Econo Lodge

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer in der zweiten Etage. Es war ein kürzlich renoviertes Zimmer und so war die Ausstattung gut und nicht abgewohnt. Die Betten waren gemütlich und alles war sehr sauber. Preis/Leistung ist sehr überzeugend und WLAN funktioniert. Frühstück gibt es beim gegenüber liegenden Tim Horton‘s. Abends hatten wir Essen von Zen Noodle House.

very poor lightning in room. staff were not accommodating at all. The first room was disgusting with toilet seat half off the toilet and splatter all over bathroom wall. The phone in room had a bunch of stuff spilled all over it and the lock on the room was less than adequate. I brought it to the attention of the staff - they wanted to come see it and just put me in the room next door. I asked for a lower ground level room and was told no - without really looking to see if there was one available. I had to make 6 trips up 2 flights of stairs. The shower was barely warm at best it was a good thing it was hot out.

Friendly and clean ,and someone that is having heath trouble and has to go out of town ,the cost of this place makes the whole thing worthwhile.

Tv didn’t work, light by the bed didn’t work and gap under the door was big enough for rats to come in

I stayed for one night and it was awful. I forget the room number but it was above the office kind of. What a dump. I traveled away for one night then returned for another night and that room was really good. It was like I was at a completely different hotel. How is that possible?

Been there twice one room was a complete dump. I returned a couple of days later (only because I'd already paid) and the room I got on that second day was completely different. It was really quite good.

I don’t know what i like about it they canceled my stay when I was on my was there travelling 10 to attend Fastball

I liked the room set up.

I did not realize it was surrounded by homeless/drug users and was really worried for our vehicle which had a bunch of valuables in it.

Staff. Central. Quiet. Breakfast cafe in same block, opens 07.00 and a Tim Horton’s across the road, opens at 05.00 hours. Microwave and coffee in room and hot water dispenser in Reception. Easy short Walking distance from Via Rail.

Having to pay CAD100 up front as security. Refunded at check out. I haven’t checked my account yet!

The room was comfortable and nicely laid out. The hotel itself was only a few blocks away from a fenced in dog park, which worked well for us as we were traveling with family pets.

The fact the price was what the coast hotel charges for half the effort , there was hair still all over the room that wasn't mine on check in , the flooring needs to be re done , and the bathroom was usable but extremely unsightly

Overall, the stay was okay, but there were a couple of things I simply couldn't understand. The property is quite old and not fancy—it's more like a motel than a hotel. That wasn't necessarily a problem, as it was clean and served its purpose. However, the hot and cold water indicators in the shower were reversed. I honestly don't understand how something like this can happen in a hotel. Also, the bathtub was extremely slippery. It was difficult to stand safely while showering, and it felt like a serious safety hazard that should be addressed. Other than these issues, everything else was fine.

There wasnt a breakfast, place was run down and dirty. Shower tiles cracked and dirty, grease on light fixtures, chips out of head board, floor installed poorly, overall not clean. Bad area, poor parking,

Sorry mixed up boxes, but didnt like anything about the stay. It was a last minute booking and i thought this was the place a little further down the road. We will not stay again. The price was too good, i should of thought twice.

The friendliness from front desk to housekeeping. The room was very clean and well furnished but small. Aubree's restaurant was fabulous. The best breakfasts!

It would have been great to have a couple of patio tables with chairs in the outdoor common area. The large pots of flowers were beautiful!

Traveling alone - felt unsafe . Did not stay for the 2 nights booked- they still charged both nights . Bad vibes , smelly rooms, no customer service , i would not recommend- unless you are traveling in a group and are okay with drug addicts surrounding the building. Never stayed at all got charged full price for both nights - that is a little greedy - learned my lesson and that's ok.

The soundproofing of the hotel is very poor. We could hear people talking and walking in the rooms above us and there was a lot of noise from a group of young men in an adjacent room.

You just cant beat the cost. And with it being walking distance to the leisure centre, the movie theatre, the least expensive gas station in town, and pretty much anything you might need over an evening you simply cant go wrong.

I booked through booking.com so im not sure if it was a lack of specifics through them, or the actual hotel but i nearly lost my reservation because I did not check-in by 3 oclock. Thankfully i stopped while traveling and happened to check my emails that the card used on the reservation was no longer valid and i was going to be using another one when i got there to check-in.

It's convenient and clean for an older motel. I liked the wood-like floors instead of carpet. Staff was friendly. I was able to overcome the accessibility issues, but if you were limited to a walker or wheelchair, there would be problems. i plan on staying again.

Top light was very bright. Took me a while to realize the side lamps were touch controlled! The tunnel to the rear parking has been removed so it took a bit longer to walk around. The mattresses were on the soft side. It's not accessible to the office and rooms on to the main building and needs a ramp to that area from the front parking lot along with an accessible parking stall. To get to the other section, there are stairs or you have to go down a slope in the parking lot, which is hazardous in wintery weather.

- floors are not vacuumed during our stay - television is not functional - beds are too soft - floor material squeaks a lot, especially the part in front of the TV in between the beds - room assigned (111) to us is just by the street and we hear all the car honks.

Old and some rooms are renovated but this rm 259 is disgusting with pigeon shit and feathers outside the door.Old black mould on the tiles around the tub,curtains ready to fall off.Terrible cable TV choice even the local tv channel is blocked.Bed is sunken in on one side so it felt like I was rolling down a hill!Pillows are worn like the sheets.Has an old urine door to it.Dark with1 working light unless you use the bathroom light.Been patched up too many times it’s beyond renovating again.

The receptionist expected me and had a room all ready for me. I declined because of the climbing. However it was one night and I took what she had left. She was very cheerful and accommodating. The morning receptionist was cheery and lovely!

Parking lot was hard to navigate and oddly shaped

Parking isn't very convenient for pickup trucks or larger vehicles. If you're new to the area, it's easy to pass the hotel, as it's located on the side of the street right after the turn from the main street. I saw a couple of homeless people with apparent mental health issues wandering around, which made the hotel feel a little less secure. I guess that situation might be common in Prince George, not just around the motel.

There's not enough parking for all the guests.

It was close to grocery stores and restaurants as well as the pool.

I stayed there years back and it just opened so it was very nice then. Since it has gone down in cleanliness and the staff was rude. A lot of homelessness stays near so night it gets active, parking was not great also. My spouse paid with his debit card and they still took money out of my account $120, that was used to book the room, when clearly there was an option to pay the desk. While my spouse was in the office another couple came in claiming the same thing happen, they was out $500. They also didn’t have the room i requested because they was fully booked, didn’t tell me until I was checking in. Never again.

Room was freshly renovated and had everything we needed.

Location is in a low socioeconomic area, with social services buildings close by attracting disadvantaged individuals who surround the building. We felt quite uncomfortable leaving the room and wouldn’t recommended walking the nearby streets as we witnessed some troubling interactions. The lodge itself houses such guests, which I respect but keep in mind there are constantly people coming and going often times causing loud disturbances. We noticed the lodge piles up stacks of bags/belongings that were kept outside the lobby, resulting in an unpleasant smell wafting through the complex. Ultimately, this room was fine for us for one night as we passed through Prince George, but I wouldn’t recommend bringing children here or staying for longer periods unless you are familiar with the area.

There is a heater in the washroom, under the sink, you need to turn it off manually or the room will heat up like an oven pretty fast. Take a while to find the heater
