SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Salmon Arm

very accommodating as I had a wedding at 3:00pm and they let me check in early which made things so much easier then I was able to come back and chill a bit before the reception location was great room was comfortable and the breakfast was good though the price fluctuated a lot so i had to pay twice which was rather annoying so make sure you double check you are not over paying or underpaying

the hot tub should be working it was cool out and I really wanted to relax but it was not working and its been in disrepair for a while your a hotel chain you need to get on these things or reduce the cost otherwise other hotels that do have these things will take over and push you out of business when you do have a great place just get it fixed :)

Breakfast was excellent. The lady who took my order and went upstairs to get it for me was lovely and so accommodating. She checked several times to see if I needed anything else. Desk people on check-in and check-out were pleasant. Toilet was raised and had a grab bar which was essential.

The "accessible" suite had a tub/shower combination which meant no shower for a person with mobility issues who needed a walk-in shower. Having the breakfast room upstairs meant not accessible for person with walker. While arrangements had been made for delivery of food, it meant not eating with friends. Bed was just a couple of inches too high making it difficult for a short person to get into. Most tv channels said that there was no subscription for them so viewing was limited.

Comfortable room, good location

There was no coffee system in the room. Apparently BW does not want the competition???! Considering the relatively high price for the room (similar or more than other BW rooms we were in on our trip)I felt this was a big factor

Breakfast had variety of options - love the choices. Bed was very comfortable.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was decent. The location was excellent.

Nothing really. I think for a longer stay like we had, we needed a suite with a sofa or sitting chairs. Parking was at a minimum, since there was a paving company that took lots of spaces with their big trucks.

Very unclean, crumbs on furniture, dirt on floor, hair on comforter also slight stain on a sheet so had me wondering if room was even cleaned. Feet were black from only sort time walking around room.

We arrived at this location and we're refused service because bookong.com attempted to secure us a room that was not pet friendly. This location refused our business because booking.com did not communicate to the location tjat we requested a pet friendly room.

Was there for 4 days 258 a day you would expected to be treated nicely for the price. Socks black from the floor . No cleaner for 4 days. A knock on my door . A mounting telling me I have been calling a room in the hotel and knocking on the door. I said no not me. I said check the phone records at the desk. He said OK and left. An hour later 2 cops at door with front desk guy said you half to leave. Said what now. Same thing I have not touched the roor to room phone or knocked on any doors. I said check camera check phone records. So kicked out at 10 pm. Desk guys name Barry Herbert. I have no record do t do stuff like this. I am 69. So if you want this in your life this is the place for you.discusting place. Seeking lawsuit.

The room was excellent, if I stay again, I will request room on bottom floor due to my age and carrying suitcases up the stairs.

The bathroom is too old, and the exhaust fan is very noisy.

They were there when we needed them(no tent poles packed for camping !!). They had a double room on the ground floor (last one!). Front desk and breakfast personnel were very friendly, and it was a good, hot breakfast.

The pool was extremely hot.. more like a hot tub.. abd the hot tub was broken. And almost empty of water.. absolutely filthy

there wasn't anything not to like

Wasn’t expecting such a great stay at a little motel off the highway. All the staff were very friendly and helpful (the little lady in the breakfast room especially!). The room was very clean. They were actively spending $ on ongoing maintenance. We didn’t use the pool - can’t vouch for it, but given the rest of the facilities were great, i would imagine the pool was too. Would definitely stay again.

The room was crawling with flies and roaches. The floors were filthy. Bed was comfortable, but whole experience left a lot to be desired.

Could have been cleaner. The door didn't seal so the bugs just came right in. It was a constant struggle.

The noisy construction all day

Good location and great breakfast included. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms.

The floor in the room was absolutely filthy. Our feet and socks were black after just walking into the room. They clearly never mop the floors. They are also chintzy with the towels. 4 people, 3 towels. We also booked a room with 2 queen beds and got double beds. We got in very late and so didn’t bother to complain at that time, and the front desk staff didn’t ask about our stay in the morning, just snatched the key and abruptly walked off.

Excellent value for money. The room was large and very comfortable. It included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Free breakfast was extremely good: choice of cereals, toast, fruit, yogurt and waffles. The woman running the breakfast room was so friendly and efficient.

The location was convenient. The breakfast was good, the breakfast room pleasant and the staff member there very helpful.

Our room was dirty. The floor was covered in dust, dirty marks and bits and pieces - it obviously hasn't been hoovered, let alone mopped. Surfaces were dusty and the bed looked crumpled. All in all, it was very unwelcoming. We had booked two nights and brought this to the attention of the front desk on checking in. We were told it was the only available room, but that it would be cleaned properly the next day. It wasn't. The hotel manager dealt with our concerns more fully after this, but we wouldn't stay again.

Extremely noisy heater/fan. Kept me awake. Made a very loud noise on startup then made a rattling noise while operating. Low hung lamp was annoying.

Booking.com screwed up the booking. We paid for a king size bed and pet friendly room. When arrived the hotel didn’t have pet friendly room with king bed. We ended up paying more for pet

We had to move rooms and the second room was better. This hotel was much better than the Best Western Sure Stay in Coquitlam.

We had to move rooms as the room was not in great or accessible condition. The shower was too small and the shower head was at the top of the ceiling. When using the hower, you had to stand at the back of the shower in order to wash. The hot water took forever to enter the shower. The shower rod was literally falling off the wall. The bathroom fan was horribly loud. The fridge was hidden in a corner and not easily accessible. It was a double bed not queen.

The fact that they gave me the wrong room key and told me the wrong room number to begin with. I was sent to a room that already had an occupant whom was not at all happy with me trying to open their door.. I paid for 2 day upfront and was never notified that my key was going to reset in 24 hours which is ridiculous to begin with why was mine reset when they knew I was staying for another day. So In a two day stay I had to go to the office both days to deal with either wrong key being given or having my key cancelled. Not cool at all!

Location being close to restaurants and Starbucks, comfortable bed. Lots of room for parking with the extended trailer we were hauling. Heating/cooling was updated and worked great.

Room very clean. Sheets smelled like home. Nice pool and hot tub area. Very good breakfast.

I appear to have been charged twice as the hotel asked me to pay after I had already paid Booking.com. I'm chasing a refund....

Breakfast was better than expected.

Floor of the room needed to be mopped. It left our feet black. Night table was not wiped off and there was a sticky ring from a cup or can.

Breakfast was great! Lots of options, including eggs, sausage and waffles. The woman working the breakfast room was extremely friendly and keeping everything clean and organized.

Everything was clean but a few spots, like kids finger prints on the mirrors, were not cleaned.

Wonderful caring staff, front desk and breakfast room. Easy to find and clean, quiet. Nice breakfast room: very welcoming, and while its upstairs they will take your order and have it brought down to you in the lower dining area if that’s an issue for you.

We had such a good rest the first night decided to stay 2 :) everything was great!

The pet friendly room was really spacious. We got a change of linens in the late evening, no questions asked. The breakfast was very nice with lots of selection, and hot options. The staff were wonderful.

The rooms are outdated but its clean enough.
