The staff members who assisted us was very helpful and friendly. He gave recommendations and offered a walk through the Glow Worms.

It was an older style hotel and a little tired. Advertised a fireplace in each room but they have been de-commissioned due to changes in regulations which I understand, but the advertising should be removed or painted over. There was a bit of clutter by the guest laundry and lots of weeds out the back. It needs a bit of a freshen up.

Double bed was a bit small for a larger couple. We used the spare.single however

Great location for visiting Fox Glacier.

Room was small, difficult to open suitcase. No couch. Bathroom had shower curtain which didn’t reach the floor of an open plan bathroom, so floor was always wet.

The staff were very nice and helpful. They moved us room to help keep the whole family next to each other. And we loved the glow worm walk. There was heaps of games to play as we had a rain day and got stuck inside.

Attitude of the staff, location is extremely poor avoid at all costs, there are plenty of hotels, the hero shot on booking.com of this hotel is misleading

The location wasn’t bad, the owners were very friendly and helped out with requests, very obliging.

It is very dated, with worn furnishings, however it was not clean, it was dusty, the hot water ran out, water was all over the bathroom floor after a shower (shower curtains!), poor wifi, cooking facilities were a microwave and electric frypan. There is a shared kitchen which was very poorly setup.

We really enjoyed the guided glowworm hike, local restaurant, and proximity to the lake and glacier.

The room overlooked a parking lot for campers. Rooms as mentioned by others are dated and would benefit from some upgrades.

Comfortable beds with plenty of warmth in the quality covers, great location, good to have electric frypan and microwave for cooking.

Gemütliches und großes Zimmer mit viel Holzausstattung und großen Sofas mit Ausblick auf die Nachbarschaft und den Sonnenuntergang. Das kostenlose Frühstück wurde in der Küche vorbereitet und stand zur selbstständigen Zubereitung bereit. Parken war problemlos vor der Unterkunft möglich.

中國女性主管服務人員態度糟糕。（我們有先送出免費取消訂單的請求，但被拒絕後，並沒有付費把訂單取消）即使訂單在booking.com上面顯示有效，他們仍會自行取消你的訂單，然後把房間賣出去，等你到櫃檯辦理入住，才告知房間已被賣掉，是我們不早講？沒有房間提供，原本還執意要收這筆錢，所以請小心booking上有效的訂單，還是有無法入住的可能，因為店家會自己解讀平台的意思，反正再賣出去可以賺兩倍的錢，這是他們的生意之道。 在下午七點半發現訂單被取消，旅遊旺季一房難求，希望其他人不會遇到跟我一樣的經驗。

Cosy, good fit out cabins that are well located & managed by very friendly staff; at the price point, it is great value with comfortable beds, good kitchen space and warm. Highly recommend the night time glow worm tour conducted by the site manager if it is running.

Eine großartige Unterkunft mit nettem Personal und allem was man braucht. Große Zimmer mit Whirlpool-Badewanne waren der perfekte Ausklang nach langen Wandertagen :-). Perfekter Startpunkt für verschiedene Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung. Tolle Küche, tolles Frühstück, schöner kleiner gemütlicher Ort :-). Es werden sogar Glühwürmchenausflüge abends angeboten. Vielen Dank!

Great location, plenty of parking and central location for our holiday plans. Room was clean, plenty of hot water.

Couldn’t cook during the day, very poor WiFi signal, don’t stay here if you depend on it and the phone outside if you need to speak to a staff member doesn’t work so waited around for longer than intended. Some of the breakfast cereal was stale.

Qualité du lit. Certains objets et pièces de mobilier devraient être changés en raison de leur état de propreté.

Camera grande, abbastanza pulita e calda. Camera spartana ma con tutto il necessario, dai saponi, alle creme, biscotti, caffè e latte. Staff gentilissimo. Ci hanno anche offerto un glow worm notturno. Lavanderia disponibile e si può comprare tutto il necessario lì.

Colazione un po’ povera considerando il prezzo e che bisogna poi pulire quello che si è utilizzato.

The one-bedroom studio was a good size with everything you need for an overnight stay. Bathroom was good and very clean. Went on a glow-worm walking tour in the evening which was unexpected but really good.

It was great there was a camp kitchen as also a holiday park so able to cook dinner and breakfast - but this could be better with a deep clean

Very cozy breakfast area with great hospitality. If the weather allows, free glow worms tour in the forest behind too! Very interesting and enjoyable during the stay indeed.

A bit dated accommodation but it has all that's needed. A good hot shower. The staff are friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was included, but we had to make our own. Everything was left out, and there was plenty to choose from.

Although we were on the ground floor there are steps to the entrance.

Lovely room very clean. Near places to eat in the village. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but a serve your self kitchen with tea and coffee available all day and continental breakfast in the morning. Free glow worm short walk in the evening.

We would have preferred tea/coffee facilities in our room and also a small fridge. TV not working and staff could not fix it, very poor WiFi which kept dropping out.

The check in and service was great The laundry facilities were good. We enjoyed the provided breakfast option. Also went with on a nice lodge provided guided walk to see the glow worms.

Das Appartement war auf 2 Stockwerken. Das Haus war weg von der Strasse gelegen. Das Zimmer wurde nach Bedarf täglich und gründlich geputzt. Es wurde ebenfalls ein geführter Walk zu den Glühwürmchen angeboten.

Das Appartment war eher dunkel und altmodisch eingerichtet.
