El único punto a favor fue la ubicación.

La puntuación de este hotel no refleja en absoluto la realidad. Nos encontramos con una falta de higiene inadmisible: había pelos por todas partes, incluso acumulados en el sumidero de la ducha. Las almohadas estaban amarillas!! La suciedad general era tal que, después de hacer el check-in y ver la habitación, decidimos marcharnos. Para colmo, al llegar nos encontramos con un cartel en la entrada que decía que no aceptan cancelaciones tras el check-in (algo insólito y jamás visto en ningún otro hotel). Una experiencia francamente pésima. No lo recomiendo bajo ningún concepto.

The hotel staff agreed to my super late check in at midnight because of my flight. The lady at the reception in the morning was quite helpful. The location was great, nearby food stalls for breakfast in the morning. Not far from the airport and walkable to the waterfront area. There's a nearby convenience store downstairs too if needed.

The towels smelled like cigarettes, which I think was the worst aspect of the whole experience. The pillows, bed linen and the towels were also not white... it's stained with something.. and smelled quite bad too. Thankfully we were only staying for an overnight transit otherwise, I would have left for another place. I don't understand why the cleanliness rating for this place is high, maybe housekeeping just happened to be lacking on that day? I don't know.

excellent location, friendly staff, very reasonable price. check in was straight forward and we were able to check into our room an hour early. laundry was inexpensive and the property is close by to some excellent local food.

no safe in rooms, the first room we were in the air con was poor. this was due to gaps in the windows where seals had not been placed, later this was an issue when it rained and water started flooding into the room through the window, we were told that maintenance would come an fix the problem and that someone would return to let us know when this would be, eventually we had to go down to the desk and request to move rooms and were told maintenance would not fix the issue for at least a day. we also had an issue returning to our room where the key card would not work.

The location was very good. A short walk to the waterfront through an interesting part of the town. Cat statues everywhere, even cat lights in the street and on poles around town. Padungan Street was a hive of food activity after dark with small street food restaurants serving great food ....... laksa and kolom mee etc. Indian and Filipino restaurants also had wonderful offerings. There is an Everise supermarket very close by with a good foreign food section.

The beds were very hard. But you get what you pay for. The rate is really inexpensive. The shower was a hand shower which kept falling out of its holder......no top shower.... the top bracket for the shower holder was too high for me to reach so one has to crouch under the lower shower head. very awkward for me at 76.

La pulizia. La nostra camera era sporca. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiarla, me ne hanno fatte vedere altre due ugualmente sporche.

Clean room and bed

Location wise, is good. With lots of food and drinks available. But no night life activities such as pubs /Night Clubs. Not much attraction in this area unless we walk or get transport. Staffs attitude not that friendly. Only talk when we request for anything.

Il n'y a rien pour suspendre les affaires dans la chambre, et besoin d'une tablette dans la sdb.

Room was comfortable enough, tripple room, staff nice and friendly, excellent location, shops, restaurants and supermarket all within 1min walk. Water front only 5min walk. We had a nice stay.

La chambre était confortable, avec clim et eau bien chaude. Proche de tout, restos, rivière. Le personnel est très aimable. Il y a une bagagerie.

Le ménage était un peu limite, beaucoup de poussière sous les lits et dans les recoins

Super bien situado, cerca del waterfront, por lo que se puede ir a pie. Diversas opciones para comer por la zona.

La limpieza era aceptable, pero se podría mejorar (la pared del cabecero de la cama estaba manchado y con polvo, por ejemplo)

Viele Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Wäscherei nebenan mit Lieferung ins Hotel. Kühlschrank bei der Rezeption für alle verfügbar. Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und es gab neue Handtücher.

We really enjoyed our stay in Padungan Hotel in Kuching. The twin bed room was spacious and comfortable, clean and quiet with daily housekeeping by the friendly helpful staff a bonus. Located in a lovely part of town with great shops for dining. Close enough to comfortably walk into town past the cat statues and along the river walkway. We decided to stay extra nights and considered somewhere cheaper but this room was large with an ensuite and a view which we found was difficult to find in the budget range. We highly recommend this hotel.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits en couple au Padungan Hotel et ce fut une bonne expérience ! Chambre avec tout le confort nécessaire, très bonne literie et salle de bain agréable et fonctionnelle. Le personnel est sympathique et le ménage est fait tous les jours sauf si mention contraire. L’emplacement est top ! Très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons sans hésitation ! 😌

the strategic place to stay

Basic, but clean, recently renovated, clean floors (no carpet!), hot water even early morning or late evening. Friendly staff.

Guests would need their own transportation or use services like Grab to find suitable restaurants. The nearest mamak restaurant is approximately a 15-minute walk from the property.

Convenient place to walk around the centre of Kuching with many restaurants nearby, walking distance to St Peter Church and only a round 1KM to waterfront. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

No mini fridge in the room and no hot drinks stick packs provided.

location is good, right at the center of the new chinatown, the best is they don't use carpet in the room, it's just a wooden floor, which is excellent because it's easy to clean and hence the floor is very clean, we can sit on the floor, which is great. (note: carpet is usually very dirty, thus we prefer without carpet, and this hotel has no carpet, which makes it excellent, a wooden floor is clean and not cold also, not like tiles)

La ubicación en una calle donde había bares y restaurantes, tiendas y la parada de autobus que me llevó gratis a Semenggoh y al aeropuerto y sólo a 7 min de pie de la estatua de gatos y a 10 de Waterfront. Y cada día día me limpiaban la habitación y daban nuevas toallas y gel. Te dejan 2 botellas de agua al día

No había una nevera o un dispensador con cold water.
