The gym equipment was poorly maintained; some looked dangerous. The walls between the rooms are not soundproof. We heard conversations, TV and snoring from the adjacent room.

A little dated but the price for what you get reflected this. Great value for money. The sticker with WiFi information was hard to find as the information book said it was located elsewhere. The TV remote took a while to work out as there was only one remote and it wasn't the one which turned TV on so figured out I needed to manually turn it on by the button on the TV underside. None of these things were major so still very happy with the place.

They leave all the outside lights on at night and some of the rooms only have wooden slat blinds not blackout curtains which make it difficult to sleep if you are light sensitive.

The bed was too small! Impossible for two people to comfortably sleep in it, Too narrow. Inadequate heating for bedroom. Kitchen facilities barely adequate. Old cumbersome electric jug and toaster , very small bread and butter plates.

Only sad thing..shower door needed a love..water ended up all over the floor…but didn’t dampen our stay at all..no pun intended!

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Really enjoyed our stay, the spa pool was great, bed was comfy and had most things we needed. Handy to town and supermarket. Loved the sauna and the staff we very friendly.
The concrete tiles are freezing on your feet. The fridge froze everything several times during our 10 night stay. Not really ideal for long stays as there was no draws to put your clothes or unpack. There was also no fan over the small cook top and no oven which limited what we could cook or eat.
