Location was excellent for walking to shops and restaurants in downtown Leavenworth. Breakfast was good and had lots of variety for hot/cold breakfast items. They have a DVD library to borrow movies.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

We loved the rustic natural wood features, clean and welcoming rooms, and courteous staff. The lobby is also very charming. Will come again for sure!

The bed was a bit slanted so it felt you were rolling out.

Location is the best. Nice having a bar in the Hotel. Love the big rooms and warm decorations in the hotel. Staff are first rate and care for the guests.

Got upgraded to a room overlooking the parking lot on second floor. Got charged again even I used booking.com.

Proximity to town is excellent. Pool & hot tub temperatures were very good. Onsite amenities were prety good for entertainment but lacked option for basic needs (like a little store).

Better options for snacks, drinks, "mini-mart" options within the hotel for when the bar is closed could be improved.

I stay at the Bavarian Lodge every year for a nearby family reunion. The staff is. Very friendly and accommodating . Location is perfect for access to downtown shops and restaurants. Floral displays (landscaping) are magnificent.

Great place with incredible staff. The accommodations are very nice, super comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and again, the best part of our visit was the interactions with the staff working there.

It’s the best place to stay in Leavenworth arguably. I’ve been to most of the hotels in Leavenworth and you’re getting the best bang for your buck here. Friendly staff. Breakfast. Bar Downstairs. Bavarian style lodging. Stags on the wall, what else could you really want.

Top notch place to stay from the fresh cookie at check in to the great breakfast each morning. Great location to walk around town shopping or easy access to several trails for hiking. Would highly recommend.

The lodge is in the heart of the city and within walking distance of everything you want.

I have stayed here many times. This past experience was the best by far because of Brice at the front desk. He was patient with me and fulfilled every request I made, especially when it came to extra coffee. Thank-you, Brice, for everything. I hope to see you in the future.

Limited food options on sight. The bed was the hardest thing I’ve ever slept on. It was like a concrete pad with a piece of plywood on top.

We were very pleased with our stay being our first time coming to Leavenworth, Washington and celebrating are 29th wedding anniversary as well. Foremost we plan to return on another occasion. It was such a wonderful time and so beautiful.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth, WA. I highly recommend it for its convenience to the village, price, comfort, and awesome complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly. When we checked in, the front desk person gave us maps for places to eat and activities. They gave you chocolate chip cookies. In the lobby there was coffee, tea, and ice water 24/7. They also had souvenirs for sale like hoodies, t-shirts, toys for the kids, etc. Room: decorated in rustic lodge decor. It had all the amenities, including robes. Plus: in-room coffee was Starbucks. Bathroom: walk-in shower with a European style shower head. (more water flow, so you feel like the soap is getting rinsed off!). There were plenty of hooks in the bathroom to hang multiple towels. Another added bonus was a separate, plug-in magnifying mirror to put on your makeup. Plenty of drawers to store your belongings. A bench to put on your shoes and hang your coat. Location: right across the street from the Bavarian Village where all the shops are and restaurants are. Ample, free parking. They have a small, covered garage which was full, but the back parking lot was very accessible. FREE breakfast! One of the best complimentary breakfasts I've ever had. The eating area felt more like a restaurant. Real silverware. Each day there were different offerings, like omelets, sausages, diced potatoes, and burritos. Daily offerings were biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fruit, cereal, waffles (pre-made, large, and you pop them in the toaster). I also highly recommend booking the Bavarian E-bike tour as one of your activities.

We always love staying!! When in Leavenworth the Bavarian Lodge is the only place we book. We do wish the pool was open til midnight for adults. 9:30pm is a little early when you're on Vacation. Kids yes should be out but adult hours would be nice.

This is our favorite hotel in Leavenworth! We come every year with our granddaughters to celebrate their birthdays. It is clean, our room was spacious even for four people. There is a refrigerator and microwave. The sink is separate from the toilet and tub/shower. Our granddaughters really enjoyed the pool and free movie “rentals.” The breakfast is more than adequate! The front desk personnel are helpful and accommodating. Everything in town is within walking distance.

Bavarian Inn was a great find; it had something for everyone in the family: pool, game room for the kids, and pub for the adults. The free breakfast was awesome! Conveniently located to shops and restaurants.

This is a family oriented hotel, expect lots of kids….We stayed over a weekend, so high demand and even higher prices. Was the stay worth the $400+ ( per night with taxes)? I think if you look you may find better value. There are certain expectations when you pay these prices and while most of mine were met…. There was a huge hiccup (in my opinion). Room cute, comfortable bed, good a/c, refrig and micro in room, shampoo amenities are nice and soaps are provided.We had a balcony very small compared to others (we did not have flowers) chairs (ploywood) take up most of the balcony and one chair sits in front of the vent putting warm air out ( if you’re air is on and your outside you don’t want hot air blowing on you). Coffee to go cups are the dixie cups of to go cups (small), breakfast I felt was similar to Hampton Inn but not as good. Finally housekeeping, the hiccup, we left our room and spoke with the HK person cleaning next door, we said we’re heading out… when we returned two hours later our room had not been serviced, we called the front desk and they said you have to put a card ( the other side of the do not disturb) on your door. This was not explained to us at check-in time. We put the card out and front desk said they would let HK know ( carts were still present in the hallway and this was early afternoon 1:00 so plenty of time). Needless to say when we returned no service. Why do we care? We like to enjoy our room, we like the fact that our bed is made and towels picked up…. In my home these things are done that is one of the joys of paying to stay in a hotel. Most people will have a flawless stay, if we came back I’m sure we would have a flawless stay but this trip was not. I doubt this review will matter to anyone but at least I can get this grievance off my chest. Wishing you a flawless stay.

Location, service and comfort!! My sister and I took a girls trip to Leavenworth and stayed at the Bavarian Lodge. It was an excellent experience. The staff were super friendly and attentive, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and served piping hot, and the location simply cannot be beat. Top notch experience. I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Leavenworth.

The Bavarian Lodge was top notch from check in to check out. We were really impressed by the size of the room and it was recently renovated with nice touches. Loved the balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains and town. The location was perfect, right across the street from the town and totally walkable to all the attractions. The kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub and the included breakfast was really quite good.

We had a fabulous stay at this lodge! Our room was upgraded unexpectedly, the staff was courteous and prompt, and the included breakfast so yummy! It was a good location for a disabled older family member and our young kids loved the pool-perfect for the whole family!

The hotel has been recently updated and super comfy. Bathrooms are exquisite beds are comfortable, nice bathrobes. Balcony view of the town. Breakfast was more or less standard hotel fair. Bar was fine newly opened so it didn’t have a lot of alcohol stocked. But everyone was super friendly and nice great outdoor seating to sit and have drinks at night and play cards.

Our couples trip to Bavarian lodge did not disappoint. We stayed in a Superior Balcony Village King. The room was spacious, clean, and filled with beautiful, warm touches in the decor. The entire hotel felt inviting, on-theme in the best ways. We did not use the pool, bar, or breakfast, as we were often out and about, taking advantage of all the town has to offer. The best perk of Bavarian lodge was the extremely close distance to town - literally across the street! No fighting traffic, circling for parking spots, or long walks backs to hotels further out. One fun perk we did take advantage of, was the hotel's movie library where you could rent them and watch on the DVD player in your room. Could we have streamed? Sure. But where would the fun be in that? It felt like a nostalgic throwback to renting movies as a child and it only added to the charm that Bavarian Lodge offers! There was some slight noise at night when a loud car or motorcycle zoomed by, but it was mostly very quiet. We saw neighbors in the halls, but never heard any from our room. We would stay here again - and plan to - thanks to Curtis at the front desk who answered all our questions. We began asking about other times of year to return as a family, and we learned that reservations for the Christmas season (which we thought were already sold out) are only available if you call the hotel. So we thought, why wait to get home and call? Why not book for the holidays right here at the front desk? So we did! (Thanks Curtis!) We look forward to returning in the winter to see all the lights and festivities!

It was quiet

1 the cooler system worked when it felt like it, 2 went for wheelchair accessible but no automatic doors and they were heavy, no shower wand for disabled person, no chair for in the shower, 3 the beds were a little too hard, 4 we put the sign on the door for service but when we got back they hadn't done any service and when we called we were told we put the sign out too late which felt like they were pointing their finger at us as a problem 5 the lighting was pretty low and dim

Very cute hotel, theme very much in line with the old German vibe of the town. The hotel is directly across the street from the main downtown area and made most attractions walkable.

Breakfasts had many options and something for our entire group. Location was walkable everywhere in town. and drivable within 10 minutes of our destinations. Staff was great!

The room exceeded our expectations. Comfortable beds & decor was of course Bavarian. So many painted murals & nice dining room to eat your breakfast in. Flowers everywhere outside & beautifully taken care of! This place I would stay at again.

Our organization held a two day business meeting at the Bavarian Lodge. Everything was wonderful. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and clean. The meeting room was a great space with lots of light and windows. Payton and the team provided support with planning and day of wonderfully. We had their catered lunch during our meeting and we were able to eat outside on the patio in the sun! The food was delicious too. We plan to hold our meetings next year here again.

Great location-a “stones throw” to the entire downtown. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, great breakfast options that varied a little bit each day, the front desk was helpful with restaurant and activity options. Would stay again!

Our favorite place to stay when we visit Leavenworth! I feel like I’m in the Alps! It’s such a beautiful place. The hotel has such an inviting atmosphere- especially the lobby with fireplace. Our group played games there and was so much fun!

Everything was clean and well maintained. Loved being able to just walk across to all the shops and restaurants.

Our team recently hosted a senior leadership offsite at The Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. A huge shoutout to Payton, who was incredible to work with throughout the entire planning process. The onsite staff was also amazing, they were truly gracious hosts and it genuinely showed in every interaction we had with them. Our group size was 15, which was the perfect fit for their meeting room with a U-shape style setup. Beyond providing a great meeting space, the team went above and beyond by offering unique and creative catering options for our group. They were also incredibly helpful in sharing information on fun, local activities for team building, which made our time in Leavenworth even more special. We brought welcome bags for each attendee, and the front desk staff was nice enough to hand them out upon arrival with no issues or additional charge. We hosted this event in mid-May, which was a great time to visit. The weather was perfect, not too hot or too cold. The location is also incredibly convenient. There is so much to do within walking distance of the hotel, and both of our group dinners were an easy walk across the street to the downtown Leavenworth area. We are so grateful to Payton and the entire team at The Bavarian Lodge for making our offsite such a success. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a corporate retreat or team meeting!

We had a comfy 4-poster rustic log bed, a fireplace for the cooler evening temps, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower (which the husband insists on). The included breakfast was great and there was always free water, tea, hot cocoa, and coffee available in the lobby. Located just across the street from Front Street Park, we didn't have to worry about paying for parking either (it can get spendy). We would not hesitate to book here again.

We enjoyed our time spent in this place. This Hotel is just walking distance from the convention center where we had our Washington District Ladies Conference that was held on May 14 to 16 2026, and the view from the window is awesome, this is just in front of the center if the town or plaza. I would stay here again if i could get the opportunity to be in this town again in the future.i really recommend this place, The Bavarian Lodge or Hotel.

Curtis at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The whole place is beautiful! We absolutely loved our room! And couldn't have asked for a better location. A good breakfast was a bonus!

This is a beautiful and well maintained hotel. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Curtis helped me twice and was great! The room really blew us away with how beautiful it was. We only stayed one night and I wish we had stayed longer. Breakfast was so delicious. Lots to chose from. Hopefully some day we can go back!

We stayed in the deluxe King room with a balcony that overlooked downtown. I was worried it would be noisy at night, but it was very quiet. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The location was great as we could just walk across the street and be in the main part of the town to shop and eat at restaurants.

We love this hotel. We have stayed many times and would not consider staying anywhere else! The staff is wonderful and the breakfast buffet is always good. This is also the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in.

What a wonderful time we had during our first visit to Leavenworth. My husband researched several options before we left Oregon, looking for a very special place to stay, and we certainly found it at your property. The entire experience was exceptional, starting with our check-in. Aby at the front desk was charming, friendly, and helpful; it is obvious that she truly loves her job. From the inviting, beautiful lobby to the dining area and full bar, we were impressed at every turn. Our room was very nice with an extremely comfy bed, and the access to Netflix was a great touch for our late-night movies. The highlight, however, was the amazing view of the Village. Sitting on our balcony at night, sipping a glass of bourbon while watching the twinkling lights below, was pure heaven. Suggest dining at Colchucks for lunch or dinner. My husband had their Kobe beef cheeseburger, he is a very discriminating critic when it comes to his burgers - he said it was the best burger he has had in 20 years. We also want to thank the Property Manager, who was incredibly pleasant and helpful during our stay. We give this experience a 10-star rating and simply cannot wait to return.

The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations with a great variety of fresh options, and the outdoor hot tubs and heated pool were perfect after a day of exploring or hiking. Steven at the front desk was so friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. Morgan in the lounge/bar was very friendly and outgoing. She was so helpful on choosing drinks and chatted with us about the town and things to check out.

It was my second time staying at the Bavarian Lodge and it did not disappoint. From the hospitality, amenities (including outdoor heated pool and hot tub), breakfast and the room itself , I and my friend (was their first time ) thoroughly ejotes ourselves.

This was our first time to Leavenworth and could not be any happier with our choice in this hotel. The location is perfect, right across the street from Front Street Park and all the restaurants, bars, and shops downtown, and just a few minute walk to the river. The Bavarian theme is so cozy and inviting. The front desk staff were beyond helpful as soon as we got there, giving us maps and recommendations for food/hikes/etc. of the area which was great because the amount of options can be a little overwhelming! The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs were one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel and we were not disappointed...beautiful views, clean and never felt crowded. The room was beautiful, amazing views from our balcony, cozy fireplace and very nice bathroom/shower. I cannot recommend this place enough and can't wait to come back!

As the Queen of Oktoberfest and a professional connoisseur of schnitzel, steins, and Gemütlichkeit… I officially approve of the Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth! 🍻👑 Fantastic hospitality, cozy Bavarian charm, and the perfect place to recover after dancing in lederhosen until midnight. The staff made me feel like Oktoberfest royalty, and the atmosphere captures the magic of Leavenworth beautifully. If you want the full Bavarian experience with comfort, laughter, and a cold beer nearby… this queen says JA! Prost!
