Great staff, clean room, great treatment for honeymoon, good food and drinks on site

The hotel is in a great location, but the best part of it is the staff. From Tony and Kelly Ann the owners to Mary and the bar and breakfast staff they made you feel at home.

I’ve stayed in 5 hotels over my Ireland trip and this was actually my favorite. I am sad I had only stayed one night. There is a lift which was great. Room was definitely small, but I was solo so it was okay. The bathrooms were nice and clean and plenty stocked. Bed so very comfy. Best part was the view of the main street from my window! The woman at the front desk when I checked in was extremely nice and gave me recommendations.

Everything about our stay was top-notch, especially the service from Laura at the front desk. Her exceptional attention to detail made our entire stay run smoothly. I have rarely experienced such a genuine level of care and attentiveness from a hotel staff member. Laura truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for.

Great breakfast and lovely staff

The room was very dark and very warm. There was a fan provided in the room but the kitchen extraction fan was outside our window which went off early in the morning, you couldn't open the window because of the noise. We only stayed one night, but I would not like the room if we were staying there for longer.

Great breakfast, definitely worth the cost. Very friendly staff. Great location, walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.

The shower was on the small size, but the water flow was wonderful.

Beaucoup trop cher pour les prestation offertes. Chambre un peu vieillotte (fenêtre, salle de bain). Pas de prise près du lit. Lit 2 places contre le mur (pas pratique si on est 2). Petit déjeuner servi à table. Pas vraiment de buffet.

The staff was very helpful. They assisted us with suggestions for things to see and places to eat. This helped make our stay memorable. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. They were always available if you needed anything. The lady who looked after us at breakfast was so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Great choice and plenty of everything for breakfast. The night porter was really friendly. The room was comfortable and the location was great. The cleaning staff were also very good and cleaned the room to a very good standard. The towels are so white and fluffy. Great to have for comfort when your on holiday. This hotel is really well run and managed. Keep up the good work, as well as being really professional all the staff provide a pleasant and comfortable service for people staying in the hotel. I needed a room for a wedding.Lovely little Hotel in centre of killarney. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was amazing with full irish but also healthy options like fruit and granola. Price was quite good for Killarney

Il letto era così comodo che ho dormito come un bambino! Ogni mattina mi svegliavo riposato e pronto per affrontare la giornata. La pulizia era impeccabile, e si vede che il personale tiene davvero a far sentire gli ospiti a loro agio.Cibo e Servizi Non posso non parlare della colazione: era deliziosa! Hanno una selezione di piatti locali e il caffè è davvero ottimo. È stato un modo perfetto per iniziare la giornata prima di uscire a esplorare.Accoglienza e Servizio Il personale è stato super cordiale e disponibile. Ogni volta che avevo bisogno di un consiglio su cosa fare o dove mangiare, erano sempre pronti ad aiutarmi. Mi hanno fatto sentire come se fossi a casa!Posizione La posizione è un altro punto a favore: è centrale e puoi raggiungere facilmente a piedi molte attrazioni. È stato così comodo non dover prendere trasporti complicati.Conclusione In sintesi, consiglio vivamente il McSweeney Arms Hotel a chiunque voglia trascorrere un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. The location is perfect. It was just far enough away from town that it was less crowded and quieter. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. There is a pub on site and breakfast is available if wanted.

The only issue was cooling down the room during Ireland’s heatwave. We totally understand that this is an anomaly and hotels in Ireland don’t supply air conditioning, because it is usually unneeded. The property provided a fan and advised us to keep our windows open and curtains drawn. Even with this effort, the room was often much warmer than we are accustomed to.

Comfortable bed, fan was on and curtains drawn since it was very hot when I visited. Staff was truly amazing - so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Hope to return!

For us travelling by train, centre of town location was perfect. Bit noisy during night but to be expected with an on the street location. Nice bar with good lunches No evening meals but so many restaurants nearby The breakfasts were superb. Cooked breakfast prepared while we waited (not long) Probably the best cooked breakfast we have ever had in any hotel. Not just generous quantity and delicious but beautifully presented. Staff very friendly.

Mary was there to great us and she couldn’t have been nicer! She held our bags while we started exploring Killarney. She helped us with taxis, recommendations and directions. Really made our stay special!

The room was nice and slept well in the double bed.

I was not impressed with the breakfast pricing as it was higher than the local breakfast places for the more or less same food. Expected a lower price range for guests in the hotel.

Hotel was in the perfect location for exploring Kilarney. The hotel staff were some of the firendliest and most helpful people we met in Ireland - now that is saaying a lot as everyone in Ireland was super friendly. Full Irish breakfast was good and the service outstanding.

While they did not have parking on the premises, there were multiple solutions for us that were convenient enough to meet our needs. Mulitple public parking places within walking distance that allowed overnight parking.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this charming hotel. The staff was exceptional, warm, and welcoming. We happened to arrive on the day of a big football match, when the town was especially busy. The young woman at the front desk was personable, attentive, and incredibly helpful in suggesting and booking a dinner reservation for us. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and a highlight of our stay. We also appreciated the hotel's central location, which made it easy to explore the area. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Was a bit noisy from the street but I brought ear plugs and was not a problem for me.

Location, breakfast was unreal all cooked fresh. Staff top notch.

Since the hotel is in a convenient location from the train station, we were easily able to walk to it. The reception area always had a friendly staff member to greet us and answer our questions. I was glad there was a lift after my knee started to give me trouble. We were able to find good bars, restaurants, and a convenience store very close by. The hotel vibe is not pretentious, but warm and comfortable- just the way we like it.

I was glad to get a cooked breakfast at the hotel, but I would have also liked to have had the choice of paying less for a smaller breakfast as an alternative.

Loud noise level outside very late at night and very early in the morning even with earplugs (bar across the street left music on even after closing and threw kegs around onto a truck at 6:00 in the morning) room was VERY warm even with a fan so the window couldn't be closed
