It was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were especially kind and had lovely smiles. Breakfast was delicious too.

Nice, clean and well-located hotel. All the staff was very kind and helpful during our stay. Its excellent location allowed us to find several restaurants open despite the low season.

Amazing views from the room and loved the beanbag area. Nice pool which was a good alternative to swimming in the rough seas (early monsoon season). Excellent food from the restaurant. Parking was easy in an empty lot across the road. Location was walking distance to see the sea turtles.

Worst experience in Sri Lanka.. Made a big mistake in booking in such hotel.. Size of the room is so small..

Everything is so old.. fridge is rusted from inside.. Not recommend to anyone.. Lady on the reception is cheating by taking higher exchange rate then the rates provided by ATM..

Lage direkt am Strand ist ein Plus, wobei man jedoch aufgrund der starken Gezeiten nicht immer ins Wasser kann. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, welches geräumig war. Zimmer zur Straße sind kleiner. Personal war sehr freundlich. Zentral gelegen zum Hauptstrand.

Coral Rock is conveniently located, right near Turtle Point. Views from the terrace are great.

The room (and especially the bathroom) smelled like cigarettes - which is rather disgusting. We asked for a different room, but reception said there were none available (even though it's been raining cancellations in Sri Lanka due to the situation in the Middle East, and the hotel was anything but fully booked). All our clothes still smelled like cigarettes the rest of our trip. The headboard of the bed was disgusting. Also, the water in the pool looked it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Honestly, I would avoid this town altogether, because it feels like a Russian enclave.

Had to ask for shampoo,conditioner and coffee supplies to be replaced as this was not done when the room was cleaned.

The property’s location is excellent — unfortunately, that’s the only positive aspect.

While the property’s location is excellent, that’s unfortunately the only real positive. The rooms are very outdated and not properly cleaned, and the bathroom plumbing is poor — water stays in the sink for a long time instead of draining. The bed was dirty, and the pool had a strong unpleasant smell and was also unclean. The walls have fungs molds Basic amenities were lacking as well — no complimentary water bottles were provided, so I had to buy them from the market. Several electrical fittings were loose, which felt unsafe, and there was no proper blanket or comforter provided — only one very thin sheet to cover. Considering the overall condition of the property, the prices are quite high and do not offer good value for money. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

This hotel is without a doubt the best hotel on Hikkaduwa beach. The view is outstanding, the pool is lovely and clean. The bed is super comfy, the room is a bit dated but had everything we needed. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

We had an ocean view room, which opened onto a deck above the pool and overlooked the ocean. Great position. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Good meals for dinner.

The Indian ocean view, of the coral and sunsets from a room balcony, is fabulous. Housekeeping very good. Comfy beds. Pool.

Heavy bathroom door insists on closing with not enough room when you're in there. The hair dryer is on the wall in front right of the sink. Your albow keeps hitting it while you're using the sink. Hotel reception was with limited language skills and couldn't explain well when she rang me to cancel my booking.com before I checked in the same day. I would have been without a room at the very last minute. I then went to the hotel and ultimately communicated with others at the hotel, and another room was found.

While the city view rooms didn't quite hit the mark, staying for the sea view was a game-changer. The hotel has a charming, antique "old city" vibe, but the real highlight is the private beach access. The view alone makes it worth every penny!

Hikkaduwa er en hyggelig liten by ved sjøen. Coral Rock har super beliggenhet helt i strandkanten. Vennlig og hjelpsom personale, rent og pent, fint basseng og med gode senger.

Her, som på mange steder, er det lite knagger å henge fra seg klær og annet på.

Das Hotel liegt wirklich, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, direkt am Meer. Tolle Sonnenuntergänge und Wellenrauschen jeden Tag inklusive.

Empieza a verse un poco viejo, No es que esté en la estado, pero si le falta algo de mantenimiento. El precio un poco caro para lo que te dan, pero seguro fue por las fechas (año nuevo), sin embargo la piscina justifica en parte el quedarse allí.

Staff were very friendly. Pool area is nice, and steps down into the sea. Sea view from room was amazing. Breakfast buffet was very good.

The rooms felt a bit dated, fridge was rusty looking and just not modern. We visited at Christmas so was probably priced to time of year, but I don't think it was worth the cost compared to other places we stayed, but in saying that, it was still very comfortable to stay.

The breakfast was delicious with many different options to choose from. The overall menu is also great. The location is perfect very close to attractions and amenities. Great value for the price. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing seems too much to ask. I definitely enjoyed my stay here.

Luxury Room with fanstastic Sea View. Room was clean. Facilities were there as expected. Superb Staff Service. Nice Menu with variety of selections. More important that it was quite and calm Place to relax your busy mind.

Only the thing was that mini fridge was there. But no any items were there.

The sea view from the room was breathtaking, and the food was absolutely delicious.

On multiple occasions, the hotel staff tried to open our door without waiting for our consent or for us to unlock it, which was both uncomfortable and inappropriate.

Отличное расположение , прям на пляже ! Убирали каждый день , выдают пляжные полотенца .в комнате не видела муравьев , достаточно комфортно . Лучше не экономить и взять вид на море , невероятные закаты и тишина , и.к в номере на дорогу может быть шумно .

Номера с видом на море - это просто прекрасно! Океан прямо под окном. Прекрасный доброжелательный персонал, все просьбы выполнялись практически моментально. Вполне приличный завтрак. Во время пребывания в отеле был мой день рождения - спасибо отелю за тортик и красиво украшенную комнату. Было очень приятно :)

Расположение отеля просто супер!!! Вид на море который находится от отеля всего на 10 метров. Персонал очень классный, заботливый и улыбчивые.... Следующий раз с семьей планирую приехать именно суда...

It was not reall clean. The curtains and the Windows could need some refreshment, but I think this has more to do with the building itself than the workers. Some renovations wouldn't be tooo bad.

Ein richtiges Strandhotel der gehobenen Klasse für eine Rucksackreise durch Indien. War für uns der Abschluss der Reise. Top mit Pool, Liegen und Ausblick aufs Meer. Zimmer sauber, groß, gute Klimaanlage. Super Restaurant dabei, Personal absolut zuvorkommend und bemüht.

All the staff were friendly. I liked everything. The hotel is located next to the turtle beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The room was clean ,with beautiful view. The staff, who name is Kelum and Yehan (sorry if I wrote his name wrong) informed everything and even helped to get on the bus.

Fab stay after a couple of nights of noisy trains at our last accommodation. Staff were really helpful and a few spoke really good English. Sian was lovely to chat with at breakfast time. Lovely pool and sea view, and the area was kept clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing and well worth it ( buffet of busy days and set menu on other days). The rooms have safes. Hot showers were great, really comfortable beds (honestly not like stone) and good air-conditioned rooms with fans. I wish we would have been her thw whole 3 days we stayed in Hikkaduwa, thanks for an amazing stay all...much love Roberta and John. Xx

Die Unterkunft liegt super schön direkt am Meer! Man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick vom Zimmer und auch vom Pool aus. Abends sieht man dort den tollen Sonnenuntergang. Alles war super sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Es gibt auch ein Restaurant welches zum Hotel dazu gehört. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!! 🫶🏼

Beautiful, clean rooms with a stunning view of the ocean from our balcony. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a great stay here!

The room was not clean and it was very old fasioned. There were bugs in the shower. It's such a pity that a hotel auch an amazing view is so ruined down. Windows are not sound proof - althoug I like the sound of waves, after some time they were very bothering and very noisy during the night.
