Es war alles kurz erreichbar.

Die Rezeption und einer der Kassier's. Der Service und die Zimmerreinigungskrat waren sehr freundliche und gute Menschen. Sie haben sich gekümmert um mich. Die Rezeption wirkt überheblich, man füllte sich nicht willkommen im Coral Sands. Und Herr Maduranga (Cashier) war eine volle Katastrophe. Ich wurde vom Hotel mit den Kosten des Privatdrivers übers Ohr gehauen, auch tat er sehr schwer was US Scheine betrifft. Er wusste, dass auch die Bank schwierig täte wegen einem kleinen Riss. Doch er sagte nichts und lies mich zur Bank gehen. Die absolute Krönung, beim Bankbesuch erschien er auch. Er stellte sich einfach neben mich und eine Beachtung gegenüber mir zu schenken, er grüsste nicht mal! Als ihm das Ganze zu lange ging bis er dran kam, ging er einfach wieder. Im weiteren habe ich mein Kartenetui irgendwo liegen lassen. Ich habe das Hotel angeschrieben 3.9 so um halb neun, ob ich sie bei ihnen im Hotel liegen gelassen habe. Ich warte heute noch auf eine Antwort.

Hygiene, De kamers waren vies, overal haren, lakens vies en kapot. We kregen een upgrade. Jammer genoeg waren deze kamers nog viezer. Vliegen achter het gordijn en beestjes in het bed. We zijn direct vertrokken. We hebben gezien dat ze wel bezig zijn met het opknappen van kamers. Een goede zaak maar een goede controle op de schoonmaak zou zeker een verschil maken.

Location is near to hikkadua turtle beach. Swimming pool is well maintained

Old building needs a lot of renovation. They don’t have lift to go upstairs that’s a big minus

Großes Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal wie eigentlich überall in SriLanka. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok aber nicht super, Kaffee wie auch überall in SriLanka mäßig. Direkt am Strand, schöner Pool, grundsätzlich empfehlenswert. Wir konnten später auschecken ohne Aufpreis was auch nicht immer selbstverständlich ist.

It was my 3rd visit to this hotel. I had a very nice room with a balcony and seaview, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant and bar is very good both the buffet and the a la carte menu, the location and the outside area is very good. A nice beach and two swimmingpools and a nice garden. The hotel has also a nice café.

Sijainti Hikkaduwassa oli ihana suoraan merenrannalla. Aaltojen kohina kuului huoneeseen. Vieressä oli paras koralliranta ja kilppareiden luo pääsi helposti. Aamiainen tarjoiltiin alakerrassa, jossa avoin näkymä merelle. Siihen on mukava herätä.

Ei mitään mistä en olisi pitänyt. Ei vain ole mikään luksus Hilton. Palvelu toki samaa luokkaa ja sijainti mainio.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und hat eine Tauchbasis gleich nebenan. Auch die Lage zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war sehr gut. Das Zimmer war leider sehr enttäuschend, obwohl sich das Personal sehr bemüht hat eine Lösung zu finden.

Die Ausstattung des Hotelzimmers war sehr alt undteilweise kaputt. Der Spiegel war teilweise blind und verrostet, der Kühlschrank war verrostet, der Ventilator und Safe waren kaputt und wurden notdürftig nach unserer Nachfrage repariert.

Stedet er veldig slitt og bærer preg av mangelfullt vedlikehold. Få solsenger i forhold til antall gjester. For oss ble 4 netter mer enn nok.

Midt mellom Turtle beach og Hikkaduwa beach, restauranter og butikker i nærheten. Veldig god buffet frokost! Hyggelig personale. Bra wifi. Supert svømmebasseng og barnebasseng!

Super slitt overalt. Rommet vårt var lite og møkkete. Daglig rengjøring, men det blir ikke rent.

Das Hotel liegt nahe zum Busbahnhof und Bahnhof, direkte Strandlage. Die Anlage hat einen wunderschönen Pool. An der Bar gibt es ausgezeichnete Cocktails, die jedoch kostenpflichtig sind.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Aber für zwei Nächte ausreichend. Aufgrund der vielen russischen Gäste ist alles nur auf Russisch angeschrieben, teilweise nicht mal auf Englisch. Und das in ganz Hikkaduwa.

I always visit this hotel when I am in Sri Lanka, it never disappoints. Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Really good to have wifi coverage throughout - this is a big improvement.

Hotellet ligger godt ift. at snorkle på stranden og tæt på restauranter. Begge pools er gode. Personalet er søde. Caféen som ligger uden for hotellet har meget god kaffe og venligt personale.

Det er meget slidt, hvilket er rigtig ærgerligt, for det har potientiale til at være et flot hotel! Det er så slidt, at vi overvejede at skifte hotel. Der er ikke nok liggestole, og dem der er bliver hurtigt optaget og spærret resten af dagen. Også selvom folk ikke bruger dem.

The property is in a poor state of repair. Rusty sunbeds, slats missing from the balcony. Not enough sunbeds. One gate to beach permanently locked and damaged. Exposed pipes on footpath. Rust in bathroom. Same breakfast every morning. We were unable to adjust the sumbed on our balcony due to damage. Pictures on booking.com obviously taken some time ago and did not reflect the current facilities.

Det ligger helt ud til vandet, og har en dejlig pool. Ikke langt fra stedet hvor der er lidt koraler og fisk, vandet ved koralstedet er for det meste roligt, og børn kan bade der.

Det er dyrt for hvad man får af faciliteter. Noget nedslidt, og der skal betales hvis man vil bruge fitnes faciliteterne, som ikke er fantastiske

The room was upgraded for me and the room was the only thing i liked about the hotel as it had a nice view. Rest nothing i liked.

The location is nice, but my stay was disrupted due to a serious check-in issue. Despite having a confirmed Booking.com reservation, the hotel claimed they hadn’t received it, which forced me to arrange alternative accommodation for one night. The situation was eventually resolved, but the handling and communication from management negatively affected my overall experience. I was compensated with an upgrade to the room which I’m thankful for, and the room was quite nice, but the overall experience was not good so it affected my stay. I was unhappy with the hospitality offered at front desk only. I wish they were more heartfelt instead of business oriented and cater to their guests with more heart. I lived also in Mirissa & Colombo resorts and the hospitality there was spot on, so i know it can be good just not here.

We booked 2 rooms deluxe and they than said they had upgraded them when that was what we had booked? One of the rooms leaked onto the bed they than moved the bed over and put a cup under the leak, when we got back to the room there was more leaks and towels were put down, not offered another room! We stayed for 3 nights and no room clean was done, had to ask for new towels and toilet rolls

The staff were very friendly and their NYE celebrations were next level!

The other tourists staying there were very grumpy.

It is a hotel with a swimming pool and sea view, and the view is excellent. The bedding was very soft, so the bed was very nice. The bathroom was spacious and the water pressure was good, so it was pleasant, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. I stayed for two nights and three days, and while I was out, I was surprised to see the room and our luggage, and they cleaned and organized it. I had snorkeling early in the morning, so I couldn't make time for my meal. I told you in advance that I could get a meal package after snorkeling. Thanks to the beautifully packed meal, I was able to have a late meal on the terrace. Thank you. Most of all, the room was clean, so I could rest comfortably.

I had breakfast and dinner, but it was a pity that the meal was easy and not particularly delicious.

Очень достойный отель. Бассейны понравились, расположение хорошее. Номера вполне приличное, фен, все работает. Завтраки приличные, фруктов 4 вида, был стол с местной кухней, вафли, яичница или омлет (жарил повар), отдельно были яйца вареные, скрембл. Воду давали в номера, уборка регулярно. Спортзал приличный, эллипсоид и беговая есть, много всего для силовых. Бегать с видом на Индийский океан - отдельный вид удовольствия!!! Сотрудники вежливые, кое-что знают по-русски.

Не понравилась смена пароля от Интернета раз в неделю. Как-то приехали с экскурсии в 22.30, а Отель пароль сменил. Сил идти на ресепшен не было, так и просидели без И нтернета до утра😁

Hotelli oli todella hyvällä sijainnilla ja henkilökunta oli aivan ihanaa. Todella ihania. Huoneet olivat myös kivan kokoisia ja meren läheisyys oli hyvä

Hotellin yleiset vessat ovat aika likaisia ja huoneet tarvitsisivat ehdottomasti remontin! Ainakin kipeästi sitä kaipaisi wc ja suihku! Aamupala oli joka aamu lähes sama.

Quasi tutto Hotel vecchio, usurato, avrebbe bisogno di forti investimenti sia in struttura che in managerialità. Appena arrivati ci hanno fatto l’upgrading alle camere superior deluxe. Stanze vecchie, mal messe e mal gestite. Sporche, lenzuola macchiate e bucate, materassi sporchi, mattonelle del bagno incrostate, tende macchiate e sporche, lampade rabberciate col nastro isolante, prese elettriche bruciate e non funzionanti. Cassaforte in una delle stanze non funzionante per tutto il soggiorno nonostante le continue richieste di sistemazione. Addirittura ho fatto io presente al responsabile che gli estintori erano arrugginiti e scaduti perché non se ne erano accorti. Management assente perché tutti queste cose non possono essere non viste e non gestite. Buffet della colazione anacronistico, tovaglie bucate, copri tavolo e seggioloni vecchi e sporchi. Alle mie rimostranze hanno provato a fare di più e meglio ma senza successo. Ci hanno offerto delle cose che prima della mia lamentela non ci erano state offerte tipo il piatto di frutta in camera, le ciabatte da camera, extra saponi ecc Condizioni generali dell’albergo e particolari delle camere pietose. Non vale i soldi che chiede.

The way we were told our breakfast was not included, even thought we showed them our booking, saying we had paid for breakfast included, so have paid twice!!!!! Also you were unable to use the fridge as it was locked!!!!

Hotelul are nevoie de ceva reparatii, ac-ul din camera era defect și nu s-a reușit rezolvarea problemei pe parcursul șederii noastre.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights at the Coral Sands Hotel. We enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our stay for another 2 nights. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and the hotel stay was very comfortable. The food was excellent catering for both Sri Lankan and International tourists. The air-conditioning in our deluxe room was excellent and made the room feel really comfortable. We also enjoyed the walk in rain shower in the bathroom. The hotel has immediate beach access with taps and showers to both gates leading to the sea. The beaches are lovely to swim and I would recommend going in the morning before mid-day for gentle waves and clear blue waters. The hotel is also 400 metres from turtle beach making it an easy costal of town stroll to the Turtle Beach. Overall I would give the hotel a 10/10. It exceeded our expectations and would would be delighted to visit again. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

It is dated, breakfast is diverse but quality so so ...dépends really what one expects - pastries are ok but nothing to brag about, traditional egg station, fruits and salad a bit uninviting for some reason ....

Не знаю, что может понравиться в этом отеле. Завтрак достаточно скудный, из мяса только бумажные сосиски. Территория ушатывается и частично проваливается в море, все ржавое. Первой линии нет! Около отеля нет пляжа, сразу же море. Но в нем нельзя купаться из-за припаркованных лодок. Персонал не идет на встречу, хотя приветлив

We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night on our way back up the coast to Colombo to fly onto our next destination. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although Hikkaduwa had been recommended to us to visit, there are nicer resorts further south. This hotel did what we needed it to. It was a pleasant stay and the pool area was really nice

Places looks fancier in photos but it's tired and a bit dated. It would have been lovely 20 years ago. Pool is nice.

Feels like a Group Tour old fashioned style of place..older style. The Township of Hikkaduwa is not that appealing, it's ok, not much Vibe. Sorry didn't enjoy

The cleanliness can be improved. Found lots of cockroaches in my bathroom and cobwebs on the walls.

1. Exorbitantly overpized as compared to other properties at lower price and better facilities 2. No Garden 3. No kids playing area 4. Room was average with torn blankets they provide old one. 5. Even corridor was dark and not clean. 6. No private beach. 7. Limited Veg food for Indians 8. Room door lock was broken after sometime they send someone to fix it. Conclusion: I will never recommend this property to any one at the prize what was charged to us. They are charging massively on the name of 4 star property meanwhile you can get better property at lower prize. We even contact booking.com but there was no prompt reply from there side. Hotel staff said they can't help as it has to be done online if we want any changes. Not recommended to anyone. 2 star resort much better than this .

Un clean , not catering for locals , the food variety is not good , does not cater to us sri lankas anymore , I have been to coral sands before very often and the food and atmosphere was really nice , now it doesn't, very much ignored service for ari lankan locals . Food buffet was shit actually .

We have got a free "upgrade" of the room from deluxe to super luxe, which in fact was a huge downgrade. Rooms in that "super luxe" on the 3rd floor have a terrible quality in comparison with the second floor. Moreover we saw cockroaches and rats in the hotel. Breakfasts were okay, but close to 3/5. I won't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

Nothing. Don’t believe the good reviews, I guess they may be paid for.

Everything is dirty and outdated: the pool, the ventilation system, the shower was broken, there is black mold everywhere. Never stay there.

Coral Sands Hotel was a fantastic place to stay! The location is great and right on the beach with stunning ocean views and within walking distance to great bars and restaurants. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable and cleaned everyday. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

Nothing like the photos, very dated. No flow with the building, looks like they just keep adding more on and it looks congested. Tiles around the pool were slippery and dangerous. Rooms were adequate, curtains let the light in and were filthy!

The location was perfect. Property is adjacent to the famous Hikkaduwa beach which is very clean and nice. Walking distance to famous turtle beach. Pool is clean and well maintained. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Room facilities should be improved a bit. Single doormat was provided. But additional one or two will be useful since we go outsite to the beach time to time. No tissue box was provided.
