There is nothing to not like anything

The locality was very good. It was close to family who we had come to see and easy to travel to Merivale, Redwood, St Albans and Marshlands from there. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was spacious enough to fit our dog crate easily. We appreciated being able to bring our dog and that the unit was spacious. It was surprisingly quiet all night. The welcome text was really helpful and the heater on ready when we arrived was so needed: thankyou!

The kitchen area was great for breakfasts but if we had wanted to serve out meals the bench area would have been too small.

So many beds! It was fantastic! We got in late and our heater was on and the room was lovely and warm, super clean. Very quiet too. We were there for two nights and had a wonderful stay.

The location was excellent, not many people staying and the garden was exceptional, my dog loved his walks around the grounds and there was plenty of surrounding park around. Four night stay to rest and recuperate after a lot of driving. Suitable for day trips to Akaroa, New Brighton, Lyttleton and Governors Bay. Good quick laundry too.

It was quiet and the room was large. Facilities were good. Good to be able to use the washing machine and dryer.

The notice in the room said if staying more than 3 nights room would be serviced, we stayed 5 nights and the room was not serviced. The heat pump was not very good until I got the filters down and gave them a clean then worked a treat

Nice quiet area and it is pet friendly which is great. There is a good playground for kids.

The TV is small so hard to see picture and hard to watch from all seating areas in the lounge. No bath if you have young children. You aren't met by any staff you don't see any staff at all if you require assistance you have to ring them. They are very helpful if you do need to though.

Liked the location, nice and quiet. Unit was very clean and tidy. We had all that we needed. It was comfortable and roomy. Close to the shopping mall & eateries. Enjoyed our nights stay.

In the bedroom with 2 single beds it was difficult to open the closet, the bed was too close to it.

Motel is in good location, clean and comfortable, near to a bus route to the CBD, off street parking. Might be a little noisy when the next door sports fields are used, otherwise quiet as it's situated in a residential area. Comfortable beds, enough kitchen equipment for a short stay.

A couple of hooks in the bathroom would be nice to hang clothes or a robe. The outdoor chairs could have done with a wipe down

Was fantastic as ever, so great with dogs being right by the park. Fab facilities lovely and clean.

Nice size rooms, off the road so nice and quiet, comfy couch, bed was very comfortable , kitchenette had everything needed.

Shower was low pressure, didnt help that part that keeps shower head up was broken so had to shove it behind rail otherwise had to hold it. Carpet was very stained, room not very clean. No office, no staff so could tell no one.

The two-bedroom apartment was clean, thoughtfully outfitted, spacious, quiet & surrounded by well-kept gardens. The beds were a little firm, so comfortable & just the way we like them. Bed linen was quality cotton & there was a generous amount of bathroom towels etc provided. Quite well-located, with the city centre & Papanui Road restaurants all within about 10 minutes by car. (Not sure about the motel’s proximity to public transport, though).

Overstuffed lounge suite was a little shabby & took up a lot of room unnecessarily.

Really nice and clean, plenty of space, lots of useful furniture and had everything we needed. Plenty of linens supplied and heat pump was great. Good areas for doggies a d has large field and playground next door for kids and dogs to run around in. Free washing machines and dryers added bonus. Happily stay again. Really good value for money.

Only con was that the parking was out the front - had to lug bags etc prob 50m back and forth. And when raining was a bit of a sprint with baby pram bags etc.

Very spacious unit, surprisingly handy to many places. Laundry with washer and dryer available at no cost. And really quiet peaceful location.

TV was too small for the size of the room. No office/reception, but staff were easy to reach by phone.

Très bon établissement, très propre et calme. Pas d'accueil sur place mais personnel très réactif au téléphone.

Accommodating of our large family group across 3 units. Handy location, good size units and comfortable beds.

Unfortunately housekeeping and cleanliness let us down this time, but not enough for us not to return as this place was a fab setup for our family, especially the kids.

Dirty, my child found used ear buds in one room, the bathroom roof was moldy, the bottom of toilet door was filthy with dust, hair and rubbish ! Went to use plates and cutlery and they were all dirty had to wash before we ate. There was a weird ugly stain right outside the bathroom floor. Bathroom was just gross.

The unit we stayed in was clean and tidy. The beds were very nice and comfortable. Very peaceful setting

There were a couple of drinking glasses that were a little dirty and one of the switches by jug was faulty.

It is an older style apartment with lots of space. Large shower/bathroom and separate toilet. Big rooms and high ceilings, so not stuffy. Very comfortable. It was in a nice area to walk around and 5km return walk to the Palms Shopping Centre

The carpark was not outside our apartment. It was about 50 metres away, but I didn’t have security concerns.area.

Unusual style of motel. Units are arranged around a small central garden in a very out of the way setting.

I loved the hassle free check in room was ready for us we got a txt to let us know. The rooms were very clean facilities quiet and in town.

Very reasonable price, great location and spotlessly clean

Lots of groups of foreign student rugby players were also staying who made a lot of noise and monopolised the laundry facilities. Also, it was a long walk to the carpark carrying luggage but the staff kindly lent us a trolley which made it easier. Communal BBQ and table were filthy.

There isn’t an office onsite so it would be helpful to be informed that customers will need to ring to get their unit number. Only a small issue. Perhaps screens on selective windows would be a nice addition too so windows could be open without letting in insects.

Clean, tidy, comfortable, quiet although the walls were thin so we were lucky not noisy people in adjoining unit. Tennis court. Nice grounds/trees. Location pretty good.

Plastic kettle; who wants to boil their water in one of those things. Cars are parked away from units in public access area. If it’s raining then that distance from your car can be a big inconvenience. No on site staff or little shop for necessities.
