Tento hotel je přesně to, co k pohodové dovolené potřebujeme. Vše na jednom místě, slušná cena, dobré vztahy s majiteli, prostě pohoda! Příští rok pojedeme znovu.

Trochu, asi dvakrát, rušila hlasitá muzika ze sousedního hotelu. Řvali tam až do tří do rána.

Zimmer sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.

It was in an excellent location. The host and the staff were really polite and kind. The beach and the pool area were great! The view from the room was also very beautiful. The mattress was comfortable.

Our room was a little bit outdated, old furniture with old appliances. We had absolutely no toiletries provided, the towels weren't changed at all and cleaning consisted only of changing the garbage bag.

L’emplacement est vraiment top et l’hôtel est très calme ! Proximité immédiate de la plage, commerces et restaurants à quelques minutes à pieds sans en avoir les nuisances. Accueil du responsable à 23:30 avec 2 bouteilles d’eau (certains en France devraient peut-être prendre exemple…). Plage super propre et eau cristalline, du bonheur !

Lage direkt am öffentlichen Strand, wo die bequemen Liegen und Schirm von der örtlichen Strandverwaltung um 10€ pro Tag gemietet werden können. Am hoteleigenen Pool sind diese inkludiert. Alles sehr familiär geführt. Es gibt im gesamten Bereich, auch im Zimmer WLAN, ausreichend stark auch für Netflix am Handy. Zimmer im EG haben eine schöne große Terrasse und eine tolle Aussicht. Klimaanlage kann jederzeit individuell betrieben werden. Gekocht wird bis 18.00 Uhr, in der Umgebung gibt es genügend Restaurantauswahl, eine Konditorei bzw. Bäcker, kleiner Supermarket, etc. Für paar Tage würde ich gerne wieder kommen.

Manche jungen Hotelgäste können beim Heimkommen von der Partymeile zeitig in der Früh ganz schön laut sein, aber meist ist dann bis Nachmittag absolute Ruhe :-) und das ist fast in allen Hotels in Malia...;-)

The family owned hotel exceeded my expectations and was certainly an amazing value for money. In particular, the location of the hotel was perfect due to it being on the beach and near the strip but still very quiet and enjoyable to stay in. Additionally, the fact that the hotel was family owned gave it a homely vibe and the staff were amazing in helping with anything you need!

There are very few things I can complain about due to the fact that this hotel is a great value for money.

Я відпочивала у багатьох готелях в Малії, але LaPlaya підкорив мене своєю атмосферою і комфортом. Шикарні світанки та закати. Персонал дуже привітний, власник готелю щоденно контролює та цікавиться чи все вам подобається. Кімнати прибирали майже щоденно і за 7 днів нам три рази змінили постільну білизну, хоча нам вистачило б і одного разу). Дуже комфортні ліжка. В номері було все необхідне для приготування їжі. У готеля є великий паркінг, чистий басейн з ліжаками. Доречі, на пляжі LaPlaya також дуже комфортні ліжаки з товстими матрасами і вартість найнижча на усьому узбережжі Малії, лише 10 євро за два ліжака. Розташування готелю також дуже зручне, навкруги тиша і ніщо не заважає спати вночі. До центральної вулиці з клубами пішки приблизно 10 хвилин. LaPlaya місце куди хочеться повертатись і ми обовʼязково це зробимо. Щіро дякуємо❣️

Nice beach and view

Dirty dishes, massively stinking drains, warm water is rarely, sheets and towels stained. Dirty walls and curtains. I got yelled at for reporting the broken bathroom door at the pool in front of my toddler (and being pregnant). Would not recommend this place. I have no idea how they got all these good ratings. Go spend your money elsewhere

Все було чудово! Вид з тераси гарний, пляж чистий, немає каміння в морі, можна спокійно відпочивати. До центру міста йти 7-8 хвилин. На території можна смачно і не дорого поїсти.

Sehr nah am Strand schöner Pool gute Lage

De locatie is geweldig, fijn zwembad, direct aan het strand en voldoende mooie ligbedden bij zwembad en strand. Hele vriendelijke mensen en lekker eten en drinken bij de beachbar!

Het appartement is prima. Geen luxe maar prima. Om de dag schone handdoeken en elke dag werd de prullenbakjes geleegd. Dus dat is top. Wij waren 12 dagen en wat wel jammer is dat we geen enkele keer schoon bedlinnen hebben gehad. Verder ontbrak een bezem of iets dergelijks om eens het zand van het strand weg te vegen in het appartement. Maar dat is het dan ook. Verder top!

Schönes familiär geführtes Hotel, ausgezeichnete Lage, wunderschöner Pool. Sehr freundliches Personal

La posizione direttamente sul mare con una bella piscina e una con idromassaggio. La vista anche era molto bella.

La camera era un po'buia e il bagno molto piccolo. Non c'era acqua calda.

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem ist man fußläufig schnell im Geschehen. Bars, Restaurants, Supermärkte und Autovermietungen in der Nähe. Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss mit Terrasse direkt am Pool mit Blick auf das Meer - besser geht es nicht! Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und gaben uns auch Tipps für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen. Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt.

Wenn man etwas kritisieren möchte dann die fehlenden Ablage Möglichkeiten im Bad sowie keinen vorhandenen Föhn. Das Mobilar ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

We liked the location of the hotel, also the view and access to the pool through the balcony door. The location was superb and we were surprised by the renewed bathroom. Also the cat was very cuddly. :)

A few more kitchen appliances would make our stay even better. More knives and a cutting board for example. We also expected there to be some cleaning cleaning supplies (a sponge, detergent...), and some essential ingredients for cooking (salt, pepper, oil...).

La posizione era ottima, avevamo il balcone affacciato alla piscina e al mare. Lo staff era molto accogliente.

Purtroppo devo lamentarmi sulla pulizia perché la stanza era sporca, c’era la polvere e le asciugamani erano sporche. C’era sempre puzza di muffa e scarico soprattutto in bagno. Inoltre dalle foto la stanza sembrava molto più grande.

Für eine Gruppe von 5 Leuten war die Wohneinheit zu klein. 1 Zimmer konnte nicht klimatisiert werden da die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer ist. Grundsätzlich war es für unseren Trip ausreichend. Dass das Zimmer und Bad sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Im Laplaya Beach Hotel wird Gastfreundschaft groß geschrieben. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und die Wünsche wurden von unseren Augen abgelesen. Die Zimmer waren super sauber. Das Strandabteil einfach nur schön und die Liegen super gemütlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Balcon avec vue sur mer. Accès facile à la piscine et à la plage. Parking gratuit. Restaurants assez variés à proximité.

Kitchenette minimaliste, quasi inexploitable car très mal équipée. Le système d'eau chaude est visiblement sous-dimensionné pour l'hôtel (pas d'eau chaude en soirée, ni le matin). Pas d'espace dans la salle de bain pour poser ses affaires de toilette (pas de tablette). Chambres mal insonorisées, votre tranquillité dépendra de discrétion (ou non) de vos voisins.

L’hôtel, la situation au calme et au bord de la mer. Le personnel super sympathique.

The hotel delivered what made us choose it: location right in front of the beach, pool, nearby a broad offer of restaurants and other commodities. We were also positively impress by the service minded personnel. However, the cleaning was poor. The floor was often full of sand and dust were never cleaned from the surfaces.

Freundliches Personal. Tolle Lage. Direkt am Meer, fussläufig alles super zu erreichen. Hier und das braucht es aber dringend Instandhaltung. Auch ein wenig sauberer hätte es unterm Bett sein können. Mobiliar schon sehr veraltet. Dennoch, wir würden wieder kommen.

Top Lage. Direkt am Strand und man erreicht Tavernas und Shops in wenigen Gehminuten. Das Personal ist freundlich und lustig. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und mit dem notwendigsten ausgestattet. Der Pool ist sauber und die Anlage ist gepflegt. Der Strand ist sauber und schön.

Die Temperatur der Dusche ist nicht regulierbar, es wechselt zwischen Kalt und Heiß. Meiner Tochter wurde aus Versehen das T-Shirt mit der Bettwäsche mitgenommen. Leider war niemand sehr bemüht es zu finden, oder es uns zu ersetzten. Sehr schade.

De locatie direct aan strand, zwembad perfect, mooi opgezet. Vriendelijk personeel, service prima. Heerlijk om te verblijven en op loopafstand van de Oldtown. Appartement, heerlijk ruim opgezet, balkon met uitzicht op zee.

Hotel am Strand, hat auch ein eigenes Schwimmbecken, Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon und brieten Ausblick aufs Meer, Das Hotel ist vom einfachen Qualität, aber hat alles was man braucht: sehr breites Zimmer, Esstisch auf dem Balkon, Küchennische mit Essbesteck, Kühlschrank, Kochplatte, Kanne. Es wird von einer Familie betrieben. Es gibt auch eine Snackbar. Die ganze Zeit gibts jemand der dirt anwesend ist, Sehr net und hilfsbereit, Die Bar bietet verschiedene Getränke und Gerichte zu sehr normalen Preisen, In 300 m sind verschiedene Läden und Kaffees zu finden.

Die Beschilderung zum Hotel ist nicht gut. Das Hotel befindet sich am Ende einer Sackgasse, hinter paar andere Hotele und Parkplätzen, Es hat auch einen eigenen Parkplatz, Der Weg, Pfad zur Rezeption liegt am Ende diesen Parkplatzes. Wir konnten den Weg nicht sehen, die dort eingeparkte Wagen machten ihn unsichtbar, Ich habe dem Eigentümer gesagt, er kann einen Pfeil an der Wand aufhengen wo ist die Rezeption zu findet,

La pulizia non è il loro forte. La musica greca in piscina era sempre a volume molto alto.

L’emplacement , chambre vue sur mer magnifique, place en face de l’établissement, personnel très gentil , nous ont ajouté un matelas 1 personne pour ma fille de 12 ans car le depliable impossible pour un enfant de 4 ans …..

Chambre communicante pas top pour un couple et 3 ados …… la vétusté de l’établissement et la piscine avec beaucoup de sables , il faudrait des douches juste avant de rentrer , fermeture du resto à 18 h , Ps pratique du tout , , kitchenette très rudimentaire…..

Beste Lage - die Anlage mit nettem Poolbereich liegt direkt vor einem wunderschönen Strand. Das Apartment war für uns als Familie ausreichend und sehr nett - alles in allem SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT :-)

Tatsächlich "Kleinigkeiten": Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Meerblick, allerdings leider keine Schattenmöglichkeit am Balkon (die meisten der Meerblick-Balkons liegen allerdings unter Tags im Schatten). Die Küchenutensilien sowie teilweise vorhandenen Küchengeräte würden einen Austausch vertragen :-)

Die Lage direkt am Strand war genial, auch die Besitzer & das Personal waren sehr höflich und haben versucht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Leider waren unsere Zimmer garnicht wie auf den Bildern. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein und auch sehr heruntergekommen. Es wurde zwar jeden Tag geputzt aber trotzdem nicht sehr sauber.

The only issue was I couldn’t use the aircon. Because it smelt of mold when I turned it on - the smell was awful so I didn’t use it I tried to clean it with wipes I bought and it was full of black. This needs to be cleaned professionally. However as it was located next to the sea I moved the bed near the patio and slept with the doors open I was on the third floor so it was ok

Spiaggia di sabbia molto bella, con possibilità noleggio set ombrelloni/sdraio a 7 euro. Mare con fondale basso, ma mosso anche se con onde lunghe che hanno permesso al mio bambino di 3 anni di fare il bagno. Vista dalla camera spettacolare sul mare e sulla costa. Maria e suo fratello, sempre molto gentili e disponibili ad ogni richiesta.

Niente. Solo due consigli: 1- mettere le persiane o delle tende più scure 2- mettere le zanzariere anche nelle finestre che hanno il sensore per l'aria condizionata, così che si possa lasciare aperta di notte per godere della brezza.

Posizione buonissima per andare a piedi alla città vecchia, spiaggia di fronte agli alloggio, parcheggio in loco. Personale gentile, cucina aperta dalle 9.00 alle 18.00. La signora Maria parla bene l'italiano ed è una persona cordiale e gentile, bravissima in cucina e molto accoglientem

I return to this property every summer. The owner is my friend and quite nice. The hotel is located directly at the west end of Malia beach. The location is a little far from Malia center so it's relatively quiet. There is a small nice pool between the beach and the property. The room is specious and has a useful kitchen. You can dry washed underwear on the cloth hanger outside. The beauty of sunrise on the horizon of the ocean viewed from this property is unparalleled and stunning. It is not a bargain hotel any more but it is not a bad choice in busy Malia.

The plumbing has always been the problem with this hotel. But in the past few years they have renovated and improved bath rooms. My room's plumbing was also renovated, but the toilet bowl still had minor leak. This used to be a quite reasonable bargain hotel, but with renovation and inflation, it is not cheap any more. I hope they won't raise the price any higher.

Everything was very convenient: Hotel, pool, cafe and sea front all within metres of each other. Atmosphere was great: very relaxed, family feel, staff were very welcoming.

Could have cleaned under the beds (was dusty) but that is a minor thing. A toaster would be a handy addition to the room.

Amazing pool and beach area! restaurant has yummy food which is very well priced. Staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms were perfect and had everything you need. We would 100% recommend to anyone and will definitely return.

The beach, the view, the pool and the staff were all excellent. Clean room and clean towels every other day. Tasty food, good selection of drinks and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. The fact it is family run makes such a difference because they genuinely care. Would definitely stay again!

Small complaint regarding the shower head wall holder. Bit flimsy and cheap :-( The water pressure was excellent but the wall holder couldn't hold the shower head at full pressure so would fly off and spray water all over the shower room. Apart from that it was excellent.

Amazing hosts.

Die schlimmste Unterkunft, die wir als Familie je gebucht haben. Von übelstem Schimmelgeruch, schmutziger Bettwäsche und Geschirr. Unterirdisch was hier für den Preis und angeblich Superior Appartement geboten wurde, Bilder entsprechen nicht der Realität! Wenn ihr es doch ausprobieren möchtet definitiv ohne Vorauszahlung, wir sind nach 1 Nacht ausgecheckt und haben keinen Cent wiederbekommen, da der Hotelier nichts von den Mängeln wissen wollte und hat alles auf Expedia geschoben. Expedia beruft sich hier auf nonrefundable Rate des Hotels und kann absolut nicht weiterhelfen. Pure Enttäuschung!!!!

The beach was beautiful and so was the pool area.

It was very dirty. Yellow stains on the wall in the bathrooms. Dust in all corners and stains on linen and towels. You could see that it had been washed, but I can't dry myself with a towel with red spots on it. All the facilities are pretty worn out. We left after one night instead of 4 nights. Some work on the place and they have a pearl. And maybe a owner that is still nice even though we say what is wrong. We didn't even ask for a refund, we just said why we were leaving.

Kind and helpfull owner and staff, great view (room 304)

This self catering hotel suited us perfectly as it had a great pool which was not busy and it was only a few steps down onto the sandy beach. The towels in the room were changed daily (if we wanted them to be changed) and beds made etc. It is not the 4 star facility that some people would want, but if you do not want all the bells and whistles and just want a lovely family run self catering hotel in the best location then you cannot beat this one.

The location was perfect, the room had everything we needed, even a balcony with a stunning view. The people were so kind an welcoming! There's a pool, a restaurant with delicious food and drinks. We really enjoyed everything! :)

Location is fab, sea view is amazing. We asked for another bed as my mum is elderly and needed more space and sharing was uncomfortable for her due to joint pain . We went out the first day and returned to a second bed in the room. Amazing service from the hotel went above and beyond
