Golden Boutique Hotel Kemayoran

Met twee jaar ervaring met ho(s)tels op Java kan ik zeggen dat (dit soort) hotels vaak ‘vergane glorie’ zijn, doordat na de nieuwbouw zo min mogelijk aan onderhoud wordt uitgegeven. Maar dit Golden Boutique Hotel wordt, van wat ik gezien heb, goed up-to-date gehouden. Verder was het meeste personeel meer open dan ik gewend ben. Als je altijd alleen reist is dat heel prettig. Ook waren er gelukkig veel andere gasten, ook groepen. Ik heb het er prima naar mijn zin gehad. De omgeving leende zich vrij goed voor mijn hobby: lopen door Javaanse kampongs.

I was staying in 16th floor. There were a lot of staffing cleaning the rooms and banging the door. One of the staff was trying to open my door without knocking when I was in the bathroom. It’s very uncomfortable and unprofessional.

The tasty breakfast was exceptional as were the staff. The lobby area and gym was great for my stay. Very central location for trips to monas, old Jakarta and access to thousand Islands.

The air-conditioning was not up to any standard for a foreigner to be comfortable. It was a shame as it's my only complaint.

Rooms need maintenance a lot of begs and Cockroaches coming out of sewer pipes

Break fast was good. I did enjoy the local gruel (Burbur) very much. We went to the inhouse Karoki , which was announced as openeed, but was not functional, perhaps we had to reserve it in advance.

Rooms are really spacious, amazing offering for breakfast, staff are lovely, AC works very well.

Room did have a slight smell of cigarette as I imagine it was a smoking room once upon a time, couple of small cockroaches in the room and the room decor could do with some modernising to bring it in line with the entrance to the hotel.

The aesthetics and architecture of the building are beautiful.

We stayed at this hotel from January 3rd to January 11th (8 nights) for our honeymoon. As international travelers from South Africa, we were excited for our stay, but unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. Room Conditions & Cleanliness: We were initially placed in Room 910, which had a strong smell of alcohol and blood spatters on the wall. The bathroom door was also cracked and broken. After requesting a room change, we were moved to Room 1110, which was better visually but had a bug infestation in the bathroom, making it distressing to use. We were then moved to Room 1130, where the air conditioner was broken and leaking water. Despite multiple calls, it took hours for a technician to arrive. The next morning, the bathroom was flooded due to a leaking toilet, and later, the hand basin also started leaking, causing further inconvenience. The TV’s sound only worked on selected channels. Housekeeping & Service: Housekeeping was inconsistent and slow. Despite multiple requests, our room was not cleaned in a timely manner, and it took over three hours for someone to respond. Staff were not welcoming or accommodating and did not make any effort to ensure a pleasant stay. Additional Charges & Poor Service: We requested food to be warmed, and while they initially accommodated us (for 15,000 Rp), the next two times, they were rude and unhelpful, refusing to assist. The swimming pool was advertised as open until 9 PM, but we were told it closed at 6 PM and were not allowed to swim. The pool towel policy was applied unfairly. The sign clearly states one towel per person, yet my husband and I were only given one towel to share, while a local family received one per person. Final Thoughts: This hotel has serious issues with maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service. Despite its beautiful architecture, the poor hospitality and lack of proper service make it undeserving of its high rating.

The room was spacious and clean.

The air conditioning is very bad. It was so hot in the room and we couldn’t sleep at all. I called the receptionist to complain about the temperature and he said somebody will come to check on the air conditioning but unfortunately nobody came.

Location/ Ambience

Hot water is little problem. Money exchange or paying for taxi with a credit card is a problem.

The breakfast time i saw the plates and glasses are really dirty they didn’t clean it properly and also when i took a juice i didn’t see there was a cockroach i was shocked and also very slow service in room there restaurant and one more thing there is no near any restaurant or side seeing market

The amenities were poor, not enough toilet paper, and no towel at all. We have to request everything for our stay. The safe did not work, and I was told by my colleagues that the safe in their rooms did not work either. The technician came and spent 15-20 minutes, to finally declare they could not fix it. The service staff lied. We were waiting for the shuttle bus to the 2004 Asian International Stamp Exhibition in the near by building, and the shuttle bus never came. When we called the hotel, the front desk staff said the bus "is coming", then a lot of us waited for over an hour, no bus showed up. When we confronted the front desk staff, they shrugged and did not even apologize. This is a terrible hotel.

The hotel looks like it is not being taken care of by the owner, the bathroom is dirty and the towels are dirty. Room facilities are old and neglected. The food in the restaurant can be rated as good and satisfying

The hotel was fine for the price. It's massive and in a decent location. Everything in the room was on the older side. There were stains all over the place. The walls were peeling. A lot of the channels on the TV were not working or had a lot of static.

The hotel favility is catastrophic for tourist, especially that is very old building, in very dirty area. Is big mistake to get it in the list of my choices. The hotel is mainly dirty, nasty and fealthy smoking smell everywhere in the hotel. You can feel the bad smelling stuck everywhere in the room. It was very painfull to stay in the room with very poor smell. Additionally, the shower is very old style, I cannot find place to my shower stuff in. Indeed, the hotel is near to trully public sewage channel : something like river of sewage for 10 or 12 meter width. In some, it was nightmare.

Vergeleken met andere hotels in Jakarta die in de middenklasse kwa prijs vallen voldoet dit hotel goed. Ik heb vaker in verschillende hotels in Jakarta gezeten en ben op enkele hotels na vaak teleur gesteld geweest over de kwaliteit en de hygiëne. Dit hotel doet het beduidend beter.

Grand hotel de style. Accueil et service professionnel. Belle chambre, vaste hall luxieux. Taxis à disposition dans la courre de l'hotel y compris pour un départ à l'aube pour l'aeroport. Un petit déjeuner composés de bons gateaux nous à été donné lors de notre early check out. Environs moyen, mais c'est un peu le cas de tous les quartiers de Jakarta?

Seems to be a good location, but sometimes it was difficult to get taxis mainly due to the traffic regulations at the nearby traffic junction. No U turn allowed in the nearby traffic junction which make the motorists to drive an extra 2 km ahead to make the U turn to reach the hotel.

this hotel has nothing good bad way of treating the customers i cant really write everything

Club rooms which was supposed to be premium are too small in size. There is a small chair in the side of the bed but no-ware comparable to any 4 star hotel. Breakfast is so-so. No omelette at egg station as it was not manned?

not exactly the new kid on the block. this 10 yr old hotel can see the age. In addition the occupancy is very low. on my first two days, there was only 1 floor filled. it is a large hotel and relatively away from traffic. so it's peaceful

Classic Hotel が徒歩圏内。 車線的に行きは徒歩、帰りはタクシーを使うと便利。 部屋自体綺麗だし、申し分なし。

GYMが無料で使えます。運動靴を求められますが、タオルも無料で貸してくれます。恐らく、GYMを運営している会社がホテルに入っているものと思われます。

Good place to stay in. Nice place to held conferences. The staff are so kind thru the assistance they provide.

Is very near to the airport. Clean just simple Hotel

The hotel stay was pretty good and the condition was ok if your expectation wasn't that high. hopefully the buffet breakfast could been better
