My family stayed here last month, and the entire experience easily matched the international standards of a Marriott hotel. The room was immaculate, incredibly comfortable, and provided plenty of space for all of us to relax after a long day. What truly set this stay apart was the dining. Both breakfast and dinner featured an impressive, dedicated selection of high-quality "super food" options. It was refreshing to have such healthy, delicious, nutrient-dense meals available for the whole family without leaving the property. Exceptional service and a world-class stay!

My work involves frequent international travel and, consequently, regular stays in hotels. While the Kochi Marriott may not be the most lavishly appointed hotel I have encountered during my travels, it surpasses almost every other hotel I have stayed in where it matters most: the exceptional quality of its people and the service they provide. Every single member of staff whom my colleagues and I encountered was outstanding — combining genuine warmth and friendliness with remarkable professionalism and efficiency. We felt truly welcomed from the moment we arrived, beginning with the security personnel at the entrance, whose names I regrettably did not note, and continuing throughout our stay from 2–8 August 2026. Against this backdrop of consistently excellent service, a number of individuals stood out through their extraordinary care, and I feel it is important to acknowledge them by name. Our hotel drivers, Nithin and Alan, were superb. They went far beyond simply transporting us from place to place. They were knowledgeable, attentive and unfailingly courteous, and throughout our journeys they gave us a genuine sense of being looked after, protected and safe. The team at the Executive Lounge, so ably led by Shan, were consummate professionals. Krishna, Jiya, Amrutha and Disha made us feel genuinely comfortable and cared for, particularly when we returned after long and demanding days. Their warmth made the lounge feel less like a hotel facility and more like a place where we could genuinely relax. The food throughout our stay was excellent. Special thanks must go to Asish Kumar Singh, Executive Sous Chef, whose personalised attention was greatly appreciated. The concierge team, Naheem and Shravan, were always ready to help, including when we faced complicated travel problems requiring flights to be rebooked and replacement documents to be printed. Their calm efficiency at moments when we particularly needed assistance made an enormous difference. The dining team — Naveen, Alvin, Prateek, Fireboy, Sagar, Sreeraj, Geon, Bimal and Changhoineng — ensured, meal after meal, that we were comfortable and exceptionally well looked after. Their manager, Mohosin, was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. Vishwanathan, the Duty Manager, was simply superlative. We thank all of them and will remember their kindness with great fondness. For a hotel blessed with staff of this calibre, I believe the experience could be enhanced still further through a few relatively simple additions that we have encountered at other international hotels. The Marriott might consider offering guests booking Executive Rooms greater flexibility with early check-in and late check-out, together with complimentary laundry for a defined number of items each day. For frequent business travellers in particular, these small conveniences can make an enormous difference and may encourage more guests to pay the additional cost of booking an Executive Room. Overall, however, our experience was exceptional. Buildings and facilities matter, but ultimately it is people who make a hotel memorable — and the people of the Kochi Marriott made our stay unforgettable. If I have the privilege of returning to Kochi, the Kochi Marriott will unquestionably be my first choice.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Kochi Marriott! The hotel has a beautiful ambience, spacious and spotless rooms, and the hospitality was exceptional. The staff were extremely courteous, warm and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was excellent with a great variety of options. The location right next to Lulu Mall is also extremely convenient. Overall, it was a very comfortable and memorable experience. Would definitely love to stay here again whenever I’m in Kochi!

Amazing Hotel and Location

No response from Front Desk at all. Tried contacting them several times no one replied at all. Given a formal complaint and evidence shown to reception.

Staff were very attentive during check in as well as during breakfast although it was full house at the restaurant.

I didn't like the welcome sweets in the room which were unwrapped and open. I was unsure how long it has been there. Suggestion would be to pack them individually as guests might not consume all 4 pieces right away. Also there were oil stains on the parchment paper which suggest they have been there a long time.

I had room service twice during my stay and Dipan was the one who delivered the foods. He had remarkably excellent genuine hospitality and warmth. He was so detailed to make sure that I got the food that I asked.

Even though we didn't inform Marriott about my birthday they threw in a surprise with a squeaky clean room which was decorated with balloons & a Chocolate cake garnished with grated coconut which was yummy indeed . I was wondering how did they knew about this special day then I guessed it may be due to my Marriott Bonvoy membership it was a very thoughtful gesture as we were not expecting these. On our arrival right from the security, reception, restaurant all the staff were very warm friendly & polite & helpful it was really a feel at home kinda feeling A Big thank you to team Marriott for a memorable stay @ Marriot Cochin .

Excellent location. Their staffs are very courteous and handles all requirements of guests in a prompt manner. Would definitely recommend this place for your comfy stay at Kochi.

Once again my experience here at this hotel was wonderful. From the moment entering hotel and greeted like family to the cleanliness of the rooms and excellent service. The breakfast is always exceptional and the evening executive lounge is well Presented. Always appreciate the hiring of disadvantaged personal. Highly recommend this hotel.

My family away from my family ❤️ I came to Kochi from Australia travelling alone, and what I will remember most about my stay at Kochi Marriott Hotel is not simply the beautiful hotel, but the extraordinary kindness of its people. As a counsellor, I spend much of my professional life thinking about human connection and the small things that make people feel safe, welcomed and cared for. During my stay, the Marriott team gave me exactly that. They became my family away from my family. Deepti, Mary and Jafar each looked after me with such genuine warmth and attentiveness. And then there was FiveBoy - my favourite friend! His kindness, humour and beautiful spirit brought a smile to my face every day. Checking in on me, celebrating my wins, sharing local knowledge and making me laugh and smile. Thank you . An amazing group of young people with a vibrant future ahead of them. I am so proud of you all . The chefs were exceptional. They didn't simply prepare wonderful food; they listened, remembered my preferences and made me feel personally cared for. That level of hospitality cannot be manufactured through training alone, it comes from people who genuinely care. I arrived as a guest and leave feeling that I have made friends in Kochi. Thank you to this wonderful team for being part of my Kerala journey. You gave me something much more valuable than a five-star hotel stay: a feeling of belonging. Five stars, without hesitation.

There are very few positive points, and more negatives to mention. The staff were generally nice.

Honestly, there were quite a few issues. The person handling the orders was very new to the job; we had to call twice or more after confirming the order, yet mistakes still happened. The 0 dial is almost useless—often nobody answers, and there’s no dedicated speed dial for room service, making it very hard to get in touch with them. Overall, this feels more like a very unprofessional, subpar hotel rather than a five-star experience. For breakfast, we ordered the same items on different days, but the quality never matched; sometimes the coffee would arrive clumped together like porridge. On our last night, the sweet lassi we ordered had gone bad, and the toilet seat area smelled like urine when we arrived. I had to clean the area myself to get rid of the smell, but later it was okay. On the bright side, the room and linens were very clean. Room service was slow, and the food was just average—nothing that felt five-star. There’s only a single operator answering calls, which isn't very professional for a five-star hotel. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and did not live up to the Marriott brand's standards.

Cleanliness . From concierges no help in loading stuffs or opening car doors or giving eye contacts for help !! Reception for any help phone is not picked up taking long delay. Asked for a luggage weighing scale it took long time to deliver & the room boy was not friendly enough to wait or to comeback to collect and he was hurrying the process . Lights were working overall cleanliness of the room felt not great . As this is our fourth time staying in kochi Marriot this is the first time we felt something like this

Breakfast was lavish and super yummy. Room had good space, extremely clean and fresh. Nice view. Lunch at Cassandra was very authentic and super tasty. Dinner was theme based, it was buffet, was too good, a good spread of food items, drinks and sweets. Overall will visit again.

Our stay was really enjoyable as usual. We have stayed at this property a few times in the past. Everything was very clean, the mattress was comfortable, breakfast was very extensive. They even made an item that was not being served that morning, which I thought was very nice. We used the spa and the service was great.

My cousins and I had the most wonderful experience at the Marriot in Kochi. Thanks to Karan and all of the exceptional staff. We enjoyed the high quality buffets, live music and the comfortable accommodations. We would come back in a heartbeat if the opportunity arises again. - Hiral

We want to give a special, heartfelt mention to Miss Mary, our buffet service executive. From the moment we walked in, her attentiveness and genuine kindness stood out. She went far above and beyond to make our family feel comfortable. Taking care of an 8-month-old baby while dining out is no easy task, but Mary anticipate every need—ensuring we had everything necessary for the baby and paying such gentle attention to our little one. What touched us even more was how wonderfully she pampered our 5-year-old boy. She made him feel so special, engaged with him with such warmth, and ensured he had his favorite treats, turning mealtime into something he actively looked forward to each morning. Her proactive care and infectious smile genuinely set the tone for our entire stay. Equally deserving of high praise is the pastry chef, Mr. Jaimon. The breakfast pastry spread was an absolute masterpiece! Every item—from the flaky, butter-rich croissants to the exquisitely prepared morning pastries and desserts—was crafted to perfection. You can taste the artistry, precision, and passion in every single bite. Chef Jaimon clearly takes immense pride in his craft, and his talent elevated the entire buffet experience into a gourmet delight. The entire breakfast layout was fresh, abundant, and beautifully presented, but it was the exceptional human touch provided by Miss Mary and the culinary excellence of Mr. Jaimon that truly made it unforgettable. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.

Everything from check-in to check-out was exceptional. Check-in was smooth. The rooms were spacious, neat and well-maintained. The free amenities provided were more than required. The towels were soft and fluffy. The beds were really comfortable. The controls were all automated and fairly easy to understand. The breakfast had great variety and the food was tasty. The service of the staff was also friendly and helpful even though most of the tables were full. The timeliness for fulfilling requests like additional water bottles was perfect. Moreover, I asked for band aid as my son had a small cut on his little toe but the hotel sent a physician who examined the wound, sterilized it and applied the band-aid. The swimming pool was also perfect temperature and well-maintained.

The check-in process could have been quicker and an explanation of the facilities and services offered by the hotel could have been shared as done in other hotels especially as this was our first stay and we weren't informed about the breakfast or the pool or other facilities.

Namaskaram, I am writing to share how much I enjoyed my stay at the Kochi Marriott Hotel. As always, staff and services were top-notch, and I left thoroughly satisfied! I especially want to commend Mr. Sourav Adhikari from the F&B team. Sourav always takes wonderful care of my dining orders, even when I ask for something outside the menu. On top of that, he arranges my checkout takeaway food perfectly every single time, making sure it is on time and customized to my taste. He is truly one off best staff members. I also want to thank Mr. Anurag Upadhaya, who always warmly welcomes me and my team, as well as your Kitchen and Housekeeping teams. The food is consistently delicious with great variety, and the housekeeping staff are always smiling and ready to help always keeping room clean and fresh. Location of the hotel is the best in the heart of the city as there is a LULU MALL in walking distance also hotel provides the buggy to drive you in the mall from hotel.
