The rooms need upgrading. The carpet had several stains on it, no air conditioning and smelt of humidity. You pay this price for it being on the island not the quality of the property.

No me gustó que todo estaba manchado, el suelo, la tapicería de los sillones de la zonas comunes, cuando hemos llegado al comedor para el desayuno (que estaba ya en la mesa) esperando a coger vaso para poner agua( los vasos boca abajo encima de una bayeta)me he fijado en el suelo de la entrada de la cocina que estaba muy sucio y había unos papelitos debajo de la nevera, luego me fijé ya que no estaba tampoco muy limpio el comedor, casi no tocamos el desayuno, la habitación huele a moho,no recomiendo

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Ottima posizione, in fondo alla via principale dell’isola e vicina alla partenza per il trekking del monte Misen. Cena e colazione abbondante e varia, comprensiva di piatti locali. Stanza con futon, comodo vasca, wc e lavandino separati.
Il futon devi prepararlo da solo, ti mettono a disposizione tutto nell’armadio ma per la cifra pagata sarebbe stato meglio avere il servizio in cui ti preparano i letti.

The kaiseki dinner was overpriced and disappointing. We were put in overflow room and not in the ground floor dining room so the atmosphere was not good. We requested to eat breakfast in the real Dining room for the rest of the stay and that was better.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026¡La vista desde la habitación era bellísima! Una habitación muy amplia y agradable, las camas cómodas, el baño de buen tamaño. El desayuno delicioso, además veíamos a los venados a través de la ventana del restaurante. Todos muy amables y cálidos. En la recepción identificaron que a mi adolescente le gustaba un videojuego platicaron al respecto, nos sentimos bienvenidos. El shuttle desde y hacia la estación también excelente. Fue una estancia muy grata.
Hay área de fumadores y nos quedó justo frente a la habitación. En la habitación no se sentía el olor, afortunadamente, pero del elevador a la habitación sí. Fuera de eso: todo fue perfecto.

Abbiamo prenotato la mezza pensione con cena tipica e colazione. La colazione ci è piaciuta molto, la cena un po' meno, più che altro avevamo ancora fame, mio figlio 14enne è andato poi nello shop dell' hotel a prendere delle patatine

部屋でお酒を飲むとき用に、氷の販売もあったらうれしかったなあと思いました。

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026部屋の広さと周辺の環境。宿泊施設が異常に高額な宮島に有って大変お得。試行錯誤して一生懸命運営しているようです。
国民宿舎なのでサービスは引き算だったとしても、清掃面で課題があると思います。清掃した人もですが、それをチェックする機能が脆弱。これまで宿泊客から指摘されたことを紙面に記し、日々のルーティンにして、必ずダブルチェックする。至らない事を至らない、駄目だと感じられない人がチェックしない事ですね。大浴場の椅子、洗面器に黒カビが生えていました。黒カビは1日や2日では生えません。何日清掃していないのかな?そのカビを見ても何とも思わない感覚がおかしいのです。

Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux, bien que nous n'ayons pas pu choisir entre un petit déjeuner japonais ou européen, on nous a assigné directement le petit déjeuner européen.
L'hôtel est situé directement en face de l'aquarium, et en ayant pris la chambre "vue mer" on a plutôt une "vue aquarium" avec en plus de cela les bruits des otaries ou phoques le soir. L'hôtel est plutôt vieux, avec de vieux équipements dans la chambre, des taches aux murs. Pour le prix que nous avons payé nous nous attendions à un meilleur confort et de meilleurs équipements.

The entire experience was disappointing, particularly the dinner I had been looking forward to. The food was bland and tasteless, and no one explained how to prepare the dishes provided. Given the price, I expected the meal to be cooked for us. It is significantly overpriced for what is offered and simply not worth the money for a one-night stay.

施設全体が古い感じです。布団でなくベッドマット？薄いし。。。 特にエアコンが部屋ごとに調整できず、通常より暑い日だったのですが、暖房しか使えない状態でした。快適ではない中で過ごすしかないのは残念でした。 朝食は洋食をチョイスしましたが、ショボすぎました。パン食の洋食なのに、ご飯とみそ汁がおかわり自由なのが謎ですが、それを食べないとお腹空いちゃう。。。

Un peu defraichi et tarif un peu élevé pour le Japon mais pas pour Miyajima qui est plus chère que d'autres endroits au Japon.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Really lovely hotel in great peaceful location on Miyajima. We were picked up by the hotel from the ferry terminal which worked well. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. We had the hotel dinner and breakfast which were great experiences. Lots of fresh fish and seafood! We didn’t use the onsen but there was one in the hotel and we had access to this. Good value for money.
It was a little dated but clean and very comfortable.

Otherwise easy walking to all the main attractions. Very Japanese fare for set dinner - mostly pretty tasty but a few things just not for me. There was certainly plenty of food. Similarly for breakfast.

Reviewed Apr 16, 2026Buona sistemazione in generale per il suo genere. Navetta da e per il terminal traghetti ogni mezz'ora nelle ore di punta (ma va prenotata perché si può riempire in fretta), ad ogni modo in 20 minuti di camminata veloce ci si arriva a piedi.
Cibo. Abbiamo optato per la cena Kaiseki ma è stata la peggiore di 3 cene Kaiseki. Le cameriere avevano fretta e non spiegavano come preparare cibo che andava cotto in stile shabu shabu ma è da conoscere. Colazione, quella meno buona e meno varia fra gli hotel in cui abbiamo avuto la colazione. Queste strutture non prevedono il letto fisso in camera, quando si vuole dormire ce lo si deve fare da sé.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026It was in the middle of nature. The view was perfect and you could see the lights in Hiroshima while looking at the ferry lighted too. It was very nice and traditional. There were sakuras and deers surrounding us.
Everything was amazing.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Hotel buono in posizione tranquilla ma a due passi dalla zona "turistica". Camera ampia con futon stile ryokan, personale cortese, ottimo il servizio navetta incluso dal terminal del ferry.

We booked a traditional roken room which was very basic and tired looking. The breakfast was very traditional and not really to my liking. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the main area, be warned, if you choose not to eat at the hotel all restaurants close at 5pm. We had to walk back to the ferry terminal to the only hotel on the island that had a very small restaurant open. I would suggest eating at the hotel but you need to prebook. My son and his fiance used the public bath and said it was lovely. It’s single sexed and they were the only one’s using it which was a bonus.
