the Hotel fitted my requirements for a weekend away. Nice spacious room, good shower, comfortable beds and good facilities (coffee /tea, iron etc Good choice at breakfast

Gave it a "9" rather than a "10" as i felt the dining area was a little cold as the majority of it was situated near the entrance door and foyer. Food was good but perhaps a bit more choice on the menu

Reception was really poor. Paid £160 for B&B. Try to stop me having breakfast when I paid for it. Won’t be using this hotel again. Not recommended at this price !

We stay at this hotel regularly and the service and standards are always exceptional. The rooms are very comfortable and soundproof so you get a good sleep. Bedding is very comfortable, powerful showers and nice toiletries. Complimentary water in all rooms is nice touch. The reception staff are always very nice and we got a friendly welcome from Ashleigh, Sharon, Alex and Ciaron. The club lounge is really comfortable and open all day with alcohol drinks from 5-7. The canapes are ok but would be nice to have more choices as they get repetitive. Ronelda, Dylan and Amy give great service at the bar along with good banter which always makes you feel welcome. The restaurant food is so good. Weve never had a bad meal. The menu has a good choice and isnt too overpriced considering it's a 4* airport hotel. We always get excellent service from Dana. The breakfast buffet has a wide choice of items and you can order from the menu too. The staff are always really friendly especially Diane. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the airport terminal and really easy to get into the city centre by bus or taxi. There is also regular Ember coaches from the airport.

Four of us (2 rooms) stayed here last week. Handy location for early flight out the next morning. Hotel was clean, staff friendly, however... Once we came into room, we discovered that most electrical outlets and some lights were not working. We reported this to front desk. Woke early next morning, now most lights including bathroom (which has no windows) not working. Also, no hot water on our whole floor! Again, reported to front desk and manager. They came upstairs and tried to fix electrical connection, but they kept blowing! Despite many efforts, they could not fix. So, no lights, couldn't shave (no socket working) and freezing cold shower. This is not the hallmarks of a 4-star hotel. I spoke to manager at front desk, he was apologetic but would (could not) give any discount on either of our rooms. He said he couldn't as we had booked through Expedia. He asked for our email and US phone numbers and said he would " follow up and see what he could do ". We never heard from him. As very frequent travelers around the globe, we understand that things can go wrong, however premium hotels typically handle these problems professionally and in a business friendly manner. This management team (although friendly) was useless. Will not stay there again.

Excellent empathetic staff. Have very recently been diagnosed as having Coeliac Disease. Not an allergy, nor an intolerance, but an actual Autoimmune disease. Have had very positive communication from the big boss, Mr Thomson, the restaurant boss, James, but massive big shout out to Dana, restaurant, and Josh & Jim, chefs, who looked after me tonight. So reassuring that I devoured my dinner without a worry. Communication between Dana & the kitchen was exemplary. Also thank you to the lovely receptionist who guessed my name, no idea how!!!, who acknowledged my Coeliac & was very reassuring, I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name but am sure you know who she is. Next stop hopefully will be to add GF to the menus in the same way that Vegan & Vegetarians are catered for. Anyways, am away to lie down on my comfy bed in my lovely room as so full up. Thank you all xxx

Situated less than five minutes walk from Aberdeen Airport passenger terminal you couldn’t ask for a more convenient location when embarking upon an early morning flight from that airport. The location is also very convenient for the heliport, nearby training centres, and 727 bus route to and from Aberdeen city centre. In addition the room was quiet, comfortable, well equipped, and exceptionally clean.

Nothing to add here. I didn’t use the restaurant or bar during my visit so cannot comment on either of those.

The service is great, everyone is super friendly and nice. Room was comfortable, clean and very restful.

From check in to checking out the 1 night stay was painful! When I arrived to reception, instead of being welcomed with a warm smile and a “welcome to the crowne plaza” I could barely command the receptionists attention to get more than a sharp “hi” stunned I stood there for a minute expecting her to give the welcome you expect, instead just another short sharp hi. Followed by “well I need your name to check you in” The hotel itself is clean, the rooms very nice and the room service prompt. Went down for breakfast and met with the most unenthusiastic greeting, no explanation of if it was a buffet self service. Spoke to the front of desk manager who couldn’t really give two hoots, but thanked me for bringing it to his attention nonetheless. It would seem that standards at this Crowne Plaza are nothing like other Crowne Plazas I have stayed at previously. Such a shame

Noisy, poorly prepared food with lazy staff. Greeted by breakfast staff as if I was a migrant and not a paying customer- utterly useless and to add insult to injury, I am an IHG member which carries no gravitas here!

Very good stay. My flight was unexpectedly diverted to Aberdeen and no onwards travel sorted. So needed to find a hotel quickly. Booked into holiday inn but when I arrived there was a sign on the door saying to go to Crown plaza next door. Reception were so helpful and sorted me with two items I needed. Room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was also good. The staff stood out - they were all so helpful and friendly.

I really like this hotel and it’s my favourite in the airport area. All the staff throughout are brilliant and the welcome from reception is always fantastic. Some of the rooms on the top floor have amazing views over the airport and combined with the dark cosy decor are lovely spaces. Large beds, relaxing arm chair with footstool, big TV and plenty of storage makes them really comfortable rooms, even for an extended stay. Electric sockets are at both sides of the bed, there’s good lighting options and the air-conditioning works well. The bathroom is spacious enough and just as clean and modern as the main room. The walk-in shower is very large and the toiletries plentiful and decent. There was a good number of towels provided too. The breakfast was decent enough with a nice mix of hot and cold items on the buffet and fruit. The area makes a good restaurant in the evening too, with friendly staff and varied menu, plus the bar is pretty nice too. Overall it’s a nice hotel and suitable for more than just an airport stopover - I’ll be staying many more times.

Second time we have stayed here due to its proximity to the airport and P&J Live where we were attending an event. An easy walk from the airport, a longer walk to the venue but a short bus ride. Always a cheery welcome even when arriving quite early there was a room ready for us. Our room was on the second floor, quite big enough for the two of us for the few days we were staying and, as we were out most of the day. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast is mainly buffet style but with hot items that can be ordered. One of the better hotel buffet breakfasts we have had.
