The location to the WolfBrook Arena was amazing. We were there for a concert so that was fantastic. Also within a couple of kms of a decent shopping mall, coffee shops were within walking distance and just a short uber to the airport. Room was clean, tidy and perfect size with a good balcony which would have been great in summer. Staff were lovely, friendly and even though we arrived early they allowed us to check in early as our room was ready. Very accommodating.

The traffic noise was a little annoying during the night with being on a busy intersection. Not the motel's fault but I will take ear plugs next time.

The bed was comfy, the good pillow options. It is on the corner of a main thoroughfare so it could be a bit noisy but when we closed the windows, it improved a lot. Clean, spacious and meet our needs.

Our accommodation was to a very high standard, with helpful staff.

There was only 2 dinner plates and bowls to use in our room with 3 guests, this was disappointing. Motel email address was not valid.

The location for us was perfect as we had a function in cashmere and wasn't much else of offer around , as we didn't want to stay in the city center, perfect location for wolfbrook arena

Just a little bit cold in the room on arrival , but we were in an Uber pretty quicky after arriving

Very basic for the price. It was very cold. Walking on the bathroom and kitchen floor was like ice. The room did not get serviced daily. Unable to use the laundry until 3pm. The TV reception kept losing service. What you see in the photos is not what you get. Motel is run down. We were put on the side of the main road and it was very noisy.

The bed was comfortable and we were picked up by the motel from the railway station. We were dropped off there again in the morning provided we fitted in with their timeframe. It was appreciated all the same.

It was very average and basic. The shower was pitiful and there was no microwave

Great friendly staff. Room was great, clean, tidy, and even though near the road, very quiet. Fantastic for dogs aswell.

No suitable heating and room was freezing cold. One ancient panel heater that did nothing to raise the room temperature

The couch was very low and the springs weren’t in great shape - very difficult for an older person to get up from. Central bathroom light flickered & took time to come on.

The heater worked sometimes. The electric blanket didn’t work. They didn’t service the rooms at all. Had to ask for more towels on one of the days

Nice and close to wolfbrook arena.

Needs an update very dated.furniture all past use buy. Couch dining chairs bed.all need replaced. Toilet fulled up all day and night. Being so close to corner was very loud not much sleep. Need to put double glazed windows in.so don't here the traffic and the pedestrian crossing peeping all night.

The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the folder outlining the services available at the motel and also containing a range of suggestions for dining out and places to visit.

Comfortable bed, clean room

Very friendly and accommodating hosts both on arrival and also providing a timely complimentary lift to the scenic train departure station. Great facilities in the ground floor room. Great price for a city break.

Chose it for its location near to the scenic train station but quite a long way out of the city and close to a busy and noisy main road and still a fair drive to the scenic train. Otherwise all good.

No sky TV

Had to haul bags upstairs and my 85 year old mother found the stair steep. The door didn't seem to lock properly, it worked some times not all the time.

Manageress was exceptionally helpful, let us check in early. She was knowledgeable and very informative advising where to go and what to do in our time in Christchurch. She even took us to the train station at 6am free of charge. She was amazing and I can not recommend her more highly

Location was convenient for our needs and it was clean as it could be for an older style room

Being a dog friendly room it was strange that it was at the top apartment and not down stairs for easier access to the grass area and the bathroom could do with some maintenance

While my stay in Christchurch was short, I am so grateful to have found this place, and would definitely stay again if I return! It's just a 10 min. drive, or 20 minute bus ride (with the stop just down the street), to center city. Great wifi and netflix on the TVs. The rooms are private, clean, and spacious, and most of all, the owners of the motel (Nina) are exceptionally kind and responsive hosts. They are truly there to help. Nina drove me to and from the train station (free of charge), made sure I had fresh milk for coffee/tea, and when my travel plans abruptly changed, she helped me to adjust my accommodation with her last-minute. These things mean a lot to a solo traveler like me. I can't say enough good things about Nina and this place, it's not often you find such warm, helpful hosts in this industry. Highly recommend!

Quick stroll to the arena. Perfect location.

The woman stomping around upstairs and also talking/arguing on her cell phone outside our room until midnight. We were travelling early in the morning and we're all very tired
