Nice staff, breakfast is ok but not too big of a variety
Like the breakfast was decent and the staff were pleasant
I did not like that our room was right beside a back exit that said was for emergency exit only but people kept going in and out of it and kept slamming the door at all times of the night waking me up and barely got any sleep cause of this, I was ready to go out and start yelling at people that were going in and out
The breakfast staff were amazing as were the rest of the staff
The price was way overpriced and the $250 incidental charge was way too much for this location. The room was plain and outdated. The mattress was visibly sunk in and we had a terrible sleep for $205, ( I paid for a queen bed with a pull out couch) not worth the price or the hold on my credit card.
The cleaniness of the rooms.
The humidity in the room but I assume thats because of the pool.
Staff , breakfast, cleanliness and location with excellent.
Good continental breakfast and comfortable bed.
The carpet in the room was very damp everywhere and the bath tub plug was gross .
It was ok
Your incidental was too much, n stuff would allow to talk with management
Rooms are clean.. especially the bathroom. Breakfast a lot of varieties to choose from.
Elevator! Its kinda old..
They put us in a room beside a back exit door that kept slamming all night as people went out to smoke
The tv guide was all scrambled. Couldn’t really see the information
Good location. Breakfast was good.
Misleading information. Water slides is only open on weekends, welcome email only stated closed Dec. 26-30 for maintenance. Went with children and specifically booked for water slides. Room was musty and smelled bad. Everything felt wet and sticky, very humid in room.
The whole experience was excellent
No complaints here
Clean, quiet place to stay. Friendly staff
The hot tub was not operating.....water was in it but the jets would not turn on. Pool had the robot cleaner in it, not on just in there we had to go under the power cord to swim in certain parts of the pool. Slide was blocked off
Location was very good
The room was musty smelling--poor air quality--opened window and also ran the air conditioner to circulate air. Also, the hallway had a very strong smell of cleaning products--very uncomfortable for breathing.
I enjoyed my stay immensely. I advised of super early checkout and got a room near the outside door so I wouldn't wake others. The breakfast was fine, staff was in constant cleaning mode but unobtrusive. Front desk staff were pleasant. Checking in was quick and easy.
The location and the price.
There was a terrible smell in the room. I think it was coming from air conditioner..had to shut it off !
Location
Uncomfortable beds. Too expensive for what is offered. Rooms .we'd updating
Q Inn Yorkton is clean, quiet and seems to be fairly new. We didn't have time to try the waterslides, but the families with kids were having great fun! We love that the breakfast room opens promptly at 0530. There we found the usual selection of cereals, bagels, scrambled eggs and delicious bacon...thank you Saskatchewan! Across the street is a Sobey's where you can pick up anything you need foodwise for your roadtrip and Mr . Mike's for a wonderful sit down dinner. A great stay in a great location.
The price is a bit more than we expected but is in line with other hotels in Yorkton.
We loved the Q Inn, we only wish we had more time! The waterslides looked like loads of fun! Our Queen room was very clean, spacious, For you early risers, the breakfast room opens at 0530 promptly! There you'll find the usual cereals, bagels, oranges, eggs and bacon. Saskatchewan knows their bacon and this was delicious! Across the street is a large grocery store, some fast food outlets and a terrific sit down restaurant which means the QInn has a great location!
Good selection of breakfast items.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The front desk clerk was very helpful and quickly got us checked I
Everything was good
The coffee maker in the room was full of mold. The room also had a bad smell.
Breakfast was good
Nothing. First and last time staying there.
To close to the train tracks. Breakfast is from 5:30-8:30. That is way to early when travelling. Room was not made up when we were out for the day. Also was suggested from the person on the front counter it would be done around 8:30. The breakfast was not great my husband went down the one day. I missed it entirely.

How clean it was.
I liked everything
Room
Night staff didn't talk about breakfast. This hotel has breakfast ending at 8:30am on weekdays. That is ridiculous! Night staff didn't mention it and when l called the front desk he said 9:30 am. Get your house in order!
Clean and quiet
Breakfast, are small, expensive for what you get
This is a very nice hotel with nice amenities in a perfect location
Clean
Super clean
Clean and quiet
Location was close to the Parkland Mall. Very clean, excellent pillows Helpful staff, always with a smile
Everything about it and it was in the perfect spot
That the water slide was not open, and the kids couldn’t play in the pool. When they tried enjoying themselves they called up to the room to report the kids couldn’t play in the swimming pool.
My room was huge. It had a fireplace and a couch. It was lovely.
It was very pricey
The breakfast, the beds, water pressure is great, the water slide, pool and hot tub are also a lot of fun. Good exercise room, just not a big fan of it's location in the pool area.
the room was fine
I booked online before traveling to this hotel. when we got here we were told that it wasnt a pet friendly hotel. yet when i booked online it asked if we had a pet. and i did have a lil pup our family dog. therefore my husband had to sleep in the van cause we didnt' want the pup to be alone. this was very unsettling and i could not get a refund cause we checked in late at night
To book the room for Saturday December 13, 2025 to Sunday departure. Thanks
Great location, easy to get to
My son would have went swimming again but at one time during our stay it wasn't open. I was disappointed in how the price sky rocketed for the one weekend we needed to be there. When I check any other weekend the price was a fraction of the price
The staff was kind and helpful
My room smelled like smelly feet
Clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast
Customer service is dialed. Would definitely come.back to the quality inn when i have work in yorkton
Clean rooms, friendly staff and close to shopping
Breakfast was good
Good
Very clean
Breakfast didn’t have a great selection like some others that I’ve stayed at.
Great place. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Great location.
Good
The manager there her name is Joie, absolutely an appauling human. One of her staff made my check in very unpleasant so I wrote a review about the experience calling the behaviour very uncanadian. The manager Joie proceeded to email me calling me a racist. Which I am not I have mixed children in fact so a completely disgusting statement. I then defended myself and my position. I went to extend my stay she said no. Went to another hotel owned by the same group and this coward of a human said there was rooms until she saw my identification. When she then said oh there is a problem with my system and now we have no rooms. I said "ahh you must be Joie" where she then told me we don't accept your kind here. But apparently I am the racist. If a white person said this imagine the backlash. I've spoken to corporate but as long as this is who they are employing my business is something this chain will not be getting. Don't be like Joie.
Standard room easily accessible and safe and comfortable.
Nice staff
Nice clean hotel. Breakfast was nothing special
Great location
Nice friendly people
Dudnt stay wouldnt take my koho master card had to find different accommodation
When staying for our twins birthday we were slapped with a damage charge which was false. The manager would not talk to me.
Very clean. A hot breakfast included. Mr Mikes walking distance. We would stay there again
I didn't use the pool as I got in kinda late but waffles for breakfast yum! And clean. There is an older carpet smell but not their fault, it's just old and it was storming before I got there. Would stay again.
Long check in line and the group ahead of me asked for a available rooms and were told the hotel was completely full. No offer of assistance finding another hotel for them. Maybe they don't do that in Canada? In the USA, they call ahead to another Quality Inn on your route or possibly another hotel in town to verify they have rooms available. Just seemed very uncaring.
Good location and friendly staff
I liked everything
Typical chain hotel.
Was all around good
Had a pool and waterslide, free breakfast, lots of parking, close to restaurants and gas stations
Waterslide was closed, hotel only has it open Friday and Saturday even though it was during July and August. Most families are travelling with their children during the summer so it makes sense that the water slide would be open every day during July and August.
The Quality Inn and Suites is very clean, and the rooms are nicely decorated. The hotel staff are very courteous and prompt. I enjoyed the quietness and my relaxation time. Thank-you.
The stay was conformable and the parking was convenient
easy to find while driving
Two nights for a family reunion, convenient, affordable, average to below average property and amenities.
Good stay
Convenient while travelling
Clean & quiet
Went and looked at the hot tub and it was really dirty did not use and wouldn’t yuk!!
Only given one key for two guests. Toilet would not shut off, had to listen to it all night long causing a poor nights sleep.
We had gone tenting and my teens were tired of freezing. We decided very last minute to spend the last night in the nearest city. Not only was there a room available but it was very clean and comfortable. The girls loved not being cold and having a bed.

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
6.5/10Multiple guests reported musty/bad smells in rooms, sticky/humid conditions and at least one moldy coffee maker; some reviews did note rooms were clean, but recurring odor/air-quality issues lower this score.
Service
9.5/10Front desk staff are frequently described as pleasant, helpful and efficient (quick check-in, accommodating early checkout); a few isolated service issues (reservation refusal, inconsistent night-staff info, missed room make-up) were reported but majority sentiment is strongly positive.
Location
9.5/10Location is consistently praised: central, across from a grocery store and restaurants, convenient for road trips; one mention of proximity to train tracks was a negative for one guest.
Room Quality
6.5/10Several guests reported musty smells, poor air quality (AC smell), humid/sticky rooms and at least one report of uncomfortable beds; other guests found rooms spacious and clean, resulting in a mixed but below-target rating.
Amenities
6.5/10Amenities are mixed: waterslides popular but availability is limited/incorrectly communicated (closed on weekdays or blocked), pool had maintenance/robot issues and hot tub jets not working for some guests.
Value for Money
8/10Opinions split: some guests praised the price and found it good value, others felt it was too expensive for what was offered; overall aligns with the target rating.
Food and Beverage
9.5/10Breakfast received frequent praise (early opening, good selection, well-liked bacon and typical hot/cold items); isolated complaints about breakfast timing and one guest missing it do not outweigh the generally strong reviews.
Overall Experience
8/10Many guests report a very good stay (clean, quiet, great location, good breakfast) while several others had notable negatives (smells, amenity availability, occasional service/housekeeping issues), producing an overall solid but not perfect experience.
