Great value for a comfortable stay.

The location is right on the highway, but it wasn’t too loud.

The private beach

It was clean, the private beach was nice, the coffee was good.

Being on the highway was noisy, being outside Penticton wasn’t convenient. Small details like the worst 1 ply toilet paper and charging people to check in early is super cheesy when you are charging a premium price.

Location - just a 5 min walk to private beach at Skaha lake The amenities- kitchen, plenty of towels, coffee maker, the little touches- chocolates, pillow spray, all the shelves for your clothes and belongings The outdoor seating area with gas firepit, BBQ grill, corn hole. Having the Nordic Spa with 20% discount which we took advantage of. The lovely, helpful staff who would respond in timely manner to any needs we had.

It wasnt really close to restaurants and groceries. You had to drive more than 10 min for shopping, etc.

Great suite and place to stay! Bonus the private beach access! All the staff were super nice and friendly, even gave us an extra fan too!

The suite was excellent, but the AC could use an update as it's cooling abilities weren't the best. My own opinion.

Loved our stay. Super friendly staff, cozy and very clean rooms! Lovely sitting area and access to a private beach just a couple minute walk away.

Bed and pillows most comfortable. The outdoor sitting area was also nice.

Some dust on the bathroom floor when checked in had to be wiped up, also on top of microwave.

Was pretty quiet even though it's near the road. Terry was excellent with a few requests we had. Great spa experience, enjoyed it was private. Would recommend & stay again 😃 Close to beach 🏖️ access, very clean.

The bowls were a bit small for what I needed but made it work. Would've stayed longer but was sold out on long weekend.

The room had everything we needed. The outside area is lovely, comfortable & off the highway. Great place to relax & visit with friends. Staff were friendly & totally accommodating.

It was great! Only “complaint” would be the construction on the hiway right beside the property (not that anything could do one about that though) and Mother Nature didn’t allow us to have beach days

Updated motel with private access to the beach through a tunnel under road with access to an oasis in their back property filled with outside seating areas and fire tables and BBQs. Their Nordic Spa was an amazing experience- highly recommend

Newly renovated room was very nice. Added benefit of a partial kitchenette with plates/cups/bowls etc fridge/microwave/kettle as well as a Kuerig. My only suggestion would be some type of tray to use on the bed to eat on, as there is not (no room) a table to eat at. Will stay again for sure, but will be sure to check that there is no construction going on beside the motel next time, as the sound was pretty disturbing. No fault to the property though!

Ashley, the property manager, is such a great host. She was available to help us with anything we needed. We loved the area in the back where we could just hang out around a fire pit in the evening. We never made it to the spa but I’m sure it’s amazing. Thanks Ashley :)

What a pleasant surprise! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed, and the yard with games and a fireplace was such a treat. The location is unbeatable, too! Right across from the best beach

Unfortunately there were road works going on at the entrance of the motel which made things less peaceful and noisy but this was not the fault of the motel. Can I say don’t judge a book by its cover -the room was immaculate and tastefully decorated with everything you could need for your stay, we enjoyed the little personal touch like the calming mist and chocolates, beach towels. The garden area is lovely and a short walk to private beach. It was in an ideal place for us but if you are Loki g to walk to restaurants etc that might be difficult it’s about a 5 /10 minute drive into town. We had a great sleep and enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely stay we had at the Lakeside. We were just there for one night, but could easily have stayed a couple more. The rooms were beautifully updated. The beds were super comfortable (supportive and cosy), the bathroom was very efficient (spotless, plenty of soft towels, great shower) and well stocked (fridge/coffee area with glasses/cups & keurig). Even chocolates & lavender pillow spray! You also get access to a private beach (accessible thru a convenient tunnel beside the hotel). We also booked a session at the sauna/cold plunge which was fabulous!

Charging for early arrival, checkin was 4 pm, had to pay for early Could use hooks for hanging coats etc.

The owners have done an awesome job in redoing the suits and making it feel so comfy and homey! Would definitely stay there again!

This Inn is well set for families and has a small kitchen and living room, however, the bed was small (double?) and not comfortable. We had a truck and trailer and parking was difficult. Staff was friendly and place was very clean.

The staff are great and friendly. The location is close to the beach. The kitchen area, bathroom, living area, and bedroom are all very comfortable. There's a really nice patio area in the back, away from the traffic.

The AC was in the living room and didn't extend well to the bedroom. I like to sleep cold, so this was a problem. If you like to sleep a bit warm, you'll be ok. Note that the weekend I stayed, the temperature outside was 38'c, so a one-room AC isn't going to keep up with a two room space. The hotel is right on the road, which makes for a bit of noise. But in the room with the AC or fan on, I couldn't hear it. Otherwise the place was quiet.

The private beach is awesome. The motel rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Hotel toiletries and chocolate are nice. Some rooms are dog-friendly, but not all the hotel facilities. It gets difficult to find parking at night, it would be great if each room would have an assigned parking spot.

Love the location, with direct and easy access to the lake. It's surprising quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The staff is great. It's always a little awkward to get out of the parking lot to head into town in the car, and highway construction this time made that a little worse, but it's a minor inconvenience.

Very sweet little room, friendly staff, and definitely a lot of care taken with the property. Biggest detriment was that it was a rainy weekend in June and the AC unit was not enough - I would imagine in the peak of summer that it would not be sufficient for a comfortable stay.

Great place to stay, very clean, great little coffee bar/kitchenette area. Love the fresh decor and the beach access. Didn’t have time to try the Nordic spa but I’m sure it would have been great.

This is our second stay here. The location is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. The kitchen was very well stocked. The sitting area in the back is very relaxing.

The property is just steps away from the lake, offering access to a private beach—a fantastic perk that made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff! Lovely refurbished room, and the motel has a cool vibe with nice outdoor area in the back. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Beach area is great fun. Location is on main highway, the noise didn't affect us though. There is a tunnel to the beach, so it's quite safe for kids

Pleasant surprise. The hotel was built in the 1960s but the interiors have all been refurbished. Location was right on the lake with private access to the beach. Very clean.

Let’s be honest here. The overall note of 9.2 is misleading. A solid 7 is enough. Nice bathroom and bedroom but living room sucks. Outside of building is depressing. Location is average. I must say I thought of leaving when I got there but I had paid for 2 days. Access to beach is nice.

A true hidden gem! This charming little motel exceeded all expectations. The beach-inspired decor is fresh and welcoming, and the room was spotless with every convenience thoughtfully provided. The lavender pillow spray was such a lovely touch - it made the whole experience feel extra special. The outdoor garden area is a peaceful oasis, complete with a cozy fire table and a swinging chair perfect for relaxing. The woman who checked us in was warm, friendly, and so helpful. And the access to a private beach area? An absolute bonus. We loved everything about our stay and will highly recommend to all our friends!

Such a gem!! Gorgeous rooms. Set up with everything you need and more. So many nice details. Terry at the front desk was incredible!! She took such good care of us! The private beach access was amazing. We had beach fire one night (they even sell snore kits!) And the on-site Nordic spa is an absolute must!! I will be back FOR SURE!!!

An off-the-main-track gem. Great renovated rooms. Access to the beach, their Nordic Spa (awesome) and local 9 hole golf course is right around the corner. Fantastic-helpful, friendly staff.

When we first arrived at this property our first impression was not great. There’s so much construction going on right in front that it’s very difficult to enter and exit this very small older looking motel from the outside. Of course that’s no fault of the hotel and nothing they can control. Considering the small older run down appearance of the outside of the motel, the rooms were surprisingly modern and renovated on the inside to be very nice and chic, with all the modern amenities you could want. It just wasn’t as luxurious as we expected it to be considering how it was described in the description. The office manager or clerk that waited on us was nice and attentive. The property overall was just not what we expected.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I love the closeness of the beach. There is construction across the street but that didn’t bother us at all. There are lots of updates. Bed and pillows are very comfortable.

The place is just perfect, curated and always very clean, with everything you need for a short holiday. The staff if always nice a resourceful. The location was perfect for what we needed. There is a very pleasant area outside with fire pit and BBQ and recently they added a Scandinavian sauna and cold plunge with resting area, very nicely organized, I highly recommend to book this, it's wonderful!

Room was very clean. All new appliances that were spotless. New sheets and towels very clean. Separate bedroom was excellent. Kitchen well supplied and clean. Very recently renovated and in good working order. Staff were friendly and available.

Smoke alarm overly sensitive and went off often. Mentioned this to the owner at check out and they said they would check it out. Currently road work happening close by. Was only a problem one night when they worked through the night.

Hidden little gem of a place! Clean, comfy, and reasonably priced. Would definitely consider again if we’re ever back in the Penticton area.
