We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Alkionides. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes’ walk from the port, with well-equipped Kritikos market also close by. This made it very convenient to explore the island and purchase anything we needed. The owner was friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom, and it was cleaned every day. Fresh towels were provided daily, which was a lovely touch. The room also included coffee, tea, water, and a few small breakfast items such as jam and butter. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return.

Great location, stylish room, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. What stood out most was the staff—always polite, friendly, and eager to help.

A few areas need improvement: there was a strong sewage odor on the first night, and sound insulation from the main and bathroom doors was poor. Additionally, the bathroom door lacks a handle (making it noisy to operate), the shower has no shelf for toiletries, and the windows lack mosquito screens.

Great location, a 5 minute walk from the harbor (really important as the streets are narrow, paved with stones and there are lots of stairs). As it's not really in the first line, the place is quiet and cozy and very clean - cleaning was done on a daily basis. The host was very kind, accepting an earlier check-in and keeping our luggage for a few more hours after the check-out until our ferryboat departed. Great value for money so as a conclusion: Highly recommend the place!

Στα σεντόνια την δεύτερη μέρα βρήκαμε μικρά μικρά μαμούνια τα οποία τσιμπούσαν κιόλας

Everything was perfect! The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with a great location. The balcony was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!

The bathroom was very clean, although the shower was a little small, with some water spilling outside, and it had a slight unpleasant smell.

Excellent, quiet location very close to all the local shops, tavernas etc. Fridge in the room with water, butter , jam, honey and fruit juice cartons to help with breakfast. All replenished daily and clean towels every day.

The room was spotless upon arrival and every day thanks to daily housekeeping. The courtyard provided a nice spot to eat breakfast. We purchased coffee and bread from a great bakery nearby also fruit from a supermarket 4 min walk. The shower head is new. The location is great!

The bathroom is tiny and the small shower has a curtain that constantly sticks to you. It is also too short, so the water floods the bathroom no matter how careful you are. The room is also quite small.

The hotel was in a perfect location — close to the port but a few streets back from the hustle and bustle!

We keep coming back here every single time we are in Hydra. The location is immaculate and close to anything and everything. Bathroom and bedroom modern and fresh. The olive oil shampoo - my hair has never looked better. Will come back again!

The room is a little bit dark, and you can hear through the door when other guests come in late.

La chambre est un peu sombre (en bas de l'escalier de la réception), la salle de bain est petite et la porte ne s'ouvre pas entièrement, le rideau de douche court qui inonde facilement. La peinture du sol s'effrite.

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, στο κεντρο του νησιού. Πολυ Καθαρό και οι οικοδεσπότες ευγενικοί. Μας είχαν και ατομικές φρυγανιές, βούτυρο, μαρμελάδα, νερο και χυμους στο ψυγείο. Όλα άψογα, θα το προτιμούσαμε παλι!

The property was in an excellent location just a short walk to the main port in Hydra with several restaurants and shops nearby. The room itself was clean and comfortable with an owner/staff that were responsive to our needs.

We noticed a mild but unpleasant odor in the room our first day that was possibly coming from the floor drain in the bathroom. I would suggest additional cleaning and maintenance of this drain as a possible solution. The odor was not an issue on the subsequent 2 days of our stay.

Stella hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns das Studio gezeigt. Die Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet mit Klimaanlage, sehr bequemen Betten und einem tollen Bad mit einer grandiosen Dusche. Jeden Tag wurden unsere Betten gemacht, es lagen frische Handtücher bereit und wir hatten Frühstück und Getränke frisch im Kühlschrank- das war grossartig. Auf der Terasse vor unserer Tür konnten wir wunderbar entspannen. Direkt um die Ecke ist das Stadtzentrum, ein Kino und Lebensmittelgeschäft. Vom HAfen aus ist man in nur etwa 5 Minuten da- fantastisch.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean. Location was good. They clean the room daily. Location is good. Overall, it was evident there was attention to detail!

The bathroom was a bit small but it was practical at least. Decoration could be slightly improved.

Εξαίρετη οικοδέσποινα, μας κατατόπισε πλήρως ανταποκρινόμενη στις πληροφορίες που τις ζητήσαμε. Πολύ κοντά στο λιμάνι, επίσης σημαντικό δεν χρειαστηκε να ανηφορίζουμε φορτωμένες. Θα επανέλθουμε σε μελλοντικό χρόνο. Την συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Sbarcati a Hydra ci siamo diretti subito verso lo studios che si trova in posizione strategica vicino a tutto market bar e ristoranti ma rimane in un vicolo molto tranquillo. Immerso in un bel giardino dove potete rilassarvi circondati dal silenzio..... e dal canto delle cicale. La camera carina pulita dotata di tutto l occorrente per il bagno e per fare una piccola colazione prima di uscire. La proprietaria molto gentile ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli dopo il ceck out. Noi non abbiamo mai utilizzato il taxi boat ci siamo spostati sempre a piedi., certo col sole cocente di luglio è impegnativo però bellissimo. Ah... Non ci piacciono le spiagge attrezzate preferiamo scogli se cercate bene ci sono diverse calette dove potrete stare anche soli.

Beautifully decorated room in a central location, just a five-minute walk from the port. Situated in a very quiet neighborhood, it offers a peaceful and comfortable stay. Wonderful host.

The soundproofing could be improved, as noise from neighboring rooms can sometimes be heard. Additionally, there were occasional unpleasant odors coming from the bathroom.

Το δωμάτιο είναι όμορφα διακοσμημένο, πεντακάθαρο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με προϊόντα περιποίησης και ψυγείου. Επίσης υπάρχει καθημερινή καθαριότητα. Αν και βρίσκεται σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο και πολύ κοντά στο λιμάνι, είναι ταυτόχρονα πολύ ήσυχο. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Ίσως να ήθελα ένα ιδιωτικό μπαλκόνι.

H κ. Στέλλα, η οικοδέσποινα, ήταν ευγενέστατη και πρόθυμη να εξυπηρετήσει! Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό και είχε καθημερινή καθαριότητα. Στο δωμάτιο υπήρχαν κεράσματα, τα οποία ανανεώνονταν καθημερινά. Η τοποθεσία ηταν άριστη, ήσυχη αλλα και κοντα στο λιμάνι της Ύδρας!

Το μπάνιο ήταν πάρα πολύ μικρο και η κουρτίνα ήταν ακατάλληλη μιας και όλα τα νερά έβγαιναν εξω.Επίσης είχε ένα πολύ μικρο παραθυράκι και δεν αεριζοταν καλά.

Όλα ήταν τέλεια. Ήμασταν τυχεροί που το επιλέξαμε. Δίπλα σε όλα . Οι ιδιοκτήτες υπέροχοι και η καθαριότητα εξαιρετική.

We had a wonderful stay at Alkionides Pension. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the location was excellent—just a short walk from the port, yet surprisingly quiet with no noise or crowds. The towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily recommend it.

Il bagno stretto e vecchio, il piano doccia piccola, ancora con la tenda che dato era nello spazio stretto continuava a incollarsi al corpo

-Great location -Big modern room -Very professional staff -They offered two bottles of water and some food free of charge -They let me check-in before the time -I had to leave one day earlier and they kindly reimbursed me for that day I recommend it to everyone!

Σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία δύο λεπτά από το λιμάνι η σπιτονοικοκυρά ευγενική και πρόθυμη να σε βοηθήσει σε ότι χρειάζεται με το χαμόγελο στο στόμα το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

De prachtige binnenplaats bij binnenkomst, en vooral de rust. En toch pal in het centrum van het stadje. Geen ontbijt vanuit het hotel, maar er is meer dan genoeg in de directe omgeving. Vriendelijk, attent personeel, zonder opdringerig te zijn.

De lokale op afstand bedienbare airco op de kamer heeft een beetje een gebruiksaanwijzing om goed te kunnen opereren, maar het personeel lostte dit goed op met een duidelijke uitleg.

The hotel is well located, just a short walk from the port. The hotel is run by a very friendly, accommodating woman who lives on-site and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large balcony to enjoy the warm nights.

Todo magnífico! Una ubicación perfecta a 1 minuto del puerto. La habitación muy limpia y con todo lo necesario, también dejó agua, zumo, café, galletas etc. Su dueña muy amable y agradable! Lo recomiendo! Gracias.

Mrs Kosmiti was super helpful with anything we asked for from the very first moment. We were impressed by the cleanliness and care given to the facilities not just the first day we stepped in but every day, as the room was cleaned on a daily basis. The location is super convenient too. This is exceptional value for money and we are very grateful to Mrs Kosmiti and the team for hosting us so kindly. When we will be back to Hydra we will definetely choose Alkyonides again, no doubt. Thank you.

Honestly, everything was great!

- logement au calme proche du port et des commerces ( boulangeries, restaurants..) , sans en avoir les nuisances - patio intérieur calme et agréable , bien aménagé - réfrigérateur garni chaque jour en eau, jus d'oranges, confiture, beurre ( + café, et thé) - propreté

Es un lugar muy bonito y limpio para disfrutar de Hidra. Está todo muy limpio y en una zona muy cerca del puerto y a la vez muy tranquilo. Me atendieron muy bien y la habitación era perfecta.
