Photos on website are accurate to what is in the rooms. Has everything you need for a stay in Arrowtown. Would definitely stay again.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Cosy little one bedroom cottage with everything you need. Two blocks from Main Street of Arrowtown and its cute pubs, bars and restaurants. We hired e-bikes on site. Owners were awesome and gave us tips on everywhere to go.

Limited hot water for showers, despite keeping to less than 5 mins long, could only run 1 or 2 at any one point of time. The bathroom had a fair bit of long, dark hair left on the floor from a previous occupier.

Unfortunately there was work being done on the property, which we understand had to be when the contractors were available. But while we home we could not hear, or think as it was right outside our windows and the vibrations were rough. Some consideration for the customers would have been appropriate.

Lots of attention to detail and the location is superb. Short walk to cafes, shops and walking tracks. Stunning in Arrowtown with the trees in full autumn colours.
2ply toilet paper Electric blanket and topper didn't really fit the bed and kept coming loose and clumping up during the night

Probably themed to be olde worldly but the spiders and worn furniture and lumpy bed didn’t really do it for us - if I was 30 years younger probably fun!

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026The vibe was very cottagy which we liked. The room was very spacious, good shower, and a comfy bed. Had 2 ceramic elements for light cooking which suited us. There are two outdoor seating areas for each unit to maximize the sun and the location was so close to everything. Our hosts were super friendly and gave helpful info for places to eat and things to do. Loved it.
We did run out of hot water the first morning but not on the days afterward.

Single hot and cold water taps on all basins, terribly dated clutter (plastic flowers and old-fashioned cushions) everywhere, hardly any room to put anything in the bathroom, no wardrobe and not clean at all. It's certainly not shabby-chic. I have painted many items with chalk paint and given it a stressed look, however this is just dirty looking and mismatched and not 'charming' at all.

Best described as “well used”, could do with a refresh. Wear and tear evident in the furnishings. Could be elevated to an amazing stay experience at minimum cost but a lot of TLC and attention to detail required. Mix of styles (old and new, italianate, modernist, mid century, 1990’s etc a bit confusing).
