We paid for king size bed but we got a queen size bed Shower didn’t work and when we asked in the morning for help no help to be found. We were told we will have to go without a shower

The staff were very kind and accommodating, our room was so spacious and comfortable with a high ceiling. Having a balcony was a nice addition. They are working hard to get the property in better condition, doing tons of renovations and such. The price was reasonable

This isn’t the staffs fault at all, the listing just wasn’t updated so I wasn’t aware of the pool being closed and all of the Jacuzzi tubs being removed from the rooms for renovations. (I originally booked a jacuzzi suite.) all is well though, the room we ended up with was really nice.

Bunch of liars. They cancelled my booking without information. I m strander at midnight with my family without a place to stay.

The property is under construction. Boxing everywhere. The room says “ hot tub in room” that was a lie. It was a horrible place to stay. They woke us up at 6:30 am with construction sounded like a drill or something like that.

The advertisement was a lie no hot tub at all. Also the staff was rude when I asked for one with a hot tub. Saying they are under construction right now.

I have been staying at this location for 36 years and it continues to deliver what I need clean rooms. Lots of space facilities I require all great.

I like this facility because of its location right beside the highway, but back far enough to be nice and quiet as well as gas stations and food available very close by

Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly. Location was good. Close to the highway.

Curtains didn't close properly. Hotel was obviously needing to be refreshed but viukd see that you we're doing all that.

the bath was plugged couldn’t take a shower the bathroom was still dirty from someone else couldn’t find the room took like 20 mins and the ac didn’t work

It was on remodelation, there was a lot of things in bad conditions, missing, out of order, and for the price may be this was higher than the expectations or that they announced online.

There was no free brakefast, pool was out of order, housekeeping missing my room, there was no coffee maker in the rooms, rooms doors dividers stuck, TV remote controller not working.

The breakfast was good.

They lost my reservation. The TV, phone, lock to the door were not working, and they had mouse traps in my room. The pool was closed and filled with doors and windows.

It was in a good location

It literally looks like the backrooms merged with a murder motel. There was holes in the wall and the tv just didn’t work and the room was super creepy

The staff were very accommodating and kind.

The location was great and clean and the staff were friendly and respectful.

It took over a month to reimburse my deposit, they tried to double charge me and I caught them. There was one towel in the bath and one of the beds had no sheets on it. There was the same bag of garbage in the hall across from my room from Friday till Sunday.

Staff tried, but tv cable did not work. Hotel is dirty in halls garbage in hallway for 2 days checked out a day early and have not got my refund yet. No towels changed took old towels had to ask for new ones. Cigarette butter everywhere. Outside door lock did not work

The shower wasn't working in my room, the room smelled of chemical cleaner and cigarette smoke, and the cleanliness of the room was wanting.

There was only one bath towel and one hand towel, NO face cloths. the breakfast sausage and eggs were cold, There was only one paper plate. Not a good breakfast.

Room pictures are very misleading,they look nothing like the picture. The hallways were filled with trash on the ground everywhere. The bed sheets had stains and hair all over. Would not suggest to anyone.

There was nothing good about this stay. We left the property since we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there.

- the room was not as advertised - the jacuzzi in room had black duct tape inside of it covering one jet - the pool advertised was “under maintenance” - homeless people wandering the building - cigarette burns on the toilet seats - no remote for the TV - no towels of any kind in the room - the phone had no power to it when we tried to phone to complain - when we walked to front desk to complain, no one was there. We phoned the front as we were at the front, no one answered or showed. We had to walk the halls and find him - when we asked for a discount, none available and a manager in tomorrow - when I called back next day to ask to set my charger aside for me (I knew exactly where I forgot it in room) they said it wasn’t found in the room

It was disgusting. Puke in the halls, smelled horrid, brown sludge in toilets, no elevator, pool not open as advertised. Nastiest hotel I’ve ever set foot in.

The room was clean, we stayed in 316... the beds were comfortable. The jacuzzi was hot. The layout was perfect. The couches and chairs were definitely outdated, but for the price the room itself WAS worth it. Me and the kids had a ton of fun pretending to have a spa day!

The staff was friendly, but not very informative. They lacked communication about facilities such as the pool, hot tub and ice machines being out of order or under renovation, when my daughters asked where the ice machines were they told them where to find them while knowing they weren't working, he watched us load up our trolley with our luggage and didn't bother to tell us that it was pointless. As a matter of fact i dont know why they even have one as there are no elevators or ramps, so the trolley could only take us about 15 feet from the lobby to around the corner before having to unload it and carry our luggage up the stairs. It would have been much more convenient to load things up the back door. But the BIGGEST issue was the fact that all doors are left unlocked until night time, and then they remain locked until the manager comes back. Which was not before checkout at 11 by the way. Even the door leading to the front lobby was locked. Every single door except one is inoperable until opened with a key from the OUTSIDE....In the event of a fire, there would be no reasonable escape. Fortunately for us we were in the only room with a balcony! But trying to leave in the morning in minus 30 and having to walk around the entire building to get to our vehicle was incredibly frustrating. They should have let us know the doors would become operational and we would have at least moved our cars around to the main doors.

I stayed there for four days and nights three nights. I did not have hot water. They post that there is a swimming pool and a hot tub on the preferences. They are both not working. The complementary breakfast was very poor security doors do not work properly. I will not stay there again

this hotel is a dump and the staff shouldn't be in the hospitality industry the sooo called pools are not in use and they should state this on the web page, worst hotel ive ever stayed at

Most of the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean upon arrival and I understand the place had been run down in the past but is under new management and it takes time for the renovations and upgrades to the facilities to be completed. The pricing was the most affordable in the entire city and they upgraded my single room upon arrival to a massive executive suite so I was able to bring my kids for a stay at the place. I will return in the future.

The bathroom was cramped and the bathtub was dirty. If you were sitting on the toilet you couldn’t shut the door, because the paper was on the other side of the door.

Flies in my room, stained sheets and towels, no one told me when checking in or when booking the pool and hot tub were closed. Told the staff of the issues and they followed up with “oh that’s not good so how would you like your deposit back” gross.

We arrrived to find that the pool was out of service, the ice machine was broken, the hallways smelled like mildew and smoke, the carpet was stained, and the wallpaper was torn and patched all throughout. Upon arriving to our room the faucet was rusted out, the bathroom tub continually peeked and the curtains were ripped. Breakfast in the morning was some old bread with flies on it, a bit of Froot Loops (no milk) and some packets of ketchup and butter. We would never stay here again. The place needs a serious overhaul.

Didn't get the room I booked. No queen bed. They had me in a first floor room then when I arrived put me in a crappy second floor room in the back. Air conditioning not working. Internet not working. No cups for coffee or drinking. Not sure what i did to deserve to be put in such a crappy room.

Despite undergoing renovations, the room and bathroom was clean and beds were comfortable to sleep on. No TV service in the room. One staff member was friendly and greeted us wonderfully when we arrived. However the other staff member when going for breakfast was pretty much rude, wasn’t professional at all. The breakfast was a huge disappointment, dry and not warm, no coffee cups around or juice either.

Advertised that there was a pool and breakfast included but there was neither! Very disappointing.

Paid for a King room. “Upgraded” to 2 Queens. Don’t fit well in queen size. Booked later evening was there within an hour showed late check in as reason room was gone. No towels, no housekeeping the next day so left and booked another hotel asking for a refund. Bait and switch. Terrible location with homeless. No pool amenities and no mention at time of booking. Stay away. Too many better places. Expedia should cut ties with this dive.

Both myself and another patron, I met next morning at the breakfast bar, had to pay an ‘upgrade fee’ to have a ground floor room (there is no elevator to the 2nd floor). The ‘upgrade’ had a kitchenette, a large jetted tub and 2 queen beds which was very very nice The major downside: the drapes didn’t fully close, they was one drapery panel missing, and the drapes were torn and ragged on the ends of the drapery rods. My unit faced the street and not being able to properly close the drapes was unsettling! There was a fan blowing in my room when I checked in; I couldn’t turn it off, nor down (the other patron I spoke with couldn’t turn hers on in her unit). The ‘breakfast included’ was sufficient but it was the poorest I’ve ever had. There was bread, a toaster, some hot scrambled eggs, and some sausages that didn’t appear to have been cooked (they were pastry white, not browned) and only luke warm. There were also 2 choices of cold cereal. Most breakfasts at hotels I’ve stayed at will have yogurt, muffins, and/or fruit Having had foot surgery recently I wanted to elevate my legs in bed and decided the garbage can would be a good start for some height before adding pillows to raise my legs above the level of my heart. I took the garbage bag out of the kitchen garbage can and put it in the sink but then found the garbage can had a whole lot of drywall dust in it and so I couldn’t use it as I didn’t want all that dirt in the bed. Somewhere they are renovating I guess

Everything was filthy. It smelled terrible, every time I looked around I found somthing else dirty or messed up. Carpet in the room had ripples in it so one could trip on. Tv was all static, thermostat batteries were dead. Shut the fan off and it had the largest buildup of dust on the blades that I have ever seen. When I went back to get my deposit back that I was told to make sure I got back before I left the guy at the till was very rude and didn’t want to. He said I needed to wait till housekeeping checked over the room. After arguing with him he said he would check it. I went with him just in case he tried anything. When I pointed out how dirty everything was he basicly pushed me out of the hotel. I will never recommend this place to anyone. It was terrible.

Indian restaurant across the street is delicious

Hotel is run down. Garbage littered everywhere in the parking lot. Bannisters to second floor all rusted. Room was clean though. No towels, coffee or shampoo. But not fault of staff. They were lovely. Such kind and helpful people. Owners should try harder. I guess you get what you pay for but still, disappointing.

That manager was very accommodating

The pool wasn’t working, the rooms where beyond dirty! There were people doing hard drugs on the property! They changed are rom 3 times and all rooms had an awful smell. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. It was a very unsafe place to bring the kids!!

Property in disrepair, smells like old dirty carpets and not very clean. Both swimming pools, one permanently closed the other closed for repairs. Room seemed updated and fairly clean but had no supplies with the coffee machine and only one paper cup unwrapped. We didn’t stay! Asked for a refund to no avail.

We went there to have continental breakfast in the morning and we're very very disappointed.All they had was eggs and sausages,coffee,cereal.No fruits or muffins. I would not recommend this hotel in Medicine Hat as they don't really care about their customers. We found used towels in the washroom it obviously hadn't been cleaned up by any of the cleaning staff. No coffee maker in our room they had to hunt for one also there were no mugs for coffee
