The food in restaurant was over priced for what we got. Burgers over fried, small amount of chips, buns were freezing cold obv just out of fridge. Soup was a rip off small bowl for £7!!! No butter either with small chunk of bread. I don’t mind paying for food when it is nice and good value, but this wasn’t. The breakfast was ok usual selection other than the scrambled eggs which were disgusting!! Big disappointment as there was no brown sauce!!

At breakfast one of the staff looked after a baby for a young Mom while she got everything for breakfast with her 2 other young children. I have to say, it was really impressive. Lovely quiet room. Although the food was good, the large salad was not much more than a side salad and it cost £14. It was a little dated in parts and although our room was large it felt a bit sparse with furniture.

From the moment we checked in, the atmosphere felt warm and genuinely welcoming. The manager was attentive throughout our stay, always present and making sure everything ran smoothly right through to when the market ended, which didn’t go unnoticed. A special mention to the two ladies running the bar, they were absolutely brilliant. So friendly, chatty, and welcoming, they really added to the whole vibe of the night and made it even more enjoyable. And Jaynie on reception deserves her own spotlight. She was just wonderful. So kind, helpful, and an all-round lovely person who made us feel completely at ease from the start. Every single member of staff we encountered seemed genuinely happy to help, and that kind of energy makes such a difference. You can’t fake that level of care, it really made our stay memorable. Would absolutely stay again. 🌙✨
The hotel is lovely, but be aware that they use a very strong signature scent. It’s a pleasant perfume, but it’s incredibly heavy in both the lobby and the rooms. It wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but it was definitely noticeable and might be a bit much if you’re sensitive to smells.

The room was located away from the main building, in the courtyard area. There is an entrance accessible directly from the car park, which felt somewhat unsettling at night, as anyone could easily walk around the corner and enter the building.

Breakfasts didn’t look as if cooked to order- and did feel as if food had been cooked for a while. Croissants weren’t fresh. Hot water took >10 mins to get hot in handbasin but came through eventually therefore ran shower to heat up in morning.
