Restaurant à côté de l’hôtel était complet alors avons dû se déplacer après une longue journée sur le traversier de cap aux Meules à Souris et après six heures de route en auto

Clean and very well kept. Bathroom and shower was big. Great location. Breakfast was great too.

The hotel is bright, clean and welcoming the moment you enter. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk clerk was very friendly. There is an easily accessible elevator just off the lobby. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was huge (handicapped accessible). The beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast is in a separate area just off the lobby. The area is very bright and open. You cannot take your breakfast to your room - not an issue for us. The hot food is eggs and sausage. I loved the coffee machine. It had more than regular coffee. I had a mochaccino. There is on-site parking.

The onsite parking is a bit tight for space, but manageable. I think they have paid parking for non-guests. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel (cannot remember the name). It was extremely disappointing. There was one table occupied when we walked in. The bartender was chatting with friends at bar in the back. He looked at us like we were disturbing him. We could hear people laughing in the kitchen. We were seated and given menus and told someone would be with us shortly. We sat there watching the bartender pretending to be Tom Cruise in Cocktail, flipping his shaker and doing tricks. The sound of clinking glass was rather loud and annoying. We sat for over 5 minutes listening to the party that was happening in the kitchen and nobody came to our table. We finally got up and left.

L’heure du petit déjeuner pourrait être jusqu’à 10 -10 h 30 tous les jours. Les omelettes et les œufs brouillés sont trop gras, trop salés et trop cuits.

Spacious room

The bed was way too soft for me. The air vent in the bathroom was very dusty and the temperature was hard to control. Suddenly at night, cool air was coming out instead of heat.

Il y a avait des morceaux de papier dans le corridor à notre arrivée, ils y étaient toujours à notre départ. Des fils d’araignées pris dans la penture intérieure de la porte de notre chambre. Le pire … un jeune qui travaillait à l’accueil dormait la tête sur le bureau . Oufff ! Pas fort ça !

Spacious room. No in room coffee/tea cooking, but coffee/tea was available in the lobby. We selected Bathurst for overnight stay at it was close enough for visiting Village Historique Acadien

Our room was located under the washing machines for the hotel guest - quite a source of noise.

bei unserer Ankunft wurde die booking Reservierung nicht gefunden. Wir mussten direkt über das Hotel buchen. Ich habe beim check-in und beim check-out gefragt, ob noch weitere Buchungen ausstehend seien, es wurde mir versichert, dass dem nicht to sei. Prompt wurde meine Kreditkarte doppelt belastet. Ich habe mehrmals an das Hotel geschrieben, teilweise ohne Antwort, dann hat man mich in einem Zweizeiler vertröstet aber erklärt oder entschuldigt hat sich niemand. Als nach einem Monat immer noch nichts passiert war, habe ich angerufen und wurde wieder vertröstet. Wieder ist nichts passiert. Nach weitern Tagen und Anrufen wurde ich mit der Hotelmanagerin verbunden. Ich habe ihr mein Anliegen freundlich erklärt und sie ist mir ständig ins Wort gefallen in einer absolut unverschämten Art, ob ich wohl nicht endlich verstehen würde, dass sie das nicht interessiere. So etwas habe ich in einem Dienstleitungsbetrieb noch nie erlebt. Ich bin immer noch schockiert über dieses Verhalten. Vom Hotel gab es keine Rückerstattung, auch nicht, als sich booking dafür eingesetzt hat.

Il n’y avait pas de savon et aucun shampoing dans le bain, siège de toilette défectueux, mal vissé, Bruit très fort lorsque l’air climatisé fonctionnait, aucun papier mouchoirs, (la boîte était vide)…

Sehr schönes, komfortabel und großzügig eingerichtetes Zimmer, sehr sauber. Großes Badezimmer, leider nur mit Badewanne. Gute Lage mitten in der Stadt. Freundliches Personal.

Die Auswahl und die Qualität beim Frühstück überzeugen leider für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht. Einfache Produkte und nur wenig Auswahl. Es gibt ausschließlich Pappteller und -becher. Das Frühstück wikt eher wie in einem Hostel, zumindest wenn man europäische Standards gewohnt ist.

Pas de cafetière dans les chambres des étages , alors que dans le descriptif de la chambre cela est mentionné, et climatisation dans les parties communes trop froide. De plus les personnes à la réception pas très chaleureuses. Dommage.

La propreté des lieux et l'emplacement

Le déjeuner est bien fait ils ne manquaient de rien et le service pour emplir les plats était rapide, bien apprécié. Nous avons bien aimé qu'il y est un restaurant de rattaché, arriver tard pas besoin de chercher en ville , Chambre très propre et confortable.

Avoir le reçu au paiement de la chambre et non sous la porte durant la nuit, drôle de façon de faire.

Nous étions au premier étage et nous avons entendu beaucoup de bruit en provenance de l’étage supérieur. Le lit était très moelleux, beaucoup trop pour nous.

Le tapis dans la chambre est dégueulasse. Le mobilier est très vieux. Le cuir de la chaise est déchirée et vieux. Je n'ai pas pu m'asseoir dessus. J'ai trouvé un ongle artificiel sur le plancher.

It was clean and exactly what you would expect from a Best Western.

I’m not sure where the “plus” was. Breakfast was plentiful but of poor quality. The place is very tired. I’m pretty sure the easy chair in our room has been there since opening day.

Located in the very center of Bathurst. Breakfasts are good unless there is too many people, then you might find not too much to eat. The swimming pool looks not that big at the first glance, but my kids loved it.

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour dans cet hôtel! Le confort, la propreté et l'emplacement : tout était impeccable. Nous y avons passé un séjour des plus agréables. Petit coup de cœur également pour la promenade Waterfront, où l'on peut monter dans une tour d'observation offrant une belle vue sur la ville. On y trouve aussi une excellente crèmerie, parfaite pour une petite gâterie. Et surtout… surtout… surtout : **Monty's Pretzelria**! Ce petit comptoir est un véritable incontournable. Les employés sont d'une grande gentillesse et les bretzels sont tout simplement les meilleurs que nous ayons mangés. Un arrêt à ne surtout pas manquer si vous passez par Bathurst!

Le petit-dejeuner pourrait être légèrement repensé et amélioré.

After driving 600 km to this location, we arrive to be told they cancelled the reservations two hours ago. No assistance in acquiring elsewhere in town. Found out they have understaffed room cleaners. Would avoid this hotel chain

Petit déjeuner était très bien.

Télévision very outdated. Few channels and only about news which are depressing! Unable to use movie apps because of old TV. Because it was a rainy day, old tv was very disappointing! Definitely need an improvement!

Location-close to waterfront. Spacious brightly lit bathroom with good ventilation. Hot breakfast.

No proper greeting from receptionist upon arrival, sour “Hi”. No coffee maker and glasses (but ice bucket is in place) in the room.

Chambre propre et bien équipée avec un réfrigérateur et un micro-ondes. Lits confortables. Petit déjeuner basic mais ça dépanne.

Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre. Il a fait 16° toute la nuit. Impossible de parler avec la personne à l'accueil. Nous ne parlions pas la même langue.

Location: located right on main street it give a central location to the downtown area with easy access to shops and restaurants. The pool area was small but clean and done the propose of occupancy children.

The very unmaintained parking lot, I understand what a Canadian winter is like but for safety reasons the parking lot shouldn’t be looking like a hockey rink. There was about 8-10 inches of ice built up over the entire area which made walking to and from our vehicle very dangerous. Also very rutted due to allowing the parking lot to melt not removing the melt and allowing it to refreeze.

Breakfast was done at 10 AM. So we missed it as we needed to catch up on sleep. I would've liked for it to be available until 11AM. So we had to go out and pay for breakfast elsewhere. I would've prefered to enjoy my free breakfast

Le personnel a l'accueil, pas bilingue. On arrivait pas trop a se faire comprendre. J'ai été débité doublement, lors de ma réservation en ligne et j'ai encore payé à l'accueil. Je ne comprends pas.

I used to stay at the Atlantic Host but last few visits the rooms were not kept up to any standard. I gave them two chances before seeking alternatives. This trip I stayed at the Best Western and was greeted warmly. So refreshing after a long 14 hour drive. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast was available in the morning and the restaurant attached (the District) provided a mouth watering menu. The food was delectable. My outstanding impression was solely contributed by the night desk attendant, Josh. He was absolutely attentive, recognized my apprehension of attending a new location in an unfamiliar territory. He was so reassuring that any issue I should call down and he would be there, no worries. He assured me he would watch my car, which was parked out front. He was so pleasant and mornings were always greeted with a warm smile and “how was you day yesterday?” Best Western, you had better invest in this young lad. He is a gem and you have him in the palm of your hand. I will return to your clean, friendly facility in the future and definitely look forward to seeing Josh again. He made my visit to the Best Western so enjoyable and comforting. Thank you Linda

Easy to find. Downtown, close to restaurants and microbreweries. Ample parking. Minutes away from most everything. Quiet and comfortable. Recommended!

Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and very clean. Our dinner at District Burgers and Cocktails in the hotel was lovely. Very nicely presented and delicious. Our server, Xavier, added to our positive experience. He was pleasant and conversed with us about the area and summer events at the Quai. He deserved a rating of 10.

The breakfast (available 7:00 - 10:00) was very lacking. We arrived in the bkfst room about 9:20. There were no scrambled eggs and only two cold cheese omelets, two pieces of cold sausage, lots of cold ham, four English muffins, no other bread option, hardly any cereal, a couple of overripe bananas and a couple of apples. There was plenty of yogurt. The waffle maker was out of service, the orange juice dispenser dispensed water. Other patrons, who arrived after we did, approached the staff but nothing was replenished. Not our idea of "breakfast included".
