The rooftop bath. That alone would have made the stay. Sitting in the open air at the top of the building, looking out over Matsuyama and across to the castle on its hill, is about as good as an onsen gets, and it's just as good at night with the city lit up as it is first thing in the morning. We used it four times in two nights and would have used it more if we'd had longer. The rest lives up to it. The rooms are properly comfortable, quiet and beautifully finished, a modern take on a ryokan rather than a copy of one, and the balance of the two is judged exactly right. The food was excellent, local Setouchi seafood handled with real care and served at a pace that let you enjoy it, and breakfast was every bit as good. The staff made it, though. Warm without being stiff, helpful without hovering, and genuinely pleased to see you every time you walked through the lobby. Nothing was a problem. Dōgo Onsen itself is two minutes from the door, so you're in the middle of the oldest hot spring town in Japan with one of its best baths upstairs in your own hotel

The staff was very professional, the city Dogo great for 1-2 days. The rooms are actually ok but smells a little old, musky. All in all really nice place.

Brilliant room and wonderfully attentive staff. A great welcome and helped us park the car. Showed us the room and explained everything. Took out luggage up for us. Lovely private space for dinner.

バスルームに、どこか他所からの？臭いが逆流してくる。配管の問題か？　 ほかがすべて快適なので、残念。

道後温泉本館まで、エレベーターがつながっていて観光しやすかったです。

道後温泉前にエレベーターで降りるだけで行ける好立地 お風呂も見晴らしがよく、清潔 バスタオル・タオルも浴場に備えつけてあって、使いやすかった

道後温泉までエレベーターで直通というのと、かごバッグが便利だった。夕食、朝食もとても美味しかったです。あと、夜に開催される生演奏が贅沢な時間だった。

洗濯乾燥機はおいていてほしい。外まで洗濯物を持っていくのは大変だった。

立地が良い！ 道後温泉本館に近く、大浴場から松山城を眺めることが出来る。 お風呂にお風呂上がりに身体を拭くタオルがあり、脱衣所が濡れない工夫がされていた。 浴室に置いてある化粧水は雪肌精。はじめてです。 お部屋も綺麗で良く眠れました。 スタッフさんがお部屋まで荷物を運んでくれます。 朝食はビュッフェスタイル。オープンキッチンではクロワッサンサンドとフレンチトースト。美味しかったです。

高台にある為、行きに坂を登らなければならなかった。 スーツケース引きながら、高齢の母に坂を登らせてしまった。タクシーを使えば良かったと思いました。

Onsen and customer service.

Tres bien placé avec un access quasi-direct sur Dogo Onsen et tous les restaurants et boutiques autour. Stationnement directement en face (payant) , personel super accueillant et hotel tres propre et ''chic''. on peut emprunter des yukata pour se rendre aux bains de l'hotel ou aux bains publics. TRes belle ville à visiter.

肌がスベスベになる温泉。屋上階の露天風呂はとても気持ちよかった。道後温泉本館にもエレベーターで下りて行けてとても便利。

高い清潔感、スタッフの方が優しかったこと。部屋のレイアウトも畳があり風情を感じさせる素敵な作りでした。大浴場、マッサージチェアも最高でした！

部屋の中のエアコンの風が、風向を変えても寝てるベッドに直接当たり、つけたまま寝ると風邪をひいてしまうなと思いました。風力を弱くしても風が直接あたり、残念でした。

Le top juste au dessus du dogo Onsen. Magnifique hôtel. Je reviendrai dans cet hôtel si je repasse à Matsuyama.

ロケーション（窓からの景色も含めて）が最高でした。スタッフの皆さんもとても親切で感じが良かったです。駐車場が平置きではなく機械式なのですが、雨の中傘を持って歩いてくれたり、道案内のために道路まで出てきてナビゲートしてくれたり、至れり尽くせりでした。畳とベッドの和洋室でしたが、窓からは道後温泉本館が見えて旅情が高まりました。部屋は電気がほしい、と思うところにあって明るく居心地が良かったです。朝食もとても美味しく地元の幸が楽しめました。テーブルごとに要らなくなったお皿を寄せておけるワゴンがついていて、よくデザインされてるなと感心しました。

特にないんですが、少しだけ場所が分かりにくかったです。

駅から近いし商店街もすぐ近くで道後温泉本館近くの広場から専用エレベーターで、ホテルと行き来出来るのが良かったです。温泉も見晴らしがよくゆっくりと温泉を楽しめました。

残念なのは朝食後に部屋で、ゆっくりコーヒーを飲みたかったのですが、テイクアウトサービスは出来ないとのことで残念でした

道後温泉に近く駅からも商店街を通って行けるので、途中で買い物やミカンジュースも楽しめた。宿も朝食も美味しく、お風呂も道後温泉と比べても遜色ないと思う。

朝食時でのコーヒー用紙コップが欲しかった。食後に部屋でくつろいでコーヒーを飲みたいが部屋にあるドリップで作るよりも食事処から持ち帰る方が手間が省けてよいと思えた。

夕食のお店を探していたら 丁寧に教えてくれた。ありがとうございます。 道後温泉本館が見えるし近いし利便性が良い。

良くないとは言わないが　夕食に対する期待値が高かったので　素泊まりとの金額差を考えるとお得感はなかった　例えばステーキ　もう少し張り込んでもらいたい　 ピアノはグランドピアノなのに音がクリアでなく残念に感じた

The hotel was close to the Dogo Onsen Hokan, with a convenient elevator. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. The public bath in the hotel was nice.

部屋が狭かったです。ランクを上げるべきでした。

どこにでも行きやすく、道後温泉駅から近いなど立地がとても良い。 朝食が美味しく、２日間利用したがメニューが違って飽きない。 お風呂にタオルがあり、部屋から持っていかなくて良い。

ウエルカムドリンクがあるとお得感が増す。部屋のアメニティがフランス製だったが、出来れば日本製が安心。

設置、スタッフ、料理と全てが良かった。 お値段的には普通妥当

セキュリティ面からだと思うが、食事処やお風呂に行くのにエレベーターを使用する時、毎回カードキーが必要、他のホテルはフロントから館内に入る時のみであった。

道後温泉本館にも椿の湯にも近く、ほっこりしているのにどこかおしゃれ商店街(お土産等)も歩いて直ぐでした。観光地にも便利です。 ロビーでピアノ演奏もあって朝食も美味しかったです。

フロントの方がチェックインの時は感じ良かったのに、ネットで観光地のクーポンの有無を尋ねた時はフロントで声掛けてと返信を頂いてたのでお尋ねしたら、面倒くさそうな感じでパンフレットを置いてある所でこの位ですと興味無かったのを渡されました。

comfortable renovared rooms with great selection of toiletries/ yukatas/ pjs and slippers. bathroom was spacious and comfortable. very importantly the room had flyscreens which I loved as we could let evening breeze in and it is very rare at the hotels. onsen area upstairs is beautiful and well maintained. great location and you can take a short cut to dogo honkan so it's basically right downstairs. we really enjoyed our stay!

I thought staff was a bit mixed in terms of friendliness, mostly they were nice,just a couple seemed a little arrogant but all polite anyway. breakfast buffet selection seemed a little limited but not a big deal for us... the main disappointment for me was that I couldnt purchase hotel's pyjama to take home. it was very comfortable and in a lot of japanese hotels you can buy one but not here...what a shame

部屋の動物のぬいぐるみ達を子どもが喜んでいました。 フロントでもクマのピースのぬいぐるみをプレゼントしていただき嬉しそうでした。 散策面もとても近くアクセスが良かったです。

夜ご飯のバイキングがしっかりとした和風の料理だったので子どもが好きな品があれば良かったかなと思います。 大人はとても美味しくいただきました。

喜歡早餐的生魚片和溫泉蛋, 房間內直接提供個種尺寸的浴衣是從來都沒有過的體驗, 超棒!

幾乎沒有不喜歡, 唯一可以小小抱怨的是停車場有機械式的, 但因為我們的車太大所以只能停平面停車場, 所以當天下雨的情境之下有些不方便。

Excellent location, clean and spacious room, clean and big toilets, helpful and friendly staff. Everything. We just didn't eat breakfast there as we think that is too expensive. JPY3300 per person. The hotel is very conveniently located so we went out of breakfast and dinner without a problem. Wifi is free, and reception is good.

Breakfast a bit expensive when compare to room charge No one replied to my message after I checked out. I need some service from them as I have left something in the hotel room when checked out.

Terrific customer service. We were greeted as we entered with our car and they helped us park our car, too. The hotel was like a 5-star hotel. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Accommodations and location were excellent. There was even a piano concert in the lobby, free to anyone.

溫泉、房間、早餐，飯店人員都很好。晚上大廳有鋼琴演奏。透過電梯通道可直接到道後溫泉本館。

剛抵達時由正門入住需走一段大斜坡搬運行李，不知道可以由另一個電梯入口（可用對講機跟飯店聯繫），入住後用房卡進出，可直接到道後溫泉本館。

Repetitive dinner buffet Dinner was below expectations given price and hype Service is pretty non existent for a Ryokan oriented hotel. Our Aircon broke down and they simply told us to "open the windows". They only offered us a fan after they failed to fix the Aircon on the second day So overall pretty disappointing experience given it was one of the more expensive accomodation options around

スタッフのホスピタリティと笑顔の接客。道後温泉本館までの道案内も丁寧にしていただきました。 部屋の清掃が行き届いて十分な広さがありました。バルコニーからの眺望も松山市が一望出来良かったです。 夕飯も朝食もバラエティに富みどれを食べても美味しい料理でした。 大浴場も広く洗い場の間隔も十分あり気持ちよく入浴出来た。
