Best Western Plus Moncton

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Pool was freezing cold. Couldn't get into the pool. We always enjoy using the pools at the hotels. Was very disappointed with pool.

**Disappointing Stay Despite Friendly Staff** The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which was definitely a positive part of our stay.

Unfortunately, the room and facilities had several issues that made the experience disappointing. The shower had visible cracks with what appeared to be attempted repairs. The repairs looked almost like wet toilet paper stuck to the shower floor, which was not very appealing. More concerning, the floor underneath the shower was soft and swollen, making me question whether there was water damage. The alarm clock was also not displaying the correct time properly, and our room had **two empty beer cans left behind by the previous guests**, which should have been caught during housekeeping. The treadmill in the gym was out of order, which was disappointing for guests hoping to use the fitness facilities. I was also surprised by the **MAT fee**, as this was unexpected and did not feel particularly welcoming, especially considering the condition of some of the facilities.

Lit trop petit

Front desk staff Abdullah was fantastic

Breakfast, cold abd tastes no flavor Staff at breakfast ...grumpy, spoke about blind people coming in and to stay out of their way... Noisy location and guests

The staff was amazing. The breakfast was awesome. The breakfast staff are the best.

Nothing was comfy other than the bed. The bed was comfortable They had a cot you could feel the springs could not be slept on..

Staff was helpful.

Breakfast served on paper plates and cups. Low quality food.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I asked for a quiet room but I was placed in the noisiest part of the building. The air conditioner was very noisy and did not work. I couldn't sleep due to the noise and over heated room. Glad, the staff found me a comfortable room with a working air conditioner.

Breakfast

Air conditioning not working properly No microwave Extrelly little bottle of shampoo and conditioner Only two towels No bodywash No handsoap

Overall best holiday ever. Loved the pool, and the breakfast was great and all the staff were so helping Provided us with local attractions and times of the tides. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not a thing . We loved our stay.

Clean, comfortable & conveniently located. Very good lighting in the bathroom

They should have provided an additional chair. A room with two queen beds should have 2 chairs

Breakfast and very helpful breakfast staff

Room carpet was not vacuumed Room needed more light Difficult to enter from highway Located away from downtown and restaurants Needed more check-in staff

Personnel peu aimable.

The location was great. The staff were informative.

Breakfast was mediocre, nothing exceptional...I would say it meets the requirements for a continental breakfast. The rubber piece that covers the transition from room carpet to bathroom tile was wrinkled and preventing the door from closing easily. Same for opening the door, it was quite difficult and required either lots of pulling from inside the bathroom or someone to push on the door from the other side! Noticed that there were water stains on the ceiling in the bedroom and the grout at the corner of the tub/floor was incredibly dirty. Also, even tho we only had a 2 night stay, housekeeping did not even come to empty the garbage after our first night.

Excellent

Nothing

This stay fell well below the standard I have experienced at other Best Western properties. The poor experience began at check-in and continued through check-out. During both interactions, I felt as though I was inconveniencing or bothering the person working at the front desk. There was little indication that our business or loyalty was valued. The condition and cleanliness of the room were unacceptable. The pull-out bed mattress had holes in the underside, almost no cushioning, and potato chips left on it from what appeared to be a previous guest. It was so uncomfortable that I had to place the couch cushions on top of the mattress to make it possible to sleep. The pillowcases on the queen bed also had black patches that appeared to be embedded mould. In addition, the doors were sticky, batteries were missing from the remotes, and the room did not appear to have received an adequate housekeeping or maintenance inspection before we arrived.

Cons: carpet in the room was damp, some of the pillows/sheets had stains. Severe water damage in the bathroom looked disgusting. Bathroom wasn't very clean. The pool had no towels all three days we were there. There were clumps of hair in the pool and the garbage can was full to the brim. Made me wonder how often the pool was cleaned. The google page for the hotel listed a hot tub but there wasn’t one. Pros: beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Courteous staff. Free EV chargers.

Location to certain attractions was the only good thing.

Absolutely filthy rooms, pool was freezing cold and loaded with chlorine.

Place is clean and location is good

Breakfast dining area was cramped.

Carpet was soaked in front of the tv the toilet was loose it was really bad afraid to use it for the price not impressed.we have spent four other nights in this brand of hotels this was the worse.

Nicely set up with the different rooms

Sofa and chair in very wore out

Le personnel était sympatique et accueillant. L'endroit était propre et extrêmement bien situé.

L'internet fonctionnait mal.

Petit dej inclus.

Staff was not friendly had no wifi and they gave me information that was not true

They dont care about what your saying they just tell you what you wanna hear to get you on your way I asked this girl if they were holding a security deposit and she said yep 250 but that was false

Location was great. It was close to everything you needed

Beds were terrible. When I checked In I didn’t know if the front of house staff were sleeping or just didn’t know what was going on.

Facile d’accès, Check in/out rapide. Petit dej.

Breakfast in the hotel was good.

One of the bedsheet had blood stain on it, towels had hair. Our room was not cleaned on a daily basis even though we stayed three nights.

Why is there 2 queen beds for 4 possi le quests but o ly 2 towels face cloths a d hand towels.

All good

Room was quiet, breakfast was very nice, close to amenities that interest me & good price.

Security; ground-floor room window was not locked. As a female travelling alone, I always check. Only 2 tissue left in the box…allergy season (did have extra tp) There seemed to be training going on at the reception & I felt like I was interrupting/rushed.

Great pick! Room was clean, comfortable and a good value. Had a big refrigerator, microwave and the layout wprked well. Excellent shower and quiet but effective AC unit. Breakfast was standard fare but had a fancy espresso coffee machine which elevated it. An upgraded TV with option for Netflix would be welcome.

Excellent room, good breakfast

The breakfast room was far too small for the number of guests using it.

Great location, breakfast was good but repetitive for our whole stay.

Communication before checking in regarding renovations. Stepped off elevator on 2nd floor, floors removed and i stuck to the floor, and it smelled awful. Sink not draining properly in room. Food under bed. On second day they turned power off to repair lights, no notice or anything.

Clean and very friendly. Staff were wonderful, felt so welcome at your establishment.

Clean and loads of parking.

Breakfast was very good.

Belle chambre

un peut de misere avec la TV

It’s a decent place. Pool was awesome, location was good.

Room wasn’t cleaned the next day, although they informed us about staff shortage. Elevator not working- it’s a pain we had no help to move things up the stairs since elevator wasn’t working… really hated the stress we went through. It’s wasn’t fixed throughout our stay. No microwave in the room as shown in the pictures and amenities. We came with food and had to keep going downstairs to microwave + no elevator. Really a pain. Also no water in the room - I think it’s a nice gesture to atleast a bottle of water for your guest.

Everything is good

Everything

This hotel is drab and fairly ugly and is wildly overpriced. The next night, I stayed at a luxury hotel in Charlottetown for more than 20% less. This hotel would have been OK if the price was about half of what we paid. It did not feel like a Best Western Plus it felt like the basic BW.

See above.

Bien situé et silencieux

Rien du tout

Breakfast was great, loved the sausages. Coffee was good as well. Enjoyed the pool. Was a very quiet hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

The only thing that could have been better were the eggs. ALL the rest of the breakfast was great! Liked the variety.

Location was good. Close to everything

Rooms need updating. Daughter had broken foot and elevator was not working, so had to use stairs. Ice machine was out of service. Fridge had mold. Dust on top of pictures and light fixtures. Walls were dirty in bathroom, and corners on the floor in bathroom were disgusting. Way too expensive for what you get.

L'emplacement

Close to amenities, central location

Parking lot in poor condition

When I booked the hotel I asked for a 1st floor room because the elevator is broken and I did get a main floor room. The person I spoke to on the phone and also on Monday morning when I left is great.

Upon arrival on Sunday late - the person did not even give a welcome or smile. She charged me my room again - the room was fully paid. She was suppose to put the mandatory $250 security deposit on my card which is what I use that card for BUT instead she charged the room (again) and then proceeded to try and charge for the securtiy deposit which of course was declined because I only put $250 when I travel for the security deposits!!! Also had blood stain on the bed - 1 pillow had dark stains on it. The lighting outside the establishment needs to be upgraded. Even the sign in the driveway is burned out! I missed the driveway coming in at night!

Breakfast was ok.

The bacon was very salty, perhaps adding a touch of sugar when cooking will balance out the salt.

Unilingue anglais

The room was nice

No microwave. The furniture was dusty and carpet had chip crumbs, which told us ot was not cleaned properly.

Staff were friendly, but hotel room was gross! The curtains were torn and overall the room seemed old and in need of repairs. Our room was not clean. There was old food in the fridge and child's shirt on the floor in the bathroom. Pull out couch was disgusting with many stains. Payed extra for the king bed and suite, not worth the price. The breakfast was decent. Also FYI the elevator is currently broken.

I like!!

I'm 58 years old and my wife is 57, we were put on 2 floor with no elevator in room 251 by the time I got to my room I was exhausted. No senior decounts, no discounts for hospital stays. I never darken your doors again.

Very disappointed!! When we arrived we were told our rooms weren't ready yet with no time line as too when they would be. So wait or take two rooms not together on the 3rd floor. With a broken elevator. Then the rooms we did get on the 3rd floor were not very clean anyways. Including a dirty tub and stain on bed. It also said our rooms would have a microwave, which neither one did. For the price we paid, we are very unhappy with our stay.

Location

The elevator didn’t work and I was on the 3rd floor

Propre et confortable

Rien

Lobby and hallways were unclean

Not very clean

Nothing

Will not refund my money after cancelling my stay due to a flood one day before check in. No phone call, just an email.

How close everything is

How I only wanted to stay here for the pool and paid for a POOL for it to be broken and ruin my kids whole vacation.

Pool, location and great breakfast

The floors in our bathroom were not very clean and sticky. Seemed like there was pee on the floor. Dissapointing. Usually the bathroom is very clean. The toilet clogged unusually easily and the fire alarm in our room was missing the top. So we didnt really feel safe.

Bien situé Personnel accueillant. Lieu propre et petit déjeuner très bon.

La chambre était un étroite

the breakfast was excellent we were in moncton location and the people doing the breakfast were super freindly
