We like everything about this place, it is very near to Lake Tekapo. Had everything you need including a rice cooker!

Updated washroom and bedrooms. Good heating and location just near to the church . Good size for family of 7.

No view of the lake or mountains. Kitchen is too small. No oven.

Clean & well maintained cottage

Pluto is comprise of 3 separate cottages. 1 main cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 other bedrooms in 2 separate cottages. Would be better if all the rooms were under the same roof.

Location is key - A couple mins walk to Church of the Good Shepherd but not on the main roads. A little area tucked away on the side street providing plenty of privacy. I personally enjoyed the quiet that it brought, a contrast to a very busy work life that I have, allowing me to relax and really wind down during my stay.

This was a warm and cosy stay in a good location. The hot tub out on the front deck was fantastic!

The electric blankets didn't seem to work, there were no sharp knives to work with for self catering, some of the light fittings were inadequate, creating too bright a light. Things generally looked a bit tired and dated and could have done work some maintenance. A nice garden out the back would be a bonus as it currently looks a bit shabby.

We had a very pleasant stay in Tekapo. Unfortunately, we forgot to return the key when we left, but the host was incredibly patient, polite, and understanding throughout the whole process. Communication was easy and smooth, and we were able to return the key successfully in the end. We really appreciated the way the host handled the situation — we felt respected and understood at all times. Overall, a very positive experience, and we would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

TV had limited options and was impossible to get working. No instructions

Die Küche war sehr klein, dreckig und schlecht ausgestattet. Der Esstisch war viel zu klein und alt.

The location of the apartment was perfect. BBQ facilities was available. All essential facilities were in place. Rooms are clean and tidy.

We stay at stargazing. It is 5 minutes walk to the good shepherd church. It supply almost all we need here, except washing machine. We can easily see amazing stars at the back yard. Also, they answered the message immediately.

The power trips sometimes.

I loved the location and the layout of the cottage, the spa was such a treat.

The spa water was a little dirty. Also be good to have spare towels or atleast two sets each. One for spa and one for showers.

We were unaware that the road to Tekapo was closed on the 8th July. We tried to call the number provided but didn't get through to anyone to speak to. It was disappointing that we were not able to even get a partial refund. When we arrived the following day we had to spend quite a while digging out the snow so that we could park our car by the cottage. There was no shovel so we had to use a tiny spade we had in our car.

Location is perfect to walk and explore the area, just down from the Church. It snowed a ridiculous amount when we were there which was amazing and the host kindly came by to check on us and also have us move our car so that we weren’t snowed in the next morning- life saver! Overall we loved the cottages and would def recommend

Beds were a little hard and rooms took a while to warm up. But we were still comfortable enough

We loved our stay, it had everything that we needed, the kitchen was fully set up and was the perfect size for our family. We were kept warm the whole time! It was also the perfect distance to everything.

The road direction signage is too small and lack of signages along the route to Kinloch. Rooms are too small for 4 Adults.

It was clean, had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Quiet area. Well located. Free use of the sauna was a bonus. TV was a very decent size.

While it didn’t really impact our stay, it was confusing because on booking it says check in at 4 and check out at 11. On the link they provided it says check in at 3, check out at 10. I also didn’t like that I had to upload my ID and picture through an unknown website. Wifi was really slow despite having a good signal, which was odd.

We thought we'd booked a 2br apartment but turned out to be two adjacent 1br units with an inner door. Having two bathrooms was a bonus! The botanic setting is beautiful and the sunset views over the mountains are amazing. The area is very quiet, on the opposite side of the river to the centre of town but easily accessed via footbridge. It's a short walk to town and the centre of attraction, the Church of the Good Shepherd.

There was no lounge room where we could both sit and watch TV together. (The TVs were in the bedrooms.)

The location. It was 800 mts from The church of good shepherd. The stay was comfortable for one night.

The outdoor lights on the porch weren’t working so that caused a bit of a hassle.

The location is very quiet and nice, and very near the lake.

Unfortunately, the place needs quite a bit of work. We couldn't inform the team of the issues as we discovered them as it was already late and we were only staying there for a night. We have however provided feedback the next morning as we were checking out. In summary, 1. The oven under the stove wasn't working 2. There were broken appliances/utensils and heaters in the various rooms.

Disappointing experience, nothing as mentioned on the bio. There was no host to entertain you when needed, tried calling them but the only reply given was during the booking chat page, and that too, after a while when the problem was sorted. Over priced, old rooms and washrooms, need maintenance

We verbleven in Stargazing. Toeging via sleutel in kastje, geen personeel gezien. Ondanks dat de ruimte groot is, eigenlijk 2 aparte verblijven, was het verder erg teleurstellend. De bedden waren erg zacht. De ramen vies en de luxaflex oud/scheef en vies, de keuken niet schoon. Onvoldoende keukengerei, geen flessenopener bijvoorbeeld. Het geheel leek meer op een verbouwde caravan met veel plastic dan een gezellige cottage, erg gedateerd en tochtig. De deksel hottub lag bezaaid naalden, niet van 1 dagje. we hebben er ons maar niet aan gewaagd om daar in te gaan zitten, gezien de staat van het huisje. De prijs van ruim 200 euro per nacht was veels te veel.

お部屋がかわいい。すごく広いわけではないのに空間の使い方が上手で、広く感じた。オンスイートで他の人を起こさずにトイレに行けていい。雨が降っていたけど、森のかわいいコテージで過ごせて楽しかった。お隣さんとそれなりに離れているので、夜も音を気にせず、綺麗で静か。最低限の調味料と洗剤とかも他のNZの宿ではあんまりおいてなかったので助かった。あと、洗濯機とか乾燥機も新しくて、低騒音なの珍しい。ありがとう。

スタッフの方と一言くらい話せたらよかったなー

the signage in the instruction is outdated, better update, and with top-down map of the overall area would be great (the cabin location is a bit difficult to find)

Location of the accommodation was exceptional. Easy walking distance to Lake, Cafe's etc. Quiet location.

VERY BASIC accommodation for price of room. No hot water plumbed to basin in bathroom. Check in is 4pm. requested early check in of 2pm and was denied which was fair enough until I received an update saying I could have early check in if I paid extra $$. The room was $500 NZD for one night which I felt was excessive for the offering. There were used complimentary toiletry items in the shower cubicle which made me question if it had been cleaned properly. The room had an unpleasant smell. Lake Tekapo generally is expensive, but the price of this accommodation was in no way reflected by the reality. I'm baffled by the existing reviews on Booking.com.

A great base for exploring Tekapo! We enjoyed the fabulous night skies from the hot tub and the property was in a really nice setting, in a good location for lovely lakeside walks.

Beds in the triple room were very uncomfortable, to the point of being unusable. Our property (Birch) was also a bit dated; paint is peeling in places and shower very difficult to use. There was an issue with check in times (booking.com was showing the wrong time) but this was resolved fairly quickly.

Location was amazing and the little sitting area above the house was lovely.

Every time we drive up to our park there was a cleaning van of some description in it, the people were super quick about getting out of the way but it was annoying. There was also a lot of noise from people because we were above the cleaning station

It is within walking distance to the lake, the church and the town center. The manager was very helpful and informative. The unit we were in has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and one kitchen. Which can accommodate up to five people easily. Next time we will bring our kids. There is also dedicated parking spot.

Adequate place to stay, not fancy, but itself the purpose exactly how we wanted it.

For the price I paid, I was disappointed with the property. It was rundown and needed repairs, there wasn’t even a toilet paper roll hold in the bathroom. The shower leaked a lot, there bathroom had a terrible smell and looked as though there could be some type of mould on the roof. The location was great, quick walk to restaurants.
