly will come back
Amazing, lovely staff. Everyone is so welcoming and lovely, rooms are clean and you may even find some funny towel animals ❤️
This year we fancied a change of Hotels, last 2yrs we've stayed at Sunny Beach Three Corners Hurghada. This time we stayed at Jasmine Palace Spa & Resort - 2 Adults, 1 Child (16) - 29th June - 9th July through EasyJet, also private Transfers. Upon arrival to Hotel we were greeted with Hotel Reception Luggage Handler who took our cases - Reception was mmaculate, Air Conditioned, Very Clean, Staff Helpfull. We checked in and was shown to our room - Room, 1 Double Bed, 1 Single Bed (Pull out Chair Bed), Room was very dated, All Green with Mahogany wood, standard colours for Egypt I'd say. First few days there was not enough towels each day was asking for extra to Cleaner, who was Brilliant every day for our room, also not enough water for 3 days, again Cleaner brought extra after asking (gave him a few tips every other day) but upon leaving on Check out Day gave him £10 and he was very chuffed, couldn't have done more for our room after talking to him, also with his Towel-gami. Few Days 1 of the 2 Key Cards would stop working but Reception quickly switched for another 2 (by end of holiday think we had 6 Cards 🤣). First few days the mosquitos loved me (5 bites on 1 arm, also 1 on finger which went abit funny) mosquito plug used in room, Citronella Soap used daily and Mosquito bands worn....did help as never bitten again....lad was not bitten once, Wife never ever been bitten, only ended up with 3 bites. In the Hotel there are 5 al la cartes - Mama Mia (Italian) Very Good food, Stanadard Italian Food but Slow Service (only 1 worker). Tiger Lilly (Chinese) Very Good, id say the best out of all, the Sushi was best ive had. Rasta Pasta, heard bad things, never ate there. Agave (mexican), never ate there. Jabur (indian) Very Good all round, again Good Food. All Restaurants & Bars had better options but these came at a charge which wasn't too badly priced. Jasmine Bar was on the 1st Floor (Reception) Lounge and was Air Conditioned (Thank God), most nights we had a Drink (or 2/3/4) here and also was an outside Terrace/Seating area. (Waiters would get to know you and bring Drinks, which we got to know and would also tip). Dunes Bar/Restaurant (Main) only went a few times for Breakfast/Tea as the Auro Hall was opposite us and was closer to our Block. Aurora Hall probably the better for breakfast (in my opinion) was closer for us tonuse each morning, would get up about 6.45, go to pool and get Sunbeds, have breakfast from 7, back to pool for 7.30/7.45, get Towels with Yowel card from 8am then Chill, to about 5pm. Pool (Active Bar) was the main Pool for everyone, also the Animation Team, which would come round about 9.45/10 and would really try to get you involved (sometimes we did), the Bar here served all Drinks, Snacks from 12.30pm (Chips n Nuggets) then Ice Cream and Slushy from 1pm. There was another 3 pools - Wave Pool/Bar which was Mainly Shaded and served Doughnuts & Waffles from 1pm, Kids Pool which was always full, Then another pool split into 3 with guards/fencing which had slides in also (tried only once 🤣), There was a number of life guards in each pool watching, as no Diving, Jumping of any sort was allowed (at first anyway). You can also ask for a Red Flag to stop some of the sellers like Hotel Spa, Massage, Juice Drinks, Beach Activities from bothering you. Person's i would have liked to see an info board for shows that was on for the week instead of each morningsome one saying/asking if you was going that night. Each morning i went to the Spa/Gym when opened 9am, for my 45minute workout immaculate. We had 1 little missapp in our Bathroom, We were 1st floor, block 2...Building works in a room below, 1 room to right of us, son was in shower 1 morningand heard a bang, though a cleaner had come in but part of the Sink had collapsed on to the floor, he rang and told me so i went to look, seen a manager on our floor so i explained(best i could) what i thought had happened, you could feel the vibration in our room being felt all through the room, and I think this had an effect on it falling off. They did fix (with what looks like Gorilla Glue). Onto the Beach, this is quite a big Beach with long pier, were towards the end of you can go snorkeling, did once but my/our kit wasnt the best. Had a Bar/Restaurant (Omni) also but didnt go in, tide was out most days and you could easily walk out a good 200mtr+ upto your ankles. Outside the Hotel we knew about a few places - Senzo mall, reminds us abit of Trafford Centre, but we visited the night Egypt were playing Australia and it was rammed. We looked around a few of the Shops, but 1 shop was the go to Shop "Spinneys" and it had everything. Bought some trincits and snacks, very cheap prices for things. We got a Taxi which was about 15min taxi from Hotel Reception, about £8. Lucas Bar at the Marina, absolutely amazing, proppa English food-Sunday Roast, brilliant value for money, 3 Extra Large Roasts, and i mean Extra Large.... 3 Deserts, about 8/9 Drinks (£50ish), and best thing about it was Wigan Warriors was on and we beat St Helens, and there was 2 Saints fans in 🤣🤣. The Hotel also showed the World Cup Football everyday and we were sat on the 2nd floor Terrace/Lounge most nights, and the best night was when Egypt beat Australia on Penaltys, Fireworks, Cheering all happening around us. When Egypt played Argentina, and was winning 2-0, it was like Euphoria around the Hotel, Egypt deserved to Win personally. The Hotel Shops are bit highly priced, there are shops literally 5/10min walk down the street across the road, very cheap, but literally like flies round 💩when you arrive near them. Hotel building works either side of hotel from 7.30am every morning. Through out the Holiday we did here some "Accents" that sounded familiar...there was a Family from Manchester (sorry didnt catch names) we spoke to for a few days/nights, also had a drink with 1 night. A young couple from St Helens - Josh & Hannah, had a few little natters with. John & Tina who we spoke to everyday abit and had a Drink with 1 night 👍. Overall it was a good Holiday, a few little niggles personally (but everyone makes it there own Holiday), Staff couldn't do enough some Days/Nights especially the Cleaners & Bar Staff. If we could put this Hotel Size/Grounds at the Sunny Beach Three Corners grounds, I dont think we would go anywhere else on Holiday, but overall it was somewhere new on our 3rd year in Egypt. Would we come back? Possibly just myself & wife, I personally dont think its a place for 14/15yr old+, id say mainly upto 14yr olds.
This hotel has given me soo much memories for both good and bad. We arrived on the 24th June and we landed back safely in the UK a couple of days ago. The first day we got there was a disaster but that was mainly family issues and the staff were extremely helpful to show us to our room for the first time. The room me and my family were given was really nice and genuinely couldn't complain about it; however my other family members had slight concerns in their rooms so I do not know if it is due to some selection of some rooms and the eldest has accessibility problems so she was not able to use the room she was in for showers, etc. We talked to the reception about this concern and they helped us out straight away with a new room able for my nana. Now for the food it was a bit dodgy. I am a picky eater but there was a lot of good options for everyone to choose from. I did try a lot of the things but the pasta was top tier. The food was all lovely but some of the concerns about sickness after eating some of the food is somewhat true. Most of my family fell un well with diarrhoea and sickness throughout the holiday, with me hitting it the hardest as i experienced it all throughout the holiday. It was significant for the first 2-3 days but after that it was come and go after that. I believe that i could have gotten alcohol poisoning from the nights out i had. Other than the sickness, the rest of the holiday was immaculate. The hotel is very large and theres stuff for everyone, from the chill areas around the wave pool to the entertainment are around the active pool. The entertainment team were like family and always welcomed me with a huge grin and they are genuinely some of the most funniest people you will ever meet. The entertainment around the day was really good around the active pool with their club dances, water polo and random festivals on different days, However the night time entertainment could be slightly improved as we decided we didn't want to watch full parts of it. Also, the hotel has a lot of bars to choose from and it really is easy to get a sun bed in the morning. The lifeguards are always soo kind and without a doubt some of the nicest people there. The only problem with these bars is that they wash the cups with their water, which is unsafe to drink. So that could also be another factor on why we was all ill. The hotel isnt that far to places like the Senzo mall (10 mins) and the Marina (30-45 mins). So if you want to go out and explore its pretty easy to if you order a taxi for the right amount. Overall, it was a really interesting experience for me and my family. I really enjoyed it but some of my family members were excited to go home. If I am going to be honest, this 5 star hotel is an average 3 star hotel in the UK, but that is the standards the Egyptian hotels have and a lot of other hotels will be similar to this one. I genuinely really enjoyed this hotel and we are coming again in February 2027. I hope you all find this extremely helpful and if you come to this hotel, I hope you have as much fun as I did!
Just spent a week here and we will post a honest review. After a long flight delay we arrived early hours and were checked in and escorted to our room! It was a huge 2 bed room and seemed to be of upgraded decor with comfy beds. Hamad was our room cleaner and made sure he topped up our water, tea/ coffee daily and even left some towel art!! We ate mostly in the AUORA as our 1st visit to the Dunes was like a free for all, filthy tables, poor service, and numerous families running amok which is equal to a “Pontins” in the sun, so we never used it again. Although the food was just average but basic it’s was definitely not 5* quality. The soft drinks were branded so that was ok but alcoholic drinks were disgusting for an AI so again definitely not 5*. Most bar staff around the pool bars were of a rude nature and had a very untidy appearance,we even saw some smoking on the job, very unprofessional in the hospitality industry so again definitely not 5* star. Also Maybe all staff could do with a lesson on customer service(tipped or not!) We will finish this review on a positive note and say the grounds are kept immaculate by the hard graft of the gardeners who work tirelessly and in our opinion this is the only area that 5* in Jasmine place plus they were the only staff who deserved the tips we gave cos they didn’t expect them so hats off to every single man in this role. Our week here was relaxing with plenty on sunshine but we would not return to jasmine as there are plenty more on that strip of hotels which are 5* and better value for the working class!
We stayed with family. We had a family room, and the shower had a glass screen overlooking the kids' room. Whilst it was thick opaque glass, you could still see a lot through it when someone was in the shower. We always had to leave the room when someone was in there. Very strange design, especially for a family room. The beds were ok, pillows were very hard, but there were some spare pillows which were better. Lots of options with regards to swimming pools, but again, whoever designed them never thought of older people. My mum is 72, and she could not get in the pool because there were no steps, just pool ladders. Only pool with easy access was the wave pool. Water in pools is also deep or very shallow, no transition as no steps. The sea is far, but we knew this. There is a reef at the end of the pier, and we snorkelled there every day. Saw lots of fish and even a sting ray. That was good. But this again is a design flaw for the pier. Because the water is so shallow right of the beach, they could have created more access points along where water was different in depth. Only access points again are where water is quite deep for someone who can't swim. So you either walk through the low water and rocks all the way to where water is a bit deeper or you sit in the very shallow water. My mum 71 and MIL 66 which were traveling with us do not swim are are both short, so no chance of going in the pools because of the ladder access and no chance of going in the depper sea without walking through all the rock pools and shallow water. Very bad design again and no consideration to needs of older visitors. My parents had a double room which smelled very bad. They never said anything as not the kind to complain, but that was not acceptable, and had I known, I would have tried to get them moved. But the people clening should have done something about this. The food was the same every day. There was plenty of choice and you could find something to eat, but it was the same stuff every day. In the evening we tried the al a carte restaurants. Chinese ok, maybe a 5 out of 10, the italian worst pizza and pasta I have ever seen. The egyptian was a buffet at the beach restaurant, the same things as in the main restaurant, but less choice. What is the point in that. After 3 days of these, we started going out for dinner. Drinks!!! Worst stuff ever. Cocktails are like sugar with water and some watered-down alcohol and something to give them colour. Worst stuff ever. We just drank coke as that was bottled and beer, which was also some local bottled beer. Glasses were washed by hand by the people serving if they were too busy. We actually saw a woman get served beer in the glass that my husband had just returned. After that, we just used our insulated cups when we could and brought bottled water from the room. The drinks were bad everywhere, not just the pool but even at the bars in the hotel. I understand paying for top shelf stuff, but it was not the alcohol that made the cocktails bad. I thought all inclusive means all inclusive, but there was a juice bar that made fresh drinks and nicer cocktails. But even those cocktails were not great. Ice cream was really bad, and it was only available at the pool bar for a short while. The grounds are great and people were always tending to the grass and flowers and trees. A lot of hard work seems to go into that. But the ptahs are craked and the tiles are all in bad shape. The animation team was great, always coming over to make sure people were ok. Staff overall were nice if you tipped, which we always did. We tried the massage, and it was ok. There's nothing to rave about. Not the best, not the worst, but it was strange to hear the lady giving me a massage asking every 10 minutes if i like it and if i have a present for her. We only came here as we were stuggling to find a hotel that we could book via travel agents from 3 different countries. I am sure people will like it, especially if this is your first time in Egypt or 1st time going all inclusive, but I thinks there are better options for this price.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Jasmine Resort was fantastic. This was our third visit to Hurghada, and without a doubt, this was the best hotel we’ve stayed at. We have finally found our place in Hurghada and will definitely be back. A special thank you to Atef in the Aurora Restaurant. Every day our tables were already together, drinks for us and our children were waiting, and he always took time to joke with the kids. Hamid was also excellent. We would also like to thank Ahmad and the team responsible for keeping the hotel grounds clean. The entire resort was spotless, and Ahmad always greeted us with a smile and “How are you, my friend?” even though it wasn’t part of his job. The food was very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a few breakfast items at dinner (even chocolate cereal with milk for children) and extend breakfast by 30 minutes. The late breakfast doesn’t offer the same selection. The entertainment was enjoyable without being intrusive. The young acrobat balancing on stacked cups and the light show were amazing. The animation team, especially their energetic Brazilian leader, did a great job. The sandy beach with a gentle entrance is perfect for families. The long pier lets you choose between shallow water or snorkeling over the coral reef, which is well protected by lifeguards. There were always plenty of sunbeds at both the pools and the beach, without needing to reserve them early. We also highly recommend the excursion company in the hotel lobby. We booked the 3-hour quad safari with them, and it was cheaper and much better than the one we previously booked through a tour operator. The group had only four quads, so it felt like a private tour. Don’t forget—you can negotiate the price! Finally, congratulations to the gardeners. The gardens are beautiful, full of different trees and plants, and it’s impressive how they maintain everything so perfectly in the desert climate. The whole staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Nothing felt forced. Thank you for making our holiday so special. We can’t wait to come back!
We recently stayed at Jasmine Palace Resort in Egypt and overall had a really enjoyable holiday, with a few significant issues that unfortunately mean we wouldn't return. The rooms were lovely, very spacious, and perfect for our time here. The beds were incredibly comfortable, there was a large walk-in shower, and we were lucky enough to have a great view overlooking the pool. Our room was also in an ideal location, close to the beach and all of the resort's amenities. The only minor criticism is that housekeeping could have been a little more thorough at times, but overall we were very happy with the accommodation. The staff throughout the resort were fantastic and really made our holiday. The entertainment reps were brilliant, and we'd especially like to thank Youssef Joo and Mo ( resort reps). They were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The club nights organised by the hotel were also excellent—we had such a great time and met some brilliant people, which became one of the highlights of our trip. Unfortunately, the biggest issue with our stay was the hotel doctor, who is employed by an external company. This experience was so poor that it has completely changed our opinion of returning to the resort. A friend of ours was charged nearly £2,000 for what amounted to two IV drips and two small sleeves of tablets. At no point before treatment were we given any indication of the costs involved, not even a rough estimate. After the treatment, we requested an invoice explaining the charges but were repeatedly refused unless payment was made first. That is simply not how medical billing should work. The doctor was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the process. We also raised the matter with Guest Relations, hoping they could help us obtain an invoice or resolve the situation, but unfortunately they were unable or unwilling to assist. Being in a country where stomach illnesses can be quite common for tourists, it's essential that guests can trust the medical services associated with the hotel. In our experience, there was a complete lack of transparency, and we genuinely felt that unnecessary treatments were encouraged without any explanation of the costs beforehand. Charging nearly £2,000 without first discussing fees or providing an itemised invoice is completely unacceptable. We strongly urge the hotel to review the medical services offered through this external provider, as our experience was one of the worst parts of an otherwise enjoyable holiday. The beach itself was beautiful, with lovely soft sand and warm, clear water. However, it's worth noting that the sea is extremely shallow. Even after walking around 100 metres out to the buoy line, the water was still not deep enough to properly swim. That's obviously due to the natural coastline rather than the hotel, but it's something to be aware of if you're hoping to swim or snorkel, as neither is particularly good here. Finally, I would strongly advise guests against booking the horse or camel excursions offered from the hotel. The animals appeared to be badly treated and clearly overworked. During the intense daytime heat, they had little or no visible access to food or water, which was upsetting to see. Based on what we witnessed, I would not recommend spending any money on these excursions. The food was probably the biggest downside of the resort for us, although this will depend on your personal tastes. If you have specific dietary requirements, are travelling with children who prefer plain food, or are generally a picky eater, you may struggle to find suitable options. There was very little in the way of simple, plain meals, and we often found ourselves eating out during the week because we couldn't find enough food that suited our preferences. That said, when we did find dishes we enjoyed, they were excellent and very well prepared. On the other hand, the drinks were consistently fantastic, and the bartenders were always friendly, attentive, and happy to keep our glasses topped up. Overall, if you're an adventurous eater, you'll likely have a much better experience than we did, but if you're particularly fussy with food, this probably isn't the best hotel for you. Overall, Jasmine Palace Resort has many positives: spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic staff, great entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the shocking experience with the external medical provider, the lack of support from Guest Relations regarding such a serious matter, and the concerns over animal welfare mean that, sadly, we would not return. This version is firm and detailed while focusing on your firsthand observations and clearly distinguishing your experience from conclusions about intent, which also makes it more suitable for posting on public review sites. DO NOT use the hotel doctor!!!
My husband and I are here now and cannot find any faults. We got a free upgrade on arrival, room 3220 with a glorius pool view. Staff go above and beyond to help you. All the A la carte restaurants serve lovely food. Always something to eat at the buffet restaurants with plenty of variety. This is 1 of our best holidays and im glad i chose it for our 10th wedding anniversary and my 50th birthday. If you have an occasion ler the staff know. 1 issue with room card not working but staff resolved it instantly. Plenty of sunbeds around all the pools and on the beach. We will return. Rooms are cleaned and beds made every day by the lovely cleaning team who have made our stay entertaining with the towel displays. I'm glad we didn't listen to the negative reviews because we are having an amazing holiday. The family of turtles you can see from the pier is an added bonus. Bring snorkeling gear because you can see lots of fish and rays at the beach.
Hotel was ok but cleaness zero never mopped floors in 10 dsys we were there. Staff was friendly food was good but as for drinks etc very poor

This is the best in whole Egypt
It is a really good hotel! Nice people
I am writing this to strongly warn other travelers about our experience at this hotel. Back in March, I accidentally left 3 Hard Drives in a room drawer in Room #3211 when packing up to go home. These 3 Hard Drives contained over 20 Years of irreplaceable, priceless Happy family holidays and Our Personal Memories that meant the absolute world to us.both Despite calling the hotel every single day and writing to them repeatedly to get them back, I have received absolutely zero response. Total radio silence. They have completely ignored all of our emails and phone calls, leaving us completely heartbroken over the loss of our sentimental data. Please be incredibly careful with your belongings if you stay here, as the customer service and communication if something goes wrong is non-existent. A deeply disappointing and upsetting Heartbreaking Experience.
This hotel was very nice to stay in the rooms were cleaned every day and we also walked in to towel arts which was very nice. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. One of our favourite restaurants was the Mama Mia Italian, Emad especially was very kind welcoming and gave us very good service every time we ate there and the food was very nice it never disappointed. Location was very good wasn’t far from the airport and there was also a mall not too far away from the hotel!! The animation team was also very welcoming and entertaining during the entire stay which created a very good atmosphere!!
Stayed here with my fiancée for a holiday. Overall was a good experience. Good bits: The staff are so brilliant, they’ll do anything to help you if you ask (even give their dinner up if you miss service like we did!) and made friends we will keep in contact with. The general facilities are good; many food and drink choices, beautiful beach, and when you have the red flag (recommended to stop the salesmen bothering you - it’s their job, but annoying when you want to relax), the staff make sure they leave you be. Any issues they act quickly and do their best to resolve Cleaners make real effort with towel decoration, and we celebrated our anniversary and they went above and beyond decorating the room Bad bits: Food was often lukewarm and many (including us) did get a holiday bad belly costing us a couple of days. The room keys are incredibly sensitive! We changed ours most days until told being near your phone breaks them (which is hard to manage these days), and if like us you’re by the beach it’s a long hot trot to reception The honeymoon package ‘special beach meal’ was just a table in restaurant, with a balloon on the chair, and a cake that read happy birthday! Hotel does need a bit of updating - the air con and controls are showing age and have no instructions, and as mentioned room access is temperamental Overall would stay again having been twice, though this time was a lesser experience than before.
Were do I start! We are currently here at the Jasmin palace. If I could leave i would. We travelled over from luxor after finishing a Nile cruise. Greeted by a surly male receptionist. No welcome drinks. Told to put luggage in corner and follow him. He proceeded to give us are wristbands and told us to get lunch from upstairs. Turns out the dinning room (pig sty) was down stairs. The food was good but the restaurant is full of noise,, people over filling their plates, kids running around and rude unsmiling staff members. Rooms !we were offered three! First one, dark, filthy view of a roof top and a building site with construction noise. Second room, after we had asked for a clean room with a better view and in a quieter place was offered right next to the dinning room and entertainment. The room was ok though. Third, this is where I gave up..... Two separate beds, not a king....... Right next to the children's pool!!!!!!! It dark, it smells of mildew head board broken and the bedsheets are thread bare, dirty and bobbled. The nicest staff we have spoken to so far is the cleaner. Who is lovely and introduced himself. . We stay here 3 years ago and it was lovely. It's now a shoddy place , far from a palace. Please see photos. I normally only try to write positive reviews. See the ones from Giza and Luxor. At the moment I can't wait to leave but we're stuck here for five days. Sad end to an amazing holiday.......
It was incredible! The entertainment, the staff, the service. Amazing! Brilliant for family’s looking to do excursions, we did snorkeling over the red sea and quad biking in the desert! A party on monday night and evening entertainment every night. Transfers to the hotel from the airport was very easy to find!
Hotel nice good experience and very nice people and beautiful place

It was good vacation and was good te with the animation team and also was soon good food in the restaurant
Rooms are out dated the shower is like a tap ,the drinks choice is terrible without you paying extra for them when ur ment to be allinclusive, snack bar all the food is dished out useing there hands no choice nothing is cooked fresh terrible for a 5star will not be comeing back here in a hurry
We recently stayed at this resort and would rate it 3.5 stars overall. While it boasts some undeniable highlights, it ultimately falls short of a true five-star rating due to a few areas that need management's attention. Previous reviews had us seriously considering changing hotels before our trip, but we are so glad we went, as our experience was nowhere near as bad as those reviews made it out to be. We truly enjoyed our holiday here. It is clear that in its heyday, this was probably a fantastic hotel. Although the entire property is kept beautifully clean, it is just feeling a little tired in places. The absolute standout feature of the resort is the immaculate grounds. The world-class topiary gardens are an absolute wonder and a credit to the hard-working landscaping team. The beach is also excellent, making it perfect for wading, and the quiet adult pools offer a peaceful, relaxing escape. We found that using manners goes a very long way with the frontline staff, who are incredibly friendly and doing their absolute best with the tools they have. Another major highlight was the food. We tried all six themed restaurants during our two-week stay and found the food in all of them to be very good. The Indian and Mexican restaurants were our favourites, followed closely by the Egyptian restaurant and Rasta Pasta, where the chef kindly shared his recipe for garlic tomatoes. It was wonderful to see the top chef frequently walking around the restaurants to personally check on the food quality. For future travellers, we recommend bringing USD, as US Dollars are highly preferred for tips and extras. The resort was peaceful during our stay, meaning sunbeds were always available. If you grab a red flag from the towel station, it successfully stops external beach vendors from bothering you. It is also wise to bring your own snorkel gear and beach shoes to enjoy the pier area, though they can be purchased onsite for around $20. The property also features a handy ATM and a reliable, fixed-price hotel taxi service which makes exploring Hurghada Marina, Senzo Mall, and Hurghada Town incredibly easy. However, there are a few areas where the resort could improve guest comfort. The rooms themselves are just "okay," and though we requested upgrades via email and at reception, the resort was too full to accommodate us. It was also odd to put a married couple in single beds. The entertainment is quite low-key, and because the resort completely shuts down by 10:00 PM, some of the large lounges and bars in the main building can feel a bit empty in the evenings. A few extra touches would really lift the atmosphere, like lighting up the beach at night or making the pay-to-play games room free for guests. Our main frustrations came down to minor operational details. During our stay, the main pool was drained for maintenance, and a lounge was closed for works without any notice, which was a bit inconvenient. There is also a bit of a resort-wide issue with room key cards failing, which left us and several other guests relying on cleaners or long walks to reception to get back into our rooms. Finally, some of the infrastructure needs a gentle refresh. The paving has cracks that can be hard to see due to the very low evening lighting, and serving drinks in cracked glasses or plastic cups doesn't quite match a five-star standard. We also noticed staff scrubbing the secondary pool mid-morning, which would be much better done early before guests start swimming. Ultimately, the resort is beautiful to look at, but while management focuses heavily on the gorgeous gardens, the infrastructure just needs a little extra care to bring it back to its full glory.
Amazing hotel, animation staff are the best, food needs work on it, overall good experience
Hotel was amazing and in a great location. Animation staff are so kind and make you feel welcomed. Atmosphere in the day was great and night was just as good. The room was gorgeous and modern and great value for money.
Mama Mia Al carte absolutely fantastic! Service was wonderful, food was stunning!!!!!! Friendly, clean, immaculate restaurant! Cannot fault in any way shape or form, went above and beyond! Pizza was 10/10 and the beef and creamy mash was cooked perfectly. Attia, ismael and emad thank you so much! You are all a credit to jasmine palace <3
The reality was so much better than what we read on the reviews. The food was adequate in the buffet restaurants and the ala cartes varied from not very good to very good. Our favourites being Mamma Mia for Italian and Tiger Lily for Chinese. Contrary to many reviews, we found all of the staff to be very friendly, polite and helpful. Our belief is that some of the reviews were based on people's poor and demeaning attitude towards some of the staff which we personally witnessed. Our room was large, clean and modern - maybe unlike some others. Whilst we thought this was going to be a relatively cheap, basic getaway, we have decided to return again next year as we have enjoyed ourselves so much. Thank you Jasmine Palace Resort and Spa 😊
Great hotel, great staff would definitely recommend and will most likely be back again.
Hotel is absolutely fantastic, the grounds are stunning, rooms good food good with plenty of activities.. The Animation team are brilliant especially Tony what a nice guy he is, very polite always smiling and willing to help.
Had a bad start to the holiday because of broken items in the rooms but staff was very helpful (Tony) is a fantastic worker who was very helpful and quick to make sure my holiday was as perfect
Was a good venue food could be better but good experience
My partner and I stayed here in early June and our experience of the resort has been amazing! Location- excellent location with a lovely beach on the resort. Quite a few shops outside the resort if you want and need to venture out. The shop right next to the resort has friendly staff and gives good prices. Atmosphere- wonderful atmosphere, lively during the day but at night it is lovely and quiet near the rooms. Rooms- our room was very spacious and had everything that we needed. We. We’re given 2 bottles of water each and a fresh roll of toilet paper every day. The cleaners are phenomenal and leave you with nice towel statues each time. Service/staff- absolutely phenomenal service. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. Notably the staff working in the pool-bars were outstanding particularly Mohammad, and Ali as well as the staff around the wave pool. Food/drink- The food got better as the holiday went on more so in the buffet restaurants. The A La Carte restaurants were amazing with friendly staff and massive portions as well as a wide range of options to choose from. The drinks were tasty and enjoyable in the sun. All in all this was an amazing resort to stay at which we both enjoyed fully.
Our trip to Hurghada Egypt started with a 4hr flight delay at Gatwick, the hotel that we booked was the Jasmine Palace Resort which looked amazing as they do in photos, the hotel was tired looking and in need of repairs throughout. Our first day we sat the beach relaxing due to our arrival time that morning and was approched by a rep offering a Spa treatment, At first i said no thank you and that we have just arrived and chilling out, and as they do he ignored me and sat down and offered us a facial each for £240 thats £120 each for two sessions the second session was free lol, so i thought i'd go for it and treat my partner and myself. While having the facial they said we both have very bad skin on our back and would benefit with a back treatment, i asked how much, they said " i'll give you a special price" they just went ahead and did the treatment and after, they asked for another £500 so that would come to £740 for 2 hrs work so i refused to pay, after getting the hotel involved i had it all reduced and pay £250 which i still think is a rip off. SO BE CAREFUL if you ever go there, they will try and rip you off. The second thing that happen was after we had a swim in the wave pool, my partner had a reaction to the chlorine, she came up with a massive rash on her body mostly on her legs (shins). Went to see the hotel Doctor who gave her treatment, fitted a cannula into her hand which hurt like hell she said, she was given two lots of saline with antihistamines and gave her some creams ( we had medical insurance) but he wanted her to pay £2400 to him in cash/card once again we refused and contacted our insurance company who told us not to pay a penny and that they would deal with it all, but, he kept chasing us for payment which he never got. Once again BE CAREFUL. Another thing that got to us was the fact they wouldn't take certain $ notes for payment, thats in the shops and anywhere else, if the note was worn or had a tiny spilt they would not take it, so if you take Dollars make sure they are in perfect condition. They love the Britsh Pound..... they don't like their own currency...... One last moan, Tips given to everyone, can't even go to the toilet without being asked for a tip even if they do nothing for if..... I would never recommend to anyone this hotel or even Egypt we will never be going back......as i said at the begining we had a 4hr delay at Gatwick, on the way home the flight was cancelled should have flown at 14.30pm and we were taken to another hotel to stay for the night, we had to wait until 5pm that day to fly home the fights were with TUI - SHOCKING TREATMENT FROM THEM ALSO.
Great stay overall This is a wonderful hotel with plenty to like. The cleanliness is excellent throughout, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is really pleasant and relaxing. Entertainment is generally good, though it could be improved on some nights and would benefit from more variety. One area for improvement is the food selection—there needs to be more choice of English-style dishes. Also, the cocktails are a bit inconsistent; different waiters make them differently, so the taste varies each time you order. That said, we had a fantastic holiday overall and would recommend it.
This is my second time here in 6 months, and we had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The hotel offered great value for money, with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The location was convenient, the facilities were very well maintained, and there was always something to do. The food had plenty of choice, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would happily return in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
Just came back from a week staying here and have to say mixed thoughts on the place. The location is perfect My room was gorgeous, right on the beach The staff are great, always friendly and ready to help with a smile on their face Unfortunately the food, for me, was awful 😞 it has to be the worst All Inclusive hotel I have ever stayed at - I have been to Egypt 3 times before and the food has always been amazing - not here The drinks were so watered down I doubted whether there was actually any alcohol in some of them I did venture to the à la carte restaurants and they were slightly better (only slightly) - best was Tiger Lily and Agave. Jabur was ok but wish I’d avoided the Om Ali on the beach because it was just another buffet only with meat on a mini barbecue at your table. I hate to criticise a hotel and this is just my opinion but they really need to up their game with the food - maybe they need to visit other hotels to see what their competition is 😂 Five stars it’s definitely NOT I’d rate it about a 3 ⭐ at most, but again that’s just my opinion I would never return and definitely never recommend this hotel 😞
Had the best holiday in Jasmine Palace Resort and Spa. Right from the moment we arrived all the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Would just like to say a massive thank you to Ibraham at reception. He went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and even organised something special for my son’s birthday. Also to Adel the lifeguard at the kids pool, thank you the kids had a fab time and he always got us sunbeds around the pool. We as a family will definitely return.
Good was good rooms si clean animatiom si crazyyyy
Nice hotel and good food sooo mich
Good hoiday so mich food was good and the room is so clean
This hotel matched the brochure description and was, based on previous trips to Egypt, very much as we expected it would be. The difference was made by the staff who were really friendly. Even the reception staff😀. The stand out guys were the ones in the beach restaurant. We spent pretty much every day down there. Lunch bbq was superb (number 1 kofta chef) and the drinks were easy to order and plentiful. Top guys behind the bar and waiting on. Snorkelling was limited by rough seas but worth it when available. We will visit again.
It was a nice Holiday for me and my damals the workers was Whery frindyl and nice. I would always come back.
Very good , good food , good music , good animator evriting is good
what can i say.. party of 39 from oldies to kiddies and i dont think 1 of us had too many good things to say. food was just ok in main dining areas but most of the restaraunts used not good. The standard of alchahol from beer to spirits shocking. soft drinks warm and flat. 3 of the the party had to have medical intervention with intravenous drips ££££ and so many had the so called (2 bob bits). 1 attempt to enter the late disco we were told $10 to get in each even with a free pass given by a rep the previous day. wave pool was ok for under 5s. The rooms were clean and tidy with comfortable bed and good shower. I would not recomend to anyone.
This is truely the worse all inclusive we have ever been too. Avoid avoid avoid. Out of 32 of us three have had iv drips and charged over 3 and half grand. Everyone has at least one day of stomach illness and mozzy bites are upto about 500 between us all. The drinks are undrinkable. Flat from bottles and warm. Glasses just rinsed between customers. Entertainment awful and try to charge for disco. One positive the Marina is lovely and great food. An orange Bay is beautiful.
I wouldn't touch this hotel with a barge pole. Rooms are very outdated and very dirty, and everyone is falling apart. Food is just not up to the standards, and you would it thought it would be. The drinks are not what they are. Very poor quality, food is very limited to what you can eat. You would have thought that being a 5 star, you would expect great things. Not really. Entertainment is wack. Playing swearing music in front of the children. I will not be visiting this hotel again. Absolutely Rubish! Rubbish food, rubbish drinks, rubbish rooms, and rubbish entertainment. Some of the nights we had to leave to go out and get decent food.
The place was good and comfortable
The staff they work in the bar and the restaurant most of them they don’t Care if you need anything like drinks specially if you speak Arabic or you are Egyptian. But I’m a United States person. I stayed there for five days no body asked me if I need anything to drink absolutely nothing and they don’t don’t care at all.
Not much food choice for English people. Nothing much to do at night just 1 show for 1hour bur after that Nothing. You have to pay for pool table with is very old table. The local beer is terrible but you can oay for hinekin beer . Roms lovely and gardens .pool not heated and are in need of updating. No where to go at night unless you go to harbour witch is £16 taxi ride .if you want relaxing holiday the have look.
Worst place i have ever been in Hurghada
Brilliant hotel with lovely staff, really friendly people who would help you with absolutely everything. Lovely food and drinks also. Would highly recommend for all family’s and couples
Great place with lovely people who would do anything for you, we went as a family of 3 and we have already booked for next year
We stayed here about 10yrs ago and since then the hotel has changed a lot. The website picture is from years ago and there are now new pools and hotel is better. I must start by saying the gardeners need to be commended for their work, the gardens are wonderful and the gardeners were always out working hard in the heat of the sun. They work relentlessly and feel they can get overlooked. All the staff were very accommodation and friendly, a big shout out to Rania in active bar for such wonderful service and is a great team member who works very hard. Our room, 2227 was a little dated but spotless and our room man did an excellent job in keeping us topped up with water and made sure we had everything we needed, a huge thank you. We ate most meals in Auroa restaurant, much quieter than dunes restaurant. The egyptian ala carte was excellent, we ate there twice during our 10 nihht stay. Chef cooked the meat fantastically , allcooked to order and being down on beach area was lovely. The Chinese and Italian were also good, although the Mexican wasn't to our taste but nice to eat in a different setting. The only negatives I have are to ditch the plastic straws and platic bags holding cutlery, save the plant . We were woken up by our neighbouring room 2226 at 11pm and 1am on the same evening resulting in me having to go to reception the second time to complain, this was dealt with by the reception staff and they apologised for this, not the fault of the hotel or staff but just annoying. Pool area clean and towels available and always easy to get a sun lounger Overall we had a lovely 10 days in hurghada which I deam my second home having travelled numerous times. Tip - if you don't want to be disturbed by guys selling trips, camel rides or massages, ask pool guys for red flag to tie around your umbrella base, they didn't disturb us once. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
We arrived quite late in the evening and whilst the receptionists fought with the photocopier, we were offered a late dinner. Not much was on offer but we didn't expect too much at that time of night anyway but regrettably the buffet food after that didn't improve much in the following days. Service during these food services were pretty mixed. We got 'in' with a particular waiter during breakfast at the main restaurant and he was excellent. Any time we visited the secondary restaurant down by the active pool, we were often largely ignored by the staff there. The Jabur Indian restaurant that we visited on night 2 was excellent. The food was delicious and the service good. The Om Ali Egyptian barbecue restaurant we visited on night 4 was tasty but the food was lukewarm at best although not sure much could've been done about it really. The Chef was very friendly and quite funny and the experience was decent overall. We used their in lobby taxi service a couple of times. Firstly to visit Senzo Mall. Hussein Abdo, our driver was wonderful and we had an excellent time with him. Unfortunately our second experience raises questions. We wanted to visit El Gouna Marina as we had an afternoon planned there but unfortunately, despite charging us for the journey our driver took us to Hurghada Marina. When we questioned it, he called their lobby desk who argued that we had paid only to go to Hurghada and then when we argued back, told us we couldn't go to El Gouna without reservations -which we had. He then told us we asked for Marina despite being asked for El Gouna, and then told us El Gouna was too far and we would have to pay 3000egp more. We told our driver to simply return us to the hotel and when we tried to speak to the hotel staff about the matter were greeted with argumentative attitudes. It felt truly like they had essentially circled the wagons to protect themselves rather than genuinely trying to resolve the issue. The rooms were fine. Bed comfortable but quite dated, the air con was rattly and occasionally omitted an unpleasant odour but it didn't last and was serviceable. Drinks from the assorted bars were very hit and miss. If you found a bar tender who could be bothered, they'd make something quite tasty but otherwise it could be pretty poor and every now and again you'd get a beer or soft drink that has clearly come from the dregs of multiple bottles. The Egyptian red sea coast is full of incredible resorts at reasonable prices. This wasn't one of them. Try somewhere else.
The cab company in the lobby scammed us, paid to go to el gouna marina, they took us to hurghda marina and then said we would have to pay more. Then said we paid half of what w actually did. Reception and manager were uninterested and said that it was us that were wrong. We asked to see the cameras that the taxi guy said would prove we didnt pay what we said, they dont actually cover the area. The staff around the hotel are lovely, but reception and customer relations is poor. They have no interest in helping. They were dismissive at check in aswell. The food was ok but not amazing. We stayed at Cleopatra resort makadi bay last year for near enough the same price. This was definitely no where near the same standard as that. Also expect to have views of building sites.
Please book an other hotel! Hotel you have nothing to do. Food is not good. And not friendly! 3 times in Egypte and now never again!
this hotel is amazing. it was our 3rd time here as a couple. all the staff remembered us and made it feel like home. the room was beautiful (deluxe room). it was cleaned everyday. the pools are lovely and had no problem finding a lounger. The grounds are stunning and all the staff work so hard to make you feel comfortable. the food is okay but they dont really cater for English but we always found something to eat. the juice bar is out of this world although you have to pay for these but its all fresh fruit and very tasty. Muhammed is a very polite and kind man who works there who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome so say hello to him. ignore the negative reviews as your stay will be amazing and you will want to return like we did.
I will write a separate review about the whole experience. However DO NOT book to do the camel excursion with this hotel. The camels are abused. One of them was bleeding at the mouth, I pointed out to the tour guide multiple times and he didn’t care. He raised his hand at one point and the poor camel flinched… I haven’t stopped thinking about this since. The camel kept stamping its feet and making noise whenever he came near them. They are cruel to the camels and the donkey. This needs to stop, they are in such bad condition and I regret going on this excursion. My heart goes out to the animals under their care, the man was cruel standing on the camels legs and kicking the donkey out the way. No compassion and I feel disgusted. Poor poor babies. As a company sort this out. The “guides” need sacking due to animal cruelty. Very very poor and will be sharing my experience with others. Disgusting.
Stayed here as a group of 4 adults, place was lovely and tidy. Animation team had you up doing activities all the time. Food was nice and hot. Entertainment was plenty. Nice ice cold drinks.
For a five star hotel, the rooms were very dated however they were a clean. The swimming pools were very cold . The exterior looked amazing well kept gardens. The food in my opinion was not that great. They obviously cater for many different nationalities however, we struggled to find a decent meal instead we were picking little bits the last two days my wife and I had real upset stomachs we both had a salad on that particular night in the on-site Indian restaurant would not recommend. The staff in the hotel were amazing. They can't do enough for you very friendly. I've been lucky enough to travel to various countries, but for me, the food offered was not that great very disappointing, the pastries and the bakery were fantastic. I just feel with the rest of the food they made it very complicated. Not sure if that makes sense. Just feel there was far too much choice and not all good choices..
Positives: Shout out to great staff: Rania (my habidi!) & Bahd - Active pool bar. Isa, Mo & Paul- animation team. Abdelrahman - restaurant Aurora! Egyptian restaurant Om Ali on the beach is the best non buffet restaurant available! Beautiful setting and great quality food! Beach setting is romantic. Rasta Pasta poolside restaurant is great food also! Highly recomend above Mamma Mia restaurant! Mexican restaurant Agave was our 3rd fave non buffet restaurant, which also has a really nice outdoor space with a bar for chilled evenings. Aurora buffet restaurant was closest to us and highly recomend as it isn't as busy as main Dunes restaurant. Active Pool was our favourite; music played between 1000-1600 plus activities such as Aqua Gym/ aqua zumba which i loved! Wave pool was great fun! Red flags available at towel station - get one each day to stop vendors interrupting you (it's typical Egyptian culture so get used to the hassling for money/sales if you leave the resort). Spa massage was lovely! Shabidi was brilliant! Knocked down price to £60 - Always haggle! (Though I hate it personally and thankfully partner did it) Cleaner did really cool towel animals left for us! Room was clean and good size. Great size bathroom. 4 bottles of water provided daily was a big plus! Check in easy and smooth. For excursions you can 24hrs in advance request lunch bag which was good! Late Check out late fee was £30 for 6pm. All inclusive drinks were fine, cocktail range nice. Buffet food fine - good mix for everyone just ALOT of oil used. App is brilliant so definitly download! Beach is on its doorstep and a nice relaxing beach with snorkeling areas Negatives: Chinese restaurant despite positive reviews we found the worst! Noodles weren't even cooked! Super oiley food. Not good! Evening entertainment theatre was poor space, it needs a bar within and seats with tables to be more accommodating and friendly. We went for a couple of the evenings but set up wasn't for us. One day we didn't tip the cleaner, we didn't get loo roll topped up - we appreciate tipping is Egyptian culture but also some tasks are just general jobs. Indoor taxi rep - didn't speak any English or German and although advertises flat rate costs, will not confirm costs to you which then means you have to haggle with taxi driver.
