Bit far from everything and on busy road, although road noise at night wasn't an issue.

We had a lovely stay.The room was clean, tidy and spacious, with everything we needed. Kids especially loved the spa bath.

Location right next to highway and railway tracks, was very noisy until late at night.

SUPER large bed and very comfortable! Its a shame theres a kitchenette instead of a kitchen for such big area but it is adequate. Maybe have a set of cutlery and dishes for 4 people as my daughter came for dinner & we had to use bread plates!

The skirting around the spa needs to be repaired.

The location was amazing and the size of the rooms were great for the kids.

The lounge couch had a hard mat over it as there was no cushioning on the springs so not really usable. But other than that everything else was amazing

Loved our spa 😍. Bed was comfy and warm. Place was nice and quiet. Well lit on the outside, but the curtains give good privacy and leaves the room dark. Host was friendly 😀 Close to where we needed to go.

I have stayed here a few times over the years and it was always a great experience, it has been years since and seeing it was now under new management I was skeptic that would be the same experience but I was wrong the place will still pleasant and tidy and the new managers were perfect to deal with. I highly recommend to all and will still be my go to accomodation when I return to Mount Maunganui.

My only issue is the entrance/exit onto the main highway can sometimes be tricky to get out if truckies are staying as they park out the entrance sometimes makes it hard to see if traffic is coming, nothing bad to say about the accomodation itself.

Pip was fabulous - nothing was too much trouble - even changed our room to a downstairs suite as the stairs were going to be a challenge! So thoughtful.

When we arrived for our 2 night stay, we found that they did not make up our beds! Instead of offering to make up the beds for us, the manager said that “the cleaner left already” and left us with all the bed sheets. (Never before was I ever asked to make I my own room) The rooms are very noisy as it was next to the motor way. You could feel the vibrations through the floor and walls. Then we complained about the noise etc, and went off to stay in another place that night for a good rest after a long day of driving. When I asked if we could cancel the 2nd night, the manager told us that we were not allowed cancel our second night. So I kept the key to use the facilities the next day. The next morning when we went back to use the room facilities and stay the second night, SHOCKING! there was a stranger in my room that I paid for and which I have not checked out of yet! Mind you, I still hold the room key! How did they rent out my room to another person when I have not even checked out yet?? If you ever stay here, you must not tell the manager that you are not going to come back that night, because they will rent out your room to another person without your consent! I asked the manager how they could do that when I have not checked out and when I not returned the key! She said, I don’t have to check out and I don’t have to return my key! So should I just throw away the key? I swear this is the worst place I have ever stayed at. If I could give minus stars for rating, it would be -10.

For a 3 day stay there was no where comfortable to sit except the beds the sofa was lumpy and you could feel the springs when you sat the dining seats were very uncomfortable hard wooden seats that needed a cushion to pillow to be able to sit on them we are here for my son’s wedding not a holiday

That during a cyclone , Pip (manager) came to give us a couple of battery lights in case a power outage.

Our room was really clean and neat. The bed was comfortable and great to sleep in. The room eventually will need to be refurbished but it was great to stay in.

The location was convenient, two bed unit was spacious, beds were comfortable.

We were downstairs and could hear every footstep and movement upstairs, so it was frustrating.

I liked how welcoming the owner was. Staying on the ground floor was great, especially with kids. Even though it’s close to the motorway, it was really quiet, and the water pressure was strong.

The fan in ceiling rattled everytime a truck went past. Which was basically all night. Noisy nights sleep, Be careful as not all rooms have air con.

Location was a challenge getting to the dolphin tour. Wonderful staff, super helpful. Secure and great offroad parking
