Είχε μια έντονη και ενοχλητική μυρωδιά

Il punto forte della struttura è sicuramente la sua posizione centrale ma comunque comoda con fermata del bus vicino e anche la possibilità di farsi lasciare dal taxi di fronte alla porta di ingresso. Altro punto forte il bagno, di dimensioni adeguate con una grande doccia, con piccolo asciugacapelli disponibile. Per raggiungere i piani superiori è necessario fare una breve ma ripida rampa di scale assolutamente fattibile. Camera al nostro arrivo pulita e cambio asciugamani quotidiano. Ottimo il piccolo frigorifero della camera, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato già dell’acqua per noi! Host disponibile e attenta, il mattino seguente ha subito risolto la nostra problematica legata alla mancanza di asciugamani nella camera, una piccola svista subito rimediata con grande attenzione.

La posizione perfetta: vicino al centro, con un parcheggio gratuito nelle vicinanze o possibilità di parcheggio a pagamento ugualmente vicino. Stanza spaziosa, silenziosa e super pulita.

Le scale ripide per accedere alla stanza

La posizione centrale molto comoda e vicina ai servizi e l'ampiezza della camera. I letti erano comodi.

Purtroppo siamo rimasti delusi dai servizi. La camera assegnataci non rispecchiava le foto pubblicate dalla struttura. Non c'erano spazi per poter stendere gli asciugamani da mare. La reception non era mai presidiata a parte l'ultima mattina quando abbiamo lasciato la camera. Le pulizie non sono state fatte bene, e il cambio asciugamani era fatto ogni due giorni.

Posizione comoda praticamente attaccata alla città vecchia, grande disponibilità del personale, camera grande ed accogliente,edificio molto bello.Nelle vicinanze si trova di tutto negozi, ristoranti....

Unica piccola pecca è la mancanza dell'ascensore,ed una scalinata abbastanza stretta,ma essendo un palazzo antico è assolutamente comprensibile

Μου αρεσε πολυ το προσωπικο. Στη ρεσεψιον η κ. Χαρα ευγενεστατη κ εξυπηρετικοτατη αλλα και η καθαριστρια εξαιρετικη. Το δωματιο στο 1ο οροφο ειχε πολυ ανετο μπανιο. Κρεβατοκαμαρη επισης αλλα κ το διπλο κρεβατι σε εξαιρετη κατασταση! Ειχε ωραιο μπαλκονακι στο διαδρομο με ωραια θεα! Ηταν πολυ κοντα στη πλατεια 866 νομιζω που απο εκει ηταν πολυ κοντινη κ πολυ ευχαριστη η διαδρομη για το ενετικο λιμανι!

Δεν υπαρχει κατι αρνητικο.

Localização ótima a 5 minutos a pé da Central Bus Station e do Old Harbour. Quarto espaçoso e aconchegante, com tudo o que é preciso para uma estadia agradável.

Deze accomodatie in het centrum van Chania voelt steeds fijn om terug te komen. Bed is goed, ruime badkamer met prettige douche, effectieve airco. Buiten inchecktijd kom je binnen met een code, 10 minuten later wandel je richting stadsboulevard in het oude centrum met taverna's en winkels of drink je koffie in een bar naast TheJoy. Een auto parkeer je in de omgeving op straat of op een parking. Je moet goed ter been zijn, de kamers zijn op de 1e verdieping of hoger te bereiken per trap.

Central location; a short walk from old harbour

The location is very convenient to the city center by walking distance. The rooms are clean, spacious and quite. The beds are comfortable. The check in process is easy.

The property has no elevator, and the upstairs room can only be accessed by the stairs. If the travelers have big suitcase, it would be a challenge. But since we had our carry on luggage, there was no big deal for us.

Host simpaticissima, stabile molto bello e silenzioso. A un passo dal centro, fuori dal chaos. Nelle vicinanze tutte le attività commerciali utili.

Rooms was beautiful. The location incredible, only seconds from downtown and the bus stop. The best part was the person working there, she was absolutely lovely, saying hello every morning and the most accommodating when we requested another night stay!! She even tried helping us when we wanted to stay again for another night!! Highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat ! Thank you for everything

Lovely renovated town house. We had a room with a high ceiling and balcony overlooking the street.

Nothing to dislike

I loved it from the moment I entered the building. A lovely smell of candies and sweets welcomed me, and the charming interior design made the place feel warm and welcoming right away. The reception team was extremely kind and supportive, and they even accepted my request for an early check-in, which I really appreciated. The location is amazing, close to everything, and the Wi-Fi is super strong — perfect for remote workers like me. Honestly, I felt at home.

It's very well located. quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes to bus terminal, city center for tourists ( old within wall part where most atomospheric restaurants and shops that target tourists are located ) and more modern everyday shopping facilities light next to it (like super markets, bakery, casual restaurants etc). The room is clean and functional.

Nothing in particular. Reception was always empty but not a problem for me.

The location was excellent. The staff was responsive and we could leave our bags and retrieve them later after checkout.

Since the location is so central there is some noise.

Everything was great as always! The room is exactly what we need, so clean and convenient... The location is perfect, close to everything (the center, the old port and the bus station)... It is great value for money and Chara is a wonderful host! Thank you and see you again soon❤️🙏!

Great location - all tourist must-sees are near by. There’s also plenty of bistros, shops and conveniences in the area. Despite this central location the district was calm and quiet at night. The hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. We were offered a room with a balcony. Great for evening chill with the street hustle down below. All the necessities are available in the room and the mattress is very comfortable. Finally - our great hostess. We arrived early enough so despite self check-in available and ready for us we met the hostess. Kind, warm and very accommodating as we had a late flight back home and wanted to leave the luggage after the check-out.

The room, location and bed were very good.

I couldn't access the building because it was locked and didn't know an email had been sent to me telling me how to enter. A nice woman with cell service phoned TheJoy and helped me out.

Θέλει πολύ βελτίωση στη καθαριότητα μέσα κ έξω από το δωμάτιο Πολύ μικρό κ στεναχωρώ το μπάνιο δεν υπάρχει μια απλώστρα ώστε να μπορείς να απλώσεις μια πετσέτα ένα μαγιό στο μπαλκόνι ..δεν υπάρχει μια τέντα η ομπρέλα στο μπαλκόνι να μπορείς να βγεις να πιες ένα καφέ είναι κ πολύ βρόμικα καλό είναι να υπάρχει κ ένα χαλάκι να μπορείς να πατάς κάτω να ντυθείς άνετα που δεν είχε ήταν κ βρόμικο το πάτωμα

The housekeeper is a lovely lady. Other than that, not much. The husband of the owner couple, who I encountered late in a long stay is a nice man.

No one available to check in when I arrived. Bird poop on the balcony. The rooms do not live up to the pictures. Smell of old building was noticeable when I arrived. Long flight of 40 stairs to get to the first level from the lobby . The woman who owns the place is a real snake. If you say you don't think the room looks so nice and there are too many stairs she takes you down the street to another building where the lobby is in a horribly run down state and says you can stay here instead. Although we had little interaction during my long stay, when I saw her drinking coffee at the cafe downstairs, she tried to hide behind her friend, pretending not to see me. The taxi driver described her as "stuck up". I agree. I asked to arrange assistance for bringing my luggage down the long stairway in advance of the checkout. She gave me the impression I would have to do it myself. I was on the verge of complaining to booking dot com when she finally agreed to arrange it. The room has large numbers of tiny ants that appear if a crumb is dropped. I looked inside the electric kettle. Live ants were swimming there.

Central location and easy walk to all areas of interest, especially the bus station, which is useful for all day trips and getting to and from the airport. Nice building and next to a great cafe.

The location was very central to lots of shops ,cafes etc and only very close to the beautiful harbour. The room was airy and the bed was huge ! Fridge and kettle very handy and our room had a lovely little balcony to sit and watch the world go by, not a sea view but pleasant all the same. The staff were lovely, really happy to suggest the best places to eat etc . We even got to keep our room on checkout day as the owner didn't have a booking coming in ,that made our last day so much better.

TheJoy ist sehr zentral gelegen, fast in der Altstadt. Alles (Altstadt, Strand, Archäologisches Museum) kann leicht zu Fuß erreicht werden. Es ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um Chania zu entdecken. Es sind viele kleine Cafés in der Straße. Die Inhaber und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Η τοποθεσία ήταν πάρα πολύ καλή. Αν και είναι κέντρο δεν δυσκολεύεσαι στο parking αν έχεις λίγο υπομονή. Πολύ εξυπηρετικό το προσωπικό και αρκετά καθαρό το δωμάτιο!

Posizione comoda al centro e vicino alla stazione dei bus. Silenzioso.

La pulizia della camera sarebbe da migliorare, così come da eliminare la muffa nella doccia. Il supporto del doccino in bagno era rotto e ci hanno detto che non era possibile aggiustarlo, quindi per quattro notti di permanenza abbiamo dovuto arrangiarci a lavarci tenendo il doccino in mano. Il nostro balcone era fuori dalla camera (con accesso dal corridoio comune) con sedie e tavolino coperti di polvere e qualche regalino di volatile e nessuno stendino dove mettere teli e costumi. Un solo comodino che ostruisce parzialmente l'accesso alla porta nel bagno. Arredi essenziali e abbastanza vissuti. Che dire, ho soggiornato in alloggi ben più modesti, ma il questo caso la qualità offerta non giustifica il prezzo pagato.

Konumu merkeziydi. Ulaşım iyidi. Erişimi kolaydı. Resepsiyondakiler yardımcı oldu.

Park yeri var olduğu söylendi ancak yoktu. Temiz çok kötüydü. Oda toz içindeydi. Havlular lekeliydi. Banyoda tuvalet kâğıdının konulduğu yer kırıktı. Tuvalet kâğıtlarını lavabo kenarına koyduğumuz için hep ıslandı. Klozet kırıktı. Islak kıyafetleri kurutabileceğimiz bir alan yoktu. Odanın olanakları yetersizdi.

All in all, it is Ok hotel if you are on the budget. Want to specifically thank admin lady Hana, she saved our day by quickly changing our original room. Location wise the place is superb.

One caution to guests, try to specifically avoid Green room, it has only one window. What i would suggest to the managers is add at least a microwave to the common kitchen, not even asking for a simple coffee machine. Also, there was no way to dry the swim suits etc, rooms need dryer hangers.

Great location, right next to the old town. We had a big and spacious room with a balcony. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would come back for sure.

Only thing was that bed had two small mattresses put together, that were drifting apart sometimes. Also there was no possibility to put do not disturb sign for the cleaning lady on the door. Otherwise all good.

Joy was extremely helpful in rearranging rooms to accommodate our request for a lower floor, accessible room. She even changed our room part way through our stay to give us more space and direct access to a lovely balcony. The hotel is beautiful and nicely decorated. Evenings on our Yellow Room balcony overlooking the vibrant street. Comfortable, quality beds. Well equipped room, with good storage. A communal sitting room we can use. The location is a very nice local area less than ten minutes walk to the harbour - best of both worlds. 15 minute walk to Koum Kapi beach one way (check out the wee beach in front of Machalas Restaurant; they are happy to seat you before and after swimming) and not much further to Nea Chora in the other direction. If you walk down Selinou to get there check out Syntrofia Ovelistirio for gyros at number 25 on your way back!

Room is big! location is good! worth we pay 119.6 EUR for 2 nights!

Quite close to everything in town. Restaurants are close by, short walk to waterfront and more restaurants . KTEL bus station is only about 3 blocks away.

I didn’t have an auto at the time i was staying there but I don’t know where you would park. Better ask on that front.

Well equipped and spacious room. Spacious bathroom. Great location, maybe one of the best in town because you are very close to the harbor and old town area, but still on a quite street. Very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Right at the entrance you'll find a great place with coffee and pastries. 2 mins walk to well known bougatsa place (Iordanis).

Sometimes can be difficult to find a parking space on the nearby streets. Otherwise, the accommodation is great.
