The Color Hotel Hat Yai

Had a one night stay here. Room was sufficient and quite large. Many dining potions nearby and everything is at walking distance including the night market. Staff at check in was pleasant. However. staff at check out seemed miserable. It was as if she was forced to work there.

Hotel is surrounded by food options which are within walkable distance

Nice hotel and very nice front desk staff. Not a lot in the immediate area of hotel that I found

We got what we paid for basically Location was near to Lee garden / clean and spacious room / decent shower / no coffee tea / good Aircond BUT THE BIGGEST ISSUE I MUST HIGLIGHT IS THE NOISE FROM THE CORRIDOR AND THE ROOMS NEXT TO OURS AS THE SOUNDPROOFING IS EXTREMELY BAD AND YOU CAN HEAR PEOPLE TALKING

Aircon is perfect. Hot water from shower is great just bathing area kinda tight. Staff is helpful . Great TV channel. So the wall is kinda thin as i can hear the snoring from my room next door due the bed facing is just opposite each other .

The staff was very helpful and friendly

Ok for a night transit stay

Bilik luas dan selesa. Hotel berhampiran dgn Lee Garden & Kaitod Decha. Boleh jalan kaki ke situ. Staff pun friendly and helpful. Overall sangat puas hati.

Good hotel, just the wall is thin. We can hear next room talking and plug the fuse. Overall great..

Nil

Is fine for family trip with car, although walking distance to town not so far. Right in front of river and few minutes walk to Kan Eng Restaurant. No breakfast and coffee making facilities but room is big and clean with wooden flooring. Air cond good condition( looks very new) Bathroom with bathtub. Sound proof poor — can hear those teenagers voice middle of the night and flushing sound of toilet can be heard from neighboring room. Oh but service is good- I got 2 room connected, parking guard was helpful and service desk flexible because I extended one more night. Fast check in and check out.

Housekeeper at level 5 was rude. Other than this all staff are friendly

It's not walking distance to Lee Gardens but you can always take the tuk-tuk there. It's in a rather quiet neighbourhood.

Clean, near shopping spots

Overall is a good stay. Except the location is some distance to the Lee Garden area.

The hotel is clean but a bit far from town shopping area, central mall, Lee garden and etc.

A little way off the centre of Hatyai town, Accessible with any tuk-tuk.

Room is clean and spacious. Walking distance area. We can heard people talking from beside room. Door should have stoper to cushion the bang sound which disturbing.

From outside the hotel look nice. However the interior design and facilities look old and feel uncomfortable

The Colors Hotel is not bad , but just enviroment outdoor a little dark . If can put more lighting decoration , think won't feel horrible when walking alone back to hotel room.

The location is not really on the main road. But, my partner and I manage to find the hotel by using offline map. The way to the hotel is just one way from Lee Garden Plaza. Convenience. Not crowded with tourists. Really like the location.

nice hotel. location good! clean n friendly receptionist

Nice hotel. But not close with Lee Garden Street. The staff is not so friendly. You will hear noise from next room, people who walking thru corridor or even the sound of flushing from your neighbour's toilet. I am so suprised at the 1st place. Limited carpark provided. Others, the air-cond in room was good, the spacious room with minibar and the clean room. Overall, OK

Old hotel but reasonable maintained. Big room size.

We had a pleasant one night stay over. The room was clean comfortable and then 10 minute walk to the railway station. It's purpose idea where the front desk staff do not speak English.

The water heater at the room is not very functioned. When turn to middle (between red and blue dot, it mean is warm water but i get is cool water). I had tried many times, but it seem the water heater got problem. Others service i am very satisfied. It is a nice hotel.

Good location and not too far from Kimyong market and street food area. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Reasonably good location with shopping centers within walking distance, courteous staff & clean room. Only regret with no tea-making facility in the room. Though a flask with hot water was sent to the room upon request, it was never the same with a kettle in the room for our convenience. All hotels in this region which I had visited provide a kettle in the room.

The hotel location is a bit far from Lee's Garden, the favourite tourist spots for Hatyai thus the quiteness guaranteed. The hotel was good in accepting us but there is one issue, the deposit of passport for guests. I think this is not the normal practice around Asia but it happens here in Hatyai. Other than that, there is also no room service.

the hotel charge us 200 baht by claming we made their towel dirty

2nd time stay here. Service is still good, room is clean, spacious and comfortable as expected.

front desk was helpful but hotel itself was in need of care

overall stay was nice but hair dryer not provided, and kettle not provided too. Got to go to downstairs lobby area to take hot water.

behaviour of d manager is impolite n no manner ...too straight to customers wen settle problems ...d massage girls recommended by hotel oso very terrible ....v wouldnt recommend tis hotel to friends ..very unsatisfied n bad experience

transportation is the problem. not so near to lee garden

friendly staff, good service , peace place for holiday so great nearby many shopping mall its center pace of Hat Yai. easy to do any activities daily and feeling like you are stay at home.

Hotel overall is clean and very comfortable stay. Only thing is I find the hotel a bit far from the city......a 10 minute walk. But there is available tuk tuk waitingoutside the hotel. Not so convenient for older folks.

It is a great surprise that the in-room TV's program with Astro as even Malaysia's hotel is not that generous to provide . The location of the hotel is superb with lots of eateries and easy accessible to major attractions . Definite it is a pleasant stay at The Color Hat Yai .

All good, staff attended to our requests promptly.

Overall good. Wifi weak signal

The room was comfortable and clean. Toilet is very spacious too.

Bath Room facilities in not good condition and some accessories are dirty and rust.

Quite but still close to entertainment and restaurants in center of Hat Yai

Abit old and the location abit far from Lee garden . If by tuk tuk / car should be ok , but walk .... Impossible

Hotel room, bathroom is clean. Great for stop over before heading to Thailand

Hotel is located near eateries. Hotel staff are polite and helpful showing us where restaurants are located. Room are clear. Overall very good stay and had a wonderful time in hatyai.

Overall the stay is pleasant. Just the room has no kettle and the location is a bit far from market shopping.

Good for bikers

If there is a 7-11 near the location then it is the best. Also, the hotel has their own parking lot with security guard. When you are driving to Hatyai, you do not have to worry about where to park your car.

The room not kettle. Need hot water, only go lobby fill using the 2 glass cup been provide if you do not have other container to fill. The map show near to D- garden, but waking need about 15 min and above and streets lighting no good , actually is not safe. Tu Tu service need walk out from hotel only have . Seldom have tutu wait I front of hotel like De garden hotel. For me I will not come back the stay again .

Booked 2 hr 600 baht oil massage thru front desk. After 1 hr 20 min Bo says she's finished. I still give her the 600 baht without making a fuss but then she wants a tip. Toilet water level too high for males to use. Otherwise hotel is good to excellent. Limted secure indoor parking.

Good hotel for relaxing, hotel room is big enough.

Near attractive, Staff Friendly, reasonable price.........................

Everything good about this hotel. Indoor secure car park appreciated. Large room safe. Hotel pretty new and everything works. Friendly staff. A little hard to find, google maps location accurate.

Staff help us about Eating area, Shopping area & taxi to airport

$25 is a bargain price and good cost perfomance. Room is clean enough and the location of hotel is just backside of major street. It is 10 minute to Lee Garden Plaza and Daiichi Hotel.

Room sound proof very poor

The staff allow me to check in early, and the room was spacious and clean. Price is very reasonable in a town city, walking distance to the Famous Dimsum. They also have few tuk tuk standby in front of the hotel, the fee also very cheap for each trip. Highly recommended.

This hotel overall good, nice service, nice location, outside the hotel have tuk tuk car ,just walk 5minutes reach lee garden...I will book this hotel again

Location convenient. Overall is good

Room was clean, hot shower available and good air con, didn't give problem. Maybe because it's still new. Wi-Fi is free and available in room at a respectable speed. Free parking available and it's guarded.

Good service, respectable wi-fi speed in room, clean with hot shower. Satisfied stay. Will return.

The room is clean and comfort. Friendly staff. But its do not provide coffee/tea making facilities, which I found this is not convenient for my kids, I need hot water to prepare their drink. Hair dryer is not fix in room; but this can be request from the housekeeping. 15 minutes walking distance to Lee plaza and night market. Tuk tuk is always available in front of the hotel. Approximate 30Bhat/ pax.

Fair price, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staffs. Not really happy with the soundproofing in the hotel.

Very new and clean hotel. However, the location is a bit secluded. Have to walk through a narrow and dark road to reach the hotel. Many food stalls and restaurants near the hotel. The hotel bell boy by the name of "Pong" was very polite and helpful. Will come back again.

The hotel is located off the main road and yet very near to night market. Its location is superbly convenient. Room is of moderate size, ok for a couple and simply and clean. I will recommend the hotel for its good location.

Very satisfied with The Color Hotel but nearby no shopping area. Just min out to main road got a lots of good foods like Tim Sum to enjoy. We need to walk about 10-15 mins till Lee Garden area where 3 shopping malls are nearby.

Hotel staff were helpful but not over accommodating as what I have experienced in other hotels. Extra complimentary water request is turned down but obliging on extra pillows. Room not tidied in time on day 2, although given advance notice to receptionist in morning. My room was the last to be cleaned in whole floor which is after lunch; inconvenient as that was the time when we wanted to rest. I can see that they are understaffed so could probably explain this.

Overall stay was good, room was clean and comfortable and reception was awesome. Walking distance to shopping district and Wi FI was good. Park my car in a good security surrounding with guards to watch on 24/7. Visited there from Sept 29 - October 02 2015. The pax of 5 made up of 1 Malaysian and 4 Singaporean was all contented, happy and fully satisfied....and it is value for money be it for business, family or just a getaway.....to all staff of Color...thank and keep up your excellent service and attention.....cheers Ray & gang of five!

A sheltered carpel with secured parking. Though parking space are quite limited

Warm water for shower was malfunction. Have to turn on the tap together with the shower to have a little warm water.

The hotel is quite new so as the facility. It is located at the back of the road and not facing the main road. No breakfast or tea/coffee provided except for mini bar and two drinking water. 5 minutes walking to the heart of city so it was quite peaceful at night. Overall, the hotel is ok to me.

i drive to hatyai with friend, this hotel location is very conveneint ,walking distance to farmos lee garden plaza just a few min.room was clean with very basic.

Room is clean. Less than 10 minutes walk to Lee Garden Plaza. Price is reasonable.

Nice Spacious room with a clean bathroom. A kettle in the room would have been a great addition.

Hotel clean and in good condition. The location are ok, not that bad as located just a bit distances from the town. One downside if that, in the room, there are no water boiler, you will need to head all the way down to the reception to get hot water.
