La struttura molto bella, mi è piaciuto molto La tenda con tutte le sue comodità: frigo, aria condizionata, ventilatore, tv . Il bagno stupendo e la piscina di fronte alle tende molto bella con una cascata e un bar ( nel periodo di settembre credo per bassa stagione chiuso ) . Si trova a due passi dal mare e a dieci dal Elephant Sanctuary. La struttura offre la possibilità dopo il check out di rimanere in piscina e di fare la doccia in una stanza. Tutto molto bello. Non abbiamo prova il ristorante ma aveva un menu interessante.

Room was incredible. Henry was particularly lovely, thank you for making our stay as incredible. You were the absolute best. The villas are unbelievable, definitely the best place we have stayed at in Koh Samui

One lady of the staff was not the warmest and we had better breakfast elsewhere but apart from that it was great

La cosa che ho apprezzato di più è sicuramente la disponibilità e la premura del personale di struttura, sempre cordiale, attento e ben disposto.

La struttura purtroppo non è al livello di un luxury resort: non per la qualità dei servizi, ma per lo stato di manutenzione della struttura stessa. Molti mobili sono rotti, le tende del glamping annerite o strappate, asciugamani vetusti, cose non funzionanti tipo la doccia o il frigo bar ecc..se tutto fosse tenuto al.meglio e perfettamente funzionante sarebbe un'ottima struttura. Quando siamo stati noi era molto "abbandonata"

This was the best and most expensive accomodation we have stayed in our Thailand trip. The idea of this kind of setup was truly mind blowing. We did not expect it to be that good. We got an upgrade where we had a living room along with our bed room. We really enjoyed our tiny space in this property and we felt like we slept so much better. Room: Slightly dark and cozy room. Every little part of the room made us feel good because it reminded us of the village areas we were brought up in. The outdoor shower was a true good first time experience. Words are coming short to describe how we felt. Pool: The pool did not have a smooth surface and felt either a bit old or not well maintained. They had the waterfall which we requested it to be turned on but the strong smell was disturbing. They have the floating bed and pool bar was not open. Beach: The beach was a short walk and was very calm, not much crowded. Peaceful with Koh Tao island view. Staff: They were good and helpful.

- The entrance to the resort was confusing as it was next to the other fancy property. - Staffs were busy and did not welcome us up to the mark. - No special request was kept. - The location was off and away from the main crowd.

Stylish, clean and comfortable villa with nice little pool and outdoor shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Close to the beach.

The air conditioner was very loud and there was a strong smell of sewage coming from the sink.

Vicino ad una delle spiagge piu' belle dell'isola per tramonti e relax! Zona tranquilla pochi servizi vicini ma la camera e' molto curata e pulita. Perfetto per chi e' amante di tranquillita' e silenzio, esperienze open air e rilassanti. Ottima la possibilita' di poter lasciare il bagaglio dopo il check out e potersi fare anche una doccia prima di andare all'aereoporto. Super consigliato!

Ganz angenehme Lage, „Zimmer“ waren nett eingerichtet.

Der pool war eine Riesen Enttäuschung. Er sah absolut ungepflegt aus und die Poolbar hat (zumindest während unseres Aufenthalt) dauerhaft geschlossen, und sieht auch so aus als hätte sie das schon länger.. Auch die zum Zimmer gehörenden Möbel waren teilweise echt nicht schön. Einige Flecken waren auf den Unterlagen. Im Badezimmer ist alles nass sobald es etwas regnet. Auch das Bett bleibt nicht unverschohnt! Nach Regen ist das Bett teilweise nass bzw. wenn man darin liegt kann man den Regen spüren! „Luxuriös“ würde ich das ganze absolut nicht nennen!

Unusual concept of a hotel room in a tent

Outdated. Run down. Unhelpful staff. Limited facilities. Overpriced restaurant serving food still frozen.

The property was perfect for us, quiet and authentic. Loved the private splash pool room. Hotel room was kept nice and clean. Food was great . Nice and close to the beach and the moonhut restaurant which was perfect for sipping a fresh coconut with Malibu and taking in the amazing scenery.

It was our first visit to Koh Samui, which was stunning. Only comment is we prefer the quieter south of the island for our next stay . The road near the property is very busy, although to be fair you don’t hear the traffic much.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die Villa mit eigenem Pool war wirklich sensationell – egal wo wir unterwegs waren, wir sind jedes Mal gerne zurück ins Hotel gekommen, um uns in diesem privaten Bereich zu entspannen. Die Villa hatte alles, was wir für unseren 6-tägigen Aufenthalt gebraucht haben. Der Strand war nur eine Gehminute entfernt. Dort konnten wir Liegen und Sonnenschirme gegen ein Getränk (egal welches) ausleihen. Der Strand war nie überlaufen und wir haben die abendlichen Spaziergänge Richtung Maenam Pier sehr genossen. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas abgelegen, was uns aber nicht gestört hat, da wir ohnehin meistens mit Grab unterwegs waren.

Die Toilettenspülung funktionierte nicht einwandfrei und die Abflüsse an beiden Waschbecken waren während der gesamten Zeit verstopft. Und vom hoteleigenen Restaurant waren wir nicht überzeugt. Der Service wirkte für Thailand-Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich unpersönlich und wenig freundlich. Das Frühstück, das wir einmal probiert haben, war ebenfalls nichts Besonderes.

The staff, were amazing, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pool villa was perfect and the whole resort was well maintained. The location was great, so close to the beach via a bamboo tunnel lane, close to the road for shopping but far enough away that there is no traffic noise.

The swim up pool bar looked permanently closed which is a shame and the water kept going off everyday for the last few days, wasnt a big deal though.

De 2 de keer dat we hier komen en net zo geweldig als de eerste keer . Het is dat het de andere keren steeds vol zat anders waren we al 3 keer meer geweest. Een klein paradijs op aarde . Douchen buiten onder de bananen planten 😀De meisjes bij de receptie zijn super aardig , we mochten al om 11.30 op onze kamer . De schoonmakers doen uitstekend hun werk . En het eten bij het restaurant is super lekker of lekker bij je huisje laten bezorgen, alles kan . Dus tot snel weer 😍

Le personnel du restaurant était très désagréable ! L’accueil de l’hôtel était moyen, nous avons dû lourdement insister pour qu’ils viennent réparer notre tente.

The idea is much more appealing than the reality. I guess the room cleaning was good and the design of the rooms is nice, it’s just that everything feels unloved and not well maintained.

Left a lot to be desired. We paid an exorbitant amount considering what we got. The idea is great but the execution not so much. Basically all the other reviews were right and I wish we’d read them beforehand. Our tent had a huge external tear big enough for an adult to enter/exit freely which isn’t great for security (or mosquitos) especially considering there was a theft the day we checked in Everything felt a bit old and worn, dead mosquitos everywhere, weak AC. The sauna and hamam advertised on the website simply don’t exist. We tried to checkout early and ask for a refund but booking.com didn’t respond in time and the hotel categorically refused to take any accountability. I guess it would all be fine if you were paying for a campsite which was advertised as such but not for this. For our last two nights we ended up paying, no exaggeration, half the price for a beautiful five start hotel (mantra) elsewhere, which is crazy really.

Our stay at Khwan Beach Resort in Mae Nam ended on an extremely disappointing note. Shortly before checking out, we discovered that personal belongings had gone missing from both of our rooms, including jewellery and a camera. This completely overshadowed what should have been the final, relaxing stop of our nearly three-week journey through Thailand. What made the situation even worse was the response from the staff and reception. Rather than taking our concerns seriously or offering meaningful assistance, we felt our complaint was dismissed. We were essentially told that it was not their responsibility, with little effort made to investigate or address what had happened. Based on our experience, we left feeling that our belongings were not safe and that our concerns were not treated with the seriousness they deserved. We cannot recommend staying here and would strongly encourage other travellers to exercise caution and keep a close eye on their valuables. Our wonderful trip through Thailand ended with a very bitter experience, and that is what we will remember most about this stay.

Proximity to the beach

Awful value for money, dirty villa and pool at our arrival, dirty water coming out of the tap. The villa is more of a studio really. AC is old and loud. All the facilities are old and worn out with rust and dirt. The pool loungers are just disgusting with red, yellow stains. We asked for decoration as it was our honeymoon, there was none. Had an awful first night and day we were about to leave. The staff tried to help but sadly the owner just doesn’t invest anything into this property, not a lot of personnel, no renovation, nothing.

brilliant rooms, next to a great beach but a little remote

The room was actually pretty cool.

The pool area felt really unkept. To the point where it didn’t really look like any of the photos. Quite a few parts of the room / pool area weren’t very well maintained. In the photos there’s a swim up bar. That was closed. The pools not tiled either, so It wasn’t that fun to sit there anyway! It’s just rough / loose stones. We also booked it under the impression it was going to be adults only. And there were kids playing in the pool. Plus the running water went off for an entire afternoon - which wasn’t ideal. Round about the property there isn’t much to do. We knew it wasn’t going to be in the centre of all the action. But all the streets round about it seemed to just have closed down restaurants etc.

The private swimming pool in private outdoor space and sunbeds which was maintained well

We left 2 nights earlier even when not getting a (partial) refund because we could not get decent sleep because of the duplex villa we stayed in and the overall experience was not worth staying. The 'resort' does not feel or look like a 4 star resort. The area is very quiet but not in a nice way and not nice for the eyes, the close beach was disappointing. The duplex villa we had was old except for the renewed outside showers (with sliding doors that not fully close so mosquitos can come in and you can hear everything from nature at night, some like that, some might not). The villa was right next to a river, a lot of mosquitos.

Objednali jsme si vilku se soukromým bazénem. Ten byl naprosto úžasný, teplý a čistý. V okolí hotelu se pohybovalo dost koček, což nám nevadilo a bavilo nás je pozorovat. Ubytování prostorné. Úklid relativně v pořádku. Zaměstnanci velmi příjemní. V okolí asi 200 metrů od hotelu obchod 7/11 a mnoho restaurací.

Už od startu nás zarazila "recepce" hotelu, která vypadá spíše jako stánek s výlety než jako recepce 4*hotelu. Vilka vypadá na první pohled krásně, ale při používání začínají jít vidět nedostatky. Klimatizace je asi půl metru od postele. Namířena přímo na ní. Ať nastavíte 18 nebo 26 stupňů fouká přímo na vás do postele ledový vzduch. Při vypnutí samozřejmě umíráte vedrem. Nad postelí je větrák, který při otáčení šíleně vrže a špatně se u něj spí. V ubytování je sice lednička, ale otevřít ji už je nadlidský výkon - navíc vytéká. Stejně jako 2 umyvadla, která máte k dispozici, obě protékají. Za peníze, které ubytování stálo bychom čekali, že se hotel bude o vilky více starat. V Thajsku jsme byli v takovém ubytování již vícekrát a úroveň tedy byla lepší. Ceny v restauraci extrémní. V okolí hotelu byla pláž, která tedy dost zapáchala. Jak na recepci tak u vilek šílené množství komárů. Ve vilce netekla za celou dobu teplá voda. Vždy jsme se museli sprchovat studenou.

This place really was a very lucky find. Staff were wonderful. Immaculately clean. Rooms were stunning and well thought out. Other guests were really respectful of each other on our stay (remember it's tents so not as sound proof). It's near a very busy main road, with your usual 7 elevens and generous amount of local or different culture places to eat. Head down a little off beaten track type road (a 2 min walk) and you arrive. You don't hear the traffic at all. Tents are all gated off with their own entrances and they really are cosy and Chic. We didn't have a view but we did have a small little garden, our own sun loungers and it was just perfect. I stayed with my 13 and 14 year olds and they were highly impressed. Really lovely pool area, again very clean. Food on the more expensive side, compared to heading out and eating local, but it was well worth paying for. Truly delicious and again staff were lovely. They're always on hand should you need something but also leave you to enjoy your stay. Beach is less than a minutes walk down the track. Not your typical tourist beach but you can hire kayaks etc and get drinks. It really was a very tranquil place and we would highly recommend .

Absolutely nothing. We completely loved this place. You are right by everything you need but also off the beaten track. We did see one very small snake (not venomous kind. We googled), so please be aware it's glamping and highly likely. I did see a bad review regarding wildlife, which was really odd because I'm not sure what you'd expect! For us, it added to the charm of the place.

Clean, accomodation was great, really friendly staff. The food was a highlight, not only of our stay at your resort but also our stay in Koh Samui

The accommodation isn't right on the beach, but it's about 50 meters away, and the beach is very beautiful. There are cafes, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven nearby. The glamping site is very cozy and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The beach towels could use replacing. Despite the air conditioning, it gets very hot inside the tent.

Beligggenheten rett ved Maenam stranden er bare perfekt! Her kan du sitte på stranden og nyte solnedgangen med noe kaldt å drikke. Vi hadde en villa for oss selv, skjermet og rolig. Perfekt for en avslappende parferie for to voksne

Sengen er i hardeste laget, men sånn er det ofte i Asia. Vollan kunne nok trenge litt overflate oppussing, for eksempel ny tetningslist rundt inngangsdøren. Ellers ikke noe å sette fingeren på.

Very nice and calm atmosphere. The bed is surrounded by mosquito nets that was making easier sleeping. The open air toilet was very nice and different from usual.

Lots of mosquitoes even if the hotel provided support with spray and other things. Although we didn’t have any problem, the snake skin outside the door of our room was a little uncomfortable finding but understandable for the nature of the place.

Alles verlottert und in die Jahre gekommen, der Luxus ist hier schon lange Geschichte. Poolbar geschlossen, keinen direkten Zugang zum Meer (die Fotos täuschen sehr), wlan lausig, Beauty-Produkte lächerlich. Tresor nicht eingebaut und somit transportabel. Lärmige Baustelle.

The pool villa was amazing

Bit of work going on around pool but have to work sometime so can't really complain about it.

Surprisingly the tent solution was comfortable and worked quite well. Issue with the AC. When I approached reception it took less then 5 minutes before a technicians were present and solved the problem.

Restaurant were a bit pricy compared to walking 100 meters and be on the beach with nicer and cheaper choices. Beachfront in the advertisement, but no beachfront

alles toll! die glamping zelte sind geräumig und super sauber. man hat privatsphäre obwohl alles offen ist. und der pool ist auch sehr schön.

Вила была хорошая,но на этом все и закончилось так как нас обокрали на второй день проживания.Из сейфа вытащили 1300 долларов.Мы сообщили на рецепшен но они отнеслись к этому халатно.Я думаю там все в одной связке.Так что не оставляйте свои деньги в сейфе в этой гостинице.Короче наш отпуск был испорчен.

De villa was netjes en ruim, zwembad voor de deur....heerlijk.

Omdat wij niet in het hoogseizoen waren merk je dat, personeel niet gemotiveerd, geen goedemorgen of Goedenavond, zitten alleen op hun mobiel. Receptie werd zo te zien verbouwd en het zwembad waren bedjes afgedekt, zwembad bar was dicht. Alles kon wel wat verf gebruiken. Prijzen in het restaurant....veel te duur. Ontbijt....veel te duur. Dus als ik dan kijk wat je per nacht betaald t.o.v. wat je krijgt en ervaart..teleurstellend helaas.

Ręczniki w pokojach są bardzo stare i brudne. Nie ma ciepłej wody pod prysznicem. Bar przy basenie jest nieczynny. Ogródek w domku z basenem jest dużo mniejszy niż na zdjęciach. Ośrodek na pewno nie powinien być sprzedawany jako czterogwiazdkowy

The building itself was great. Cleaning staff very good.

Felt a little end of season. It more care in the private gardens. The restaurant doesn’t work for me. Too expensive. Too much choice.

This was a phenomenal place to stay, it was the highlight of my 16 days in Thailand. The bedroom and bathroom were incredible and it felt extremely private. The outdoor shower was incredible. The pool with the waterfall was also a highlight. I worked remotely from here which also worked out perfectly.

It was awesome that it was so close to the beach, yet I would not say it is in the best location. It is quiet, yet the main road it is off of is extremely busy. I did not know about Grab as an option of public transportation, if I had, getting around would have been much easier.

Leider können wir dieses Hotel keinesfalls weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel wirbt mit Luxus und exklusivem Ambiente in Thailand. Bereits beim Check-in wurde jedoch schnell deutlich, dass die Realität mit diesem Versprechen wenig zu tun hat. Der Empfang war wenig herzlich, Informationen zur Hotelanlage oder zu den angebotenen Leistungen wurden uns nicht gegeben. Stattdessen mussten wir direkt eine Kaution von 2.000 Baht hinterlegen, die wir erst nach einer Zimmerkontrolle durch das Housekeeping bei der Abreise zurückerhielten. Die gesamte Anlage wirkt stark in die Jahre gekommen und an vielen Stellen vernachlässigt. Besonders enttäuschend war der Zustand unseres Zimmers. Zahlreiche Einrichtungsgegenstände waren defekt oder beschädigt: Das Türschloss funktionierte nicht zuverlässig, ein Abfluss war verstopft, der Waschbeckenabfluss verbreitete zudem einen unangenehmen Geruch, der Kühlschrank verlor ständig Wasser und der Handtuchhalter war beschädigt. Die Couch war nicht nur extrem verschmutzt, sondern auch defekt. Teilweise fehlten sogar die Standfüße, wodurch sie für uns nicht nutzbar war. Der Couchtisch befand sich ebenfalls in einem mangelhaften Zustand – die Tischplatte war nicht einmal ordnungsgemäß befestigt. Für ein Hotel, das sich selbst im Luxussegment positioniert, sind solche Zustände schlicht inakzeptabel. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ in der gesamten Anlage stark zu wünschen übrig. Handtücher waren regelmäßig verschmutzt, die Liegenauflagen wirkten ungepflegt und teilweise stark verschmutzt. Auf die Bitte, zwei zusätzliche Handtücher zu erhalten, um die Liegen abdecken und überhaupt nutzen zu können, wurde umständlich und wenig serviceorientiert reagiert. Die Poolanlage wirkte ebenfalls alt und wenig einladend. Während unseres Aufenthalts war dort kaum jemand anzutreffen. Die Poolbar war nicht besetzt und vermittelte insgesamt keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Besonders fragwürdig war zudem die Bauweise des Duschbereichs.

This hotel was one of the highlights of my trip, and I would absolutely go back just to stay there again. The room is beautifully designed in a boho-luxury glamping style, with an outdoor bathroom that makes the experience feel even more special and connected to nature. The outdoor areas are stunning, especially the swimming pool and the restaurant, which are both thoughtfully designed and incredibly relaxing spaces to spend time in. The staff deserve special mention as well—they were exceptionally attentive, kind, and always willing to help, making the whole stay feel effortless and welcoming. The room itself was spotless, well-organised, and clearly very well maintained. Overall, everything was simply amazing, and I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Beautiful glamping experience. I was a bit apprehensive about booking this accommodation (my husband’s choice) but was pleasantly surprised. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The decor was stunning, the attention to detail was amazing. You are not overlooked. Private bathroom, comfortable bed, air conditioner, you couldn’t ask for more.

There was nothing to dislike.

Das von uns gebuchte Zelt bot Privatsphäre und war sehr geräumig, ebenso wie das angrenzende open-air-Badezimmer. Moskitonetz über dem Bett war auch vorhanden - ein Muss aus meiner Sicht. Wasserflaschen im Zimmer sind im Preis inkludiert. Der schöne Sandstrand ist nach einem ca. 1-minütigen Spaziergang zu erreichen. Eine Wechselstube und ein Supermarkt (7 Eleven) sind ebenfalls nach wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Kleine Terrasse (Bamboo) mit günstigen Preisen direkt gegenüber der Anlage.

Leider gab es bei unserem Aufenthalt einige Punkte, die unseren Eindruck deutlich getrübt haben. Auf dem Weg zum Strand kamen wir am Empfang vorbei, wo drei Mitarbeiter des Hotels saßen. Wir baten darum, unsere Wasserflaschen auffüllen zu lassen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass dies möglich sei, wir die Flaschen jedoch zunächst aus unserem Zimmer/Zelt holen und anschließend selbst zum Empfang bringen müssten. Zum einen hätte man uns diese Vorgehensweise bereits beim Check-in erklären sollen. Zum anderen hätte ich in dieser Situation etwas mehr Serviceorientierung erwartet: Da wir offensichtlich gerade dabei waren, die Anlage zu verlassen, wäre es aus meiner Sicht angemessen gewesen, anzubieten, dass dieses eine Mal einer der drei anwesenden Mitarbeiter die Flaschen für uns mitnimmt bzw. den Vorgang übernimmt. Hier besteht aus meiner Sicht deutlich Verbesserungspotenzial beim Kundenservice. Darüber hinaus hat uns gestört, dass die schöne Poolanlage, die laut Angaben bis etwa 22 Uhr geöffnet sein sollte, bereits gegen 16:30 Uhr praktisch „geschlossen“ wirkte. Der Wasserfall wurde abgeschaltet, es floss kein Wasser mehr, und die Sitzgelegenheiten wurden bereits mit Plastikplanen abgedeckt. Dadurch kam leider kein entspanntes Urlaubs- oder Willkommensgefühl mehr auf. Ebenfalls enttäuschend war, dass die Swim-up-Poolbar während unseres Aufenthalts durchgehend geschlossen war. Schade, denn die Anlage selbst hat eigentlich viel Potenzial.

Wir hatten die Maisonette Villa mit privatem Pool und der war wirklich uneinsehbar und man hatte da seine Ruhe. Lage: 50 meter vom Strand, also perfekt. Mitarbeiter super hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich.

Eigentlich war alles super und sauber. Wenn man genau hingesehen hat, dann hat man vielleicht an der einen oder anderen Stelle gesehen dass nicht alles super perfekt ist (zb. Gefrierfach im Kühlschrank defekt) aber das wäre meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Tolle Unterkunft, tolles und saubere Zimmer sowieso absolut freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Тихо, уютно, комфортно, стильно. Прекрасный бассейн, чудесный домик-шатер с приватной территорией. До пляжа две минуты, пляж тоже отличный. Все понравилось.

Primero que todo no tenía nada de ambiente, una piscina muy linda pero sin nadie en la barra ni música para generar ganas de utilizar las áreas comunes. Los baños quedan al aire libre, por lo que hasta para lavarse los dientes hay q hacerlo apurado por los mosquitos. La habitación tenía el airea acondicionado encima de la cabeza y con una malla antimosquitos que dirigía todo el aire al cuerpo. Tuvimos q poner sólo ventilador y dormir muertos de calor para no enfermamos por el aire acondicionado. Personalmente dormí pésimo por este tema. Frigobar no enfriaba casi nada.

Het zwembad dat voor iedereen toegankelijk is…is niet zoals de afbeelding, Veel bedjes zaten nog in het plastic gewikkeld. De bar bij het zwembad had zijn tijd gehad en er was niets te verkrijgen…dus ook geen barman die aanwezig was. Je betaald er fors voor. Ook als je bij de receptie aankomt zijn ze naast de receptie begonnen met een verbouwing…maar het ligt gewoon braak! Dat ligt dan ook t.o. jet zwembad en naast het restaurant. Het is welliswaar low-season….maar de faciliteiten behoren wel gewoon goed te zijn.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The room had several serious issues: the air conditioning barely worked and leaked onto the bed, the mattress was very worn and humid, and the overall cleanliness inside the room was poor (dust, hairs, dead bugs, sticky surfaces). There were also maintenance problems, including a leaking roof, the toilet flush that did not work properly and the sunbeds in the little private garden soaking wet for the whole period - we were never able to use them. The outdoor areas and pool also seemed poorly maintained, and some facilities were unusable due to lack of upkeep. This might be better during high season but our experience was not satisfactory. We decided to change hotels for the last night - no refund given, even if initially our booking was fully refundable. We understand tropical conditions can make maintenance difficult, so this is not intended as an unfair review, but the overall experience was far below expectations, especially considering the rating displayed on Booking.com (far from what it really is).

La pluie 😭 étant dans une tente donc « toit » en style de tissu, il été donc très désagréable d’entendre la pluie la nuit … l’hôtel n’y est pour rien. Sans ça, l’expérience est top.
