Reviewed Apr 28, 2026The owners are very friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. The apartments are clean and well appointed. It is right in the middle of Sumner, a short walk to the beach, restaurants, chemist and groceries - with three coffee places literally a few paces away. Laundry facilities are available, which made our 9 day stay even easier. I certainly will be back for my next CHCH visit!

Highly recommend the property based on the owners professional, kind and relaxed nature alone The owners let us leave our car in a parking spot after check out to allow us to eat breakfast and have a walk along the beach, we were so grateful for this Happy to accommodate potential late arrival with easy to follow instructions, luckily we arrived earlier than expected Room was tidy, clean and comfortable. Spacious. Good size and able to cook if required. Local restaurants in walking distance Beach in walking distance, its a lovely beach
