Petit déjeuner correct sans plus. Mais surtout pièce sans fenêtre. On appellerait cela un "sous-marin" en bon français. De plus pas d'ascenseur pour l'accès aux chambres donc extrêmement malaisé de monter deux étages 1/2 à pieds avec deux valises de près de 25 kilos chacune. A l'aller on nous a aidé à monter nos bagages dans la chambre mais en partant vers 17. heures il n'y avait plus personne à la réception. La porte donnant accès à ce local était simplement fermée. Et impossible d'appeler le N° de l'hôtel car aucun réseau téléphonique dans les chambres ou les couloirs.

Surtout la non-disponibilité du personnel. En quittant l'hôtel en fin de matinée et après y avoir laissé nos valises dans une chambre attenante, on nous a dit qu'on nous appellerait un taxi pour rejoindre l'aéroport. Or, plus personne dans les lieux pour nous assister. INADMISSIBLE pour une chambre vendue à près de 400 euros la nuit. Donc rapport qualité/prix totalement NUL vu la qualité du service. La seule chose positive était l'emplacement à proximité du Panthéon. Pas de pièce commune/salon ni de bar.

The bed was very firm, the pillows were flat as pancakes, and it was lacking in some of the basics. Our ride from the airport dropped us off in an alleyway in front of an unmarked door and we initially wondered where the heck we were supposed to go. I saw the number above the door and then saw a tiny metal plate that had the property name so we went into the door to find… a stark, barren hallway. There was a guy in work clothes throwing rotten fruit into a bin from a food storage closet and two other people standing around who we thought were maybe residents of the building (no name tags or anything to indicate they were employees). I asked “uhm… is there a check in somewhere? is this even a hotel?” at which point the day said “oh yes right this way” and led us up an unlit stairwell. The reception area on the second floor was more welcoming, she got our keys then walked us down the stairs, out the door, around the alley to another alley 2 streets over to go up to our actual room. While it was clean, it was not at all like any of the pictures of the rooms on booking’s website and the air conditioning barely worked. It was the worst sleep any of us had in a very, very long time. The room felt perpetually muggy and warm although not as hot as it was outside. In fact, on the second day of our stay there was a torrential downpour of rain and my (brand new) sneakers were soaked. I put them on top of the aircon vent to dry out thinking the airflow of cold, presumably de-humidified cold air would help them dry faster. Three days. THREE! I left my shoes on that vent for three days and they still weren’t dry - it defied all logic and reason. We left on the fourth day to go to Sorrento and my shoes absolutely reeked of mold and mildew when I put them in a bag inside my luggage.

Breakfast was not bad and the room was large. Yes the location was amazing.

Perfect location within walking distance of all the main attractions in Rome! The staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating. When we arrived, they gave us a map and took the time to explain where we were and the best ways to get around and see the sights. They always greeted us warmly and were more than happy to help with anything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet, especially considering we were just around the corner from the Pantheon and the main streets. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely welcome, we were located across the piazza in the annex family room. Perfect location, stepped out of the main door and yards away from the Pantheon. Accommodation a great size, we had the family room, furniture tradition but fit the theme of the area and we really liked it. Had everything we needed. Entrance vestibule with desk and shelving, then through to large single room with single bed, counter with tea/coffee making facilities. Through to the double room, comfortable bed, storage closet. Seating area and bedside tables and desk with mirror. Bathroom okay, shower had shower curtain. Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hand soaps and shower caps provided and plenty of towels replenished daily. We really enjoyed our stay.

WiFi can be hit and miss. Air con okay, not very cold, just okay.

We had an excellent experience at La Residenza de sole al Pantheon. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful and charming, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

There was water nets everywhere in the main floor bathroom . Also the toilet would not flush or would keep running. The room with the twin beds smelled like sewer. The bedroom in front of the pantheon air conditioning was not working. Notified property but was still hot that night. This hotel cost too much for all of these issues. I highly recommend not to book and booking.com to remove them from their site.

BLOOD ON SHEETS I REPEAT BLOOD ON SHEETS. This place was an absolutely biohazard. We were “upgraded” to the most creepy room ever and ended up having to stay in the children’s bedroom because there was blood in our bed. The sinks were filled with bugs. Mold and dirt on every sink and bathroom. Customer service was incredibly rude (George) when I tried to call and let him know the situation before I went forward with this review. Whatever you do, do not stay here. They must be giving themselves ratings because it was absolutely nothing like the photos. So so creepy.

Ideal location in Rome, superb service organizing a private taxi to collect us from the cruise port. The reception staff member met us at the car and carried our luggage up to a room that was ready at 11am for us! 100% would stay here again.

The location was amazing. The size of the apartment was incredible, although the bathroom was a little cramped. Great to have a lift to help with the luggage. Spotlessly clean and serviced every day. Very efficient air con which was a life saver this summer ! Very close to the major attractions and great restaurants, as advertised you can see the Pantheon from the room, you can almost touch it !

The location was PERFECT. We got rooms overlooking the Pantheon and it was fantastic, and centrally located. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they kindly upgraded us. They helped us arrange transportation to and from the train station for our family, and the drivers were very professional and courteous and the van immaculate. The rooms were great sides, nicely furnished and bathrooms nice. Great air conditioning. Great value and location.

While the general location is crowded due to The Pantheon it added to the overall vacation vibe. Rooms were perfect for family of 5. Everyone felt like they had space. View of The Pantheon was special.

The location was fantastic right next to the Pantheon. The staff were lovely - we had arrived in Rome from the cruise port so we were there well before the official check in time. Our room was ready and we were given aces to it immediately which meant we could go exploring. Similarly on checkout our flight was later in the day - no problem to leave the luggage and have a key to let ourselves back in. The staff couldn’t do enough for us which was fantastic.

This is a fantastic place to experience the true heart of Rome, with its unique atmosphere and everything happening around it. The location, just steps away from the Pantheon, allowed us to enjoy warm evenings with a glass of wine at a small outdoor table while admiring the Pantheon. It was truly wonderful and made our stay unforgettable.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. It was incredibly quiet, and we couldn't hear any noise from the street at all. It was hard to believe that we were sleeping right in the heart of Rome. The atmosphere of the apartment felt like a journey back in time, perfectly capturing the spirit of Rome and its historic landmarks. We slept very well because it was so peaceful and quiet. We truly experienced the authentic charm of Rome and real Italian life. Staying there allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique atmosphere of the city, making our visit even more memorable.

Wow, the locations was superb. You cannot ask for a more prime location - than overlooking the Pantheon. We booked the Junior Suite and had direct line of sight views to the main entrance of the Pantheon, which was amazing. Their is an energy from staying in this location. It was a great stay - everything was perfect - we stayed for 6 nights, and could not fault the team - from reception to cleaning. All 5 star !

The location is excellent - you can easily walk everywhere. However, this unfortunately also means that it is extremely noisy throughout the night. The windows are very thin, and all the street noise can be clearly heard from the room, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which was definitely the positive side of the stay. Unfortunately, that is where the good things ended.

The price-to-quality ratio is not justified. The hotel is listed as a 4-star property on Booking, but in reality it is a 3-star hotel. The rooms are worn out, the furniture is outdated, and even the bed linens feel tired and used. The room also did not look like the pictures shown online. The breakfast was also disappointing, with a very limited selection. Another issue was that Booking allowed us to select a twin room, but upon arrival we were told that this room type does not actually exist. Instead, we were given an “upgrade” to a larger room meant for four people. While the room was bigger, it still did not match what we originally booked and expected.

Notre chambre appartement était situé dans un autre bâtiment qui donnait sur le côté du Panthéon. Nous n'avons donc pas eu les petits déjeuners compris. Quartier et appartement très bruyant. Difficile de bien dormir à cause des vitrages simples et des bruits de rue. C'était donc plus une location d'appartement qu'une chambre d'hôtel. On n'a presque pas vu le personnel de l'hôtel. Les transports en commun sont assez loin parce qu'on est dans le centre historique piétonnier. Il faut marcher énormément.

Die Lage dicht zum Pantheon ist stark vom Tourismus beeinflusst. Dieses führt dazu, dass man viele touristische Ziele fussläufig erreicht. Das kleine Hotel befindet sich im ersten Stock eines alten Palasts. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und super sauber. Es gab ein reichhaltiges Frühstück. Das Personal ist stets hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Property was in a perfect location. It's right next to Pantheon, surrounded by restaurants and shops and Gelato places.

We hadden een vierpersoonskamer geboekt maar kregen bij aankomst een update naar de executive suite omdat we langer dan 3 nachten verbleven. Dit was geweldig met een prachtig uitzicht op het Pantheon. De slaapkamers en badkamers waren heel netjes en schoon. Iedere dag werden de bedden opgemaakt en de badkamers gepoetst en kregen we schone handdoeken. We hadden een late terugvlucht en konden de koffers in de suite laten staan totdat we naar het vliegveld vertrokken. We konden geen ontbijt bijboeken, maar er zijn genoeg restaurantjes in de buurt waar je prima kunt ontbijten. De locatie is zo centraal dat je alle bezienswaardigheden lopend kunt bereiken. Er zijn heel veel restaurantjes in de buurt waar je 's avonds lekker kunt eten.

While the location was superb, we were not accommodated on the main building but an adjacent private apartment building where it turned out that three of those apartments were owned by the hotel. That is not what we had booked, as we do not want to contribute to the gentrification that massive tourism is causing to major cities. Hotel rooms should never be part of a private apartment building. That is why we never use AirBnB and that is why we are very disappointed that the hotel never told us about it until we were there.

Since it was not a hotel but an old apartment building and we were in one of the former apartments, the room was old and small. It did not look like the four stars the hotel claims to have, it felt more like three than four. The bed was very comfortable and the windows did a good job dimming the outside noise, but the air conditioning was old and loud. However, what we disliked the most was not being in a hotel but a private building that should only be for neighbors.

Air conditioning awful ( they must be aware as despite full air conditioning unit in each of the 2 rooms ( bedroom and 2nd room), they have an electric table fan in the cupboard ( no need to provide that if the air conditioning was functioning). Bathroom/shower small and water pressure poor - but not unusual for a historic type building ( charming) in a European city.). Reception only open 7am to 8.00pm and often unattended during those hours - which makes arrivals/departures sometimes tricky.

We verbleven van dinsdag tot zondag bij La Residenza del Sole al Pantheon en hebben een erg prettig verblijf gehad. De locatie is werkelijk perfect: midden in het centrum en vrijwel alles in Rome is op loopafstand te bereiken. Voor een stedentrip is dit echt ideaal. De kamer en het verblijf waren schoon en hygiënisch, wat meteen een goede indruk gaf. Alles was netjes verzorgd en het voelde comfortabel om hier meerdere dagen te verblijven. Een leuk extra punt is dat er tegenover het verblijf een plek zit waar je heerlijk koffie en broodjes kunt halen, wat perfect is voor een snel ontbijt voordat je de stad ingaat. Samenvattend: een fijne plek om te verblijven met een top locatie. Wij zouden La Residenza del Sole al Pantheon zeker aanraden aan anderen die Rome bezoeken.

Het enige kleine minpunt was het geluid van buiten. Omdat je zo centraal zit, hoor je soms straatgeluiden. Mogelijk kan dit al grotendeels worden opgelost met wat extra isolatie bij de ramen.

We found the location was great- near The Pantheon and many great restaurants. Dennis was so helpful arranging transportation for us and going above board in assisting us.

If there is any negative for us , it is there is no elevator. However the staff was very helpful.
