Best Western Inn On The Bay

We booked last minute and it was all easy and comfortable. Nice and comfortable and clean room.

Breakfast was crowed but it wasn’t a problem.

Friendly staff were very accommodating. Nice walking trail by the water, right outside the door.

Didn't like having the room with the big garbage dumpsters outside as the collection truck was early and loud.

Everything was perfect; the room, the beds, the food in the restaurant, the reception, the ambience, positively everything. We also could not believe the price! We will return.

Nothing really. One trivial, insignificant thing - Would have liked to have some water in the fridge.

The room and sleep quality were all fine. The staff on the front desk did their job, but were not particularly friendly -- there was no sense they were happy to be there and really wanted to help you. Breakfast was nice. But was not included in the hotel stay.

Pool was smaller than it looked on the website. Anymore than 5-6 people is to meny in the room, with only 2 chairs. It was also dirty with a scum around the top of the hot tub. There was a funky smell throughout the hotel. We had booked the "larger" room as the website said in the tower. The room was no different than a regular hotel room. If this is the larger room i would hate to stay in the smaller one.

Only hotel in the area and a big step up from the multiple motels in the area. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. The restaurant onsite is very good with views of the harbour. Food is reasonably priced and very generous portions. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

I like this hotel 'Best Western Inn on the bay' so much. Stuffs are friendly and helping. The room (two big king beds) are so comfy and big, the beds are so soft, all looks clean. The location is good, also easy for fishing. This is second time we stay in this hotel, next time we'll stay again.

If the room price can include free breakfast, it will be better.

No complaints, but it looked like the waitress could use some help with another two staff members during the breakfast hours in the Bishop's Landing Restaurant.

The trail beside hotel is inviting. Views from pool area and Dining room calming. Rooms are large and beds comphy. Quiet on 4th floor. Brussels sprouts in restaurant were delicious.

Our dinner in Dining Room lacked flavour excluding brussels sprouts. Pillows were lumpy and felt like hospital pillow.

Location. Not near highway. Old building, carpeting . Long way to elevator. No breakfast. Too expensive

The breakfast was excellent and good value. We came to go to Greenwood Cemetery, so being positioned on 2 ave was excellent.

Would have been nice if our room would have been closer to the elevator, as wide needs to use walker, but was just a minor inconvenience.

This Best Western location is a wonderful stay each and every time. The staff are lovely & friendly, the beds and bedding make for a super comfortable sleep, the views of the Georgian Bay shoreline are stunning and lastly, the food is delicious with generous portions. This is the first time I would prefer to eat at the hotel restaurant for any and EVERY meal of the day. Plus, they have daily lunch and dinner specials. So impressed! My kids and I love the food! This Best Western location has been an overall fantastic experience. My family and I love it here. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Thank you to all staff for their attention to detail. We will be back!

We visit Owen Sound every year or two, and this B/W is our 'go to'. It checks all the boxes, and has an excellent restaurant on site.

Best Western Owen sound was a breath of fresh air. Service was topnotch and the rooms were spacious and clean. The waterview from the bedroom window is so refreshing. I will certainly go back next year.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was very good. The view over the water is quite picturesque as long as you don’t look left towards the rather large industrial plant.

The evening meal was not that good my wife had to change hers at is was awful my meal tasted like it had been warmed up in a microwave

Great place. Clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Stayed for 1 night while on a business trip to the area. Check in area was clean and staff were polite and courteous. My only complaint is that the restaurant o my opens at 6:30. I am usually out by shortly after 6 and always have to buy food somewhere else. They did have coffee there for the taking but again would have been nice if there was from fruit and or yogurt. Other than that it was a great stay

The hotel is located on the water with a walking path in front. It’s a short driving distance to restaurants and gas stations. The hotel seemed to have a stale smell, possibly from the hot tub area. We didn’t use the hot tub because the area is very small and it was very crowded.

This is a repeated visit. That is a vouch for BW ser.

The carpeting in hallway smelled stale. Staff were receptive and accommodating. Location is isolated from downtown.

The property is one stop shopping! Breakfast was amazing!! The view is amazing

The breakfast was offered to us because of a minor mix-up with our reservation which was quickly corrected. We appreciated the offer, and the breakfast was great, with a nice view of the water.

We were very pleased that there was an electric car charging station on the property. You have to be aware however, that once your battery is full, you will still be charged for being plugged in. I believe that the charging station is separate from the hotel. The restaurant was very good, we had dinner and breakfast there. Also enjoyed the whirlpool. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice walking trail along the water.

It was a beautiful inn, loved the bay view, beautiful and comfortable rooms

Only thing that got to me, during check in I have to hand the clerk my credit card. That’s fine and understandable. But then, once the clerk is done with my card, instead of handing it back or gently putting it on the counter he actually tosses the card on the counter. Almost like if it were a playing card. Everything else was great but that one action is disrespectful, not to mention it can harm the chip on my credit card because of the inn’s employee’s actions.

We stayed at the Best Western Inn On The Bay this past weekend. The hotel was quite nice and most importantly, it was clean and the staff were super friendly. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was reasonably priced and the food was really good. The only minor things that could use some attention is the shower head in the bath tub as it had either very low pressure coming out or the holes were plugged. The other thing was the pillows on the bed. They are so thick that you have a hard time getting comfortable and having a good sleep. Otherwise, the stay was great!

Recently stayed at the Best Western By The Bay. The hotel was more than we expected. The view of the water and sunsets were amazing. We stayed for our 33 rd wedding anniversary and the hotel staff made it a fabulous experience. I want to say a very special thank you to James who went that extra mile to make sure it was one to remember. We ate t the Hotel restaurant and the food was superb. Thanks from the two of us
