I always loved the The Haystack and it was great going back for the second time. The stuff gave me a exceptional service and a warm welcome as always.

Everything about the property and staff was perfect but you should have told us about the never ending noise across the street from the building site. It took away any thought of a restful stay

The location was very hard to find but the staff helped us find it so big up

The room was very comfortable and well equipped.

Only 2 coffee pods tor 3 days. The R1000 cash deposit and fee to use the braai was new to me and slightly inconvenient and should be included at the price as I really battled to find an ATM before check in. Construction site opposite the road very noisy during the day.

The host was exceptional, and she made sure we were okay all the time. I loved her very much, thank you Zanele. You made us feel at home, definitely coming soon....

Everything was just as advertised!

The shower worked incorrectly. Opening the tap closed the tap while closing the tap opened it, it was frustrating.

The location was not ideal for me The windows are left open when the unit is cleaned- it meant I was eaten by mosquitoes when I got in late. The walls are quite thin so I could hear the people in the next unit

I liked everything about it

With the exception that there were construction activities taking place across the road which made a lot of noise upon my arrival as well as on a Saturday and the fire detection alarm that went off screaming as I was making toast, the stay is very nice and comfortable. I walked comfortably and confidently, during the day time to a very nice shopping complex, where a lot of good restaurants are found. Nice comfortable bed.

That there were construction activities taking place right across the road, however this is a temporary issue, the hosts could have inform the possible guests ahead of time.

Bell to the property was not working and nobody answering the phone so we struggled to get onto the property initially

Liked the garden and the spacious comfortable rooms its a pity breakfast is not served but that is no biggy. I really enjoyed my stay. Very private, relaxing and peaceful too. The communication line was always opened and I like that. Really felt at home and made to feel important. (^^,)

It was quiet, neat & clean.

Very clean, great host, the best housekeepers, garden and pool for relaxing. Walking distance to shopping centre. The accommodation is super clean with rich and contemporary furnishings. I'm a return customer...Welcomed as if I was family on every visit.

Tranquility

Everything was great. I needed peace and tranquility and that’s what I got. The check in and check out was good. Great service from Njabulo and the whole staff.

The place has a very efficient communication strategy, which makes the host always available to the tennant without being always visible. A lot of very helpful information was provided via email and whatsapp as soon as my booking was confirmed.

Their receipt is a list of all their accommodation options. All they do is just highlight which option you. I found this method too cluttered compared to the conventional receipt that just reflect what you utilized

Tranquility, nice garden, friendly staff, comfortable and cosy

The TV wasn’t a smart TV, so no Netflix, Disney+, etc. and the Dstv channels are minimal.

The place felt like home far away from home. I enjoyed working in the kitchen as it was well equipped. If you love nature, spend your time in the garden, it's so peaceful and well taken care of. It's so quiet you'll even think you're the only person there. The staff was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome, they are always there when you need them. They respect your privacy, no one will be knocking on your door in the morning, unless you call them. I also liked that they had backup when there was load shedding, you wouldn't even notice that the electricity is gone. I'll definitely visit the place again.

Spotlessly clean, very well stocked kitchen for utensils, crockery etc. The staff were very helpful

The location is handy but there is alot of building going on in the immediate area which makes it a little unsettling driving in at night, although nothing happened and the automatic gate works very well

The hosts are warm, accomodation and each unit is fully equipped with thoughtful touches. Value for money

I loved the fact that it had a patio overlooking the garden, for me that is homely especially when it is a long stay. A lot of trees outside the unit which is beautiful but makes the place a little bit cold. I had the heater on most evenings. A wonderful stay

The only really bad experience is the huge construction site on the opposite side of the road. Being in a residential area, the road is not as if it is a dbl lane, it is quite narrow. Noice and construction trucks are therefore very close. The jackhammer made the entire earth shake – and that on the public holiday. That was bad but no the fault of the establishment.

Needs better security as I didn't get a feeling of been very safe. No guard at entrance.

Exceptionally efficient service, we were kept up to date on all issues affecting our stay such as load-shedding disruption in services etc. This made or stay very comfortable. The place is clean and well equipped. It has a perfect garden and swimming pool; is in a very convenient location, and we were assisted above the usual.

The sccommodation was very conveniently located for my business trip. Abiola is a great host and made the stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible, I was highly impressed with the welcoming food and snacks - arriving late at night, the breakfast snacks provided were an extra special feature. Thank you for a great stay!

The guest house is amazing, the environment is well looked after. the room has cooking facilities. The owners are very helpful and flexible. Always available on watsapp to provide help.
