Dormir sur un futon est compliqué lorsqu’on a des problèmes de dos. Heureusement nous avons pu en trouver plusieurs dans les placards et ainsi les superposer

TODO. Simplemente increíble. Si bien es cierto que es algo caro, el trato es maravilloso. Ubicación perfecta con vistas al Torii. La cena que incluye está muy buena. Ofrecen servicio de transfer al ferry, si dejas las maletas en un locker en la estación van a recogerlas por ti.

Hay que tener en cuenta que se duerme sobre tatami y puede ser incómodo si no vas preparado. El desayuno occidental un poco flojo para el nivel esperado.

Todo, tuvimos la mejor experiencia en este Ryokan. Desde el primer momento se sintió como una gran experiencia, nos recogieron de la estación del ferri, nos proporcionaron con todo lo necesario para nuestra estancia. Los alimentos fueron increíbles y la atención del personal, lo mejor. Definitivamente recomendaría este hospedaje a cualquier persona.

Sehr schöne Aussicht auf das Torii und die kleine Pagode. Zimmer ist sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet, viel Platz. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und authentisch, schöner Onsen und privater Aussen-Onsen. Das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich, man wird an der Fähre abgeholt.

bellissima vista sul santuario. Lo staff conosce abbastanza bene l'inglese per cui non è difficile capirsi. la stanza per 4-6 persone è molto spaziosa, il bagno molto grande. la vasca termale esterna è molto confortevole.

Non ci aspettavamo che la struttura fosse in cima ad una ripida salita, per cui si ricorda alla struttura di sottolineare il servizio di pick-up sottolineando la posizione dell'hotel in posizione elevata.

Établissement magnifique. Chambre avec vue sur la mer et le temple. Le personnel était prévenant nous on accompagné pour tirer le meilleur parti du séjour.

Les fenêtres de chambre securit avec des maillages métalliques qui gâchent un peu la vue sur la baie.

Tutto stupendo davvero, dalla camera tradizionale con i futon al cibo, alla vista. Abbiamo indossato lo yukata, prenotato l'onsen privato e cenato divinamente. Lo staff è gentilissimo e ci ha spiegato ogni piatto della cena tradizionale così come tutti gli altri aspetti del nostro soggiorno. Anche la colazione tradizionale ci è piaciuta molto e nostro figlio ha potuto invece scegliere quella all'occidentale con pane, marmellata ecc... L'isola è meravigliosa e dalla nostra camera potevamo vedere il mare con il torii. Stare qui ci ha permesso di visitare anche il tempio Daisho-in con le statue jizo dal capellino rosso e che si trova a pochi passi dal ryokan. È molto vicino anche al santuario di Itsukushima e quindi un po' distante dal porto ma volendo ci sono le navette. Un'esperienza unica da provare assolutamente!

It was a lovely place to stay for the night in Miyajima and experience the island at night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The Japanese style dinner and breakfast were phenomenal and very beautifully presented. Our daughter’s dietary required no meat was accommodated with no problem at all. A real experience of a traditional ryokan with the ease of modern life.

Vakre, rene rom med fantastisk utsikt. Svært vennlig og hjelpsomt personale. Anbefaler å velge varianten med inkludert måltid. Vi fikk en uforglemmelig middag! Tip: Stå opp tidlig og utforsk øya og helligdommene i fred og ro.

I love the traditional Japanese feel to the Inn. It was super clean and the staff were great! Our room had such a beautiful view of the floating torri gate and mountainside. I highly recommend staying here!

Il posto fantastico. Accoglienza e servizio alto livello. Abbiamo prenotato la stanza con vista mare ed è andata oltre qualsiasi aspettativa. Meravigliosa la vista sul torii e sulla pagota. La stanza bella e tradizionale. C'è anche la possibilità di prenotare onsen privato per 30 minuti. Consigliata anche la mezza pensione, per provare una vera esperienza tradizionale

Personal muy amable y buenas instalaciones. Tener media hora en el onsen privado es maravilloso para poder disfrutar con tu pareja de un rato relajado. Además, la habitación tradicional fue espectacular y muy grande con unas vistas increíbles!

El hotel esta complicado para llegar por que tiene unas escaleras muy empinadas , aunque si lo dices te van a buscar desde el hotel

Le personnel de l'hôtel est adorable, serviable et compréhensif. On est venu nous chercher au port de Miyajima très rapidement et pour le lendemain, on nous y a déposés (Félicitations pour la conduite). L'accueil était très bien et la personne qui nous a accompagnés à notre chambre était très serviable. Avec un anglais tout à fait compréhensible, les explications étaient claires et pédagogiques. Les plats japonais étaient très bons et recherchés.

Onsen un peu ancien mais qui a quand même son charme

Hôtel à l’ancienne de type ryokan, très confortable, bien situé face a la baie et son fameux tori. Calme et reposant face a l’agitation touristique du lieu.

On aurait apprécié plus d’amenities, comme dans beaucoup d’autres hôtels japonais.

L’isola è bellissima e il ryokan Jukeiso ha reso tutto ancora più bello. Tutto il personale è stato gentilissimo, la posizione è ottima con una vista stupenda e a pochi minuti dal Daishō-in (bellissimo!). Le foto della stanza non le rendono giustizia, dal vivo è molto più bella! Cena e colazione buonissime (sia tradizionale, sia tradizionale-vegetariana: tutti i piatti preparati con cura e belli anche da vedere). Ottimi anche tutti gli altri servizi. Lo consiglio e spero di tornarci un giorno!

La ubicación y la amabilidad de su gente. Dejamos olvidada una lata de bebida en la habitación cuando nos fuimos y nos mandaron un mensaje para saber qué hacer con ella. Increíble!

Lo que realmente no me gustó fue tener que irme! Que las toallas de baño para usar el onsen son pequeñas! Un detalle absurdo para nuestra estadía pero me causó gracia.

The views were wonderful. And the room was darling!! The staff....oh my!!! They were AMAZING. I ASKED IF THEY HAD CHAMPAGNE, THE BELL MAN SAID THEY DID NOT. WITHIN 15 MINUTES SOMEONE WAS KNOCKING AT MY DOOR WITH A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE. THEY LITERALLY WENT SOMEWHERE AND FOUND A BOTTLE FOR ME. Over the top customer service. a+++! Oh, and we missed the shuttle so someone drove us to the ferry since it was raining. Super generous and kind.

Amazing views, helpful staff, good food and great value for money.

Loved the location, the room and the view was spectacular. The walk is beautiful from the village area to Jukeiso. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The communication before we arrived was excellent. We included dinner and breakfast (Japanese) and would highly recommend travellers do the same.

Our stay at Jukeiso in Miyajima was exceptional in a very understated and authentic way. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out for its precision and genuine attentiveness. The staff was consistently courteous, thoughtful, and accommodating, striking a balance that is increasingly rare — professional, yet warm without being intrusive. The room offered a remarkable view of the Itsukushima torii, which becomes even more special early in the morning and at dusk. It adds a quiet, contemplative dimension to the stay that is hard to replicate elsewhere. The overall condition of the property is excellent. Everything felt extremely well maintained — clean, organized, and with a level of care that reflects high standards across both the accommodation and common areas. The bathroom, in particular, was modern and impeccably kept. Dining followed the traditional ryokan style and was very well executed, with a clear focus on quality ingredients and balance. One highlight worth mentioning is the private onsen experience, which can be reserved for a 30-minute session — a thoughtful addition that enhances the overall stay. The location itself becomes especially charming in the evening, when Miyajima quiets down after the day visitors leave. Finally, the transfer service was efficient and seamless, making arrival and departure notably easy. Overall, Jukeiso delivers a level of hospitality that feels elevated, consistent, and carefully executed — a place that clearly operates at a different standard.

La chambre sentait très mauvais. Le repas n’était pas inclus pour mon fils de 5 ans et ce n’était pas précisé, alors que le séjour était très cher.

The staff were great and couldn't do enough for you to make you feel welcome and to enjoy your stay. Location is spectacular with a view of the gate, and tucked away in a quiet secluded area. Welcomed warmly with tea on arrival. Food was incredible, although many courses so make sure you don't eat a big lunch so you can appreciate it all!! Lovely relaxing environment which was thoroughly enjoyed.

Die Lage ist genial, großes Ryokan Zimmer mit Blick auf den berühmten Tori, nachts angestrahlt. Hervorragendes Abendessen, allerdings wurden zehn Gänge in 75 Minuten serviert, teilweise noch, wenn man mit dem Gang davor noch gar nicht fertig war. Wir haben die Bedienung angesprochen, ob es etwas langsamer geht, aber es war entweder von der Kommunikation schwierig oder von der Küche her.

Nachdem die Abholung von der Fähre wirklich gut geklappt hat, sollten wir um 18:30 Uhr sofort nach der Ankunft essen, konnten das dann aber nach einigen Diskussionen auf 19:00 Uhr schieben, was auch die ganze Zeit als der späteste Beginn des Abends Essens genannt wurde. Das Onsen ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es gibt weder ein Kaltwasser,-Becken noch etwas frische Luft. Wir haben das erste Mal in Japan erlebt, dass das Personal am Abend an der Rezeption und auch beim Essen Service einen etwas rauen Ton hatte. Letztendlich bezahlt man viel Geld für die fantastische Lage.

Location and views of the Tori and pagoda were incredible. The elevated location offered fantastic views of these beautiful places. The restaurant was very tasty and the meals were filling. Mini bar costs were incredibly reasonable especially for an island.

The dinner was delicious and all the staff were so helpful, cheerful and polite. The location is a bit out of town but up a hill with impressive views and walkable (without luggage).

I’m not a massive fan of futon beds but these were ok and the overall experience was very authentic throughout the entire hotel.

Il manque des petits détails pour arriver au niveau des meilleurs ryokans - l’eau du onsen trop fraîche (et pas assez d’eau) - futon un peu dur - manque des paravents dans la salle de déjeuner - un petit gâteau à l’accueil ?

The hotel is a bit further away from the main tourist areas. However, a shuttle service is available upon request—simply ask the staff at the Pier Tourist Information Centre to contact the hotel for pickup. Our room offered a great view, which was truly wonderful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and designed in a traditional Japanese style. There is also a private outdoor onsen, available by reservation. Reservations are arranged at check‑in.

The hotel is about a 10–15 minute drive from the pier. There is only one convenience store near the pier, so it is recommended to purchase your drinks and snacks before checking in. Both dinner and breakfast are served in relatively small portions, and there could be a wider variety of food choices.

We loved the friendly staff, beautiful rooms and delicious food. We would love to stay again.

במקום עצמו מהמם! חדר גדול מאוד, לא בתוך כל ההמולה אלא בצד והנוף פשוט מושלם! הצוות מדהים מההתחלה ועד הסוף, המלון הכי טוב שהיינו בו ביפן היה לנו חבל שהיה לנו רק לילה אחד ממליצים לקחת 2 לילות ולהינות מהמקום ומהאי!

The private bath has a magnifique view. We enjoyed it greatly. As well, our room was perfect, with a stunning view on the Tori. The people who welcomed us were very kind. We really appreciated our journey in Miyajima thanks to Jukeiso place.
